Hello everyone! Trying my best here to cope with this whole pandemic that looks like it isn't going away anytime soon. Since I did a Halloween special, I had thought to do a Christmas and New Years special as well. I didn't do a Thanksgiving one because first, I didn't have time since I was so focused in finishing Blood-Red Moon and second, Thanksgiving isn't really a holiday that's universally celebrated or at least celebrated the same way the U.S. and Canada celebrate it. And since Yu-Gi-Oh mostly takes place in Japan and most of the important cast is either Japanese or Egyptian, I didn't really see the point of it. I'm going to make this fanfic as fun and festive as possible. There's going to be a lot fluff, romance, comedy, and definitely family.

Mentions of Duelist Kingdom and Battle City. But in my story, let's pretend that those tournaments were just normal competitive tournaments without all the shadow games, dark magic, kidnapped loved ones, "shadow realm" (which in many cases is just death), evil maniacs out to destroy Yugi and his friends, and the whole "saving the world from darkness" plot. This also means Atem, Yami Bakura, and Marik (Yami Marik doesn't exist) will just be regular teenagers. And I will also be using the original Japanese names of the characters for cultural purposes. Only Pegasus will keep dub version name since I like it better and both versions are American anyway. Also Odion.

Rated T For: Possibly some profanity, lightly implied intimacy (hey wanna keep it PG13 for the kids, plus wanna make it a happy fun holiday fanfic), and MILD violence.

Pairings: Vaseshipping, Polarshipping, Aweshipping, and some others.

Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-OH. All right go to Kazuki Takahashi.

Domino, Japan

'Twas the morning before Christmas, the whole city of Domino was already on the high run preparing for the holidays to come. Winter had started since mid November, with the city receiving only small blankets of snow. While it may have not been enough to build a snowman or start snow balls fights, residents of Domino simply enjoyed it's beauty and that was more than enough for them. Many families were out and about trying to buy gifts for their loved ones, especially their children. The most popular thing in the selling market was a famous cardgame called Duel Monsters. Being that the whole city was built and centered around KaibaCorp, the biggest gaming company in the world and the promoter of the infamous cardgame, almost all the kids, teens, and even young adults would be playing the Duel Monsters cardgame and even dueling one another with the hologram projectors that KaibaCorp has created.

Parents would often be buying their kids exclusive trading cards limited addition during the holidays and brand new duel disks. This made it especially busy at the small, yet very successful Kame Gamshop owned by Sugoroku Mutuo, a former gambler who was considered quite a legend back in the day. And despite that KaibaCorp also advertised the trading cards, that small game shop had given quite the competition.

However, that wasn't the only reason as to why the game shop was so popular. Apart from the fact that such a famous gamer owned the place, Sugoroku also had a pair of twin grandsons, who had inherited his talent for mastering and playing games. Since they were little, Sugoroku took notice of their fascination for games and how easily they were able to grasp any game they played, which motivated him to teach them more strategies. Now they were considered champions, which made them extremely famous all over Japan and other gaming industries in foreign countries.

Atem Mutuo, the eldest twin particularly had already earned himself a reputation from the beginning of being the 'Game King' as some called him, since he loved to gamble and was often secretly entering night clubs (which some were mainly for adults) to all play all sorts of games, often winning them with ease. He feared no one and never stepped away from a challenge, even if the odds were against him.

It had all started when he had defeated Seto Kaiba, the number one Duel Monsters Champion of Japan and the very CEO of KaibaCorp in order to win back their grandfather's Blue-Eyes White Dragon card after Kaiba had won it from their grandfather in a duel. While it hadn't been an official duel, the news had spread like wildfire, catching the attention of the famous Maximilian Pegasus who was the president of Industrial Illusions and the very creator of the Duel Monsters game. He had then invited both him and his younger twin brother, Yugi Mutuo to an island far in the pacific where he would be hosting tournament known as Duelist Kingdom.

There, the brothers had dueled their way through all different types of adversaries, always coming out victorious. Their best friend, Katsuya Jonouchi despite being only a beginner had also been invited as well as Kaiba. All four of them, along with a female duelist named Mai Kujaku, and former American champion Bandit Keith were the finalists. The twins and the blonde underdog had come out victorious with Atem defeating Kaiba for a second time, Yugi defeating Mai, and Jonouchi defeating Bandith Keith despite that it was discovered he was cheating the whole time. After a raffle between the three, it had been Atem vs Jonouchi with Atem winning.

Then it had been the the two brothers dueling each other, each trying to outdo one another and seeing who would go up against Pegasus. After an epic clash, with Atem and Yugi throwing everything they had at one another, the duel had ended in a draw with both their life points dropping to 0. Before anyone questioned what would happen next, Atem decided that he would step aside and forfeit the tournament, letting his little brother face Pegasus instead and have his moment to shine. Yugi then faced Pegasus and after a hard trial, he eventually defeated the very creator of Duel Monsters, winning the title 'King of Duelists' and the prize money. The prize money though he had given it to Jonouchi for his sister's operation, since that was the main reason Joey had entered the tournament in the first place.

Everyone celebrated in Yugi's honor and eventually everyone went back to their daily lives. Kaiba on the other hand, hadn't got over his losses at the hands of Atem and therefore decided to host a tournament of his own, which he named Battle City and even created newly advanced duel disks that are now sold everywhere today. All was with the intention to face Atem again and beat him this time, regaining his reputation claiming himself as the World Champion. The twins, Jonouchi, and a lot of other duelists from Duelist Kingom had been able register themselves into the tournament. Almost all of the same duelists from the previous tournament, along with some new faces were finalists. While having become a finalist as well, Yugi decided to return the favor to Atem and this time, it was he who stepped aside his official excuse saying that the number of finalists were uneven. After many duels, including traveling on a blimp and reaching a crumbled island with a duel tower, Atem had reigned at the top, defeating Kaiba once more. The Battle City finals had been televised publicly all over Japan and even reached other countries. Therefore everyone had seen Atem as the new champion which caused his other achievements as the 'Game King' to come out into the light. Seto Kaiba then officially announced him as reigning World Champion of the Battle City Tournament and crowned 'King of Games'.

The success of both the twins caused a massive amounts of customers not only from Domino, but from all over the world. Many famous duelists traveled from afar to come visit the game shop and meet both the King of Duelists and the King of Games in person, often challenging them to a duel. They happily accepted from time to time, always coming out on top and other gamblers often wanted Atem to play other games with them. This also made them into some of the most popular kids at school. While Atem already had a handful of friends and admirers before the fame due to his confidence, good looks, bravery, and out-going personality, Yugi on the other hand had been a reserved, shy, and insecure boy. Despite being identical twins, Yugi was quite small for his age and looked like he was 12 unlike Atem who actually looked like a 15-year-old teenager. Bullies at school took advantage of this, often picking on him only for Atem to come out and defend him, getting into fights as well as Jonouchi and their other friend Hiroto Honda. But now, all of that was just a distant memory.

Almost three years passed by since then and two years since Kaiba's tournament. Over that time, Yugi had finally hit his late growth spurt and growing in several inches, being almost as tall his older brother. He became more confident, independent, and had an improved self-esteem much like his older brother. The twins were now 17, almost 18 next month and they had just graduated high school this summer. Now they were more focused on their future and hoping to achieve all their goals in life. Atem in particular had temporarily quiet dueling so that he may focus on more important things in his life like their future now that they were out of high school.

In Kame Gameshop, the Mutuo family were preparing everything for the holidays just like everyone else and how busy they were expecting it to be. Sugoroku was already preparing the shop before it opened while his daughter Gina and mother of the twins was in the kitchen cooking breakfast.

"Dad, could you wake up the boys and tell them breakfast is almost ready?" Gina called out from the kitchen.

"Yes darling." With that Sugoroku stopped what he was doing and left upstairs to wake up his grandsons. He knocked on the door to their room, which they shared.

"Yugi, Atem, time to wake up. Breakfast is almost ready."

No answer from them so the elder man opened the door and entered the room. He saw the lumps on the two beds on each side and could see Yugi's face while he snored. Sugoroku sighed in defeat.

These boys...

He went to open the curtains of the window, instantly brightening the room. Yugi groaned in annoyance as he felt the sun's rays on his face and pulled the covers over his head. "Rise and shine boys."

"Five more minutes grandpa." Yugi said tiredly in his sleep.

"Come on now Yugi. It's a beautiful day outside and there is so much for you both to do. Now hurry up and wake up your brother once you're up. Your mother is downstairs with breakfast almost ready." He patted on Yugi's shoulder one last time before leaving downstairs.

Yugi sighed, not wanting to get out of bed but knew he didn't have a choice and their grandpa was capable of throwing cold water on them if they didn't listen the first time. He reluctantly pulled the covers off of him and sat up on his bed. He rubbed his eyes, still half-asleep while looking at the desk where he and his brother's decks and duel disk were at. It was then he remembered today was the day he and Atem were supposed to go to KaibaCorp and start on the collaboration with Kaiba in creating their new game.

The 17-year-old got off the bed and walked towards Atem's bed, who surprisedly hasn't moved a muscle since he tends to move in his bed a lot when he's asleep, especially when being disturbed by someone else. Perhaps he wasn't really looking forward to going to KaibaCorp? It wouldn't really surprise Yugi, since Kaiba hasn't stopped nagging Atem for a rematch, to the point at attending at their school again and even showing up to their house every now and then. Atem had grown so tired with Kaiba's stubbornness that it was part of the reason he was glad they graduated so he wouldn't have to deal with Kaiba at school. And at their house, he would either disappear into his room and have their mom or grandpa tell Kaiba he wasn't there or leave for the evening to a friend's house until Grandpa called him to tell him Kaiba left. Maybe that's why Kaiba then offered to help them in realizing their dreams in inventing their own game, so that in return Atem would duel him. Kaiba hasn't outright brought this up yet, but Yugi knew it was bound to happen eventually.

Yugi looked at the lump underneath the covers, before rolling his eyes.

"Hey Atem. Mom and Grandpa says to wake up. Breakfast is ready." Yugi received no answer.

"Hey bro, come on. Grandpa just told us to-" Yugi stopped midway as he pulled the covers off and was shocked to see that instead of sleeping Atem, there was nothing but a bunch of pillows stuff together.

"What the?! Atem, where'd you go?!" The younger brother panicked and immediately went to look into the bathroom, which was right across the hallways from their room. Seeing no one in there, he went back to their room and pulled his hair, now realizing that his brother had snuck out.

Of course! No wonder he suddenly wanted to go to bed early yesterday. He never goes to bed early just because he's tired!

But if he hadn't spend the night here, then where was he then?

"Oh man, mom's gonna kill him! I better call him and tell him to come back before they find out!" He grabbed his cellphone and immediately dialed the number, hoping that Atem would answer.

Not too far from Kame Gameshop, was quite a fancy house that resided in a nice neighborhood. It wasn't mansion-sized or anything, but it certainly was of high quality and something that only wealthy people could afford. Inside one of the top windows was a room decorated with feminine and girly objects that belonged to a teenage girl.

As the sunlight entered inside the window and reached the bed, Atem opened his eyes slowly. Feeling the light warm his skin and hit his eyes, he blocked them with his hand. He rubbed his eyes tiredly before looking up at the ceiling and fully opening his eyes. His face turned into one of confusion as he didn't recognize the ceiling as his own. Also, where did the skylight go?

The boy tried to move, but then felt a weight on his chest. Atem looked down and saw a girl with long, unruly brown hair and he immediately recognized her as his girlfriend.

Mana?

She slept peacefully on his chest and it took him a few seconds to realize that they were both naked and wrapped in her bedsheets.

But when did he-

Oh yeah, now I remember.

He had remembered that last night he had snuck out of his house with the pretext that he would be going to bed early so he could come and visit Mana. His original intention was just to have a small nice dinner he ordered at their favorite restaurant and give her Christmas present early since this year, they wouldn't be spending it together. Her family would be going out of the country for a trip. Her older brother Mahad was quite an international traveler and was certainly fond of learning each country's traditions and culture.

Atem had secretly climbed up to her balcony without anyone knowing he was there. He could have went through the front door, but then Mahad wouldn't have let them stay alone in her room. Instead, he would have them remain in the living room, with Mahad watching them like a hawk. And the tri-colored haired teen wanted to be alone and comfortable with Mana like when they went out.

Of course this wasn't something that he had planned when coming to visit his girlfriend, not that he regretted it. After finishing together the traditional Japanese Christmas cake which she now claimed as her favorite type of cake, he simply had kissed her goodnight, but then one thing led to another and then this was the result.

The teen smiled and caressed Mana's brown hair, recalling the wonderful night of love they had spent together. While it wasn't the first time they were together like this (unbeknownst to Mahad of course), it certainly was the first time doing it in her room and the first time spending the whole night until morning. He still remembered when they had first met, which had been a little over a year ago.

Mana's sister-in-law, Ishizu Ishtar had been one of the semifinalists of the Battle City tournament, as well her brother Marik, and their adoptive brother Odion. They belong to a family of tomb keepers of some ancient pharaoh in Egypt and were in search for some ancient Egyptian artifacts. But just as they were tomb keepers, they also developed a reputation of being the most top tier duelists in their own country, which is what had also caught their attention to enter Kaiba's tournament. Ishizu was especially shocked when she met Atem not only because he greatly resembled the carving of a pharaoh on a stone tablet, but also because he and his brother possessed the Millennium Puzzle, one of the artifacts the siblings have been searching for and the last one missing. Atem had been skeptical of this, until he saw the stone tablet himself. Still, he refused to give away his puzzle since it was given to him and Yugi by their grandfather on their 8th birthday and both twins have grown attached to it since then, taking turns in wearing it, especially when they were in tough spots.

So he continued on with the tournament normally, indecisive of giving up his puzzle. Once Atem had won the tournament, he and Yugi finally made the decision to give Ishizu their puzzle after a talk with their grandfather, making them realize that it belonged in Egypt. The Ishtar siblings returned to their homeland having completed their mission and the Mutuo family didn't hear from them until almost a year later. It was barely going into Autumn season when Ishizu had called Sugoroku that they were coming back to Japan, this time planning to stay permanently as their life as tomb keepers in Egypt was over and wanted to open up a museum on some new discoveries they found over the nameless pharaoh. Sugoroku gladly accepted the offer to work with her on the museum, using his expertises as a former archaeologist on Ancient Egypt.

Sugoroku and his two grandsons waited for them at the airport to welcome them back. They were quite surprised to find out that Ishizu had recently married to a fine young Egyptian archeologist who they learned was constantly traveling to different places. Marik and Odion had accompanied them as well and that's when Atem saw her for the first time.

Standing next to Mahad as he introduced her as his sister was Mana. A teenage girl of petite stature, sun-kissed bronzed skin, wild long brown hair, and the most beautiful turquoise eyes he had ever seen. Atem just couldn't take his eyes off her on how beautiful she was as she locked eyes with him. It was practically love at first sight he would say.

Once the family had installed themselves into their new home, Mana had asked her brother if she could go look around the city with Odion watching her of course. But then Atem had offered that he and Yugi can take her instead since they knew the city better. Then he had began feeling something special about her and made him want to get to know her more. It especially made him happy when he found out she was enrolling into his same school. She had been quiet and shy at first, even with all the boys in the school drooling over the new girl and giving her small gifts on the first day. Atem and Jonouchi had scared them away of course and with his help, she managed to open up more, make new friends and since then, they were inseparable. He recalled their first kiss being under a mistletoe. By Christmas Eve, they were already formally a couple and went to celebrate their first Christmas together.

To Mana, it had been quite foreign the way people celebrated Christmas here in Japan. Especially since it didn't involve singing at a church until midnight (or anything religious for that matter), then going home to eat a huge feast with all your relatives (apparently ordering fried chicken from KFC was far more popular during Christmas), or the fact Baba Noël as Father Christmas was called in Egypt, was called Santa-san here in Japan. And Christmas was better known being a holiday for couples to have dinner and exchange gifts exclusively to one another, instead of celebrating with family and Baba Noël leaving presents under a tree (though in reality of course it was usually the parents). But despite it being weird to her, she actually found a liking to this new tradition, especially since it involved spending time with your significant other.

He pulled the sleeping girl into his arms, showering her face with butterfly kisses. She opened her eyes slowly at feeling his kisses and met with a pair of amethyst eyes.

"Atem?" She said tiredly.

"Good morning sleepy head." He said lovingly, while caressing her hair and planting a kiss on her lips. She kissed him back and rubbed her eyes tiredly.

"Good morning prince." She called him by the nickname she gave him ever since he grew that habit of climbing up her balcony every now and then when they couldn't see each other outside of school, just like the princes in those fairytales her mother use to read to her as a child.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked her with a cocky smile.

"Yep." She replied in a chirpy voice, before snuggling in her boyfriend's arms. "For a moment, I thought everything that happened last night had just been a dream."

"Don't be silly. If anything, I'd say this is a beautiful reality. The only thing that would be left is our wedding."

Mana pulled away for a moment and pulled the sheets to cover her body before looking at her boyfriend dead in the eye. "Are you serious Atem? Do you really want to marry me?"

He smiled and pulled a lock of hair behind her ear. "Of course. I wouldn't be saying it if it wasn't true. And believe me I've never been serious or said this to anyone I've been with before. I want to be with you for the rest of our lives. And I promise you that as soon as you turn 18, we'll get married right away."

"You really mean it prince?" Mana asked with adoration and hidden excitement. He nodded and she squealed before laying back onto his chest with his arms wrapping around her.

"But aren't we a little too young? And what about Mahad and your family? What if they don't accept it?" Atem simply shrugged and kissed her forehead, while looking at the ceiling.

"My family won't have a problem with it. The most that would possibly happen is that my mother and grandfather might ask me to think this through carefully and see if this is what I really want. But in the end, I know they'll support us."

"But my brother, he's...well..." Mana said doubtful that Mahad will be as accepting, knowing him how strict and old-fashioned he can be.

"I'll talk to him myself when the time comes and break the news to him. It's something that corresponds me to do." He said firmly and completely decided. "But let's not worry about that right now. Right now all I want to do is hold you a little longer before you go, my precious girl."

Mana giggled. "Oh Atem, you act as if I'm going away forever. It's going to be only until after New Year's. We can text and face time while I'm away. Or are you more worried about the fact that you won't be able to have me in your bed for the next few weeks?" She teased. He scoffed and decided to play along.

"And what about it if that were the case? Besides, last time I checked this was your bed."

"But you're the one who came up to my room." She pressed her finger onto his chest playfully.

"Is there something wrong with me wanting to spend some quality time with my girlfriend? Also, you can't really deny that we had wonderful time last night."

The petite girl leaned up to him and caressed his cheek. "Yes, it really was great."

The teenage couple then joined their lips into a loving kiss and shared a couple of more kisses. The pair of young lovers were so into their moment that they failed to notice the sound of Mana's door opening.

"Young Miss. Your brother says it's time for you to wake up and sends you your breakfast...MISS MANA!" The maid that had come in to wake up and prepare Mana for the day exclaimed, mortified at what she just discovered, dropping the silver tray with Mana's breakfast.

Atem and Mana immediately separated from one another and both sat up startled, while Mana grabbed her sheets to cover herself even more. The girl was beyond mortified and her cheeks were flushed with red. The last she would have wanted was anyone, especially Mahad to know about their intimacy. But being caught in the act was even worse!

The maid stood stunned for a few seconds, before she heard a voice downstairs.

"Chiharu what was that noise?" She snapped out of her trance when she heard Mahad ask from downstairs.

"N-nothing sir! T-the tray just slipped out of my hands. I'll clean it up now." The maid stuttered before picking up the tray and putting it on a Mana's study desk, before closing the door and eyeing an awe-struck Mana.

Mana tried to look for an explanation through her embarrassment.

"Look Chiharu, I can explain. This isn't...I mean don't think that-"

"Don't worry about it Miss Mana, there is no need for an explanation. It's quite... clear on what's going here."

Atem looked sheepish as he held the sheets to his waist. "Please Chiharu. Don't tell anyone about this. I don't want to cause Mana a major problem with her brother."

The woman in service gasped, while putting a hand to her chest, not wanting to imagine Master Mahad's reaction at finding out about this. "Dear heavens no. He would have all of us dismembered and buried into a coffin."

The teens sighed in relief. "Good. Thank you so much Chiharu."

However, the relief was short-lived as they were silenced by approaching footsteps up the stairs.

"Chiharu, are you done cleaning?"

The maid began to panic, she knew Mahad was heading toward Mana's room.

"Miss Mana! Your brother is coming this way!"

The pair of teenagers began to panic as well. "Oh no! What are we going to do?! "

The tri-colored haired teen was trying to think rationally. "I don't know. But maybe we should just go and tell him about us and if I explain to him-"

"What?!" Mana exclaimed at such absurd solution. "Are you crazy prince?! He's going to kill us before we even have the chance to explain anything if he finds us like this! No! What you have to do is hide before he finds you here!"

"But where am I going to hide?!"

"Ummm... under my bed." The girl said after quick thinking. "Yeah, that's it!"

"Brilliant idea, my lady! Now hurry!" The teens quickly got off the bed, with Atem kicking off the covers, forgetting for a moment that he had nothing on.

"Ah! Young man! Please cover yourself!" Chiharu exclaimed with a blush before turning away. He said nothing, but had a blush on his face as well as he turned to pull on his boxers and leather pants on, while Mana had the sheets wrapped around her naked body as she grabbed her nightgown.

As Atem tied the belt around his pants, they heard a knocking on the door. "Chiharu, is Mana awake?"

"Quickly Mr. Mutuo!" The maid hurried them in a harsh whisper as Mana finished putting on her nightgown and quickly fixing her hair. "Um, yes Master Mahad! She's getting up this instant. Give us a moment, we'll be right out!"

"Hurry Prince!" Mana pushed him under her bed.

"Okay, okay, geez." Atem said quietly as he crawled under the bed, which he found it difficult due to his hair. Mana then kicked his shoes and what she assumed was the rest of his clothes underneath the bed too. Mana scanned around quickly to see if anything was left or out of the ordinary. Seeing that everything look normal, she nodded towards Chiharu who nodded back before opening the door.

Right before them was a tall, sun-kissed tanned young man who had straight, long brown hair like Mana's hair color tied in a low ponytail. Mana gulped at seeing Mahad, before playing it off by laughing nervously.

"Good morning big brother." Mahad let a small smile at seeing his little sister's bright, shining face this morning. He had thought she was sick since she had left to her room for a moment before dinner last night, but never came down as she said she would. When Mahad went to check on her, she had said through the door that she wasn't feeling well and just wanted to go to sleep.

"Good morning Mana. I wanted to check up on you to see how you were doing, since I was worried about you last night. I even had send you your breakfast so that you won't have to get out of bed, but clearly that plan failed." He said, glaring at Chiharu. The maid simply bowed her down sheepishly with Mana mouthing her 'sorry'.

"Oh, well you don't have to worry about me now Mahad. I feel so much better now." She said cheerfully.

"I can tell. It seems that last night did wonders to you." The teenage girl nearly choked on that comment and blushed, though Mahad hadn't noticed as he walked past her and towards her balcony window. Atem snickered quietly underneath the bed.

"If that's the case then might as well come down for breakfast."

"Um, yeah sure I would love that. I'm actually starving..." Mana's voice trailed away as she saw next to Mahad's feet as he opened the curtains even more, revealed to be Atem's black leather jacket. She began to sweat nervously, knowing that all he had to do was glance for a moment on the floor for him to notice the jacket. The maid also took notice of this and began biting her nails.

"Alright then. I will see you down there, because I wanted to tell you that- hey are you alright? You look all pale all of a sudden." Mahad asked worriedly, walking away from the window and coming towards Mana before putting a hand on her forehead.

"You're not sick still are you?"

"N-no!" The girl managed to blurt out. "I swear it brother, I'm fine. I promise."

Mahad looked at her suspiciously, trying to see if she was lying but then figured that why would Mana lie about not being sick. He decided to take her word for it.

"Alright. Well, I'll see you downstairs in a few minutes. I have a surprise for all of you, regarding where we'll be going for our trip."

"Great! I'll be downstairs in a moment! You can go now, don't want to keep you waiting here! Plus, I want to doll up a bit. Don't want to go down there looking like a hot mess. Hehe." She practically pushed her brother and hurried him towards the exit. But just before he was outside, Mahad stopped himself.

"Wait a moment."

"What?!" Both females said unison so suddenly.

"I almost forgot. You wouldn't happen to know if Atem Mutuo was home last night?"

Mana nearly fainted, thinking he had caught her. "U-um w-why?"

"Because Seto Kaiba called the house yesterday asking for him, since he couldn't find him at his home the other night. And since he's your boyfriend, Kaiba had thought he might be here or at least you might know where he is. Though if you ask me, he most likely is at home still but his family denied him to Kaiba like they usually do since Atem has grown fed up with Kaiba's pestering. He told me so himself and quite frankly I don't blame him." Mahad laughed softly.

Mana sighed with relief, while Atem rolled his eyes and inwardly groaned. That Kaiba just doesn't know when to quit. And now he's even bothering his girlfriend and her family all because he's too petty in wanting to duel with him. He was already going to see him at KaibaCorp almost everyday from now on. What more did he want?

"Yeah, that's true. In fact, Prince was at home because he called me to wish me goodnight before we leave." Mana said, knowing she found the perfect cover.

"Okay then. See you at breakfast and don't take too long. Chiharu, please take the tray down to the kitchen and help prepare the table for breakfast."

"Yes sir." Chiharu bowed before turning to glance at Mana.

"Good. I'll see you in a bit." The teen secretly winked in reassurance at the maid, who nodded back. Once they exited out of her room, Mana hastily closed the door and listened closely to hear if they were actually leaving and Mahad wasn't just standing there eavesdropping on her. She heard their footsteps fade as they walked away. Once she was sure the coast was clear, Mana ran towards under her bed.

"Okay Atem, they're gone."

"Finally." With that, the teenage boy finally crawled out of the bed with his hair all messy and pushing his clothing outside of the bed along was other things that were already under there.

"Seriously Mana, why do you have so many stuffed animals? I could barely breathe down there." He said slightly annoyed while throwing the stuffed rabbit across the room. He then hurriedly proceeded to put on his shirt.

"Sorry about that Prince. But wow, that was a close one. For a moment, I thought we were goners." Mana laughed. Her boyfriend also laughed.

"Well, maybe you might not be. But that doesn't mean it's still the same for me. For all I know, my family probably already knows that I'm not home by now. So I'm most likely dead meat when I get back." He then went to hold her face in his hands, caressing her cheek.

"But hey, it was all worth it." He kissed her sweetly. He was in love with her, more than he would have ever expected and couldn't imagine living a life without her.

"Mhm, my handsome prince."

"I guess Mahad was right after all. Last night really did bring wonders to you." Atem joked with a cheeky smile, causing Mana to blush again.

"Ugh, prince you pervert! Just hurry and get home before Mahad comes back and finds you here."

The young duelist nodded before putting on one of his shoes and heading outside in the balcony. "I love you."

"Love you too." She quickly kissed him one last time before he began climbing down the vines outgrown onto the walls from the garden. Mana looked back into the room to see if anyone was knocking at her door and noticed that Atem had forgotten about something.

"Ah, Atem wait!" She raced into her room and grabbed his other shoe which he forgot to put on. She then paced outside again and looked down from her balcony noticing that he had already made it on the ground.

"Prince here!" She hastily threw the shoe down at him a little too rough.

"OW!" Mana gasped as she saw and heard the leather-material shoe land on his head really hard.

"Sorry Prince!" She said sheepishly. Her boyfriend messaged his head real quick, before brushing the pain aside and quickly putting on his other shoe. He then rushed through the garden behind the house, before climbing over the brick wall and onto the street. As he disappeared from view, Mana sighed in satisfaction before going back into her room to fix herself, hoping that her love wouldn't get into any trouble when he got home.

As Mana got ready, she looked at the gift her boyfriend had left for her. It was actually quite small, being only palm-sized. But knowing him, Mana was absolutely certain that he must have gotten her something special and that she would really love. He always did like on her birthday, White Day, and their 6-month anniversary. She blushed remembering that precisely on the day of their anniversary was the day they decided to... well take the next step to their relationship.

Mana shook those thoughts out of her head and looked at the tiny gift and was tempted to open it now, but decided that she would wait until Christmas. That way, it would make it all the more special. She put the box away in her drawer and headed to breakfast.

"Where have you been?!" Yugi exclaimed in a harsh whisper as he saw his brother open the door slowly and sneak into the shop. "I tried calling you and you didn't answer your phone."

"Sorry. My battery died and I forgot to charge my phone."

"Well hurry up and get to the room before anyone else sees you. Mom and Grandpa are having breakfast right now and if they see that you snuck out and spend the night out of the house, they're gonna freak!"

"Wait, they don't know yet?" Atem asked bewildered.

"No! I had to tell them that you had a stomach ache so they wouldn't insist coming to wake you up. I even had to kick Mom out of the room because she wanted to come and give you a pill for your so-called sickness with the excuse that I needed to change and told her I would give it to you."

"Thank you so much Yugi. You have no idea how much I appreciate it brother."

"Oh no, don't you get all mushy with me, because now you owe me big time." Yugi said with a smirk. Atem scoffed, but smiled at his supposedly innocent little brother act so devious.

"Now come on, let's go to the room before we both get in trouble." As the twins sneaked past the kitchen and headed towards their room, Yugi was snickering and teasing his brother on how he was his night with Mana was, having already suspected from the beginning that must have been where his brother had went. Atem had blushed in embarrassment and brushed it off.

Welp, there you have it. Hope you guys liked it. This is the first part of my Holiday special fanfic. I kinda wanted to make this more into a short story with a couple of chapters, but due to the time and life in general bring too complicated, I didn't really have time. Also, it was kinda hard to get into the Christmas spirit this year with everything that's been happening. But I hope you guys enjoy this little Christmas treat. Ay least I'm not too late this time since it's technically still Christmas. Might release the second part sometime this week or next week before New Years Eve if possible. Will release the final part on New Years Eve or New Years Day.
