I was walking out of UA alone when Deku ran up to me. "Fuma wait up." I stopped and turned to look at him.
"Hey Deku. You need something?" I asked.
"Well since you live alone, I was wondering if you wanted to have supper at my place, my mother won't mind." He said, "It must get really lonely being alone like that." He had a blush on his face again.
'Is this something that happens to humans often? None of the others get flustered like that? Right?' "Sure, I'd enjoy that." I smiled.
Chapter 10: A dinner with the Midoriya's
I walked along side Deku, a light breeze ruffling my hair. He had been silent for a few minutes. "So what's your family like?" I asked the green haired boy.
"Oh, well my mom is really nice, she raised me while on her own because my father is always away for work. My father is a hard working man but I don't see him much. What were your parents like?" He asked.
"My father was rather more peaceful for... well you know my people, because of his injury. He was also very kind hearted despite what he did in his youth. 'Never cause misery,' wasn't a popular method for the soldiers he worked with. My mother didn't care for tales of war and bloodshed, but she enjoyed cooking and hunting she and I ran the village's tavern in the night. During the day I would help my father in the fields and train with him. Celron from what I can remember... he never took to my fathers lessons, I'm afraid that may have gotten him hurt or worse." I said as I held onto my arm, "Without him I became the joke of the town, a power level of four hundred by ten years of age with active training. Even now I would only be considered a low class warrior if that."
"Well your possibly one of the strongest people I've ever met." He said as he ran a hand through his dark green hair.
"Thank you Izuku. That... that means a lot." I punched his shoulder. "But you are even stronger then our King, over a hundred thousand with out drawing on your Ki. I would be lying to say that I wasn't a bit jealous, but why do you only use it on one part of your body? Even with my power level if I did that I would destroy that part of my body." I said.
"Wait, your right I shouldn't be doing that, it's like a knife, putting all the pressure in one place will of course dome more, but my body isn't built like that." He went into a mumbling tirade.
"Izuku." I called his name. "Izuku." Nothing. I slapped the back of his head.
"Oh, sorry. It's a old habit." He rubbed where I hit him.
"It's fine." I chuckled as we turned into his apartments parking lot. We quickly made our way up to the door. He sighed before saying, "It's fine." He opened the door. "Mom, I'm home. My friend is here with me as well."
"I'm in the kitchen Izuku." She called from another room as I stepped into the house, it was more decorated then mine. And it felt warmer, more like a home then just where you lived. I took off my shoes. I looked up as her foot steps came over. "I'm so glad to... meet you." She had the same green hair as Izuku only long and straight, she was on the heavier side, but she seemed healthy, nothing a good routine wouldn't change. "Izuku, you never said your friend was a girl." And once again his face turned bright red.
"Hello, I am Fuma." I introduced myself with a slight bow.
"Come in and sit down, supper is nearly done. Izuku can you help me with the dishes." I sat a table as they got the food, The large plates of food were set down. "Izuku told me about your quirk, and how it makes it so that you have to eat more." She said as she sat down. "He told me about how you lost your family, I'm so sorry that they were taken from you. Villains only think about themselves. And I want to thank you for your military families service." She didn't know what it would have meant had they arrived on earth.
"Thank you, life hasn't been the same without them." I took a single bite and froze.
"Oh, Is it..." Ms. Midoriya started.
"It... it tastes like her cooking." I smiled, "Thank you. Truly, thank you." I wiped a small tear from my eye. 'A Saiyan crying? I would never be able live that down back home.'
"Well don't wait dig in." She prompted. And I didn't need to be told twice, but I didn't go at it with nearly as much gusto as most Saiyans would. I had some control over my stomach. "Thank you for offering to help train Izuku with using his quirk. It puts me at ease he has friends willing to help him."
"Well he can't be much of a hero if he has to constantly be healed, I am certain I can help him control his power, but it won't be easy." I said before taking another bite. "He has the longest to go in the class."
"I know that. Which it means a lot to me that you want to help me." Izuku said, "And I'm not sure how to say thank you for it."
"Well when it comes time that you mater your power, I want to see it's full potential first hand." I said, "A fight between student and master you could say." I smiled. "But I'm certain that we will both grow a lot between then and now."
He laughed at that, "Of course Fuma." We finished the meal and since I didn't have to get home before any specific time I stuck around to help out and of a bit of studying with Izuku, who helped me understand the homework a lot easier. As we talked we walked through the house and I spotted a room with a blue and yellow sign that read 'Izuku'.
"This your room?" I asked.
"Oh, yeah... you don't want to... Wait!" I opened the door and my eyes were assaulted with All Might. Posters, tiny statues, books. Everything was All Might, there was weights in the corner and a computer.
"Well... I can see why your costume reminds me of All Might." I said, "Can't say I was any better, my room back on the farm was covered in posters of a icon for the low class warriors, a man named Bardock." I stepped into the room. "You really are a fanboy." I looked back at him and it looked like his brain was short circuiting. "Is it normal for humans to turn red like that? You do that a lot."
He snapped out of it, "Wait... you don't know what blushing is?"
"Of course I know what it is, blood rushing to a persons cheeks, for people like me it happens after sparing for extended periods of time or drinking." I said.
"Well, for humans, it happens for a lot of reasons, embarrassment and liking people are main reasons." He explained.
"Well you do get embarrassed a lot." I just shrugged it off, "So what started all this?" I gestured at everything.
"Oh, I have the video on my computer." He sat down in front of it and brought up a video file. "All Might's Debut as a Pro Hero."
The video showed a disaster zone, destroyed buildings, the camera was shaky. "This is insane, he's already saved a hundred people!"
"HERE HE COMES!" A woman called, and I saw All Might, his face bloodied with people on his back.
"IT'S ALRIGHT NOW! BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHY!? I AM HERE!" He had that smile, the same smile that my brother would wear every time he left, I had never seen it until now. The video ended and I looked at my reflection in All Might's face.
'I understand now, why Izuku fights for others.' I looked at the green haired boy. Who had a awkward smile on his face, one that he hoped would do the same thing as All Might's.
Well here it is, got it done faster then I thought it would take. If you have any suggestions for Fuma's attack names leave them down below.
