'Fools! I don't need help from weakling humans!' "HARBINGER!" My ki exploded from my body in a flaming orange aura, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" I directed it up wards melting the steel that weighed me down throwing it up in the air, my body was racked with pain, before the ground gave out below me and I fell into a tunnel, causing me to cut off the flow of ki in surprise, a rocky headed boy with several dozen ground hogs smiled at me shyly while waving. A explosion marked the destruction of the bot. "I... I was doing just..." I held my side, 'Damn it, I broke several of my ribs with Harbinger, I still don't have full control of that old mans technique.' I looked at him and sighed, "I broke a few of my ribs, can... you help?" Swallowing my pride.
He nodded quickly as a siren sounded, before helping me out of the hole with care. Damn it was hard to breath. He laid me on the ground, a ground hog under my head as a pillow as I gritted my teeth, after waiting a few minutes a old woman's voice reached my ears. "My, my, my, what happened to you?" She asked.
"I got stepped on, and not in the fun way." I chuckled, eyes clenched in pain, "Broke a few of my ribs."
"Well let me heal that up for you." I felt a pair of lips kiss my cheek making me recoil a bit. The pain in my chest subsided... but... I opened my eyes and my stomach was growling like a wild animal. "My, my, look like you worked up quite the appetite. Be sure to get some food in you after this." She handed me a candy and walked off, I looked to the other students had a mixture of emotions while they looked at me, some of anger, others of awe, some of relieve. I looked at the boy that had risked his life to save me.
"Thanks... I owe you one." I stood up and left, a human had saved me...
Chapter 3: 1-A
I leaned back in my apartment, a envelope in my hand as opened it, I pulled out a small metal and glass disk, I set it down on my table as it activated. "Young Fuma! I am here!" All Might smiled at me. "Now it has been a while since we have talked. I want to congratulate on getting the highest score in UA history! One hundred and forty nine points, gained by destroying the faux villains." I let out a small smile, of course I would blow that record out of the water, it was only natural for a Saiyan to break beyond the crowds. "How ever I am disappointed to say that your score could have been even higher had you acted more heroically, your actions put many of your fellow examinees in danger on several occasions." He shook his head. "You have much to learn Fuma, and I'm sure that you will grow to be a true hero."
I barely passed the written portion of the exam. 'Damn it... I was sure I had more then that right...' just shrugged as I started to do sit ups, I had much more work to do, my old mans words echoed in my head, 'A true warrior never rest on what was, rather looking forward to what will be. Train your body and mind and you will never lose your fights. No matter how strong your opponent may be.'
My father, a old Saiyan named Rubarge, a large spiky haired fighter turned farmer after he was mortally wounded while in battle, then he met my mother, a Saiyan cook who hunted all of her meat, preferring the wild of the hunt to the chaos of the battle field. Strong in her right. They had me, a pathetically weak Saiyan. 'Oh, you'll join them one day.' They would say as I was forced to stay behind on Planet Vegeta, training, training, training.
'What, this weakling will be a front line fighter? Canon fodder more like! She hasn't even been sent to clear out a uninhabited world, so don't make me laugh!' The others would laugh about me. 'All she will ever be good for is keeping the plate full of meat, and eating our meat! If you get what I mean!'
'Shame that such looks were wasted on one that couldn't beat a Saibaman!' The damn laughter.
'Weakling!'
'Meat girl!'
'Whore!'
I sat up from my sit ups and just cried. I was a weakling...
I walked towards the class room, the grey school uniform roughly thrown on. Standing in front of the door was Izuku. "Oh Fuma, you got into class 1-A as well?" He asked as rolled my eyes. "Congratu…"
"How the hell did you have a power level of over a hundred thousand? My scouter blew up from the sudden burst, but I had read that is was your ki signature." I looked him up and down.
"Eh... what do you... well you see... I finally manifested my Quirk. Though I had broken my arm and legs, when I had used it." He looked away from me, he wasn't telling the full truth, but I didn't care.
"That is a amazing power then. For a Saiyan like me, every time we recover from battle, we get stronger due to Zenkai boasts. My father reached a power level of fifty thousand in his prime. You should be proud to hold a power like that." I said as I reached for the door.
"Wait." he said so I paused just for a moment.
"What happened to your people? Did they not have heroes to fight back?" He asked.
"The Saiyans… we weren't a heroic people." With that I walked into the class, the and the vast differences in quirks made me take a step back, a boy had fleshy tentacles connected by a membrane of skin, a girl resembled a from, a female uniform was just walking around, a boy had a bird head. Bakugo had his feet up on the desk.
"It's the first day and your already disrespecting school property!" A blue haired boy swung his arms in exaggerated gestures. "Tokoyami, don't sit on the desk!" Then his gaze turned to me. "YOUR UNIFORM IS WRINKLED AND MISBUTTONED! You are attending UA high school! You are representing the future of heroes and yet you look like you just rolled out of bed!"
"Eh?" I just tilted my head at him.
"Wait, I remember you. You're the girl that told be to quiet down during the lecture." His glasses sheened. "I am Tenya Iida, of Soho private Middle school."
"Yeah... I'm Fuma." my eye twitched, how had he passed? 'A power level of two hundred and fifty was enough to get in?'
"Fuma…. you have a last name right?" He asked.
"Just Fuma." I said. "Nothing more, nothing less."
"Yeah, she fucking weird." Bakugo said. "So you made it in, or are you just here to see the next number one hero before heading to general studies?" In the month that he and I had trained we had been pretty even, but we had butted heads quite a lot.
"Oh fuck off Bakugo." I rolled my eyes. "I've only gotten stronger since we last spared."
"Yeah, two weeks, how much could you have improved?" He rolled his eyes.
"If your done, take your seats and quiet down." I turned to look at a black haired man in a yellow sleeping bag. We took our seats, I sat next to the boy that had saved me in the arena, Koda. He kindly waved to me, I just nodded as I turned to the front of the class. "Welcome to UA." He took a sip from a juice bag. "You may call me Mr. Aizawa, I am your home room teacher."
'He looks like he hasn't slept in weeks.' I thought. 'Why would they put someone like him in charge of us?'
"I'll be keeping this short and simple, my job is to train you to be pro heroes, so if you think that this will be easy, you are wrong. Now put these on and meet me out side in the training field" He tossed out a pile of blue gym uniforms before stepping out of the sleeping bag.
"Sir what about orientation?" A girl with a round face and brown hair asked.
"If you are more worried about pointless ceremonies and pleasantries then get out of my class, I don't intend on wasting time." He glared at us before exiting the class.
And chapter complete.
