"Hey, Mei, could you describe a perfect date?" Yuzu asked in her most very-much-not-eager-at-all voice. In fact, she was so very eager, she had woken up at the crack of dawn to plan out their weekend together. Since it was a month after Mei's birthday, it was still within the window of celebration! (Yuzu's window encompassed the entire year, but that was besides the point.)

Mei's suspicious gaze didn't seem to buy into Yuzu's acting skills. "Why do you ask?"

Yuzu tried to casually spin the pen in her hand that she was going to use to jot down the forthcoming answers. "Just 'cause!" The pen flew out of her fingers and into her face. "Ow!"

Mei was unmoved by her cry of pain. "I'll have to think about it."

That seemed to satisfy the blonde, who beamed at the potential of her response. "Okay!"

So Yuzu waited and waited as patiently as she could until it was almost the weekend, and she still didn't have an answer.

"Meiiii," Yuzu whined in her best very-much-not-whiny voice. "What's your perfect date?"

"I have an answer," Mei declared, seeming sure of herself.

Yuzu perked up immediately at that, scrambling for her pen. She had no idea what Mei would say- maybe a stroll in a bookstore, or extreme laser tag- it could be anything!

Mei pulled out a calendar. "I would have to say April 25th, since its not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket."
