"Well... what do we do if... Freeza shows up here?" He asked.
"Hope he finds this world amusing enough to keep around, or useful to his empire. Other then that... fight till the bitter end." I leaned back.
"What about you? What will you do?" He asked, his green eyes had a determined look to them, he may have been a strange but a strong Saiyan had he been born one.
"I'll do what I can... after all I can't leave now. But they don't stray much further then a two years journey from then center of the empire, they have to make sure that they can move their troops efficiently. So I doubt they'll ever come out this far. Not for a long time at least." I cleaned off the plate and went to refill my glass. "I have a question for you."
"Oh... uh what is it?"
"Can someone who's entire people's race is built upon evil and genocide after genocide be a Hero?" I gulped, knowing that the answer was no, my hands were already stained with blood, I may not have killed, but I had been part of the group responsible.
"Of course, those are the actions of the past not you. Like you said, you have never been part of those missions, so you can build a new meaning for what it is to be a Saiyan." I looked at the bright eyed boy, he... was being honest. "You're not a bad person because of the actions of your ancestors, learn from their mistakes and grow."
I turned away from the boy, a small smile on my face. "Thank you."
Chapter 6: Battle Simulations Part 1
I rolled my shoulders as I walked to UA, I had managed to keep my clothes straight... ish. I arrived and made my way to the classroom. "Morning Fuma." I turned to look at Izuku. He had a large bag thrown over his shoulder. "I can't wait for hero course training. You brought your armor?" He asked.
I shook my bag, the pieces hitting each other. "Only thing I needed was a new scouter. Your little stunt during the entrance exam blew mine up." Nezu had made a schematic of it. Something told me I was going to break a lot of scouters while I was here.
We made our way to class and we sat through the lessons, English class with Present Mic was the hardest for me, the letters seemed to float off the page and mix together. Maths and the few other classes made my head hurt, but anything that had to do with writing just was so much harder. Soon it was time for lunch and I was going to sit with Izuku, who sat with Uraraka and Iida. "Um, Fuma… do you really need that much food?" Tenya asked as I set the two trays down.
"Her quirk causes her to burn through nutrients at a much higher rate." Izuku explained.
"What is the name of your quirk any ways? You clearly have some sort of energy control but why the tail?" Uraraka asked. "It's like you have a mutation and a emitter class quirk."
"My father called his quirk Ki, it allows me to fly, shoot energy blasts and empower my already strong body, my tail is just from my mother. They don't really interfere with each other." I left out my Ozaru form, it wasn't like I was going to be using that form much, if at all, I couldn't even control it. And I never learned how to make a power ball from my father for mid-day transformations. 'It's better to have a clear head in battle.' He would tell me.
"I see, so it's nothing more then extra limb. And you seem to have quite a lot of control over it." Iida said.
"When I was young I would hang upside down from my tail in the barns rafters as I played with my older brother, Celron." I hid my smile behind a bowl as I fondly rembered my older brother, 'He was reported MIA years before planet Vegeta was destroyed... I wonder if he is still alive?'
"What did your family do?" Uraraka asked.
"My father was a retired soldier by the time I was born, serious internal injury, so he took up farming. My mother was a hunter, and my brother followed in my fathers footsteps." It was technically the truth. "My brother was reported missing in action... eight years ago now, and my parents died in a villain attack four years ago."
"Oh, I don't... I can't imagine losing everything like that." Iida said.
"It's fine. I intend on becoming stronger, and being a hero that they can be proud of." I glanced at Izuku who had a wide smile on his face. We finished up lunch and made our way to the class room. Next was Hero Lessons.
Leaning back in my seat next to Izuku I looked around at the other students, a few quirks had me wondering how powerful they were, Kaminari's electrification Quirk absolutely terrified me at it's potential, Yaoyoraozu's creation quirk is handy yet I felt like it required a lot of information to be called at once for it to be effective, she seemed to handle it just fine. Todoroki and Bakugo had the two strongest quirks in destructive capability from what I could see. Izuku, Kirishima and Sato all had really straight forward quirks that enhanced their bodies in their own ways, Sato's sugar rush was by far the weakest with the greatest draw back with losing mental functions. I still failed to see the strength in Jiro's Earphone jacks.
But they had no clue just what I could do with my Ki. "Izuku." I looked over at the green haired boy.
"Uh, oh what is it Fuma?" He asked as he closed his note book.
"Who do you think is teaching the Hero lessons? It would be some sort of combat hero right?" He scratched at his chin and began mumbling.
"Well,thatwouldmakesense,butitcouldjustaseasilybearescuehero,orpossiblynotevenahero..." I blinked twice as I pinched his face, pulling his cheek out.
"The options are who are part of UA's staff and hasn't already taught us classes." I said before I got my answer at the front of the class.
"I AM HERE! ENTERING THE ROOM LIKE A HERO!" All Might announced, his bright red and blue hero costume sparking awe among the rest of the students.
"It's his silver age costume, I don't think he's worn that in years."
"It's really him! All Might!"
"Look at him, he's amazing!"
"Settle down class, I am here to teach you what it means to be a hero, as well as the basics." His sheer size was putting a few Saiyan warriors to shame. "In a way a the Hero 101."
"So what are we doing?" I sat forward, 'Please be sparing, I need a fight.'
"WE WILL BE DOING BATTLE TRAINING!" He thrust forward a small card.
And this chapter is done.
