Kagome's POV

I looked around us in awe, the deep blue ocean stretched out in front of us. I looked up at Sesshomaru his eyes were focused on the horizon. " Do you really think I'll be able to fly like this too?"

He glanced down at me and back up before answering. "I'm not sure, but from experience I know you're stubborn enough to try and most likely succeed."

I felt my face warm and looked away. "What else do you think I could do?"

He was silent for a few minutes before he shook his head and sighed. "I'm not sure, all demons abilities are passed down through families very few are learned and they require harsh training and time."

I felt my eyes sting with unshed tears and quickly blinked them away. "All of my family are human." He nodded but said nothing his eyes focused on the horizon. I sighed and watched the ocean. "This is going to be much harder then I thought."

I felt Sesshomaru's chest vibrate and looked up at him, his eyes were on me. "You're not wrong, but we have methods. Finding out what type of demon you are will be the first step."

I shook my head. "Does knowing what type I am that important?"

He nodded and looked back up at the horizon and smiled. "We are almost there."

I blinked in surprise and followed his gaze. In the distance I could see the island. "Will Rin be there?" He nodded. "Will she be afraid of me now?"

He looked back down at me. "No, she knows who you are."

I stared at the island quickly coming closer. "I hope so."

Not much longer after that we landed on the sandy beaches of Okinawa. "It's even more beautiful then last time." I whispered to myself looking around.

I heard Jakken snort from beside me. "Last time? I promise you wench no one comes here without permission and trust me we would have remembered turning you and your." He looked me up and down before shaking his head. " friends away."

I glared down at him. "Call me a wench one more time toad, I would love to see how far you can fly."

"Lord Sesshomaru! You're home!" I looked up in surprise as Rin riding Ah-Un landed in front of us. She raced right passed me and Jakken to come to a full stop inches away from Sesshomaru.

"Yes Rin we are home." I watched them both in awe as Sesshomaru places one hand on top of her head gently. "Does everyone else know we have arrived or were you watching for us again?"

I looked at the girl in amusement as she looked down at her feet and dug her feet into the sand. "Just me I think."

I heard Sesshomaru sigh and gently turned her around to face us. "Why don't you go inform everyone?"

She perked up. "Okay!" She started to raced back towards the two headed dragon before skidding to a stop in front of me and Jakken. "Welcome home Jakken! And-" She looked at me in surprise. "Lady Kagome is here too?!"

My eyes widened in surprise as she reached for my hand. "We're gonna have so much fun together!"

I heard Sesshomaru sigh. "Rin."

She looked over her shoulder and blushed. "Right." She looked up at me and smiled. "I have to let everyone know you're here! But after I hope you'll let me show you around! I'll show you my special place too!"

I chuckled and knelt down in the sand so we were almost the same height. "I'd like that very much Rin."

She beamed and continued towards Ah-Un "I can't wait!" I watched her scramble onto the dragons back and take off. "We'll see you soon!"

I waved to her and turned to Sesshomaru. "You were right."

He came up beside me as Jakken took off down the path grumbling about little girls and his death. "What do you mean?"

I shook my head and smiled up at him. "She didn't seem fazed at all."

Sesshomaru looked at me. "Kagome, you are still you even with your new...features."

I sighed and looked away from him and started walking towards where Jakken had disappeared. "I hope so."

Alright! Another chapter down! Soon we'll really start to see their relationship bloom! And finally find out what type of demon Kagome is! I hope it won't effect anything I'm so excited to play with her abilities!
