I stood off across from my father, eyes locked with the old Saiyan, I lunged forward, throwing as strong a punch as I could which he blocked with ease before his tail smacked me on top of my head, I landed on my butt before a weak Ki blast sent me flying into a pile of grains I was stuck upside down, my legs and tail flailing in the air. "HA ha ha, Fuma you your getting stronger my girl." He laughed before hunching over coughing into hand as he held his side. He wiped the blood away from his beard as he slowly came out of it. "Ah my old war wound is acting up again."
"You're still more powerful then any of those men that go and fight! And one day I'll be as strong as you!" I popped out of the grain pile shaking the crop out of my hair. I sat rocking on top of the pile. I looked up at the streaks of ships coming and leaving the red skies of the Planet Vegeta.
"You'll be stronger then I ever was my little Monkey Girl." He ruffled my hair. His rough battle scared hands held mine. "Remember what I taught you."
"Never cause misery." I said with him.
"War is in our blood, but Honor and Pride is earned. If you must kill, then do so that causes the least pain as possible, both physical and emotional for their families." He squeezed my hands, "But I think that one day, you will find a more important reason to live then being one of Freeza's thugs. A hero."
"But..."
"No buts, you are to innocent for that maniacs army." He brushed my hair out of my face. "You have a strength I can only dream of." He kissed my forehead.
Chapter 28: Fuma Vs Todoroki
I stepped out onto the field, looking up at the crowd as they watched me and Todoroki walk to the repaired arena. I took in a breath as I climbed the stairs, fists clenched, my heart pounding with anticipation for the fight to come. I stepped inside the boundaries of the fight area and made my way to the center of my side. Mirror me was the son of the number two hero, his white and red hair waved in the wind from the pots of flames off the corners of the stage.
Midnight looked at the two of us, and we both nodded, words were not needed between us. She raised her arm, "Begin the match!" I brought it down and I leaped to the side as a wall of ice erupted from where I was standing. With a outstretched open palm I blasted him Ki shots that he blocked with a ice shield. I fly around him keeping the barrage up but the ice blocked my attacks.
Skidding to a stop I focused a pair of thin beam attacks that cut through the ice forcing him to step back. I used that moment to charge in and attack him in close range smashing apart the ice. I side stepped a ice spike that shot up from the ground as I jabbed him with a right to the face. He stumbled back hold a hand to his face. Pulling his hand away blood dripped from his palm and fingers as it dripped down. I followed it up with a kick to the stomach that sent him skidding backwards. He stopped himself with ice like he did when he fought Deku, but unlike Deku I didn't have to wait to keep up my attack.
With a lung I smashed my knee into his chin sending him flipping through the air. He landed with a three point stance encasing himself in a ice dome that sent a barrage of sharpened ice spears at me I ran around letting them miss before I stopped and stomped on the edge of a cement slab that made up the stage, it flipped up blocking the ice. Before it fell to ground I used a double fisted attack to sent it flying at Todoroki's ice dome. But before it crashed into it a storm of flames blasted it apart.
Standing among the rubble was Todoroki, face covered in blood and his quirk raging around him as ice and flames erupted from his body. Throwing his hand forward a wall of flames engulfed the air in front of me. I leaped as High as I could looking down at the arena. "REBELLION SPEAR!" In a instant I formed a large blue Ki ball which I threw down at my fellow student, he used more ice then he had used against Deku to stop it, but the attack just plowed through it. He was forced to dodge to the side as it impacted the ground with a massive explosion that sent debris higher then me, when the smoke had cleared I had blow a massive hole in the stadium's floor.
I shot down wards, fist barely missing him as he backpedaled, I smashed into the ground sending stone shards everywhere as the cement I kneeled on was turned to dust. I stood up and lunged but he attacked with a ever increasing wall of ice that pushed me back. My arms strained to try and block it. I pushed to the edge of the arena. My eyes focused on my arms "HUNTERS LOCK!" I was frozen in place by my own silver ki. Ice continued to crash into me, tearing at my clothes and cutting my skin. My eyes burned as I refused to blink.
Soon, it stopped. From out side the frozen prison I heard "It would appear that..." Midnight started.
"HARBINGER!" I shouted, my power expanding cracking and pushing the ice outwards. I shattered all of it with my expanding Ki pressure. I stood on the edge of the arena, glowing a angry orange. "It isn't over yet!" I blasted forwards into a explosion of fire, but my Ki blew it way as I closed in on the scared boy, "DETROIT!" I grinned as I threw the punch straight into Todoroki's stomach. "SMAAAAAASH!" He was thrown from the ring slamming into and through the cement wall that kept the crowd out of the arena area.
I stood center of the ring bent over, huffing as I grinned from ear to ear, blood thundered through my body. I stood straight and bellowed, "WHO'S NEXT!?"
"Fuma wins the quarter finals!" Midnight raised her hand. The crowd remained silent, no cheering, as I look around, all I saw was horrified looks.
"She's too much of a loose cannon." One hero in the crowd said, my Saiyan senses picking up on it.
"Any agency would be stupid to take her on, this love of fighting is ridiculous, look at that destruction." Another said.
"Yeah that girl from earlier, she was determined, but this is just..." The first one said.
Then a clapping from the higher levels came, I looked up at who it was. Mirko was the only one, a big smile on her face. Then after they came out of their shock my class mates got on their feet cheering for me, and some people of the crowd but most remained silent. I kept my eyes locked with the Pro Hero.
And well that's completed. Leave your thoughts down below.
