"What's the Lunar Calendar?" Romne asked.
"It's... oh gods..." I said.
"What?" Celron asked.
"Once a month. And tomorrow in the next full moon." I looked at the two fighters.
"Oh, this is going be fun." Celron cracked his neck as a dark purple mist formed on the edge of the crater. Stepping out from it was two men, a lanky blue haired man with a white hand attached to his face, and what appeared to be living mist with glowing yellow eyes dressed in a finely tailored suit. "You two are Shigaraki and Korugiri?"
"And you are the help that Baron Boreal sent? The Saiyans?" Shigaraki looked us over.
"The Lunar Hunters." Celron stood to his full height. Towering above everyone. "Who do we have to kill?"
Chapter 36: Hero Killer, Lunar Hunter
I rolled over in bed. Unable to sleep, something didn't feel right. I pulled out my phone and started to scroll through my photos again the light filling my side of the room. I didn't pay much attention until the phone was taken out of my hand. "Best get some sleep we have a long... What's this?" Mirko looked at the photo of me and Deku just after a sparring session, both of us beat up and dumb grins on our faces. "This is that boy from the Sports tournament, Midoriya was it?"
"Yeah Deku... he's one of my friends." I brushed my hair out of my face, "We train and study together... he's a nerdy fan boy."
Mirko sat on the bed next to me. "I know that look." She had a mischievous grin.
"What's that's supposed to mean?" I asked as I looked at the white haired woman.
She let out a loud laugh, "Oh you act all brash, yet you really are just a naïve teenage girl. Tell me do you feel anything around him?" She smiled.
"What's that got to do with anything?" I looked away from her, my hair hiding her from my view.
She placed her hand on my shoulder. "There isn't any shame in liking him, so what is he like?"
"He's smart, strong willed, determined... honorable and... courageous." I felt something in me heat up again. Almost like a longing for... "And he's...
"I see, you do like him." Mirko teased. "Tell me, how dose he act around you?"
"Well he get's flustered easily, but... when he helps me with my studying he seems so confident." I looked back at the hero. "What do I do?" I asked, things starting to click in my mind.
"Next time you see him, just talk to him, let him know how you feel." She ruffled my hair and I pushed her hand away. "Get your shut eye Saiyan. We are heading to the mountains to investigate something that crashed out there. I hope you like hiking."
It was getting late and we haven't found what ever crashed in these woods yet. "The Locals said they saw three streaks of light come down on the mountain." Mirko said.
"Could it have been some kids using their quirks for a prank?" I asked. I was covered in sweat, mud, twigs and scrapes from the hike out to here.
"Possibly." She said as we came over another ridge and found a deep crater. "The hell..."
Inside the crater were three silver metal orbs with red glass windows. On the door was a horned skull insignia I didn't recognize. 'Oh... no those can't be...'
"Are those space pods or something?" Mirko asked as she slid down the side of the crater, no traps...
I followed her, my scouter scanning them. "I thought I got away." I muttered to myself, 'They can't possibly belong to Saiyans, or Freeza… the insignia is all wrong.'
"What are these?" He ran a gloved hand over one of them activating the door. "I'm calling these in." She said as she reached for her comms my scouter activated.
"Fuma! Hosu city is under attack!" Deku's voice yelled into my ear. "Nomu's are destroying the city and I think Iida is in danger."
"Repeat that! Hosu is under attack by Nomu?" The transmission cut in and out.
"Yes, we need help!" Then it shut off.
"Mirko." I looked at the woman.
"We are too far away, we don't have any way there." She said, I then looked at the pods.
"I think I can get these to work... give me a second." I said as she moved aside. I punched in the co-ords that I got from Deku's transmission and the engines roared to life. "They are set to land in Hosu."
I ran through the allies as I looked for Iida, I had sent Fuma the message when I was in the city square. I rounded a corner and I saw him... and a two black haired people, a man with blades on his sides and a bloody Katana as well as a... Saiyan woman, she had a two eyed scouter over her eyes as she clashed blades with the Hero killer. Iida was slumped on the wall next to the Hero Native, both weren't moving but still breathing and blood stained the clothes they wore. "Deku! Run!" He yelled the two fighting looked at me.
"DETROIT BLAST!" I released the beam which the Hero Killer dodged, but the woman crossed her blades in a X and cut through it. The attack ended and she smiled sadistically as her tail curled around in small circles
"Another hero." the Villainous man said. "Get out of her before you die as well."
"Deku, this is my fight."
"No, you idiot meddling when you need to is the essence of being a true hero." I declared as I squared up.
"You are the one little Fumy called out to in the sports festival." The Saiyan woman said. "Shame... I almost feel bad for having to kill you. But don't worry, the deserter will be with you in the afterlife shortly." As she said this I sent out my Location from my phone behind my back.
"I know what you are." I said, "And I'm not afraid."
"Oh do you now? Why don't you tell your friend as well." She said as she pointed her blade at Iida.
"You are a Saiyan." I powered up my full cowling, thanks to Gran Torino I could maintain eight percent now.
She laughed, "I am Romne the Blood Moon of the Lunar Hunters. Stain, Deku, Ingenium and Native, you all have the pleasure of dying by my blade." A sickening blood red Ki aura flared around her. My scouter went higher and higher.
'It's over nine thousand!' I clenched my fists.
Hello there. Third chapter will be out later today.
