This is a MARICHAT/ADRIENETTE story ! It's going to be one chapter for now, but we will see how this story goes!

Prologue: What happens when Marinette kisses Chat Noir unexpectedly while practicing on her confidence? Will Chat Noir start to develop feelings for her?

It was a cold night as Marinette walked down the streets of Paris to get to her home. There weren't many cars around and there weren't a lot of people walking alongside the sidewalk. As she turned the corner, she entered her house. Her parents were nowhere to be seen so she just went upstairs to the attic where her bedroom was. She climbed down the ladder and plopped on her bed as her kwami, Tikki, would fly out of Marinette's purse and sit on the bed.

"Marinette, don't you have something to do...like the project...?" Tikki questioned.

"Oh, right Tikki! I almost forgot about that..." Marinette would exclaim as she climbed down the ladder and got the supplies from her drawer. She would start her project as an unfamiliar kitty cat would jump building to building. As Marinette was doing her project, she heard thumping above her. She looked up at the ceiling and starting to have a confused look on her face.

"Who could it be this late in the night...?" She questioned to herself. She looked at her trapdoor and there was a knock on it, making her jump. The person knocked on it a few times as Marinette just stared at the trapdoor. She was lost in thought on who it was and came back to her senses. She would ask "Who is it?", She would come closer to the ladder to get to the trapdoor. She climbed up the ladder and opened the trapdoor peeking at who would be on her balcony this late in the night. She looked around and didn't see anything, so she opened the trapdoor all the way and climbed onto her balcony. It was cold as she stepped further from her room to the railing of her balcony. She would place her hands on the railing as she looked up into the night. "It sure is beautiful at night..." She inhaled then exhaled deeply. "It sure is." A random voice would appear. She jumped again and turned around, blushing. There he was, the superhero himself, Chat Noir. He was standing there wearing his black leathered spandex with his catlike features. His wild blonde hair swooshing through the wind as his eyes glowed green from his black mask.

"Chat Noir…? W-What are you doing here…?" She would stutter as she put her hand onto the railing again as she was facing him.

"I just wanted to see you, after that akuma, I wanted to make sure you were safe." He said while looking at her as his hand would go behind his head, scratching as he spoke. He smiled at her with his toothy grin and proceeded to come closer. "O-Oh I see, what is that behind your back by the way?" Marinette would have a confused look as she pointed at his hand.

"I just wanted to give you something… and see if my princess was okay." He would be blushing lightly from underneath his mask as he gave her a pink rose. She looked up at him smiling taking the rose from his hand and smelling it. "It's beautiful Chat, Thank you." She would giggle as she stepped forward to him and kissed his cheek. He would nervously laugh and cleared his throat as he began to spoke again. "Well, it looks like you're busy, so I'll just go for now."

"No, wait!" She grabbed his hand. "You can stay for a while if you want..." She would say quietly as she was looking at the floor, blushing.

"Alright Princess." He smiled as he stopped and turned around to her. They both would go climb down to the ladder and into her bedroom. As he stepped down on her floor he would look around and see a few pictures of him, as his civilian self. He would walk up to one of them and observe it. "You must really like this guy, huh?" He said teasing her. She looked at him, blushing red. "O-Oh no! I just really like fanshion- I mean fashion because you know he is hot- I mean the outfits look hot!" She'd stutter as she was laughing nervously, facing the floor, blushing at the matter. He would chuckle as he sat in her chair "I was just playing Marinette." He said while still chuckling. Marinette would roll her eyes as she went back to doing her project. As he was staring at her from behind, he would get up and stand behind her, skin from skin. "What are you doing?" He would say in her ear whispering. He would sniff her hair, she smelt bread and cupcakes from the bakery downstairs. Oh, how Chat loved pastries so much. Marinette would jump as she turned around and gently pushed him back.

"I'm just doing a project for my school, but don't you have school also?" She looked at him with a confused expression. "No Princess, this cat doesn't do school." He would flex his arms as she rolled her eyes.

"Oh, you're so cool kitty..." She'd say sarcastically while rolling her eyes as she was smirking. He would pin her onto the table smirking up at her. Chat was taller than her, so he was hanging over her looking straight into her big blue eyes. "I know." He said with a grin. She would be blushing as she looked up at him.

"C-Chat...?" She whispered as he put his knee between her legs as she leaned in more to the table. She had hands on his chest as he began to close the distance between them.

"You smell…good princess..." He whispered seductively as he closed in more. One of her sewing objects fell onto the floor as he was leaning more into her. They both would look at each other as their lips were closing in. "GAH!" She would say, slipping on the sewing object on the floor and falling forward onto Chat's chest as they both fell. There was a big thump as they fell onto the ground. She opened her eyes and found herself on top of him. She would stare at him until he opened his eyes and smirked. "Y'know... I like you on top of me, but if your parents catch us doing this..." He would tease.

"O-Oh Right...!" She'd get off of him and quickly sat on the chair. He got up and walked around her room again, snickering from what just happened. As he was wandering around her room, he didn't just see one, but multiple pictures of him on her walls and even him as her computer screen.

Hmm... It's weird to have so many pictures of me like this...I know she is fan, but I never knew she was a FAN LIKE THAT.

He would turn around and look at her while she was caught staring at him from behind. He noticed this and smiled "Like what you see?" He said while flexing his arms. She blushed and shook her head. "W-What? I'm not looking at you." She said while turning her head the other way, rolling her eyes. He would grin as he stepped forward. "Well Princess, I must go. It's getting late and I don't want you up all night because of me." He smiled while looking at her. "I just want you to get your beauty sleep." He said as he went toward the ladder.

"Oh alright, have a good night Chat Noir..." she would say whispering.

"What was that, Purrincess...?" He purred while smirking at her again as he climbed up the ladder.

"I said goodnight!" Marinette yelled having a slight attitude.

Chat Noir chuckled, "Goodnight, Marinette." He said while climbing up out to her balcony. He extended his baton to hop from building to building until he was at his mansion and climbed into his bedroom.

"Plagg, Claws out." He spoke. There would be green sparks at his feet going upwards to the rest of his body and to his head. Adrien now stood there while a black kitty kwami named Plagg was laying on the bed, tired out.

"Ugh...why did you go to that girl's house…you like her or something?" Plagg would say as he floated to Adrien's cupboard to get some cheese.

"What? No! Marinette is just a friend. I was just checking up on her, that's all..." He would say while blushing lightly.

"Watcherver yoush say Adriensh.." Plagg would say as he was eating his cheese. "I mean you could have her as a girlfriend to lose interest out of ladybug..." Plagg said after he finished the cheese, gulping it entirely. Adrien would roll his eyes and step forward into his bathroom. He would take his clothes off and put it on the bathroom counter. He turned the shower knob as the water came out from the showerhead. He stepped inside. He had rows of abs, maybe 4? Or 6? He looked good though. He was washing his hair as he thought to himself about what Plagg said.

Do I really have feelings for Marinette? What about Ladybug?

Adrien would be finished with his shower, heading out into his towel. He would see that Plagg already went, knowing that he went into his little bedroom. He would get into his pajamas, flopping onto his bed. He let out a groan as his head was buried into his pillow.

"Goodnight Plagg.." He would say out loud.

"Goodnight Marinette..." He said in his mind while drifting asleep.

NEXT DAY - `3

Marinette opened her eyes to see beside her that Tikki was sound asleep. She got up carefully not waking the little red kwami up. She climbed down her ladder and went into the bathroom to get ready. She would brush her teeth and wash her face as she got ready for the day. She would pick out the clothes that were handcrafted herself. It was a high waisted knee-length pink skirt with a white long sleeve turtleneck top. Also, she grabbed a black denim jacket and called Tikki. Tikki was already floating to her as Marinette opened her purse. The kwami flew inside the little purse and Marinette went downstairs to greet her mother and father.

"Good Morning Mama and Papa!" She would walk up to them and kiss them on the cheek.

"Good Morning Marinette." Marinette's parents, Tom and Sabine, would say as they were preparing to open the bakery.

"Have a great day at school, sweetie." Sabine said as she gave Marinette her lunch.

"Thanks, Mom!" Marinette said as she hugged her and left for school. She crossed the street and onto the sidewalk, walking to school. She met her best friend, Alya, and start talking to her as they both walked their way to school. Marinette was lost in thought as Alya was talking about her Lady blog to her so she can find out who Ladybug was.

Why did Chat Noir come to my balcony last night...?

"Marinette? Earth to Marinette?" Alya said as she was waving her hand in front of Marinette's face. Marinette shook her head and looked at Alya. "Sorry Alya! I was just lost in thought there..." She said as she put a hand behind her back, laughing nervously.

"Uh huh, Is it Adrien? Luka? Or maybe someone new…" Alya said while teasing Marinette. Marinette would blush from the new part and Alya would notice this.

"OH, so it is someone new…? Tell me the details girl! Y'know you can tell your best friend anything!" Alya said excitedly as she was holding Marinette, shaking her quickly.

"What? Oh, no one! Seriously…I was just thinking about the uh…THE PROJECT!" Marinette would exclaim and clap from the excuse. "Yes, the project…", She said in a normal tone.

"Okay, whatever girl…now come on before we are late to school!" Alya would run passing Marinette. "Last one there is a stinky cat!" Alya yelled as she was running to school.

"No fair! Hey!" Marinette would yell as she was trying to catch up with Alya.

They both ended up in front of their school, College Francoise Dupoint, Marinette looked to see that Adrien was standing there with Nino by the school entrance talking. Marinette blushed as she was walking up the stairs, looking at Adrien. Adrien noticed that Alya and Marinette were there and greeted them with a wave. Marinette seen this and looked right and left and then waved rapidly for the longest time. Alya saw this and put Marinette's hand down to her side, making a disappointed face. They climbed up the steps to encounter the two boys standing at the entrance. All 4 of them were now at the school entrance talking.

"Hey Marinette." Adrien would say as he was facing her.

"H-Hi Handsome. I mean Adrien." She laughed nervously as she was stuttering in front of him.

Adrien would chuckle as he noticed her stuttering, smiling. He lost track of time and didn't even notice that the bell rang until Marinette poked him.

"Uhm Adrien?" Marinette spoke as Adrien was lost in thought blushing slightly. "We're going to be late." She said as she stepped into the building, so Adrien would snap out of it and followed her. As they were walking up the stairs Adrien was checking Marinette out. He slightly looked under Marinette's skirt as they traveled up the stairs, and yet it was something he shouldn't be looking at. As he kept staring under her skirt, something grew in his pants as they were walking upstairs and into the classroom. He noticed this and hid it with his bag and proceeded to walk in. He had somewhat of a red face while entering the door. He seen Marinette sit in her seat and then Adrien would sit in his own seat in the front next to his best friend, Nino. He would slide his bag over his jeans so no one would see his print. He had a mild blush as Ms. Bustier walked in. Nino would look over at Adrien seeing that the blonde had a flustered expression.

"Dude, are you okay?" Nino said with a strange look. Adrien would look at him and said nothing until Alya tapped Nino on the shoulder. Nino would turn around to face the reporter.

"What's up with him?" Alya would whisper to Nino as the teacher was talking. Nino gave her a shrug and Marinette looked over at Adrien, feeling a little concerned.

"Adrien...? Are you alright...?" Marinette said with a concerned tone, she leaned forward and tapped on his shoulder as he was hunched into his seat. He heard her voice and caused a whole scene by standing up and yelling, "I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM!". Everyone in the class would look at Adrien and he would stand there, red in the face. All of them were shocked at what happened and couldn't believe that he yelled while in the middle of a lesson.

"You can go Adrien, but please...don't yell again in the classroom." Ms. Bustier said as she was looking at him concerned. Adrien would nod and run out the door and then downstairs. He raced to the bathroom and made it into the stall, breathing heavily. Adrien would place his hands on his knees, in the bathroom stall.

What's...wrong with me...?

"Hey dude, you okay in there?", A male said as he was knocking on the door stall.

"Y-Yeah! I'm fine!" Adrien said as his face was flushed from his embarrassment. Adrien opened the door to see a concerned Nino looking at him. Adrien would put on a small smile as he scratched his head. They both walked back to the classroom. Marinette was sitting in her designated class seat talking to Alya as both of the boys entered. Marinette looked and Adrien caught eye of it. They stared at each other for a split second until Marinette waved at him and quickly looked back to Alya. Adrien would get back to his seat with Nino.

"Girl, what was that?" Alya questioned Marinette. "Don't tell me you..." She'd look at her with a furrowed brow. "N-No way Alya! He is just a friend." Marinette said reassuringly. "Whatever Girl..." Alya said.

"Forget Adrien, What about that new person...?" Alya said while smirking. "W-What? Alya, I don't know what you're talking about..." Marinette said, blushing. Adrien heard this and was eavesdropping on their conversation. "Oh, c'mon girl! Tell me all about him..." Alya whispered since Ms. Bustier was teaching.

"Ugh Alya! I still like...you know who..." Marinette hinted at the blonde in front of her. "Right...Okay, I get the hint, I'll drop it. For now though." Alya said, snickering. Marinette would sigh from her response and class would go accordingly for the rest of the period.

After two hours went by, it was lunchtime. Everyone was going downstairs to the lunchroom. Marinette was walking down with Alya chatting about what they were going to eat. Nino and Adrien were in front of them. There were big thumps behind Marinette and then suddenly she went forward. She screamed as she was about to fall face-first onto the ground, but suddenly she felt arms grab her around her back. Marinette would open her eyes and look up to see it was Adrien holding her so that she wouldn't fall. Chloe and Sabrina passed them making Marinette purposely fall to the ground.

"Marinette, Are you alright?" Adrien said while looking down at her. Marinette would not respond and only blush at him.

"Wow, He is so hot." Marinette would say aloud. Adrien would smile at this and Marinette realized what she said. "I-I meant you're so not hot- I mean... Oh my gosh..." Marinette would stutter and get off of Adrien. "OH, LOOK AT THE TIME, GOTTA GO!" Marinette would yell, red in the face. "Marinette wai-" Adrien said while trying to grab her arm but it was too late. She was already gone and out of the door.

Marinette would run across the street to the bakery. She opened the door and said her greetings to her parents as they were kneading dough for the next customer to come in. She passed them and then went upstairs and opened the door to the living room and kitchen. She passed the living room and went upstairs again into the attic, her room. She would throw her purse on the lounge seat and climbed up her ladder to her bed.

"Ow!" Tikki said as she flew out of her purse. "Sorry Tikki." Marinette mumbled while having her head in the pillow. Tikki would fly up to her bed as Marinette would moan from what happened with her and Adrien.

"Tikki, I'm such a loser! How can I confront Adrien if I'm always running away or messing up my words..." Marinette said lifting her head up to look at the red kwami.

"You just need to be confident, Marinette." Tikki said. Marinette would sigh and put her head back into her pillow. She would sob onto her pillow until she drifted to sleep. At School, the students were at lunch eating their food. Alya, Adrien, and Nino were sitting with each other and talking about what happened.

"I wonder why Marinette left in such a hurry? Does she not like me?" Adrien questioned, feeling rather upset from his conclusion.

"W-What No way dude! She loves you...I MEAN likes you!" Nino said while chuckling nervously. Alya would look at Nino having a face of "if you don't shut up" expression.

"She likes me?" Adrien said, looking at Nino confused. "What? She doesn't like you she just um..." Nino was sweating at his point.

"What he means is...Marinette likes you, but as a friend of course." Alya said, pushing Nino out of the way to have her in Adrien's view.

"You two would be cute though, right Nino?" She said while nudging Nino with her elbow.

"Yeah, You guys would be cute," Nino said. Adrien would look at them, thinking about what they said of him and Marinette. He smiled at the thought of him and Marinette as a couple.

"Enough of that, I don't think Marinette is coming back soon. She texted me and said she was going to stay home for the rest of the day." Alya said while sighing. Both of the boys frowned and then the lunch bell rang. Nino and Alya were walking together as Adrien stepped back while the couple walked ahead.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking Plagg?" Adrien said while looking at his pocket. "Oh...please don't tell me we are going over there..." Plagg said while complaining. "I'll give you loads of cheese after," Adrien said while smirking. "Fine." The kwami said rolling his little beady green eyes. Adrien smiled and ran upstairs to go back to class.

It was 8pm at night when Marinette woke up from her slumber. She looked around and called Tikki to see if she was near, but no response. She shrugged and got out of bed to see that it was eight in the night. She thought about what happened again with Adrien and started to frown from the experience. There was a loud thump from the ceiling and she jumped off of her bed and grabbed a broom. She climbed up her stairs to her balcony only to find out a black superhero was grinning at her.

"Hey Princess." Chat Noir purred. Marinette would climb back down the ladder and the superheroine would jump inside on to the hardwood floor. Marinette would be standing there looking at him until he came up to her. He observed her face and seen that there were dried up tears on her cheeks. "Princess, were you crying?" Chat noir said now looking at her in concern.

"What? No, I wasn't crying..." Marinette said choking up her words as she looked away from him. Chat Noir grabbed her by the cheek with his clawed hand, caressing it as Marinette looked at him and started to tear up as she nestled her head into his hand. "What's wrong?" Chat noir said with a frown.

"T-There is this boy..." She choked up her words as she wiped her tears away with her hands. "He...I just... I just don't have the confidence to tell him that like him..." Marinette said looking at Chat Noir. Chat would tilt his head and had a confused expression as he studied her. 'Who...is this boy?" Chat noir questioned.

"It's...um," Marinette said slightly blushing. "I thought you would rather have an idea on who it was..." She had a small smile on her face as she picked up one of her framed pictures of Adrien.

"Why are you holding that pict..picture of that model boy..." Chat said while realizing who she was talking about. He never knew Marinette would have a crush on him as his civilian self, yet he thought they were just friends! Chat Noir would have a slight pink blush under his mask when he realized Marinette had a crush on him.

"Yeah...but I just don't have the confidence of telling him how I feel or even be normal around him! I get all stuttered up and clumsy..." Marinette complained to Chat. Chat just stared at her as she was talking, matter of fact, he was studying her face. Oh, how she looked so pretty with her raven hair and big blue eyes and her freckles resting on her face. As he looked closer, He thought for a second that Marinette looked so much like Ladybug, but he shook his head and listened to Marinette's rambling.

"I just don't know what to do anymore like how can I be more confident around him?" Marinette said. That's when Chat Noir smirked and had a great idea come to mind.

"I know how you can get confident." Chat Noir said while smirking. "And what is that...?" Marinette questioned as she was pouting at him. "How about...you pretend I'm Adrien Agreste? I mean I do look like him- just a little bit..." Marinette would have a confused expression while Chat talked about his "idea". "You know since this boy supposedly has green eyes and uh- blonde hair like mine..." Chat Noir said smiling widely. Marinette thought about his crazy idea, I mean, it was a good idea? She sighed and faced Chat Noir.

"I guess you can be Adrien Agreste." She shrugged, "You do look like him- sort of...?" Marinette said. Chat Noir chuckled and nodded.

"Okay Princess, you go over there and then walk to me, okay?" Chat noir said while pushing Marinette to the other side of the room. "Okay, okay, I'm going!" She spoke while being pushed to the side of the room. Chat stood on the other side as Marinette waited for his signal to go. "Whenever you are ready Marinette, we will start with a normal conversation, okay?" Chat said not facing the bakery girl. Marinette nodded and sighed. "I can do this! It's just practice...", She thought to herself. She sighed and started to step forward in the direction of the cat-like hero. Red was across her face as she was stepping forward to Chat Noir and now stood an imaginary "Adrien". She tapped on the blonde boy's shoulder.

"Uhm...Adrien?" She squeaked out. Adrien would turn around to face her while having a smile across his face.

"Hey Marinette." He continued while smiling, "What's up?" Marinette would look up at him and stare into his gorgeous emerald eyes. She lost her train of thought and then shook her head to focus on the situation in front of her. "I..I.." Marinette would be nervous as she started to say something out of her mouth.

"I... I have something to tell you!" Marinette yelled out. "Adrien" would only smile and chuckle while having a confused expression. "What is it?" He said making eye contact with her. Marinette would now have a crimson face as she started to say "So, I'm sorry that I-" she took a deep breath and continued. "Adrien. You are the nicest person I ever met and you're always positive around others. You make me feel weird inside and nervous all the time whenever I'm around you because...b-because..." She'd stutter out as she tried to say the last words of her sentence. "B-Because I like you!" She'd yell out blushing from embarrassment. Adrien would just stare at her as she continued "A-And I don't mean just like you as a friend...I like-like you!" She'd have her eyes closed as she said that. Adrien would be wide-eyed as he took in all of what Marinette said. She was standing still, yet also trying not to run away and never come back. "Adrien" was blushing as he looked at her then having a smile placed on his shocked face.

"M-Marinette, that wa-" Chat Noir said but was interrupted as Marinette's lips met with his. It was a passionate kiss as he looked at her bug-eyed while Marinette was blushing and had her eyes closed. She placed both of her hands onto Chat Noir's chest as he was blushing from the impact of her lips on his. He grabbed Marinette's shoulders and gently pushed her back so that they would stop kissing. He liked it but it was wrong since he would be betraying his love for ladybug.

"M-Marinette...?" Chat Noir said quietly while not giving her eye contact. Marinette would realize what she had done and stared at Chat Noir wide-eyed as she was coming up with something to say. She stepped back from him and stood there while having her hand on her arm as she looked away from Chat as she spoke.

"Chat..." She started to say and let her hand fall onto her side. "I think...It's best I go now..." Chat Noir interrupted while turning around to exit her bedroom. He didn't want to leave the raven-haired girl but knew it was the best thing to do. It was for another time to explain what just happened between them. "Y-Yeah...I think it is..." She stuttered. "G-Goodnight Chat Noir..."

"Goodnight Princess." Chat Noir said turning around and smiling lightly. He was red in the face as he said that then turned around again to exit out from her bedroom and to extend his baton out onto the building across the street.
