I sat in the bar with my control pad, "Looks like her mission to see just how strong Fuma is was a success." I said as I guided the injured Saiyan woman to a safe place to teleport her here.
Celron just grunted as he drank from a bottle of whiskey. "I'm impressed with those Nomu." He said to the TV Screen tat held static, "No wonder the Baron wants a alliance with your group."
"Indeed, and the power of you Saiyans is simply marvellous." He said, "I'll have my personal doctor heal your friend."
"So, you are going to help?" Shigaraki asked.
"I need my sister dead, All Might is my way of that goal, So I will break the symbol of peace by first destroying the next generation of heroes. First UA, then all the others, then when the world hates Heroes I will strike him down." Celron stood, "You will have your world, and I will have my fun."
Chapter 39: Consequences
I sat cross legged in the hospital bed, my classmates tending to their injuries. My arms were wrapped in bandages much like Izuku who stood by the window. "So you have never been sent out on a mission before..." Iida said.
"Nope, was always considered too weak. My new found power is a recent development." I said. "I've only killed things while hunting with my mother and that Nomu thing at the USJ."
"Just so hard to believe, an alien, in our class." He shook his head.
"What about what Romne said, being a deserter? Is that true?" Todoroki asked.
"My home world was destroyed four years ago, I barely escaped the destruction of Planet Vegeta on the other side of North Galaxy" I ran a hand down my hair.
"Destroyed? Like nuclear war?" Iida asked.
"No, it was erased, the entire planet by the tyrant Lord Frieza. Just gone, nothing left like it never existed." I pulled my legs up to my chest, "I should have stay and tried to fight, and died with the rest of my people."
"Fuma…" Deku sat next to me, "You know..."
I looked at the green haired human, and as I swallowed my pride I smiled. "But... now I get to make my own path."
"What about the Lunar Hunters? How many are there?"
"On the planet I would have to say three, but which ones I don't know, Romne was one of the more twisted members, even by Saiyan standards, taking joy in turning her foes against each other. Each of the members were referred to as Moons." I said.
"So what did Blood Moon mean?" Iida asked.
"She... as a Great Ape... eat her kills. Like I said twisted." I took in a breath.
"How did you know her?" Todoroki asked.
"Their Captain... if he's still alive, is my brother. Celron." I looked down again. "The seven Saiyan team just left one day on a mission and never returned so it was assumed they died. When the search party arrived they found empty pods and bloody armor but no bodies. The planet had been cleared out but nothing was ever found of the Lunar Hunters. If Celron is alive, then... we have to pray he isn't here."
The door opened and a group of people walked in. All Might, Manual, Gran Torino and Mirko as well as the police chief who had a dog head. "You four did us a service by helping taking down the Hero Killer. But you can't tell anyone what happened. Not with that Villain on the loose." The Police Chief said. "If the news that aliens exist got out... I have a hard time believing it yet..." He looked at me. "Thank you."
"Yes, the official story is that Stain attacked Native and Iida when Romne as you claim her name is attacked all of you." Manual said. "Iida, I am disappointed that you let your desire for revenge control you."
"Fuma, can I talk to you in private?" Mirko asked. I nodded and walked into the next room with her. "How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Still very, very sore... but... I feel like I should have told you about... well..."
"It's fine kid, you are safe now. I don't really care that you are a alien, only that you are a hero at heart." She poked me in the chest of my heart. "You have my number right?" She asked.
I nodded. "Yeah I do."
"When it comes time for your work studies, call me up. I want to see how much stronger you get." I looked up at the bunny hero, her big smile lifting my spirit. Then she pulled me into a hug. "You did good Saiyan, just don't go around acting as a vigilante just yet."
"R-right." I said.
"Good, now go get him." She patted me on top of my head.
"Wait what about my internship?" I asked.
"Ha, if it were up to me I would keep it going, but you are clearly in no condition to do it." She ruffled my hair. "Enjoy the days off kid." I nodded as I returned her smile. She turned to leave, "Keep that smile up, you'll need it."
It was a little after Iida and Todoroki had left, I stood next to Deku as we looked out the window. "About what I said in Hosu…" He started.
"Deku... I..." I gave him a small smile as I grabbed his hand in my own. "I..." I looked away for a second as I steeled my self. "I love you too."
"I..." He started as I looked back at him. "Okay."
I rested my head on his shoulder. "I don't really know what to do... for something like this... like us."
"We'll figure it out." He said.
"Just... next time... don't nearly kill your self in fight." I said as I looked out over the city.
"I promise." He laughed as I looked at him putting our arms around each other, his face getting flustered like usual.
"I don't think I'll ever grow old of you getting embarrassed." I closed my eyes and leaned in to him.
Just gonna post this.
