Harumin hadn't eaten Yuzu's special Valentine's day cookies just yet. Not that she had any shortage of Valentines junk to sort through. Going to an all-girls school, it was a given that most of the girls in class exchanged chocolates with themselves. Harumi found herself a little surprised when Yuzu showed up with cookies for everyone in the class. Most of the other girls seemed even more surprised at being offered homemade cookies by the resident troublemaker. (She suspected most of them didn't believe they were actually homemade).

It was funny to see Yuzu making the attempt to get along with her stiff classmates, and of course, Harumi got a portion of the cookies as well. Though she couldn't help feeling a little let down to be lumped in with the rest of the class. She, of course, had bought some really nice store-bought chocolate for her best friend, who received it enthusiastically.

Harumi knew better than to wait outside for Yuzu at the end of the school day. During break time Yuzu focused all her attention on her phone, probably planning something for her and Mei. So Harumi now walked alone with Yuzu's cookies burning a hole in her pocket. All in all, another uneventful Valentine's Day for gyaru in disguise, Harumi.

"HARUMIIIIIIIN!" A voice in the distance called out. Harumi was doubly surprised to see Yuzu barreling a path through other school girls to get to her. "Harumin, wait up!"

"Yuzuchi!" Harumi made sure to stop and allow a panting and sweating Yuzu to catch her breath. "What are you doing here?"

"Ha-ru-min," Yuzu panted out with her hands on her knees. She shakily held up her phone. "I got 'em!"

"Got what?" Harumi asked, intrigued by what could have caused all the ruckus. Her eyes widened.

"I got tickets to the chocolate tasting festival this afternoon!"

"NO FUDGING WAY!" Harumi ripped Yuzu's phone from her grasp, nearly knocking the blonde to the ground. "These have been sold out for months! It's supposed to be super exclusive!"

"My mom knew a guy who knew a guy!"

"Sounds shady!"

"But worth it!"

"Hell yeah, that's my girl!" Harumi gathered her friend into her arms and gave her a back-popping hug until she realized something. "So you're going to take Mei, right?"

Yuzu blinked in surprise. "No!"

"No?" Harumi repeated, flabbergasted.

"You said you wanted to go yesterday, so I decided that would be my Valentine for you!"

"But what about Mei?" Harumi implored, confused beyond belief Yuzu waved her off like it was nothing.

"I've been celebrating Valentine's Day all month with her; if anything she begged me to give her a break!"

Harumi stared at Yuzu like she was out of her damned mind before she burst into peals of laughter. "Always so dramatic, Yuzuchi!"

True to form, Yuzu dramatically got down on one knee and took Harumi's hand. "Harumi, will you break your diet for one day and be my Valentine and eat way too much chocolate with me?"

Harumi wiped away an imaginary tear and replied with the gravitas of a queen, "I accept."
