I collapsed into the girl's arms. "I... am going to kill that brat." I ground my teeth as I was set on the ground. I heard sirens and looked over to the steps as I spotted the rest of UA's Staff. 'Little too late.' I thought.

"The rest of you get going, the heroes will take care of the injured." Aizawa said but as Deku passed I grabbed onto him.

"Stay... please." He sat down next to me as Cementos walked up to All Might. The rest of the students walked away.

"I can't believe that worked." He held his head.

"I'm just glad I could help, but I can't wait to recover... this Zenkai boost will be the largest one in my life." I said as I looked at the number one hero. "Perhaps One day I'll..." The air around All Might burst into a cloud of smoke and steam as Cementos erected a wall separating us from the rest of the building. As it cleared a completely different man was standing there, all skin and bone, clothes barely hanging on his frame. "What... the?"

Chapter 15: One for All

"All... Might?" I asked as I looked at the teachers. "What the... MMHPH!" Deku clamped his hand over mouth. I pulled his hand away. "What is going on?"

"Fuma… I have to ask you to not tell..." He covered his mouth with his hand went into a coughing fit, blood dripped from his mouth and hand. "I used too much of my power today. Fuma, you can't tell anyone about this."

I pushed my self to my feet with Deku's help, "I want a explanation. You don't just go from the strongest in the world to one foot in the grave."

"All Might... should we tell her?" Cementos asked.

"Given what she did today, once she recovers we may not be able to stop her from getting the answers she wants." All Might said. "I'll explain at the hospital. Just don't tell anyone."

I gritted my teeth the entire time I was bandaged up and placed in a ambulance with Deku. The ride to the hospital was short but I didn't care. I was wheeled into a room with recovery girl. "My, my, dear you got seriously hurt. I'll have to x-ray your chest and arm."

It was dark out by the time I had gotten my ribs wrapped and my arm in a cast. "You should be back in fighting shape in about a week." the old hero gave me a healing kiss on the cheek. "Don't do anything too rash till then dear, you may not be like the rest of us, but you still have your limits." She left and In walked Deku and a skinny All Might.

"You owe me a explanation." I said.

"It happened five years ago." He lifted his shirt, a ugly pulsating wound covered much of his chest. "My respiratory and digestive systems are next to shot. After today... I think I'll only be able to manage my Muscle form for a little over an hour."

"How did it happen?" I asked.

"A villain, I did everything I could to keep this fight under wraps. And this wound is also why I took Young Midoriya as a student." All Might looked at the boy.

"All Might chose me to be his successor, to be the next number one hero and Symbol of Peace." Deku looked at me.

All Might sighed, "And that includes my power. I passed my Quirk onto him because he had none of his own, and he acted to save another when even I couldn't. You first met us when I was training him to be able to handle the power of my Quirk."

"Passing on powers... but aren't quirks genetic? Wait..." I scratched at my chin. "No, you lost me."

Deku looked at All Might, who nodded. "Our quirk is called One for All, it has had many users in the past growing stronger and stronger." Deku explained. "I still don't know the full scope of this power."

"It is a sacred torch that has been passed from hero to hero." All Might held out his hand and a glow shone in his palm kicking up a light breeze. "And if villains were to know that my power could be passed on, they would be trying to steal it."

"I understand." I still didn't fully wrap my head around it, but I got why they didn't want people to know. "All Might... thank you for saving us." I said, "Now I have a target to surpass." I looked at Deku. "Is inherited power stronger then training?" I smiled.

"Always looking forward to your next fight? I guess that is just how you Saiyans are." The hero laughed as he stood up. "You have the day off tomorrow. Try and relax." He left the room leaving me with Deku.

"Uh... my mom is on her way to pick us up." He rubbed the back of his head. We sat in silence for about a minute. "So... back home... what were your friends like?" He asked.

"I didn't have any, I was just weak Saiyan who couldn't win a fight. Why would anyone want to be my friend? You... you are the first Deku." I said as I pulled my legs up to my chest. "Even my brother who did everything he could to train me said I was a waste of Saiyan blood. And I always wanted to prove them wrong."

"Saiyans… you speak so highly of your people... yet to me they are villains." He placed his hand on my shoulder, "You aren't like them."

"I know... it's just... I never knew anything else. Being told that even the weakest of Saiyans were mighty warriors... all except for me." I rested my chin on my knees... "And now I'm thrust into a world where helping others is smiled upon over tearing them down... I'm just so confused."

"You did amazing today, you did more then anyone. You should be proud." I looked at his green eyes. "I'm proud of you."

"Thank you Deku." I smiled at him.

And this short chapter is done.
