A/N: Welcome to the second chapter of Dragon's Chronicle last chapter I mostly just summarized major plot points of Dragon Ball, but this chapter we will step into Dragon Ball Z where there will be further changes but you will have to read to find out more.

Dragon's Chronicle Chapter II
Age 761 October 12th.
A Loud crash coming from the kitchen woke both Goku and Krillin, "What the..." Goku groaned as she swung her legs from the bed quickly grabbing her house coat, she was joined within moments by her husband who also grabbed his house coat.
"Wonder what they broke" Krillen sighed.
"Do you really want to know" Goku laughed as she went to see what broke, Krillen sighed once more before following his wife. As Goku walked out into the Kitchen she couldn't help but laugh as before her was both her children were covered in flour along with the floor around them, they had attempted to get the container of flour from the shelf above the pantry and it had fallen and broke open.
His wife's laughter was the last thing Krillin had expected when he walked into the Kitchen to see the entire thing covered in flour, "May... I... ask... what you two are doing" Goku asked though her laughter.
Both kids looked at their mother and father in slight embarrassment, "We were trying to make breakfast and we wanted to make pancakes" Appla said with her head low.
Goku felt bad for laughing and walked forward to wipe some flour off Appla's face with her sleeve, "I'm sorry for laughing sweetie I shouldn't have it was very thoughtful for you to think of making breakfast so why dont you two go get cleaned up and you're father and I will clean this flour up and we will go out for breakfast before the party at Capsule Corp."
Both Gohan and Appla smiled brightly, "Thanks, mom!" the twins said in unison before running to get cleaned off tracking flour along with them.
Goku sighed, "That's a lot of flour" Krillin said with a whistle as he walked up to stand near his slightly taller wife.
"Thanks for that..." Goku sighed once more, "now if you have any idea's on how to clean this up that wont take all day that would be helpful."
"Dragon Balls" the bald man joked earning a groan from Goku, "Okay that's out..." he laughed before grabbing the broom, "Ill get the floor, you get the counter?"
"Okay, I bet I can get my part clean first" Goku taunted earning a playful glare from her husband.
"You're on!" with that the couple began to clean the spilled flour up, and within minutes Krillin had won their little bet. "So what do I get for winning?" Krillin asked his dejected looking wife.
"You've been training without me" Goku whined, "I thought we agreed we would train with the kids?" Goku was now glaring at her husband making the shorter man feel a little nervous.
"Now Goku, Yamcha wanted me to help show his students what two Ki users could do" Krillin responded hastily waving his hands in front of his face hoping desperately that Goku would believe him. Goku stared harder at her husband, but Gohan and Appla reentering the room postponed the tongue lashing Krillin was about to receive.
Gohan was dressed in a pair a blue shorts and a red shirt, while his sister had dressed in a bright pink sundress contrasting her jet black hair that she had tried to pull into a pony tail leaving the top spiky. "Oh looks like the clean up took longer than expected you're father and I still need to get ready" Goku said with a smile as she saw her children.
"Its okay mom" Gohan smiled.
After hugging both her children Goku went to get ready leaving Krillin thanking Kami for the timing of his children before following his wife, giving Appla a kiss on the head and ruffling Gohan's hair as he passed.
Not long later the Son family had finished their breakfast and were standing in front of Capsule Corp with Goku knocking on the door, moments later an elderly man answered the door. "Oh Lady Goku its great to see you again" the man said with a smile.
"Its good to see you too Jennings, still don't want to drop the lady I see" Goku laughed.
"Ti's part of the job i was told to treat you as one of the family and I intend to do so" the elderly man said with gusto.
"I thought so" Goku said with a sigh.
"As much as id love to stay here and talk, but Lady Bulma asked me escort you to the courtyard when you got here" Goku nodded in a agreement before following the man into the courtyard.
"Goku, Krillin you're late!" Bulma announced as she saw the couple.
Goku smiled brightly when she saw her adopted sister, "Sorry Bulma we had a messy incident this morning." Goku said with a small chuckle before looking around to see all of their friends, Yamcha was playing with the now five year old Chicha his daughter with Chichi under the watchful eye of her overly protective mother. Tien and Chiaotzu were talking with Grandpa Gohan and Master Roshi. "Kids why dont you go play with uncle Yamcha and Chicha" Goku said kneeling down to look her kids in the eye, "remember to be gentle you two are really strong for your age and you dont want to hurt Chicha" she said with a serious tone earning a nod from both of the twins "Okay have fun!" Goku exclaimed.
The party was going on without a hitch when all who could sensed two very powerful energy's coming their way, "What is that?" Yamcha exclaimed, "That cant be Piccolo right?" fear creeping over him slightly remembering the battle the monster had with Goku.
"No, I don't recognize this energy." Goku responded looking down, she was thankful she had decided to wear her gi in case she wanted to spar with Yamcha or Tien. Goku was about to tell Bulma to take the kids inside when the people who bore the great power descended into the courtyard.
"So is she down there? You said you would recognize her right away" the small with short pointy hair asked as he hovered about 6 feet off the ground, they both wore similar armour.
"Yes she is indeed, Kakarot step forward your brother has arrived to return you to you're people" The taller man with hair like a hedgehog said with a flourish of his arms. When no one moved the alien began to get aggravated, and landed before Goku "Why do you ignore you're brother Kakarot?"
Goku swallowed deeply she had dreaded something like this would happen ever since Grandpa Gohan told her how he found her not long after he had been revived, "My name is Goku" the raven haired woman said sternly as she stood tall and attempted to stare her so called brother in the eye it being hard due to the height difference.
"Whatever you call yourself it does not change my task here, I am Raditz the son of Bardock you're older brother and I am here to recruit you and any other powerful fighters into the Saiyan military." Raditz postured more not impressing Goku at all, 'this guy has power but is he really this idiotic? Its has to be some form of front.'
"And if we were to refuse?" Tien questioned while cracking his neck.
"We would kill all but the two Sayian children over there" he the shorter Sayian said pointing at Gohan and Appla their tails easily confirming their heritage, "at that age it wouldn't take long for them to accustom to our way of life even if they are half breeds." Krillin moved between the small Sayian and his children, "you think you could stop me baldy?"
"You threaten my kids again and you bet you're ass I will" Krillen growled.
"There is no need for that Cabba" Raditz said calmly stepping between the smaller Sayian and Krillin, but before anyone could blink Raditz had both Gohan and Appla in either hand.
"Gohan, Appla!" Goku and Krillin yelled in unison as they charged Raditz Krillin being batted away by Cabba and Goku being kicked away by her brother. Tien and Yamcha both attempted to help the two children only to be dispatched just as fast.
Now that all the Z fighters were unconscious Raditz turned to Bulma, "Blue haired woman you will tell them to find us if they wish to see the children again" Raditz said while lifting both unconscious children into the air before flying off with Cabba in toe.
Bulma was stunned those two had wiped the floor with all of earth's strongest fighters in mere seconds, "Hmpf they didnt even last long enough to see what those two could really do." a gruff voice announced gaining all conscious attention Piccolo was sitting on the roof of a near by building.
"And what do you want Piccolo if you cant see were a little busy" Bulma growled seeming to be the only one not fazed by Piccolo's presence. Piccolo ignored the comment and preceded to wake everyone present.
Before anyone else could ask why he was there Piccolo spoke, "I'm here as a favour to Kami, I am to help you idiots defeat the Sayian's in return he said he would help me get strong enough to beat Goku."
The Z fighters were stunned by this revolution, "In this situation we need all the help we can get." Goku said while standing, "If you still need to recover stay I'm going to get my children" Goku said as she took to the air. Krillin followed his wife without hesitation, Yamcha Tien and Piccolo all trailed behind the angry couple.
It did not take long for the Z Fighters and Piccolo to reach where the Sayian's had landed their large craft, neither Goku or Krillin could see their children however Raditz and Cabba were standing in front of their spaceship. "So you came sister of mine, and you brought the other fighters with you, good."
"We are here for Gohan and Appla and that is all if you give them back unharmed we will not have to fight" Goku tried to reason.
"That would be hard as we are here to test you aswell" Raditz said with a shrug, "Plus you are all ready to kill us but you have yet to let us explain why we need more fighters" Raditz said with slight irritation. "We are not here to conquer you" his previous bravado completely gone now an air of seriousness now emanated from the sayian.
"Coming from the man who kidnapped his own niece and nephew" Goku said slipping into her stance.
"Come now I had defuse the situation Cabba was about to kill you're mate after all" Raditz shrugged once more. Noting this did nothing for the situation at hand Raditz placed a hand on his face in frustration. "I keep telling his majesty I'm no good at diplomatic mission's I'm a warrior after all" Raditz said with a sigh.
"Then give Gohan and Appla back" Goku growled.
"I never actually took them they are back on the roof of the building we met in" Raditz said with a smirk, "we just needed to get you out here and ready for a fight."
Goku was in disbelief had they been so angry they didnt notice, Goku extended her scenes to their limit allowing her to feel the powers of her children and they were indeed back at Capsule Corp. "It seems he's telling the truth, so now that were here and ready for a fight as you say it continue you're recruitment pitch." Goku was aggravated at being duped but at the same time she felt relief knowing her children were in no danger.
"We have been sent out by our king to find strong fighters to join the war against the man who destroyed the Sayian's home planet, though I can explain more about that later" Raditz explained, "Cabba and I came to this planet because of a message from our parents telling me what planet you were sent to."
"What does this have to do with our planet" Tien asked not liking the idea of being some alien kings mercenary he had been there once and never wanted to be again.
"Frieza, the man who destroyed our planet is a planet merchant and will undoubtedly come to this part of the galaxy for new product you're planet is just waiting to be life wiped and sold to the highest bidder." Raditz responded.
"And if we join you, you will provide protection" Yamcha spoke up gaining everyone's attention.
"Essentially, there are other perks like technology sharing and trade but protection is part of..." Raditz was cut off by his scouter.
"Commander Raditz, come in Commander" echoed through the area.
"Reporting" Raditz responded by clicking a button on the device on his face.
"Our sensors have detected that the Crusher Corps are heading you're way with that bastard Turles you have orders to finish you're mission and return asap that planet might as well be dead" the voice announced shocking the earthlings.
Raditz noticed the response of the people he was to recruit he could tell they would never leave their planet to be destroyed, sighing he ignored the need to respond for a moment as he thought the situation over. "How long till they get here?" he asked simply pressing the button again.
"Six months at current speed" Raditz cursed under his breath with that time period he couldn't even use the treaty to get reinforcements to defend this planet
"We are having computer issue's we will need about that to repair them" Raditz responded with fake annoyance.
"Ill inform the king" the man responded not really believing what Raditz said before cutting the com.
Raditz growled as he ran his hand through his hair, "Not that I mind fighting Frieza's men but did we just ignore an order?" Cabba asked looking to his superior.
"Yes we are going to help this planet fight off the Crusher Corps, In return you all will join us" Raditz said while turning to his sister.
Goku figured that was where this was going, "By your response to that new's you don't think we could beat them on our own?"
"The Crusher Corps were a group a space pirates led by a Sayian named Turles, about three years ago they were captured by The Frieza Force. Frieza's personal army, and adopted into their ranks with Frieza placing two of his most trusted men in charge of the pirates, They all have powers at least ten times what any of you have currently but with help from Cabba and I we can help bridge the gap if you're willing to train with us otherwise we must leave you to defend you're planet you're self." It took a moment for the Z Fighters to absorb all the info they had been given in the short amount of time they had know this man.
"We don't have much of a choice so I'm in" Tien said casually.
"Me too got a family to protect now" Yamcha smiled.
Goku and Krillin looked at each before silently agreeing, "We will also join" Goku added with Krillin nodding in agreement.
Piccolo looked at the people around him he did not think he could stand training with these people, "Ill train on my own you can join these two if you want," 'plus i have a favour to cash in' Piccolo thought as he flew away.
Raditz stared at the Namekian as he flew away, "Whats with the Namekian?"
"You mean Piccolo he was only here because he was bribed" Krillen responded offhandedly, "wait what is a Namekian?"
Raditz looked at the short bald man with exasperation, "do you not know of any other race in this galaxy?"
"Till a few years ago I didnt know aliens existed, though at the same time we didnt know what planet or race Goku was till now" Krillin answered.
Raditz suddenly felt this was going to be much harder than he thought, "Namekian's are a race of a-sexual beings that joined an alliance with the Saiyan empire from the planet Namek not sure how he got here though."
Cabba was getting impatient and spoke up, "We will begin our training tomorrow, you should probably go get things you will need for six months of training we don't have time for all these questions, Raditz and I need to plan a training regime to get you guy's into shape if a quarter of the time we'd have normally."
"I think these fighters will prove to grow much quicker than you expect" an elderly voice announced, everyone looked up to see Kami floating towards the group.
"Oh look another Namekian" Cabba exclaimed exasperated.
"If you wouldn't mind I would like to talk to you about that in return ill help you devise a plan after all I know how each trains best." Kami bargained.
"We'll see what you have to offer old man" Raditz responded, "See you tomorrow at sunrise" he said while looking directly at Goku, 'She really does look like mom.'
"Okay." Goku responded almost sadly before taking to the skies followed by the rest of the Z Fighters toward Capsule Corp. After a few long minutes Capsule Corp was insight and with a burst of speed Goku landed quickly near her children pulling them into a bone crushing hug with tears , "Appla, Gohan I so happy you're okay."
"Were fine mom" Gohan said trying to comfort his mom.
"Yeah we woke up not long after you left" Appla added.
Goku broke the hug to look at her children, "You two have been very brave but you need to go inside Dad and I need to talk to Aunty Bulma about some grown up stuff." both Son children seemed like they wanted to argue but they knew better than to argue with their mother.
"Come on we'll get you all a snack" Chichi announced with Chicha following her, Gohan and Appla reluctantly followed Chichi looking back at their smiling mother both able to tell there was something wrong.
"Whats going on?" Bulma questioned simply.
"That's a long story" Krillin responded with a halfhearted laugh, Goku and Krillin went on to inform Bulma about what had gone on with Goku's long lost brother.
"So there is a troop of space pirates coming to kill everyone and your brother is going to help everyone fight these pirates?" Bulma asked making sure she understood everything.
"Yeah, that means Krillin and I will need to go train with Raditz and Cabba for the next six months" Goku continued solemnly, "Bulma would you mind taking care of Gohan and Appla? We cant look after them properly while training."
Bulma was surprised by this Goku had been reluctant to leave her children for any period of time up until now, "I have no problem with it but are you okay with it?"
"Not at all but I will have to concentrate, and I have a feeling this training ground will be no place for children" Goku responded while tightening the sash around her waist.
"Yeah Goku's right we need to be able to train without worrying about if they might get hurt plus there is no one we trust more" Krillin laughed with the end of his statement rubbing the back of his bald head.
By this time Yamcha had followed Chichi inside to spend as much time as possible with his family before the morning, and Tien had gathered Chiaotzu and left to gather his supplies for the training. "Goku, Krillin you two head inside and spend time with your kids and ill gather any supplies you two will need" Bulma announced surprising the couple. "Plus I think I might have a new invention that will make the prefect gift to make your training easier ill have it all ready by sun rise." with that Bulma gave Goku a hug before retreating to her lab.
Goku and Krillin stood stunned for a few short moments, "She always does that leaving before I have a chance to thank her" Goku grumbled before leading her husband into Capsule Corp to find their children.
The next morning Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien stood before Raditz, Cabba, and Kami on the lookout waiting for instructions. Raditz paced back and forth before stopping in front of Krillen, "Today were going to test you're limits so we can see how best to push them." Raditz began while looking directly at the short bald man, 'Ill see if you're worthy of my sister now shorty' he thought with mirth. "Power up to you're maximum and ill set a benchmark power level" Raditz said while beginning to pace again stopping in front of Tien this time, "You will start."
"Whatever" Tien responded before stepping into an open area to power up, with a bit of struggle and a short yell Tien was at full power.
Raditz pressed the button on his scouter bringing the numbers on the device to life, 1045 not bad... but as I thought we have a lot of work to do, last time I checked the Crusher Corps have an average power level of 18 000 but their leader's are closer to my own power at 40 000" this surprised everyone save Kami.
"Next is you baldy" Cabba growled as he pointed at Krillin, Krillin ignored the comment about his lack of hair and stepped forward to power up. After a short yell from Krillin Raditz Pressed the button on his scouter.
"700?" Raditz seemed surprised by this he had the feeling that this man was the strongest among the Human's, was his feeling wrong?
"Oh whoops one sek" Krillin said slightly embarrassed before removing his weighted clothing a total of 300 pounds, "Try again" Krillin said with a smile.
"1350, better.." Raditz said slightly bored.
"Ill go next" Yamcha said stepping forward with a grin, his weighted clothing already removed.
Clicking the button once more Yamcha's power appeared, "1000" Raditz said with a shrug causing Yamcha to sadly walk back to the group.
Goku stepped forward to have her power read while thanking Kami for the gadget Bulma had given her allowing her to adjust her weighted cloths so she wouldn't have to strip mid battle despite Bulma saying it would probably make for a great distraction in a fight. Pressing the button for the last time Raditz saw something he wasn't expecting, Goku was weaker than her mate 'could it be she is more like mom when it comes to fighting?' he thought before announcing his sisters power level "1300."
The tension in the area instantly thickened as Goku turned to her husband, "Just showing Yamcha's students my ass" she growled as she stood next to her husband.
Krillin felt a shiver run down his spine at his wife's words, this made Raditz smile 'there goes that worry.' he thought before speaking to his new students once more, "But do not worry about the gap in power with the potential I'm told you have all you need is something to strive for plus I'm told here on this lookout there is a room where we can have a years worth of training in just a day," both Krillin and Goku blanched. "Though I'm told it may be tougher but we will all be entering together so both Cabba and I can observe your training, We will also be being joined by Piccolo as Kami cannot enter himself" Raditz explained as the Namekian walked into view. "Prepare yourselves we enter the room in five." Raditz finished as he turned to grab his own supplies.
Goku tried to gather herself as she knew what it was like in the Room of Spirit and Time, grabbing her bag Goku stood with a sigh.
"Not so fast I'm joining too cant be letting these jokers get stronger than me" a deep somewhat gruff voice announced, Goku and Krillin almost instantly recognized the voice and turned quickly to see a muscular man about 5'5 with crazy black hair that was pulled into a single pony tail wearing a orange Kimono with a Katana on his hip.
Goku could not believe her eye's the man standing before her was indeed her and Krillin's old friend Yanjirobe but the weight he lost made him look completely different, "Yanjirobe!?" she exclaimed.
Yanjirobe smirked at her response taking a moment to inwardly gloat rubbing his nose to try and hide his smirk, "The one and only."
"First we have to test you, dont hold anything back or you wont be coming with us." Cabba growled, "We cant be having any dead weight in there we have a very serious mission to prepare for." Yanjirobe shrugged in response before dropping his smirk and dropped into a fighting stance with one hand on the hilt of his sword and the other holding the scabbard, a moment later Yanjirobe was covered in a light blue aura. Cabba grunted as he pushed the button on his scouter, "1250 surprising... next the Namekian." Piccolo grunted before removing his own weighted cloths, once more the numbers whirled to life, "1400 not surprised about that Namekian's are naturally quite strong. Now that that is done lets go." With a nod from Raditz Cabba led the way into the lookout followed closely by Kami and Raditz, Goku paused for a moment watching her friends and husband walk towards the room that would be their home for the next year.
As the group got to the door Kami stopped them to give them a few warnings, "This place will be like nothing you have ever experienced, the room is designed to push the body to the upmost limits based on you're current strength, and whatever you do, do not destroy the exit or you will be locked in there forever." This set everyone waiting on edge, but before anyone could ask anything Kami continued. "Food will be provided for you at regular intervals, and lastly good luck" with Kami's final words the door to The Room of Spirit and Time opened to reveal the void of the room.
A chill ran down Raditz spine at the sight of the room, but not letting it affect him the warrior strode into the room with everyone following behind the long haired Sayian.
