"Fuma, please try to be civil. He has nowhere to go, like you when you first got here." The principle said, "UA is going to be giving him a chance. After all he is a orphan like you, Ah Rubarge is it? It's so nice to meet you." The furry principle held out hand for my father who shifted his sack to his other shoulder and shook the head master up and down like a stuffed animal.
"The feeling is mutual. I hope you don't mind me leaving this with you." He handed the sack to Aizawa, "Make sure these get to Class 1-A please."
We made our way to practice gym where recovery girl waited for us. "Please don't take it too far." She asked us.
"Don't worry, this will just be a light spar with Fuma, then a Right of Passage for young Izuku." Father said.
"Right of what?" He asked.
"Dad. Please don't get too carried away." I shook my head.
"Don't worry." He smiled as he powered up, "I won't be to rough with him."
Chapter 63: A Fathers Spar
I squared up with my father, his closed up stance much taller then my wider lower stance taken from my mother. I lunged to the side as he punched out a blast of air. I leaped up in the air and blasted him with a small ki ball and fly in close and punched him and attacked him with a flurry of blows which he blocked with ease. He punched out and I blocked it as I was thrown back and skidded back. "Strange, you have picked up on this worlds fighting styles and mixed it with your Saiyan training. It leaves few openings." He charged up two ki blasts in his hands and I crossed my arms ready to block his attack with my eyes locked on him. But instead he crushed them in his hands releasing a flash bang that deafened and blinded me.
I tried to blink it away but it was doing nothing to clear my vision, a blow slammed me to the ground and I rolled along the ground as gust of wind blew past me followed by the sound of cracking stone. I flipped back to my feet and on instinct I blocked a blow to my face but it threw me to the wall. As my eras stopped ringing and my vision cleared my father stood over me with a ready Ki blast in his hand. "Well what was I expecting going against a Super Saiyan." I chuckled, but then I transformed into my Ikari form and tackled him to the ground, and slammed my fist into ground as he tilted his face out of the way. We both had big smiles on our faces.
"Just like the old days." He threw me away and I slid on a three point stance, my fingers tearing up the ground and as he stood up laughing. "You have come along a greater amount then any of those fools on Planet Vegeta, but don't allow the power to get to your head, always remember this, that there is always some one stronger then you, be it an ally or foe for there is no true number one spot, only a continuous ladder to climb and improve your self." I the noticed that Aizawa and All Might had been watching, and the tired teacher even nodded in agreement.
"You know, you would make a great teacher for the Hero course." Aizawa said, making All Might's eyebrow twitch in annoyance.
"Ha, it isn't that hard, I tried my best to train some young bucks, but their Saiyan pride was just too great for their own good." He shook his head. I blinked the last effects of the flash bang attack away as he turned to Deku. "Izuku, it's your turn boy."
Deku started to nervously sweat as he stepped up and locked eyes with him, green meeting Saiyan black. And I watched as Deku lunged at my father, but he didn't move to block or attack, and Deku stopped short, his brow furrowed in confusion. He leaped to the side and my father only turned too keep eye contact. Then he asked, "Why do you fight? What drove you to this life, the life of a hero, of a warrior?" My father dropped into his stance, towering over Deku.
"I want to save people with a smile on my face, so that they know that everything will be alright." Deku Lunged and attacked him with what I could guess was a ten percent attack, my father blocked it with ease and pushed his arm out of the way before countering. Deku barely blocked it, landing feet first on the wall and pushed himself back into the fight sending fractures through out the cement.
My father nodded and then slammed him into the ground. "But what motivates you, who inspired you?"
"I want to be just like All Might, to be the next Symbol of Peace." Deku pushed his power higher to stand to his feet under my fathers force.
My father sighed, "And that is where you fail, you can't be the next All Might." Deku was stunned by this and even the teachers were taken aback by the seemingly harshness of his words. "Because you aren't the same person. All Might became the man he is due to his own path. I instilled or at least tried to teach my children what mattered in life, trust, pride in not just ones people, but their friends and teammates, love and compassion. But I gave them the tools, not the path, it was their choice to use them. You try to walk in the foot steps of a titan of your world. But then you aren't your own hero, your own person." He blasted him with a Ki attack.
"I need to find my... own path." Deku said and my father stopped, a pleased smile on his bearded face. He calmly walks up to Deku and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"That's right, you can be inspired by your idol, but don't strive to copy him." He looked at All Might, "After all, the next generation should be a evolution of the last, not a repeat."
And done, I am going to get some sleep now.
