Father remained silent as All Might looked at him. "And I regret every single one. Unlike you... did you forget everything I taught you Celron? To make sure those you do kill suffer as little as possible, and to ensure that their family is spared as much pain as possible. What I did was following orders, you went out of your way to torture them for as long as possible. I hated every moment of it but I couldn't leave." With each word my father struck each attack stronger then the last. "And to try to kill your last living family! What were you thinking!?" Celron blasted him tearing away the furs that was thrown over his armor. But the old warrior shrugged it off.
"How are you even HERE! YOU DIED!" More blasts, he was getting more and more frantic.
"Isn't it obvious?" The dust cleared and he was unharmed. "I'm already dead."
During this All Might was battling All for One. But The number one hero was forced to hold back as Bakugo and that Saiyan child... Saiyan child? The one that Bakugo stood defending had the same symbol on his chest as the Lunar hunters... "Is that Astero?" Kirishima asked.
"Astero?" I looked at the red headed teen.
"He's a teen we met the same day Deku was confronted my handsy." He said, "How was I supposed to know he was a Saiyan?"
"But why is Bakugo defending him?" Iida asked.
"Celron probably used him as a punching bag." I said as I watched the battle. "He turned his back on his squadron. We have to get the out of ther so that dad and All Might can fight at full power, and before Celron creates a power ball."
"Okay I think I have a plan." Deku said.
Chapter 60: Battle of the Apes
I stood behind Kirishima, Iida, and Deku, the blue haired and green haired boys held onto Kirishima as we prepared the plan. Kirishima had his hardened arms crossed in a X in front of his face. I held his feet in my hands as we held him up perpendicular to the ground. "This has to be the stupidest plan ever." I said.
"Do you have a better idea?" Deku asked me.
"Well I could..." I started before Iida cut me off.
"No you can't go fight along side your father, once we get Bakugo we have to leave as soon as possible." Iida cut me off.
"Fine." I rolled my eyes, my heart was racing from how close we were to the battle. The shockwaves from the attacks filled the air.
"Stop arguing and lets do this." Kirishima said.
"On three." Todoroki said. The temperature dropped as he got ready.
"One." Iida said.
"Two." Deku went next."
"Three!" I powered up and with the other two activating their quirks we blasted through the wall before a massive spire of ice shot up under us and we rapidly ascended.
"BAKUGO! COME ON MAN!" The red head called out to his friend who had the small Saiyan on his shoulder.
The whole battle field looked up at us, and like we had predicted Romne broke off from the fight to attack us. My eyes locked onto her. "HUNTERS LOCK!" I shouted freezing her in place as my father blasted her back to the ground where she laid unconscious next to a blonde girl with a knife and decked Celron as he looked up at me. The gold halo over his head shined in the dim light.
Bakugo said something as Shigaraki closed in on him then a massive explosion escaped from his hands and he shot up into the sky using his quirk to correct his path. The blonde grabbed Kirishima's hand and we blasted off. "You damn idiots." He gave a wide smile.
Then I went Ikari and my speed increased ten fold. I pushed us as far away as needed from the battle field. Once we had cleared most of the city I slowed us down and set us down in a back ally. The rest of the caught their breath as I stared at the new Saiyan. And as he sat on the ground he glared up at me. "Had I not cut off your tail in that forest, you would be dead." He said bluntly.
"Can we trust you?" I asked. "You di just betray..."
"HA!" He jostled him self making him clutch at his leg, "Those two were never my allies. In fact I never planned to survive this long, I was expecting to die tonight." This caught most of the humans of guard. "Even if this raid wasn't going to happen, Celron was on the edge of killing me for months now."
"Fuma, leave him alone." Bakugo came to his defense stepping in front of me, "He didn't have any say in most of his life."
"And you expect me to just accept him? He's a Lunar Hunter, he will have killed innocents." I pressed. "We can't trust him." my lips curling in a snarl.
"Enough!" Iida stepped between the two of us, "He's a child, Fuma, like all of us."
"Tsk." I looked away from the class rep.
"Look, we should give him a chance, he did try to help Kacchan to escape." Deku said and I rounded on him and he backed up in shock.
I tried to calm myself down. "I watched as Celron assaulted him, he hates him nd the League even more then we do." Bakugo said.
"Look, I get you don't trust me, but these people gave you a chance, let me have that same chance." The small Saiyan said. "I have already stranded them on cut off their means to communicate effectively off world."
"Tsk, fine. But if I have any reason to doubt you, I am wiping you off the face of this planet." I growled before he handed me a scouter. "What are you doing?"
"Read my power level." He got to one foot leaning on Bakugo. I took the scouter with a swift motion.
Placing it over my eyes I looked at him. "I don't get what you are going on about." I scanned him... "Fifty?"
"I never saw combat."
Rubarge watched as the group of UA Students flew over his head, 'Young Midoriya! What were you thinking!?' They had rescued Bakugo.
"DAMN IT!" I looked away from All for One to stare at the raging Saiyan. Celron back handed one of his fellow villains in frustration, the top hatted man landed in the arms of the Villain Twice. "I'LL WIPE THIS CITY OF THE MAP!" He created a glowing ball in his hand, his irises losing all color. He threw it up into the air "BURST OPEN AND MIX!"
"Forced Quirk activation." All for Ones fingers turned black and red shot over to two unconscious Villains, the warp Villain and a the one the report named Magne. As Celron's body expanded in size his father looked to the ground. Shigaraki yelled out to his master as hew was dragged into a portal with the rest of the League and the unconscious Saiyan.
"You need to escape Tomura, I did this all for you." The Villain said before turning to me. "It was his goal to kill you, but it would appear that you suffer the same fate as your master."
"What was that?" I growled.
"Nana Shimura." He said, "It was a setting much like this that I had killed her, and to think of the irony of the path that fate has taken." He spread his arms wide.
Celron took a monstrous step towards his father who's eyes were still closed. "Time to die Heroes." Celron shouted a beam forming in his giant maw.
We pushed through the crowd, Kirishima's jacket thrown over Astero until we spotted a large screen projecting the battle, my brother had transformed, his roars filling our ears. "Come on old men, don't fail us now." I clutched Deku's hand.
Rubarge took in a single breath. "Harbinger." The word sent shock waves all the way to where we stood knocking some people off balance. And he released his full power, the ground under him vaporized in a flash of molten heat. The angry orange aura only grew as he open his eyes and turned his gaze towards the artificial moon. He grew in size, matching his son in stature, yet out classing him in everything else, his power was even greater as he slammed a massive fist into the jaw of his first born. Celron fired a beam the would have wiped out a large portion of the city had the older warrior not tanked the hit.
All Might and All for One battled fiercely, yet the number one hero was starting to falter in his battle. "DETROIT SMASH!" He shouted clashing his fist together with the villain but was blasted backwards, his feet skidding on the ruined stones and his form failed him. He shrunk down. Skinny and frail... And the crowd was surprised.
All For one taunted him, "Would you look at that, this is your Symbol of Peace? He's already half dead."
All might was bloodied, but then my father slammed Celron into the ground, his deep voice in the Oozaru form boomed, "All Might, if you are truly this world's protector, then show them your power. You believe that you only have embers of you old power inside you, but I can see that you have more then that."
"Father..." I said.
"Let's show these Villains what true warriors are." The red eyes of my father locked with the Symbol of Peace.
"Your... right." All Might's arms bulked up and my father let go of Celron and leaped upon the Symbol of Evil while All Might Screamed a war cry, his fist smashing my brother in the eye. Blood spurted everywhere as he threw his head up tossing the number one hero towards the artificial moon. "TEXAS SMASH!" All Might destroyed it with one attack before he fell back down towards the shrinking Saiyan.
My father started to shrink down as well, but he continued fight All For one, his rapid attack only getting quicker and quicker. Soon he was back in base. his fist shattered All For One's mask before he came in with a mighty right hook. "You aren't much a fighter are you?" My father taunted slamming his fist up into the Villains gut. Celron screamed in pain as he clutched at his missing eye. He turned his gaze skyward only far All Might to drive him down with a thunderous attack. As he stumbled back blood fell from his face.
"I'll kill YOU!" He charged up a attack, but my father switched with All Might in a instant, flying at high speeds with Celrons face being dragged through the cemenet and steel before tossing him up into the sky.
"SOLAR ECLPISE!" The flaming golden beam burned through the air impacting Celron in a giant explosion that cleared the sky of coulds, I looked up as the golden ripples shot past the city in a beautiful display of power.
Celron fell from the sky, eyes blank as a black and purple portal swallowed him up and the camera focused in on All Might and my father as they closed in on the Villain. "It's over All for One." All Might said.
"That is where you are wrong, Steel bones, " He started to list of quirks and his arm mutated as he clutched his hand tight as skin bone and muscle tore broke and reformed into a grotesque form. "I chose these quirks to kill you. And that will happen." He floated up in the air, then he said something that wasn't picked up that visibly took All Might aback.
"He is saying that to unsettle you. Don't fall for it." My father placed his hand on All Might's shoulder. "We'll beat him here and now."
"You sound confidant about that. What makes you think you will defeat me."
Then my father let out a chuckle, "In the afterlife, I discovered something." He closed his eyes as he stood up straight, then the whole city shook. People fell back but I remained standing. The sky darkened and lighting cracked in the sky. A yellow aura flashed around my father, once twice, the camera focused on his snarling face, his eyes flashing from black to green. His hair started to rise and change color. From black to gold.
"Impossible..." I said... "It can't be."
"RRAAAAAGGGGHHHH!" he shouted as massive golden beam penetrated heavens. When the dust cleared, standing there was my father... as the Super Saiyan of myth.
