Chapter 20
Zoe turned the Hammerhead's engines passed their normal operating level and set the new level to the absolute maximum. She asked if Tali could boost the shields to their max but Tali would budge unless Zoe turned down the power she was sending the engines. There wasn't any other sources of power on the experimental craft otherwise Tali would have diverted that extra power to the shields. Zoe was probably the only one crazy enough to drive any thing through a mass relay even if it was a miniature version of the real thing. The hammerhead lurched to life as The pulse engine engaged at full power. The hammerhead flew down the incline an its max speed.
Zoe did her best to keep the vehicle heading straight towards the relay. They didn't encounter any resistance of any kind as the hammerhead hit the ramp that led up to the relay. Zoe said a silent prayer to the supreme goddess Athame right before she and the rest of the ground team were thrown back into their seats by such a tremendous force. The tiny hammerhead didn't have any sort of motion dampening or force absorbing systems. Hopefully the hammerhead was made of strong stuff. Just under thirty seconds later, the hammerhead shot out of the relay on the presidium. The relay spit the hovercraft not towards the Citadel tower but out over the large artificial lake.
Zoe turned the controls of the Hammerhead over to Ashley right before she and Liara hopped out of vehicle and climbed up on to one of the elevated walkway. As soon as she landed on the walkway, Zoe activated her advanced cloaking tech which even masked her heat signature from the cameras equipped with either infrared or thermal vision cameras. Liara told her over their bond that she was going to try and make contact with Councilor Tevos and hopefully straighten out any misunderstanding that may have occurred.
Zoe hid in a dark shadow before she pulled out her sniper rifle. She looked down the scope of the rifle at the main bank of elevators. The main one which took its occupants directly up to the Council's meeting chambers and offices. There were no less than twenty C-SEC agents milling around outside. All of them heavily armed and looking agitated. Agitation leads to itchy trigger fingers. Zoe brought up her HUD unit built into her helmet. She tapped into the SPECTRE network and searched for any type of schematics for the main elevator. She had to love the snail like speed of galactic bureaucracy. They still hadn't locked out her SPECTRE credentials yet. Anderson's message told her that they were only going to lock down the Normandy. Her use of Executive Protocol 42 and naming herself as the agitator should have at least locked her out of the SPECTRE system.
Zoe found what she was looking for quickly enough. There was a maintenance access hatch that would get her into the interworking of the elevator. This hatch was located a few hundred meters away from her current location just underneath the bridge that led to the elevator. She could have taken a sky car up to the rapid transport landing pad during normal business hours but that access point was locked down the rest of the time. She knew that it was C-SEC protocol to lock down all access points. They never locked down every access point. She slowly skulked down the walkway not making a sound. She had to time her movements precisely against the movements of the armed guards.
It took her more than ten minutes to even get within striking distance of the elevator access hatch. She hoped that Athame was looking down upon her and guiding her down the right path. She saw that the access hatch was only guarded with standard Citadel cyber-security. It would have only fooled a novice but Zoe was not a novice. She could have hacked it easily but having the credentials of a maintenance worker she had lifted earlier made it that much easier. The only thing she disabled was the credentials acceptance bell. The hatch door slid open silently and Zoe slipped inside the elevator shaft.
Zoe took a few moments to rest and gather her strength. There was no way she could use the elevator without alerting C-SEC to her presence. She had to get moving. She had no idea if her entering the access hatch had tripped some sort of alert. She starting climbing the metal ladder on the side of the shaft. She made it nearly seventy five feet up the shaft when the elevator at the bottom of the shaft started its ascent. Zoe prepped her armor's built in magnetic grappling hook. Seconds later, the elevator rose above her. Zoe launched her magnetic grapple. The magnetic block attached itself to the bottom of the slow moving elevator.
Zoe stepped off the ladder just in time so that her tether didn't rip her off the ladder. Zoe swore the elevators on the presidium were the slowest on the entire Citadel. Two of the slowest minutes of her life later, the elevator reached the top of the shaft. Zoe waited for any signs of movement for over a minute before she swung herself over to the ladder and climbed up on top of the elevator. She slowly opened up the escape hatch and dropped silently into the car below. She felt the slight shake of the car before it started its descent back down. She fired her magnetic grapple up and out of the car hoping it would find a surface to land on. She lined herself up with the hatch as the elevator started its descent.
She couldn't see any exit other than the main elevator doors which only open when the car is in front of the doors. The doors wouldn't open without the mass effect shield that surrounded the car wasn't active. She swung her way over to the ladder. She needed to come up with another plan. She brought up the shaft schematics hoping to find another way out. She found it in the form of a keeper access point. The only problem was that she had no idea how to open up that access point. She'd worry about that problem after she reached the access point first. It would be quite the perilous climb. She thanked herself for taking the extra climbing training she took earlier in her life.
In an elevator shaft that relied on the mass effect fields to operate, who knows when the next elevator car would show up. Zoe had to put that from her mind as she grappled her way up to the keeper access point. It was lucky that she was in her full armor with helmet. Banging into sharp metal girders would be more painful without her suit. Moments later she was hanging below the door to the keeper entrance. She was about to touch the door when the door suddenly opened on its own. She was expecting a keeper to come out through the door. Not seeing a keeper, Zoe climbed up into the keeper tunnel.
She had heard rumors about the kids who lived on the Citadel exploring these small access tunnels. Zoe wished she had this knowledge if these rumors were true. She was once again going on her own without any sort of intelligence. Even her slender armor made advancing down the tunnel very difficult but Zoe persevered. A door ahead of her slid open. She looked up and she was looking up at the very high ceiling of the Council meeting chamber. She opened up her onmi-tool and released a tiny recon drone. The drone hovered a few inches above the access hatch. The video feed showed that the meeting chamber was completely empty. Zoe then used one the drone's difference cameras to see what the normal lens couldn't see.
There were no guards but that didn't mean that the chamber was left defenseless. There were several laser traps and motion detectors throughout the chamber. If she stepped one foot into the room, she would probably send the entire tower into complete lockdown. She would be trapped without any form of escape. She had no access to bypass or hack any of the security systems. She was about to recall her drone when she saw the laser traps disappear. The active lights on the motion sensor detectors turned off. What was going on here? Somehow she had gained access to an impossible place and now the security which guarded said place had just been deactivated.
Zoe tuned out all of these other thoughts. If she got caught, she would face the consequences later. There were greater threats to galactic security and stability. She made the decision to precede anyways. She pulled herself up and out of the keeper tunnel with her trusty sidearm in hand. The large empty chamber was almost pitch black if not for the emergency lighting. The light cast the room in an eerie green glow. This played to her advantage. She activated her cloaking device as she silently moved further into the room. Her heads up display was showing an active scan of the immediate area. The only sound she could hear were her own footsteps echoing around the large room.
Zoe finally made it to the wide staircase which led up to the petitioner's plinth. A digital panel appeared when she stepped onto the metal walkway. Where was all of this extra assistance coming from. Surely, this digital panel doesn't appear for everyone else who stepped on this metal walk way. Her inquisitive mind was distracting her from her mission. She walked up to panel. The panel welcomed Zoe which was quite strange. The SPECTRE linked her omni-tool and transferred over the code she had acquired from Vigil on Virmire. This gave her complete access the Citadel's operational control. The next thing the program did was close the outer arms of the Citadel. The program closed after the arms fully closed.
Zoe felt another presence inside her mind but it wasn't Liara. She turned around and saw a face she'd hadn't seen in over twenty years. It couldn't be real. He was dead. He was the strongest man in the world until his fighter was shot down on Elysium.
"Hey Spark Plug." Arthur 'Artie' Shepard stood there in his Navy flight suit with his helmet pressed up against his side. Zoe ran down the gangway towards her father. She ran right through the representation of her father. She turned around at the same time as her father.
"Dad… how are you here? You were shot down over Elysium. They never found your body. The Navy declared you dead." Zoe thought about it for a second. "You are just using the image of my father from my memories. I can't remember him ever calling me spark plug."
The entity switched its appearance to a very attractive and very nude Miranda. "Would this… how does Liara or Miranda live with these huge things. They completely throw off one's center of gravity. Anyways, as I was saying would this form less offensive? Miranda is quite special to you."
"Your appearance is the least of my worries right now. I should be making my escape from here." Zoe tried to move her legs but something in the back of her mind told her not to move.
"We are between dimensions right now where we are not being affected by time." The Citadel Tower faded away from Zoe's vision. Blackness surrounded them. "I know you have too many questions. I was the one who guided you here. I have been waiting for the right time to reveal myself to you. I am one of the universe's overseers. We generally do not interfere with the galaxy's inhabitants. We usually leave that to our janitorial service. They were chosen because they were the lowest bidder. Those janitors have a power that can control lesser beings. You Zoe have shown unprecedented resistance to their power. It was partially the reason why I took an interest in you." Faux Miranda walked closer to Zoe.
"You are unique Zoe. You are nearing the end of your transformation. I could finish it for you if you so choose but we can leave that for a bit later. The other reason I took an interest in you is that your choice to change. You could have denied the bond between you and Liara. You could have run for the hills when you found out about her condition and her history. You didn't. You embraced it with love and affection. You even decided to change into another species. You haven't made the ultimate sacrifice but came close several times even once when you were very young. We may be between space and time right now but I shouldn't start to ramble. To shorten a rather long story, your galaxy is slowly dying regardless of our cleanup crew coming in a few years. Simple resources are starting to dwindle already. Once those resources are all used up death is the only logical outcome. IT will be slow and probably very painful. There has been talk amongst the overseers in scuttling this galaxy with a cataclysmic extinction level event. We are still divided in how we should proceed."
Zoe couldn't believe what this entity was telling her. "It's really quite logical Zoe. We built this galaxy with a finite amount of resources that have slowly over the millions of years since we finished the Milky Way. We have picked up on some rumors that a fellow human is already making headway with an exit strategy. It would take a massive amount of resources with nothing but a sliver of hope of succeeding but that is your speciality. You humans succeed where others would have just giving up. It makes you dangerous but also formidable. I think it would be a terrible waste to exterminate your race and the Asari but the male counterparts of your race are prone to violence. You both cannot survive without each other or some severe genetic enhancement. Your people are just entering the vast ocean of genetic enhancement. You are the only person to successfully transition from a human to an asari. That crazy asari researcher's experiments always ended in failure because she overlooked on the universal constants. Love is a real and tangible thing. You would have become a full Asari in little over a year. If you both didn't love each other the bond either wouldn't have worked or you would have turned into a hideous mutant."
"If this galaxy is doomed then there is no hope? You might as well call in your galactic cleaning crew to get rid of us all. There is nothing worse than having nothing to life for. I'd rather be a mindless husk if there is no hope." Zoe turned away from the entity trying to comprehend she had just learned.
"This meeting would be rather pointless if there weren't solutions to all of life's problems. I could easily bring in our cleaners as soon as we are done if that's what you want. You would know this but there is a group of dedicated Alliance scientists who have been working on this very problem. They too have realized that this galaxy is in a slow but progressive decline. A team being led by Alec Ryder is looking into leaving this galaxy in search of a new home. Their work is slowly progressing. They will eventually leave the Milky Way but they will not save everybody. Ryder's team has the right idea but even products hidden in the shadows deal with the red tape of bureaucracy at some point. I hope I can convince you to lead an advanced scout party of your own choosing to a new galaxy."
Zoe quickly turned around. "All I have to do is just pick up and leave everything I've ever known behind on what could be a wild goose chase. It sounds like a fool's errand if you ask me. I am damn sure there is no vessel in the galaxy that could venture between galaxies."
"Well that's not entirely true. There is one that is almost finished its construction and with a few of my modifications I can pass along to your quarian friend, you should have no problem reaching the next closest galaxy. You won't be alone. Andromeda is the other galaxy I've been tasked with observing. It's not without strife but it could your new home." Zoe felt a tad uneasy for a moment or so. "That feeling of uneasiness will pass. I just skimmed the surface of your mind. Like I said bring whomever you want. One of your crew now actually knows about this new ship as it fell under her purview. It would be nice to see you strike a blow to the man and his organization that has been planning your down fall for the last year or so. They are still planning on having your ship attacked. My guess is by slavers using your ship's IFF signal. How they acquired that I do not know. Well I do but I don't think you'll…"
"Well there's only one former Alliance Black-OPS group that has the clout to acquire such information and what must be unlimited resources to be able to build such an highly advanced vessel that could be used for intergalactic travel. It would most certainly have to be Cerberus. Their leader has locked his sights on to me. For what reason I have no idea. If no one will stand up to idiots like him, the galaxy is doomed. How many years will it be before the galaxy will die?" Zoe asked not really expecting an answer.
"It will not be for some time but in the next fifty to sixty thousand years give or take. Even us overseers are not all knowing. It would be incredibly boring to know everything. Zoe, you only have two choices in front of you. Do you want me to finish your conversion? Do you want lead a group to a new galaxy?" The Observer stood silently as it waited for Zoe's response.
Zoe silently started removing her armor and clothing. She slowly spun around several times admiring her body. She cupped her ample breasts. Her nipples hardened even with her soft touch. She looked down and would miss her thick hairy bush the most. She let her heavy breasts bounce as her hands migrated down to her thick slick bush. She slipped two of her fingers passed the slick hairs of her auburn bush and into her slick slit. Her thumb easily found her clit. She circled her clit with her thumb while barely able to stand straight up. She bucked her hips against her fingers as her sticky honey leaked out of her cunt. Her hard nipples were painfully calling out for attention. Her free hand gripped her left nipple roughly.
Zoe couldn't stand up any longer. She slowly fell to her knees as she buried her fingers deep inside her wet pussy. She looked up at the Observer and nodded her head yes. She was ready to complete her metamorphosis. She felt a sense of extreme calmness fall over her as she reached her peak. A bright blue light forced Zoe to closed her eyes. She had lost consciousness right before she fell to the floor. The Overseer had brought them both back into the current time and place. He disappeared right before the lockdown on the Citadel Tower was lifted.
C-SEC guards rushed into to the Tower fully armed and their rifles drawn. The tactical squad charged up the stairs to find a very strange sight. There was a naked asari lying unconscious upon the metal floor. The squad leader called for a medical unit to evaluate the unknown person. The medics arrived shortly after. They reported to the TAC unit leader that the subject needed to be brought to Huerta Memorial for a full evaluation. The TAC leader assigned two of his men to escort the medics to the hospital. Just under thirty minutes later, the unconscious asari and her armed escort arrived at the hospital.
She was admitted to the Emergency Room at Huerta Memorial just after the start the night cycle. She was admitted to the high security ward after a cursory exam. Aroki Shael was surprised that she had a new patient. The high security wing of Huerta General was rarely used unless the small C-SEC infirmary was had no open spots or the patient required more than just the basic treatments. Her current patient was a young asari maiden with red stripes on her crests. Aroki was well versed in Asari physiology but her patient was quite unique. Aside from red streaked crests, her patient's large nipples were almost purple and once again ringed with red. Aroki continued her full examination and noted the deep blue lips of the young asari's azure came with the same red stripes.
Aroki knew that some asari like to get facial tattoos but these stripes were not tattoos. Her scan showed that there were wasn't any ink beneath her patient's skin. Up until today, Aroki had never seen secondary colors that weren't inked on in the form of a tattoo. The female drell doctor was finishing up her examination when the secure door to the private exam room opened up unexpectedly. Councilor Tevos walked into the room. She was alone which was strange. Aroki knew that the councilors didn't go anywhere without a squad of armed C-SEC guards. Aroki also happened to be Mir'irlia's personal doctor. The hospital was shorted staffed due to budget cutbacks. She needed the extra hours.
"Aroki… this is a pleasant surprise but I am afraid this is not a social or a personal call. We have been keeping your new patient under the highest of government secrecy. That is why I am here. You scanned your patient's DNA and it set off an alert." Mir'irlia turned around, activated her omni-tool and locked down the room. "Your scan came back as unidentifiable. That is by design to protect the identity of a Council Spectre."
"This young maiden is a Spectre? She looks like a teenager." Aroki replied.
Mir'irlia turned to look Aroki. She couldn't hide the concerned look from her doctor. "What I am about to tell you cannot leave this room. I could be fired at the very least for telling you this but your patient is the first human Spectre. I was lucky enough to be the only one of the councilors on the Citadel. Both Sparatus and Valern are back at their respective planets dealing with their governments. I was able to intercept the alert and keep this situation from getting out of hand." Aroki was stunned with what Mir'irlia had just revealed.
"That explains the piercing emerald green eyes. Green is a shade very rarely seen in the Asari. I have only countered it once before. How is this possible? This type of genetic meddling screams highly classified and very illegal. I started an official file Miri…"
"Don't worry about the file. All of your observations would have been transferred into Shepard's Spectre medical file if I hadn't intervened. Shepard and her bond mate deserve some privacy. The weight of the galaxy is on their shoulders. Other than the fact that she hasn't regained consciousness, how is Shepard?"
"Healthy for a young asari maiden. She should wake up on her own but we could force her awake but I wouldn't recommend it. If she wasn't mated already, I would have made a pass. She is incredibly attractive. My nipples have already hardened and my glans are quite slippery." Aroki couldn't keep a smile off of her face.
"Have you no shame Aroki? No wait I know the answer that question already. If you are in need, you know where my private apartment and you know the access code. Just bring a bottle of Thessian red or Noverian Rum with you. My ex never replenished what she pilfered from my private reserves. As for Shepard, her friends are on the way. We need a diversion to get her out of here without drawing any unwanted eyes looking in her direction."
"There is always the tried and true method of using a paralytic and then draping a sheet over her and rolling her out on a gurney. It's rare for anybody to second guess anything around here unless something goes wrong. That is a serious red flag but today I'll make an exception just this once. If she is going to be moved it should be soon. It's easier to move around during the night cycle. You are after all a Citadel Councilor. Some people believe you can move mountains and walk on water. I don't need you to walk on water but rather slip beneath the bubbling waters of a hot tub." Aroki inched closer to Mir'irlia.
"You really are incorrigible. Find me if you are truly suffering." Mir'irlia's omni-tool pinged. She brought up the screen. "Good… some of Shepard's team have arrived. I need go out and let them in. I will be locking this room down when I leave. Do not for any reason open the door for anyone. It's a matter of galactic security." Aroki nodded that she understood Mir'irlia's order. Since she was locked in with the first human Spectre. She sat down in the only chair in the room. It was a cheap metal chair that was bolted down to the floor.
Aroki fell into one of her most favorite memories. She and one of her girlfriends at the time were invited to a private party at Mir'irlia's place. It was just the Aroki, Mir'irlia and their respective girlfriends relaxing in Mir'irlia's private spa. She was jarred out of that favorite memory when the door unlocked and slid open. In walked the most beautiful aside from the unconscious Spectre on the bed nearby. This asari was wearing the most skin tight armor that left nothing for the imagination to fill in. She wondered why the asari would try to carry a concealed weapon inside her armor was a rather strange choice. The asari was incredibly quick. She had sidled up to Shepard in seconds flat. The two were engulfed in a bright blue glow seconds later.
Aroki was surprised when she saw a long blue torpedo pop out from the skin tight armor. This asari lifted up Shepard's flimsy hospital gown and lifted up Shepard's leg. She needed a little more access to Shepard's slippery snatch. How was this possible. How could Shepard be incredibly aroused and slick enough while unconscious? The gorgeous asari slowly pushed her big blue cock into Shepard's slick slit. The asari cupped Shepard's breasts. Aroki was surprised to see Shepard open those gorgeous emerald green eyes right before Shepard cried out in ecstasy as the asari increased her thrusting. The blue light only grew brighter as the couple fell deeper into the troughs of passion.
Aroki was so caught up in what was happening on the bed nearby that she completely forgot there were other people in the room. She nearly jumped out of her seat when she felt someone's hot breath against her neck. "You're not the only one who finds this unbelievable arousing. It's not fair that they get to have all the fun." Mir'irlia ghosted her finger across Aroki's lips. The drell's lips parted open and Mir'irlia took the opportunity to slip her blue finger in passed Aroki's emerald defenses. Not be out done, Aroki slipped her hand underneath Mir'irlia's loose fitting top. Aroki's nimble finger teased Tevos's nipple to its fully taut state.
Mir'irlia looked over to Zoe and Liara. Liara was plunging her thick slick appendage into Zoe's battered azure. The sounds of their love making bounced around the metallic room. Zoe couldn't hold back her moaning which evolved into high pitched squeaking as Liara bottomed out her cock inside Zoe. Liara pinched and tugged on Zoe's rock hard nipples. She nearly ripped them open when her climax came and her cock shot several loads of hot stick blue cum. That sticky blue cum leaked out around Liara's cock. It would have gushed out if Liara removed her large blue plug. She wanted to see Zoe's emeralds but that would slipping out of her lover's sticky full oven. Her latest load was just the right mixture to conceive their child. Liara's eyes shifted from their shiny sapphires into a meld. She usually slipped into a meld before they had sex but Zoe was unconscious at the time. It was incredibly risky to initiate a meld on an unconscious mind.
I thought having that big beautiful blue python inside me while I was a human could not be topped. I was so wrong. Maybe this unbelievable tingling feeling will wear off but I wish it wouldn't. That purple has gotten brighter love. What does that mean? Zoe walked over to Liara and embraced her love and wrapped her arms around the blue beauty. The bright purple glow floated down and into Zoe's belly.
It means that in nine to ten months we will be parents. Remember what I told you, we both want to be parents but because of my condition I cannot have children. You would only be able to bare asari children only after your transformation completed. The thought of being a parent will be both a terrifying and an exhilarating experience. One perk of being asari is that we do not experience the same birthing pains that plague all human women. Our little one will just slide out of you when the time is just right. Your body will painlessly stretch to accommodate the birth. But we have plenty of time to discuss that later. What exactly happened up in the Citadel Tower. I could not sense you after you used that data file from Vigil. I tried everything I could to push passed whatever barrier was between us but had no luck.
It is quite the strange and interesting tale that I'm not sure I entirely believe it myself. What we thought we knew about the galaxy and universe pale in comparison to what I just learned. I was visited by an entity called an overseer. This entity claims to watch over this galaxy. Our research into the disappearing act of the Protheans was correct. The beacon showed us their complete annihilation. This observer told me that every fifty thousand years, the galactic cleaning crew the Protheans called the 'Reapers' come and exterminate every sentient species. Its been going on for millions if not billions of years. The observer told me that our galaxy is slowly dying. There is only a finite amount of resources in our galaxy. I have proven our worth to this observer. There will be no reaper cycle which would have started with Saren opening up the Citadel back door which would allow the reapers to return. Zoe just embraced Liara unsure of their next move. Luckily Liara could easily follow Zoe's train of thought.
We either stay within our own galaxy and eventually we will exhaust all the resources. There will probably be one if not more wars over these dwindling resources. That seems like the only option unless somebody has developed a way to make intergalactic travel a reality. Liara saw a smile appear on Zoe's face.
The observer hinted at the fact that a certain human separatist group who has nearly unlimited resources has supposedly developed a ship that can made the intergalactic trip. We happen to be imitate with the former director of that special project. The observer told me that there is another project looking into intergalactic travel but aren't nearly as advanced as Cerberus. It suggested that we use Miranda's help and lead a raid on Cerberus's main base. While Miranda is loyal to us, she still hasn't told us all of her secrets. We will need her knowledge to infiltrate one if not the most secured base in the galaxy. It will probably be a suicide mission for most of those who participate. Each of our options are long shots with low survival odds. I think raiding the Cerberus base is the better option because they won't see us coming until it's too late.
While your optimism is refreshing, the choices are unsettling. We would need an army to topple Cerberus's main base. Hopefully with Miranda's intel will help us formulate a plan. Did this observer give you any hint of where we would be ending up?
The observer doesn't just over our galaxy but another. The Andromeda Galaxy would be our new hope but I doubt we would receive a warm welcome. It was the same way when we first invited the turians home for dinner. If we had an option of not leaving our own galaxy I would choose it. I don't know Li. We've flown blind before but this is on a level I never expected. It told me that the galaxy has been slowly dying ever since it was created. Everything in the universe has an expiration date apparently. I have put a damper on what should be an event to secretly celebrate. I'm one of you guys now. Zoe caressed Liara's cheek.
That's why I love you Zoe. You bring me back down after I go off on a tangent. You were quite the attractive human but somehow you are even more gorgeous as an asari. I love the way the red of your hair was incorporated into your new body. You are all mine and I'm never letting you go again. Liara leaned into Zoe and kissed Zoe. I want to stay inside our bond forever but that would kill us both eventually due to lack of sleep, water or food. I think you'll wake up too. That will make Mir'irlia and that very attractive female drell that was looking after you.
Did you say female Drell? Is she available to join our group? Zoe couldn't keep that smirk off of her face.
I didn't know we are also building a harem. Well, we can cross off Asari, Human, and Quarian so far. Should I start scouting for compatible turians, krogans, salarians. Should we stop there? What about the Hanar, batarians, even the elcor? Do you think I am strong enough and crazy enough to mount an adult female elcor?
Maybe you are and I would love to have front row seats if do you. The thought of seducing a hanar is rather kinky. What I would kill for is to be back in a comfortable bed. Even through our meld and formerly unconscious, I can tell that we are lying upon one of the worst mattresses in the known universe. I haven't seen the new me yet. Am I as gorgeous as the image in your mind? Zoe backed away from the love of her life and pirouetted on her right foot.
You'll have to see for yourself in a mirror later but I can tell you this. You now rival my mother in the bust department. I'd be jealous if I didn't get the exclusive rights to play with them whenever I want. It also means we need to have you refitted for a whole new wardrobe and armor set unless you want to be uncomfortable in battle. Luckily we can afford to go on an expensive shopping spree. Come on Love. Let's get out of here.
You'll have to give me a crash course on how to be an asari.
We can do that. I'm sure mother and father will help as well. We did save them and got them back together. Liara released the meld. She just snuggled against Zoe for as long as she possibly could until Zoe stretched out her new body. Liara's soft cock slipped out from Zoe's azure. Zoe then swung her legs out over the awfully cheap bed. The metallic floor was cold when her bare feet came into contact. Liara noticed Zoe flinch. She tried to stand but nearly toppled over due to the new extra weight from her larger heavier breasts.
"Zoe you have to be more careful. You've probably put on ten more pounds. You now see why I don't like even cool places without the proper coverings. Our skin is far more sensitive to temperature." LIara looked over at Mir'irlia and the Drell doctor. "Forgive me for my earilier actions. We haven't been formally introduced. I am Liara T'Soni and my bond mate. I guess since it's her birthday she will be needing a whole new identity. Well she is still Zoe Shepard but not for much longer." The new asari gingerly waved at the two other ladies in the room.
"I have been planning for this day for a while and have created a very detailed back story for Zoe. You can easily assume the identity of Zeneessa T'neria. T'neria who made her living as a free lancing mercenary and was very recently hired by my father as a bodyguard after what happened on Therum. You were born in the city of Monoi on the planet Lusia. You were selected out of normal Asari Commando Training to join the Huntress program which my father was able to easily add your name and record to our databanks. Anybody tries to look into your new life, they will not find anything out of the ordinary." Liara took a breath when a knock on the door that was supposed to be secured in a high security wing of Huerta Memorial. The door lock indicator turned from bright red to glowing green right before the door opened. A very unexpected but very welcome sight slowly but gracefully and gingerly walked into the room.
Liara and Zoe reached for weapons that were not there until they realized those none existent side-arms weren't needed. That standard hospital did little to hide Miri's massive erection let alone her massive and thick onyx forest that surrounded the supreme sequoia. To Zoe, Miri was a sight for her tired eyes.
"Zoe… is that…" Miranda lost her gown as she sprinted over to the bed and climbed into the bed, under the thin sheet and curled up next to the blue beauty. Zoe embraced her black haired beauty and kissed the top of her lover's head as she circled the underside of Miri's soft member three times. Miranda sighed as she relaxed into Zoe's arms. Those three circles was Zoe's signal to Miranda that only the two of them knew.
"I am assuming that you were monitoring one of our omni-tools otherwise how could you possibly know of my location unless you've been using some other method like some sort of tracking chip." Zoe joked as she gently stroked Miri's growing member.
"If I was going to do something like that, I would have given a small token that you'd somehow always remember to keep on you. I'd tell you about it because I'd want you to know that somebody has your back and is watching for you." Miranda moaned as her shaft fully thickened up.
"Then you were monitoring Liara's omni-tool. Mine needs a tech expert to look at it. It was best suited for a human female. Clearly, I am no longer human." Zoe lifted her leg and tried to slip the tip of Miranda's hardness inside when a cough came from Mir'irlia.
"Not that I would want to stop you Shepard but I don't think this is the best or the best place for what you are about to start. You don't have the time and I can't guarantee somebody else walking in here. Your friend was determined enough to find a way to see you. Your new anonymity is not guaranteed until we get you out of the hospital. There are too many unknowns here. You need to get to a secure location soon." Mir'irlia looked over at Aroki. "Is your patient ready to be discharged? The sooner she leaves the less likely she is to be noticed."
"I can discharge her shortly. I just want to make sure she is in good health. She came in and was borderline comatose. One just doesn't simply walk away from a condition like that very easily." Aroki brought up her portable scanner and ran the focused beam over Zoe's body. "As your attending physician, I am releasing you into the custody of Liara T'Soni. You are to remain on light duty for ten to fourteen days. Take it easy until you get used to your new body. Liara was right you are several cup sizes bigger and a few inches taller. Gravity will take a new toll on you. It was nice to meet you all but you are not my only patient. I am still running tests on a fowl smelling hanar who came in with a nasty infection yesterday. Here's hoping, I figure out what and where this hanar picked up this infection." Aroki checked her appearance as she made her way to the door before she exited the room.
Mir'irlia brought up her omni-tool. "I've contacted my driver with my private sky-car. They will be arriving shortly up on the room. Liara, I have sent you the security override that will give you access you need not only leave this ward but get you all up to the roof sky deck. My driver will leave the car there. It will be up to you to get to your final destination. The less I know about where you are going the more I can help keep the others off of your back Zoe." Mir'irlia walked over to the bed and leaned into Zoe. She rested her forehead against Zoe's. The new asari felt a slight biotic tingle before the councilor pulled away. Mir'irlia quickly left the room after that.
Liara and Miranda helped Zoe to her feet. Miranda unabashedly copped a feel of Zoe's new and larger breast. Miranda was amazed with how soft new asari skin could be. Liara explained that it will toughen up over time but that Zoe should be extra careful for the next six months. Zoe would be prone to bruise more easily. Liara rummaged around the room and found two sets of scrubs. Neither set could adequately cover the ample assets of Zoe or Miranda but they would have to do. Neither lady had any other bit of clothing other than those awful hospital gowns. Miranda stayed by Zoe's side as the trio made their way out of the prison ward and up to the roof. Zoe smiled as Miranda gave her support.
As Mir'irlia had told them there was a skycar waiting for them, Miranda sat behind the controls and powered the car up. Liara as being Zoe's second in command with Miranda still injured had the Normandy dock at one of the asari councilor's private docking bays rather than one of the Alliance docking bays. She messaged Karin to say that she had both Miranda and Zoe with and they were making their way to the ship. Karin messaged back what she should tell the crew. Liara showed the message to Zoe. Zoe gave the main crew six hours of shore leave and to assemble the inner circle for a meeting and a debriefing.
Millions upon millions of thoughts ran through Zoe's mind as she leaned up against Liara as Miranda piloted the sky car to docking bay four. Liara turned her head towards Zoe's and gently kissed the top of her bond mates head. The two didn't need to share any actual words to know the other loved them with their all. The sky car touched down near the empty docking bay. Miranda took point as the trio quickly made their way back to the Normandy. The trio remained silent as they underwent the decontamination cycle. After Miranda said she was going to find some clothes that fit and would rejoin them for the briefing. It felt strange to be back home on the most advanced Alliance warship. Zoe and Liara walked hand in hand towards the comm. room. They were greeted by Karin just in front of the star map.
"You did it. Somehow in some way you actually did it. It's either that or Liara is cheating on our feisty fearless leader?" Both Zoe and Liara smiled at Karin's humor.
Zoe slowly walked into the embrace of the woman who raised her more than her actual mother ever did. Zoe had tears in her eyes. "Auntie Wren, it's really me." Zoe kissed her aunt on the cheek. "We had help from the asari councilor who will take care as much as she can on her end. I still have no idea what to do about the Alliance. Commander Zoe Maria Shepard is no longer human. I am becoming Zeneessia T'neria who is a fully trained Asari Huntress but not a council SPECTRE nor is she in command of the most advanced stealth warship." Zoe rested her head against Karin's large welcoming breast.
"I believe the announcement will come soon that Commander Zoe Shepard was killed in the assault on the Citadel. It was why I had Mir'irlia give us access to her private docking bay. I had a feeling we would be needing to avoid the Alliance for the near future. We may end up stealing the Normandy but I have an idea that I need to confirm with Miranda during our debriefing." Liara saw Karin signal her she wanted a quick word. Liara nodded. "Love, why don't you find something more tempting?" Liara couldn't help but smile at her joke but knowing Zoe she actually would find something tempting. Karin and Liara watched the newly born asari slowly make her way down to deck two.
Karin turned to Liara and unzipped the top of her uniform before she pulled out her ample breasts. The only other person on the main deck was joker and he always locked himself away in the cockpit. There was a very low chance of anybody else walking in on the two ladies. "I think my transition has already begun." Karin pointed to two thin blue circles around the border of her areolas. "I believe this is a psychosomatic effect Liara. My body is interpreting my deep desires and I'm actually getting a physical response. It just makes me want to up the speed of my conversion." Karin said as she pulled her large breasts back into her uniform.
"The scientist and researcher in me cannot wait to see what happens next but I don't know when Zoe and I will have a chance to thoroughly thrash you. We believe our fearless leader is going to be taking us on quite an adventure. I wish we didn't have to fix the galaxy's problems but it would fall apart if nobody stepped up. Wow, she really does look good in anything." Across the CIC, Liara saw Zoe wearing a bright silver Alliance tank top that was stretched to the limits. Zoe chose to match her top with silver yoga pants. Liara thought he hot pink thong sticking up from the waist band was a nice touch. "Shall we going our lover and see where she is taking us?"
Karin and Liara followed Zoe's lead into the comm. room. They were the last to arrive but strangely Zoe wasn't standing front and center. She was leaning up against the wall somewhat hiding in the shadows of the room. It was Miranda who stood up and got the debriefing started.
"I would like to thank everybody for coming. Though I have been laid up in the hospital for some time, I have kept tabs on pretty much everything that occurred on and off board. I'd like to thank all who kept up to date with their mission reports. As for the last mission…" Miranda was interrupted by Garrus.
"… I know you mean well Ma'am but where is the Commander? Shouldn't she be leading the meeting?" Garrus instantly shut up after receiving quite a strong look from Miranda until she let a smile.
Miranda looked over to the asari leaning against the far wall. "Should tell them or would you like to do the honors?"
"I wouldn't want to steal your thunder that you always bring from down under." Zoe chuckled at the look Miranda shot her. "Maybe introductions are in order. I am longer Commander Zoe Maria Shepard the first human SPECTRE. Hell I'm no longer human and I couldn't be any happier. Well I suppose I could be but that won't be for another year or so." Zoe looked over at Liara and gave her a knowing smile. "For those who do not know, Liara is truly one of a kind. It was because of her that I was able to undergo this transformation. I won't go into the exact specifics but we are truly bonded and I believe that helped immensely. I would recommend you all learn my new name and background quickly. I believe the Council will be announcing the death of Commander Shepard very soon. I am now Zeneessa T'neria a fully trained Asari Huntress. I'll copy all of you my new dossier. We need to talk about the last mission and where we are going next." As Zoe was talking she took her seat at the center of the room.
"The mission to Ilos was a success but not in the way I expected. Somehow Ilos and the Citadel were linked by a mass effect relay. That mass effect relay statue in the middle of large lake on the Presidium is an actual working relay. I believe it's only an one way relay. Anyways, while on Ilos, we ran into a working Prothean VI who gave us an override that gave me control of the Citadel. Our tank somehow survived a mass relay jump. Tali, how is the our prototype doing?"
Tali was still trying to come to grips that Zoe was now an asari. "It was thanks to Garrus and his quick thinking. He was in the right place at the right time. The tank was about to be confiscated by C-SEC but Garrus stepped in and called in a huge favor he was owed. You might as well send it back to the Alliance Zeneessa. I had installed a monitoring program that synced up with the Hammerhead's operating systems. When I booted up the program, it nearly crashed my omni-tool. That only happens when there are major problems with almost every system. It would take more time and money to restore the tank. Both of which are in very short supply."
"Thank you Tali, I have a special project for you. Please stay behind after the debriefing." Zoe could feel Tali smiling even if Tali still chose to wear her full suit. "Now when the Hammerhead shot out from the presidium relay, I tasked myself with infiltrating and installing the Citadel override. You all know I am a top notch infiltrator when I work alone. Thanks to my bond and link with Liara, I am never truly alone. I was able to slip passed two heavily armed squads of C-SEC tactical units and made my way up the main elevator shaft. I don't recommend that way as slow as those elevators are physically climbing that shaft is draining."
Zoe looked over at Garrus, "Whomever is in charge of your tactical response unit should be fired. They left the council chambers unguarded. A bonus for me that I didn't have to take a life unnecessarily. After uploading the override, I was visited by some entity that I cannot begin to explain but I reviewed my helmet cam footage. The footage cut out right before this visitor arrived. I know it sounds hard to believe but what the visitor told me is one hundred percent true." Zoe took a moment and read the room. She wouldn't lie to her crew.
"This entity called itself an observer. Its job is to monitor our galaxy. It revealed to me that our galaxy is slowly dying and has been ever since their kind created the Milky Way. Our galaxy only has a finite amount of resources and once they run out, that is it my friends. The death of our galaxy This observer uses the reapers as sort of a galactic janitorial service. They come around every fifty thousand years and clean out the most advanced species so that the ones still evolving have a better chance surviving. It happened to the Protheans. It happened to the races that came before the Protheans and it would have happened to us." Zoe took a break. She wished she had brought a drink with her. Her mouth was starting to feel parched. Liara quickly slipped out of the room and fetched her lover that glass of water.
Wrex gruffly barked out, "What do you mean it would have happened to us? That implies that the reapers are not going to be invading anytime soon. What about Saren? Are we still chasing after Saren?" Wrex started to pace. It was unwise to agitate a bloody krogan in such a confined space as an Alliance Frigate.
"As far as Saren is considered, he is an unknown entity as well. I have no idea if the turian is still alive or not. I believe that if he was truly aligned with the reapers, he will not be a problem. It will have to be classified as another one of life's unknowns." Zoe accepted the glass of water from Liara and took a long sip. "We can either dwell in the past which will get us nowhere or we can move forward. The Observer told me that there is a secret group with secret but extremely wealthy backers looking into if it was possible to leave the galaxy. An Alliance based group was also looking into leaving but that plan will probably be shut down now that the reapers are not a factor. If this observer can be believed that is."
Zoe looked over at Miranda. "Did a project Maastamuutto ever cross your desk Miranda? There is really only one privately funded pain in the ass organization in our galaxy that would have the unlimited resources." Zoe looked over at Miranda who was quickly working away on her omni-tool. While she was the second in command at Cerberus, she installed several back doors that were never discovered.
"Ahh yes Project Maastamuutto head by Cerberus scientist Aulikki Leppänen. The project was officially shut down. However, according to this report it was discretely merged into another program. The program was teamed with another. Cerberus wanted to recruit you by any means necessary. They would be even willing to bring you back from the dead. That was the research I was heavily investing almost all of my time. There was talk about calling it Project Lazarus." Miranda powered down her onmi-tool and readjusted herself. This was not one of her custom fit bras and the underwire was starting to dig into her skin.
"I was planning on striking a blow against Cerberus by hopefully infiltrating their main base. According to the Observer, Cerberus has a ship that can travel between galaxies. This entire plan is based on the choice to willingly leave this galaxy on the whim and the word of someone called an observer. So here we are at a crossroads." Zoe finished her glass of water.
"It would be doable but it would require more planning and time than we currently have. We'd need to have a special Cerberus IFF to even enter the system without alerting the advanced Cerberus defense systems. I doubt the Normandy's stealth systems would be truly invisible to TIM's defenses. I'm sure he acquired the plans to the Normandy somehow and has had his team develop some form of countermeasures to deal our ship's advanced stealth systems. Otherwise, it would be quite the suicide mission. That I wouldn't recommend." Miranda stood up and stretched. She hoped to catch Ash's eye. The lady in onyx did catch the gunnery chief's eye and gave her a knowing smile.
Zoe stood up and looked around the room. "We really a bunch of misfits and outcasts. What would we have to lose by leaving this galaxy. I bloody well saved this galaxy from complete annihilation and it got me killed. Well in the sense that I can never go back to being Commander Zoe Shepard. I don't blame anyone if they wish to remain but for myself, I don't see any reason for staying. I've got nine hundred or so more years to live give or take a few. Why waste it in a galaxy that will eventually collapse in on itself. We'd have to completely reorder the way things are run in this galaxy to have everybody on a level playing field. That would no doubt lead into war and bloodshed. For those who want to stay the door is open for you to leave but all here are welcomed to join me wherever I end up. Who's up for another great adventure?"
The rest of her trusted crew looked around the room at each other. This debriefing was nothing like what they had expected. Zoe could see that in their eyes. She had doubt about Williams. Ash was very loyal to those who earned it. She took her oaths of service very seriously. Zoe doubted that Ash could have ever chosen to abandon the Alliance if it weren't for Miranda. Zoe had seen the spark between them. Love conquers all.
"If we are all going to do this then we are going to need the help from the best thief in the galaxy. It's not like Cerberus will let Miranda waltz onto their ship and take it for a joy ride. But it is going to be one hell of a ride." Zoe took Liara by the hand and left the comm. room. She needed to be alone with the one person who was the beacon of light in the growing sea of darkness.
