I turned a corner and came face to face with a another pro hero, a tanned woman with white hair and bunny ears, a white leotard with a gold moon on her breasts, powerful legs in black stockings and steel toed and heeled foot gear. A key card hung around her neck. "Oh, your the girl from the first match. Fuma." She said, a large smile and red eyes looked me over.

"Yeah... wait, your Mirko, the Rabbit hero." I said. "You also on security?" I asked.

"Yeah, Nezu wanted as many top heroes here as he could." She said, "You have some time before your next match right?" She asked.

"I do have some time." I said.

She smiled, "Well then, I have to admit. Wanting a fair fight, even using your quirk to empower your opponent, that was risky." She said, "But I have to respect that."

"It's more fun that way, after all this is a festival. It wouldn't be much if I just blew through everyone." I said. "All I want is a challenge, and that's this whole tournament right?"

"Of course kid, say, I'll be keeping an eye on you, you seem a lot like me." She ruffled my hair as she walked away, "Get back to your friends kid."

Chapter 27: Round One Finished

I made my way to the prep room for my next match, this meant that I was going to miss out on the last few fights of the first round, well at least from the balcony. Mina's and Aoyama's match plated on mute as I stretched out, working knots out of my arms and legs. I bounced on the balls of my feet as I phantom boxed the air. My eyes on the screen, I watched as Mina slid around on her acid, dodging the blonde's lasers with ease.

She slid to the side when a sick look crossed the boy's face and his arms moved to his stomach as he started to hunch over. 'His body still can't handle his quirk.' Mina threw acid at the boy burning through his support item and waist band of his pants, as his hands went to keep his decency Mina closed in and knocked him out with a upper cut. 'It takes some force to actually knock someone out like that. Not bad.' I thought.

Next was Kirishima and Tetsutesu. The two entered the ring, but at that same time the door to the room opened. I looked over and saw Bakugo. "Tsk, Monkey girl."

I glared at him, "Do you want to get knocked out before your first match?" I asked as rolled my shoulders.

"What do you see in him?" He asked.

"Deku, well at least he actually acts like a hero." I said as he glared at me. "But why would how I see him matter to you?"

His glare only intensified, "You damn Monkey." I stood up getting in his face.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Don't call me a monkey." I glared at him, winds picking up as I slowly started to power up. "You'll regret it."

A loud bell rung, "It's a Draw!" Mics muffled yell rung through the stone, "Next match is Katsuki Bakugo Vs Ochako Uraraka." We stared each other down, black eyes inches from red.

"Hmph. Your nothing but talk." He turned and walked out of the room. I powered down as I ground my teeth together. I turned to the screen as the crowd waited for the next match. I didn't wait too long as the two students walked onto the stone battle field.

I clenched my fists as the match Uraraka charged low bent over, trying to use her quirk on Bakugo, but he blasted her back, rubble flying into the air, then she got back up lunging at him but once again she was blasted back once again. More chunks of the arena flew up in the air. Now the arena was filled with smoke, Bakugo leaped at what he thought was Uraraka, but it was just her jacket. She tried to attack from behind but Bakugo used his explosion quirk to blasting her back.

She skidded back, wiping dirt from her face, fists clenched. 'She has quite the fighting spirit.' Once again she charged him, but I noticed something odd.

She attacked Bakugo, a open palm trying to make him float away, but he used his explosions to blast back from her, but this once again threw her to the ruined cement arena. She stood to her feet, and tapped her fingers together, releasing her quirk. The camera panned up, and massive cement chunks fell to the ground in a haphazard from the air crashing to the ground in clouds of dust, the brown haired girl charged forward dodging and weaving between boulders. She got in close and almost touched Bakugo.

But Bakugo unleashed a massive explosion throwing Uraraka, hitting her head off the ground a few times as she was thrown back. She pushed her self to her hands and knees, and tried to crawl forward, breathing hard, bags hung from under her eyes as she got to her feet, Bakugo rushed her but she fell over.

Beaten.

'That was a closer the Bakugo would ever admit, but this was a foregone end.' I thought as I turned from the screen. 'It'll take sometime to repair the arena.' I opened my locker and pulled out a roll of fighting tape. I wrapped the tape around my arms and hands. I repeated a mantra in my head, thinking back to when I was a child, and my training with my father. 'With Battle comes honor, with honor come glory, with glory comes victory. Victory leads to pride.'

I stood off across from my father, eyes locked with the old Saiyan, I lunged forward, throwing as strong a punch as I could which he blocked with ease before his tail smacked me on top of my head, I landed on my butt before a weak Ki blast sent me flying into a pile of grains I was stuck upside down, my legs and tail flailing in the air. "HA ha ha, Fuma you your getting stronger my girl." He laughed before hunching over coughing into hand as he held his side. He wiped the blood away from his beard as he slowly came out of it. "Ah my old war wound is acting up again."

"You're still more powerful then any of those men that go and fight! And one day I'll be as strong as you!" I popped out of the grain pile shaking the crop out of my hair. I sat rocking on top of the pile. I looked up at the streaks of ships coming and leaving the red skies of the Planet Vegeta.

"You'll be stronger then I ever was my little Monkey Girl." He ruffled my hair. His rough battle scared hands held mine. "Remember what I taught you."

"Never cause misery." I said with him.

"War is in our blood, but Honor and Pride is earned. If you must kill, then do so that causes the least pain as possible, both physical and emotional for their families." He squeezed my hands, "But I think that one day, you will find a more important reason to live then being one of Freeza's thugs. A hero."

"But..."

"No buts, you are to innocent for that maniacs army." He brushed my hair out of my face. "You have a strength I can only dream of." He kissed my forehead.

And Chapter is done.
