"There's somebody I want you all to meet. He's my intern," Tony explained as he walked towards Pepper and Morgan's general direction.

"Sorry to interrupt, but where exactly are we going?" Rhodey asked on behalf of everyone. If anyone else had interrupted Tony, they were afraid he'd have their heads.

"Oh to get Pep and Morgan. I was supposed to be in a meeting, I guess. I want them to meet the kid too." Natasha smirked.

"Does 'the kid' have a name?" She asked sarcastically. Tony's face lit up.

"Yeah, his name's Peter. Peter Parker. Very hyper," Tony continued walking, "Don't give him caffeine. It's not a good idea. Please take my word for it. He's a genius. Umm... he loves Star Wars. Bruce, I'm pretty sure he's going to faint when he sees you, please don't be alarmed." Tony turned to face Bruce, who looked incredibly confused.

"M- me? Why though?" Tony shrugged.

"The universe will never know the wonders that go on inside that kid's head. He said something about some blah blah blah science or something like that. I don't know, like I said the kid's a genius. He talks about you much more than I'd like. Anyways-"

"TONY STARK WHEN WILL WE MEET THIS PETER CHILD?" Thor asked, in his loud voice. It was a wonder that he hadn't said a word yet. Tony checked his watch. 2:45. And they were right outside the door, perfect timing to get Pep and Morgan.

"The kid'll be here at 3:00. Or maybe earlier. I don't know, sometimes he stops to help people out. Some lady bought him a... oh what was it... a churro! Yeah he helped out some lady and she gave him a churro. He was so excited. But if he comes here straight away... well I'm not sure when he'll come." The rest of the team was exchanging odd glances. Tony recalled that story like it was one with an old friend. Peter was becoming quite the mystery! The door opened, revealing Pepper and Morgan, Morgan on her Stark Pad because Pepper had brought her along to the meeting. Pepper shot Tony an angry glance.

"Oh, come on Pep! It was just one meeting!" She held her glare, but it faltered when she noticed the Avengers standing behind Tony.

"Oh, Steve, Bucky, hello! What are you doing here?" She asked kindly, but sternly. Steve scratched the back of his head and looked at Bucky.

"Well, Tony actually invited us. He brought us here to meet someone? His intern, Peter Parker, he said." Pepper looked at Steve and then Tony with a curious and confused expression.

"Who?"

"You'll meet him soon," Tony assured. Morgan seemed to finally recognize her father's presence.

"Daddy!" She shouted, and ran into Tony's arms.

"Hey Maguna! How was the meeting? It was boring wasn't it? Tell Mommy that you think it was boring and Daddy definitely didn't need to go." Morgan giggled and ran to Pepper to bring her the message. Just then, Tony's phone started ringing.

"Mr. Stark, I realized I didn't know where the movie theater was so I just decided to wait for you outside the lab, I hope that's okay. Is that okay? Well anyways you aren't here and do you want me to meet you somewhere?"

Peter spoke without taking a breath. The kid was so enthusiastic that it made Tony laugh. The team shared confused glances. Who was on the other side of that phone?

"Hey, that's okay kid. You could wait outside the lab for me or you could go to the 28th floor, which is where the theater is. Your choice." Peter was quiet while he contemplated his options.

"Could you come to the lab, Mr. Stark? I swung all the way over here and I just finished my English essay and I don't have the mental capacity to look at the numbers on the elevatorrrr."

Tony laughed even louder. "Yeah kid, just wait at the labs. We're coming to get you."

"We-"

"See ya kid." Tony hung up the phone so that Peter couldn't ask any questions about the slip up. Turning to face the team, Tony's face turned serious.

"If anybody is mean to Peter or makes fun of him then I will have your heads and you will not be welcome at Stark Towers or Industries any longer, you hear me?" Everyone nodded. "Right then! Let's go down to my labs to get the kid."

Why in the world did this kid have clearance to Tony's lab?
