I just went to a simple burger store, it would only be a light snack, but I didn't know how much Fuma had told these two about Saiyans. They just wouldn't leave me alone, Kirishima would ask me questions, about what I did, what I liked, most of my answers were lies of course. And of course he would also talk about training to be a hero, and a two week training trip they were taking in a few days. But... it was nice... different from dealing with my own kind. Eventually I stood up. "Sorry to cut this short, but I have to get going." I said.
"Sure thing Astero, see you around." Kirishima waved me off. as I walked down the balcony, something caught my eye, it was Shigaraki, and he had... that green haired kid... Inosuke or something like that. Infront of them stood a black haired girl, powerless to do anything.
'Fuma.' I really had to get going. I left the Mall as quickly as I could. Back at the Bar Celron was waiting for me.
"Enjoy your walk Fifty?" He asked sarcastically. "Make any new friends." His sadistic grin sent shivers down my spin.
"Actually, I gained information on two of the targets." I said standing my ground, "One of them seems more villain then a hero. He may be able to be persuaded to our side."
"Oh." He gave a me one of his more genuine smiles. "Do tell." He reach over and grabbed a bottle of whiskey which he opened with one hand.
Chapter 50: Trip to the camp
I held on to Deku's shoulder as Shigaraki vanished in the crowd, I had been forced to watch helpless as he questioned Deku about what made him different from Stain. "Deku." I said as he gasped for air. "I..."
"It's fine Fuma…" The determined look he shot down where the villain had gone reminded me of a Saiyan warrior. "There wasn't anything we could do."
"Tsk... I hate being powerless to do anything." I growled.
We reported what had happened and the mall was shut down and we were brought in for questioning. It was late at night when we were free to go, outside the police station was All Might in his skinny form. "I'm sorry that I wasn't there."
"It's fine, there was no..." Izuku started.
"Izuku! Fuma!" Inko ran up to us, "Oh I was so worried about you two." She had tears in her eyes as she hugged us. At first I tensed up but I relaxed and patted her back.
"Inko, we are fine." I comforted her.
"Please, no more scares like that." She looked at us, crying. "I can't handle a scare like that again. For either of you, you are family Fuma."
We didn't say anything as we hugged the woman. 'I want to promise you that won't happen, but so long as the League and Lunar Hunters are on this planet...' I thought to my self. 'But I promise you this... I will protect this world... I will be this world's Saiyan Warrior. I will even become the Legendary Super Saiyan if I have to... I promise you this Inko.'
A couple of weeks passed where I only intensified my training much to surprise of my classmates. "Fuma, you are pushing your self too hard." I jumped as I left the training room. I looked behind me at Nezu. "You are only a first year." He said. "Yet you are preparing for a war. You should relax."
"You know why I'm pushing my self this hard. With the Lunar Hunters on this planet, war is coming. If Celron is alive... then I need to have complete control of my powers... including my Ozaru form. I have been working on mastering my Ikari Harbinger form, but the fact that I can't control Ozaru is a danger to this world ." I clenched my fist. "You don't understand the threat that Celron poses to any world... how could anyone just imagine a single person destroying an entire species for fun. The more I think of my people the more appalled I become... I wanted to be a monster." I was disgusted with myself.
"Is there a chance that he is indeed dead?" Nezu asked.
"As impossible as it seems... eight years is a long time... but I rather not risk it." I said as I looked away from him. "My father taught me a evolution of Harbinger... the same power that ended his time as a warrior... if I have to use it... I won't hesitate." I said with a grim feeling in the pit of my stomach. "It may be our only chance."
The animal man sighed. "I understand."
Soon the day arrived, and everyone was overjoyed. Mina and Kaminari bounced with joy, our stuff was stashed on the bus and we began the long trip to the secret training camp. I sat next to Deku. Over the last few days I had seldom moved my thoughts from the fact that there hadn't been any attacks... yet when I had called Mirko about the remaining pods, they were still in the government's custody. The Saiyans hadn't left... they had to be looking for something. "Fuma…" I jumped a little when Deku snapped me out of my thoughts with a whisper. "Is something wrong?" He asked.
"Oh, uh..." I tried to think up an excuse.
"Fuma… you can't worry about that day in and out." He squeezed my hand. "We have to focus on the here and now."
"I... I know." I kissed him on the cheek. "I'm fine."
He looked at me with some doubt, but he wasn't going tp press it here. "If you say so."
After a while I started to fall asleep in the seat, my eyelids slid down as I settled back into the seat... until the bus stopped and my head smacked into the seat in front of me.
"Everybody off, we are taking a quick break for you to stretch out." Aizawa said as he stood up.
We got off the bus atop a cliff and as I did some stretches I noticed two... cat women and a boy in a horned red hat? I didn't really bother paying full attention as they explained who they were. "We are two members of the Wild, Wild Pussycats." I held in a laugh "I'm Ragdoll." She had green hair and orange make up spots around her eyes. She had a bright yellow hero costume consisting of a blouse and skirt an her head was a large metal device resembling cat ears and a two toned stripped tail stuck out from behind her.
"And I'm Pixie Bob." A blond woman in a blue and white version of the same hero costume.
"I know who you are, your part of a old hero team." Deku said.
Pixie Bob large padded hand gripped his head in a instant, "I'm still 18 at heart punk."
"Y-yess ma'am." He stuttered to which I giggled.
"Don't Mind Pixie, she's just eager to find love and it has her on edge." Ragdoll laughed it off. "Now about why we stopped you here. Look over there." She pointed off the ridge. In the far distance I could see a clearing with a few buildings. "That's our Headquarters, it should take you three hours to reach through the forest of monsters. And don't worry, it's private property feel free to use your quirks."
'Forest of monsters? Wait three hours?' Then the ground started to shift under us. Then it surged up and I spun around and threw down a ki Ball blasting it away, the road was reduced to a crater as the heroes and the boy stood on the edge of it. I looked down the cliff, where the rest of my class had landed. "You said it should be three hours, hmph, I'll see you there."
I blasted up into the air and flew through the air but when I looked down I saw that my classmates were fighting some sort of rock monsters. I rolled my eyes as I doubled back and flew down low close to the trees, blasting many of them as I cleared the path for the others. A massive stone hand reached for me but I grabbed it's it and hauled it up into the air, a giant stone beast roared as I spun knitting my fingers together, a silver ki ball expanded in my hands, placing it next to my hip I thrust them forward, "STAR ARROW!" the ki beam vaporized it mid air. I focused in front of me and shot down the ground, my feet digging a massive trench into the ground as I slowed down.
I let out a breath as I looked up at two people, one was a brown haired woman with a short hair cut and a red version of the Pussycat's uniform, the other was a dark skinned man in... a brown version of the uniform... skirt and all. "You are here early..." The man said dryly.
"Well I want to get started on my training." I said with a smile. "So what's the plan?"
