Fairy Tale kept traveling from one place to another, one state to the next. Where are they now? They're in the wild west state of the great big Texas.
"Yeeha! Giddy up, cowfolks!" Natsu said.
"Chill, Natsu. We're in Texas, but that doesn't mean we're in the time of cowboys." Gray said.
"Levy, where are we heading in Texas anyway? Where's our next performance?" Lucy asked.
"It's in Paris." Levy said.
"Paris?!" Natsu said. "I thought we were in Texas, not France. How did we even get to France?"
"We're not in France. We're in Texas." Levy said. "Texas has a city named Paris too. Sorry if you had any ideas to find love in that Paris, but we're not in the same Paris."
"Well, you could. It's possible." Lucy said.
"I'll tell you what I would love." Gajeel said as he came out from the back. "I would love it if Erza would just hang up on the phone already! She's been chatting with Jellal on the phone for a long time. She just won't shut up!"
"Come on, Gajeel. They're trying to make a relationship work." Lucy said. "I think it's sweet they're willing to put in this sort of effort to make it work."
"Oh yeah? Listen." Gajeel said as he opened the door for them to hear Erza.
"No, you hang up. No, you hang up. No, you hang up." Erza said as she was acting all giddy. Gajeel closed the door so they wouldn't hear that.
"She's actually doing that? He's actually going with it?" Gray said.
"For the past ten minutes." Gajeel said. "I've got half a mind to take that phone and toss it out the window so they actually can hang up."
"It does get annoying. Why do people act like idiots when they're in relationships?" Gray said.
"Spoken like someone that's never been in love." Lucy said.
"Time to get the act together." Levy said. "We're pulling into Paris. We'll have a few hours before we have to go on. So do what you like and be careful of your fans. I'm going to head to the stage to make sure everything is good to go." They pulled into Paris, Texas, but didn't know they were going to find.
...
Natsu and Lucy
Natsu and Lucy had a look around the city. It seemed like a great place even if it wasn't the more famous Paris.
"Check it out. They even have their own Eiffel Tower." Natsu said. He pointed to a structure that looked like the Eiffel Tower, but it had a cowboy hat on top of it. Lucy laughed in amusement from seeing that.
"Come on. Grad a photo." Lucy said as she stood in front of the structure. Natsu took out his phone and snagged a photo of her with the tower in it.
"Look, dear. It's the tower." Natsu looked next to him and saw an elderly couple. "It warms my heart to see it's still hear. I hope the love rumor is still going and many people are with their loved one."
"Me too." The old man said.
"Excuse me?" Natsu said to talk to them. They just said something that caught his interest. "What's this love rumor you were talking about?"
"It's so sweet." The old lady said. "If you kiss the person you love at this tower when it's sunset, you'll be together forever."
"I kissed a close friend of mine here, before we even started dating, and we've been married for forty years." The old man said as he held his wife's hand. That sounds exactly what Natsu needs. As he looked to Lucy and the tower, he knew what to do. If he wants to be with Lucy forever, he has to kiss her at sunset at this tower.

Levy
Levy was at the stage and was making sure everything was going well for when the band has to perform. As she was making sure everything was going good, she saw Gajeel came storming in and he didn't look happy.
"Gajeel, over here!" Levy called. Gajeel came right over and Levy stood on the stage and was over him. "Is everything okay?"
"Erza is still on the bus and is driving me nuts." Gajeel said. "She's still on the phone with Jellal and neither of them will just shut up."
"Wow. She must really be into Jellal." Levy said.
"Gray was right. Why do people act like idiots when they're in love?" Gajeel said.
"Things are just different when they're in love." Levy said. "I'm guessing you never found the right girl for you."
"How would I even know something like that?" Gajeel said.
"You would get some sort of sign or see things others can't." Levy said. "Maybe something like a shining light from heaven will shine on the one you should be with."
"That's stupid." Gajeel said.
"All I'm saying is that the one for you is out there." Levy said. "She might even be right in front of you and you never knew." As soon as she said that, a light shined from right behind her and she didn't seem to notice. Gajeel did and it was weird. It was just like Levy said.
"Hey! Got this light looking!" A better look showed it was just a guy working on one of the lights. Still, that was weird to Gajeel.
...
Gray
Gray was just roaming around by himself. He thought those things of love were a little ridiculous. He just doesn't think people need to sound like idiots when they're in love.
"I'm actually glad this isn't Paris, France." Gray said. "If we were there, I probably never hear the end of all this talk from lovesick morons." Gray just kept walking until something fell and hit him in the head and he ended up getting wet. "Ow!" Gray looked and saw it was a watering can. "What the heck?"
"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" He looked to see a blue-haired girl come running his way. "I am so sorry. I was watering the plants in my apartment's window and the watering can slipped out of my hands."
"It's fine. I..." Gray felt dizzy and nearly fell over, but the girl caught him. The girl helped Gray up to her apartment and treated his head injury.
"You're not bleeding, but I think it will leave a bruise." The girl said.
"Thanks..." Gray said, but he didn't really the girl's name.
"I'm Juvia."
"Juvia? That's an interesting name." Gray said.
"Thank you and I'm sorry again." Juvia said.
"It's cool. It was just an accident. I'm Gray by the way."
"I actually figured out who you are." Juvia said as she was getting excited. "It took me a moment, but when I brought you inside, I figured out you're in Fairy Tale."
"Oh... You're a fan?" Gray said.
"Of course I'm a fan!" Juvia said. "I can't believe I actually have Gray Fullbuster here in my apartment!"
"Good for both of us. Most of our fans get excited by seeing Natsu more than the rest of the band." Gray said.
"Natsu? He might be cool and everything, but I always thought you were the real eye-candy of the band. You look so much more handsome than him." Juvia said. She realized what she was saying and blushed in embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I'm just getting a little excited."
"It's fine. I should get going anyway." Gray said as he stood up, but felt a little dizzy.
"Careful." Juvia said as she had him sit back down. "You should take it easy with that head injury. I'll get you an ice pack." Juvia got up and went to get one. Gray's not sure what he's getting into, but he couldn't see the harm in it.
...
Natsu and Lucy
Natsu and Lucy were still around the tower and got a good look at it.
"Might not be as big as the real Eiffel Tower, but it's still fun to look at." Lucy said. "Too bad we're probably not allowed to go on it. So what else should we check out?"
"Uh... What do you mean? Where else is there really to go?" Natsu asked. What he was really trying to do was keep Lucy here until sunset so that he might be able to kiss her and have it se so that they'll be together forever.
"Natsu, I'm sure there are other things to do around here." Lucy said.
"Maybe, but the Eiffel Tower is the greatest landmark in Paris, the best sight around." Natsu said.
"Maybe back in France, but this is Texas." Lucy said. "Besides, even if we were in that Paris, there would be a whole lot more to see than just the tower. Let's go have a look around."
"No!" Natsu said. "I mean...maybe we should climb on it. We might be able to see a lot from on it." Lucy took a good look at the tower's height and highly doubted it.
"Natsu, I'm not going to risk getting into trouble just to see so little." Lucy said. "What's going on? We've got to leave if we're going to make it for our concert." Natsu didn't even think about that. Sunset is a couple hours away, but they have to perform much sooner. "Come on." She grabbed his hand and pulled him away. "Let's go and try to have fun." Natsu's not sure how much fun he can have if he won't be able to set his future.
...
Gajeel
"That's looking good!" Levy called out as the stage was just about set. All Gajeel did was hang out next to the stage. "You know, you actually could help out around here."
"No thanks. You're doing a great job." Gajeel said just to annoy Levy.
"Watch out!" Somehow, a rope snapped and a sandbag was falling. It nearly hit Levy. She got spooked by it that she backed away and she was falling off the stage. Gajeel acted quickly and was able to catch her.
"You okay?" Gajeel asked.
"I think so. Nice catch." Levy said. Gajeel helped her back on the stage and didn't seem like she got was hurt. "Looks like I have my own little knight in shining armor."
"Don't call me that!" Gajeel said.
"Too bad. A girl would love to have one." Levy said. That's right when a light shined on her again. He thought she was looking good, but Gajeel acted smart this time and looked behind her to see someone was still working with the lights.
"Can't they work on those lights somewhere else?!" Gajeel said, but he felt something was off. Just looking at Levy was getting his heart going. He didn't quite get it.
...
Gray
Gray just stuck around with Juvia. His head was starting to feel better, but he still stuck around at her apartment.
"Here's some tea." Juvia said as she handed a cup.
"Thanks." Gray said as he had some. "I'm grateful for the hospitality, but my head is feeling a lot better. I also got to be somewhere. I doubt your parents are really going to like you being alone with a boy."
"You don't need to worry about that." Juvia said as she sat next to him. "My parents are always working a lot. They're hardly ever home. So I'm usually here by myself."
"Really? What about your friends?" Gray said.
"I don't really have many friends. I'm usually by myself, but I've gotten use to it." Juvia said. Gray could see otherwise. She might be smiling, but it's a weak one and he could tell it was different with her eyes. He actually felt really bad for her. After spending some time at her apartment, he's gotten to know her a little.
"Listen... I'm sorry, but I really do need to go. I've got meet up with the rest of the band because we got a concert going on." Gray said.
"Right... I don't want to keep you." Juvia said.
"Thanks again." Gray said as he got up and left her in that apartment. Juvia didn't want to selfishly want him to stay, but she noticed he left something. It was a card and it had a set of numbers with the message "Call me". Juvia couldn't believe it. Gray really left his number for her?!

The Concert
The time of the concert drew closer and closer and people were looking forward to it. Erza finally got off the bus and made it to the stage, but she was still on the phone.
"No, you hang up. No, you hang up. No, you..." Erza stopped there as she didn't hear anything from her phone. "I can't believe this!"
"Erza, is something wrong?" Lucy asked.
"Jellal actually hung up on me. Oh! Wait, my phone just lost battery." Erza said. The others just went on ahead and got themselves ready, but Natsu was staring out to the setting sun and Erza spotted a sad look on his face. "Something wrong, Natsu?"
"I heard that if you kiss someone you love at the Eiffel Tower in THIS Paris by sunset, you'll be together forever." Natsu said. "I was hoping that if I was able to with Lucy, but now there's no time."
"I see..." Erza said. "Natsu, do you really need to go through something like that to know you and Lucy will be together forever?" Natsu wasn't sure how to answer that. "It's just a myth, Natsu. I don't know if there's truth to it, but all you really need to know if you'll be with someone forever is to just believe. You don't need to make some legend or myth a reality to know that. Myths and legends like this one are really to boost your belief that it will happen."
"Maybe you're right." Natsu said. "I don't need some myth like that. I just need to believe." Erza was glad to hear that. That was when the curtain rise and the show was on. "Bonjour, Paris, Texas! The sun might be going down, but we're going to make it rise!" They started playing their new song about rising like the sun for something new and exciting and you have the right companion
(Gray)
Waking up to the sky
I can just feel the morning light
(Erza)
The sun rises from the east
We'll be heading to the west
(Natsu)
Time is ticking and we're going
Having you by my side, I feel at home
So let's follow the sun and find some fun
(All)
There's something that makes me rise with the sun
I'm seeing things in a whole new light
Here with you by my side
Everything feels so right
There's just something about the sun
There's just something about the sun
(Gray)
So let's follow the sun
We'll go country-wide
(Erza)
I'll grab my favorite fella
We'll go from New York to California
(Natsu)
Time is ticking, we should get going
The sun is setting and fading
So let's hurry and rise with the sun
(All)
There's something that makes me rise with the sun
I'm seeing things in a whole new light
Here with you by my side
Everything feels so right
There's just something about the sun
There's just something about the sun
There's something that makes me rise with the sun
I'm seeing things in a whole new light
Here with you by my side
Everything feels so right
(Gray)
Now that you're here
(Erza)
Now that you're here
(Gray)
Everything's clear
(Erza)
Everything's clear
(All)
Having you here
I never knew
Everything's just better with you
(Natsu)
Better with you
Ye-ah
(All)
There's something that makes me rise with the sun
I'm seeing things in a whole new light
Here with you by my side
Everything feels so right
There's just something about the sun
There's just something about the sun
There's something that makes me rise with the sun
I'm seeing things in a whole new light
Here with you by my side
Everything feels so right
They played out their song until it finally came to an end and it was a great concert. The curtain dropped and it was another great performance. Turns out going to this Paris was just as fun as the other Paris.
"Nice job, everyone." Levy said. "You all did great. Gajeel, nice job on the drums."
"Thanks." Gajeel said, but as soon as he looked at her, the light was shining again. "Will someone stop with the lights already?!"
"What lights? There's nothing there." Gray said. When he said that, Gajeel looked behind Levy. Nothing was there, but the light was still shining. Looks like Gajeel is starting to see Levy in a different light. Perhaps this could be the city of love as well.
