Sesshomaru's POV

I watched the sunlight filter in through the caves entrance. I couldn't sleep at all, the events of last night kept running through my head. I glanced over at her still form curled up under my furs and couldn't help but growl in approval, she would be covered in my scent. I glanced over at the cave entrance and sighed. I had to train her quickly.

"Sesshomaru?"

I looked glanced over at her and sighed, her eyes were barely open and her voice was still thick with sleep. "You're up early."

She blinked up at me then over at the sunny cave entrance and scowled. "I don't want to be up early."

I shook my head and tried not to smile. "It's good you're up, we must be going."

She sat up facing me "Going?"

I nodded my eyes immediately going to the choker I gave her last night. I had carried it with me for centuries until I could find myself a worthy female to wear it. Seeing it wrapped around her throat made my inner demon growl at me to tell her everything. I shook my head and looked into her alluring dark eyes. "Yes, we will be training in my territory."

She stretched her arms above her and yawned. "I thought we were already in your territory."

I nodded. "Yes, but it will be easier at my estate."

She blinked and her arms dropped. One of her hands lifted and started playing gently with the golden pendent at her throat. "Sesshomaru?"

I tensed at her voice. "Yes?"

She sighed and dropped her hand. "C-can I ask you something."

I looked away from her our bond vibrating in anticipation. "You may."

"I know you told me the other night but I...I may have fallen asleep before you could finish your explanation...What is-"

"Lord Sesshomaru!" I looked over at the cave entrance and growled. It seemed Idris had gone back to my estate to inform Jaken of our arrival.

I heard Kagome sigh on the other side of the cave and looked over at her. She deserved the whole story. "Kagome."

She looked over at me her eyes wide. "Y-yes?"

I walked over to her and knelt down in front of her. "I will tell you everything when we're alone." I watched as her cheeks turned pink and smirked.

"Lord Sesshomaru! I knew it! I knew you wouldn't leave me with that infernal child for-" Jaken froze at the cave entrance staring at us. "Forgive me, Mi Lord I wasn't aware you had company."

I growled and stood up. "Jaken. Go wait outside."

Jaken bowed. "Yes, mi Lord!" He turned to leave but his eyes fell on Kagome and he froze. "Uh, Forgive me Mi Lord but isn't that Inuyasha's human girl?"

before I could kick him out of the cave myself Kagome stood up and glared at him. "Do I smell human to you Jaken?"

Jaken took a few steps closer and sniffed her closely. He looked up at me. "Lord Sesshomaru?"

I sighed. "I will explain on the way to the estate Jaken."
