Hi, I have good news, we have just adopted two new kittens. Niko and Flooffy the Buddha slayer, tortoise shell kittens. They have already tried to push a small Buddha statue off my desk... twice. And my step father has bought another parts car for his racing cars. Yay... more hard work. Work is going better, I am getting along with a few of my coworkers, but my manager... he's... old fashioned to put it lightly. At least I can listen to music while I work. I am still drained of energy, but it isn't as bad as it was a few days ago... I don't like working from 8 am to 8 pm... it sucks... a lot.
'Twenty one, good. We all passed.' I looked up and noticed that the Inasa from the other top school was giving Todoroki the stink eye. 'From what I've heard he got top in the recommended exams for UA. And he eliminated the most during this exam.' I pushed my self off the wall and walked over to him, many of the other students getting out of my way. "Hello, Yoarashi was it?" I asked.
He looked away from Todoroki with a start, "Oh, hi. You are Fuma. Man you showed such heroic passion during the sports festival." He said. "And that display of power in the Semi Finals! It was like I was watching All Might!"
"Then you are among few, most see me as to harsh to be a Hero... not to mention... recent developments to put it lightly." I said.
He blinked the rubbed the back of his head as he caught on. "I suppose finding out your own brother is a villain wouldn't help with this career. Though it's..."
"I don't need encouragement, let's just cut to the chase. Do you have a issue with my friend Todoroki? I have been watching you give him the evil eye for the past minute." I cut him off. "I don't do well with people going after my friends." 'They are all I have.' Though I didn't add that last part.
He remained silent for a second. "No, I don't."
"Good." And I walked away, feeling the eyes on me I just shrugged the feeling off and went back to my class.
"Hey, what was that about?" Sero asked.
"I was just curious is all." I waved it off as I leaned back against the wall and waited for the next part of the exam. Luck would have it that it wasn't too much longer.
Chapter 75: Provisional Exam part 6
I had my eyes closed when the announcement came. "We are now proceeding with the next phase of the exam, please turn your attention to the various screens in the waiting area." I looked up at the screen, it showed the exam area, but then with a thunderous shockwave I watched as explosives went off. dust clogging the air as the mock building collapsed and crumbled.
"What are they doing?" Uraraka asked.
"It's a disaster zone..." Iida said, but then out of the rubble came people, clothes torn and bloodied.
"This can't be real..." Deku said.
"Now don't worry, these are actors hired to help with the exam." The tired announcer yawned. "You will be marked on how you handle this disaster simulation. You may begin." The building folded out and the schools spread out. Our class split up into small groups. Bakugo and his little group of fools went off to the mountains, Todoroki, Froppy, Tokoyami and Hagakure went to the river.
"Saiyan, this area is clear of people, blast a open area with a Ki pulse." Astero said as several glowing screens came up, his scouter lighting up as he scanned the area. He pointed to the center of a intersection. I stood in the center and pushed out my Ki, turning the surrounding rubble to dust and blowing it all away. "Good work Saiyan."
"Tsk, let's just get to work, you have a extra scouter?" I asked. As the others got to work, I over heard a small man... child person dig into Deku about how he was going about with his hero work. Astero tossed me a scouter which I caught with one hand.
"You have to calm down the people and reassure them, make them feel that everything will be alright." He said to the class. He continued to lecture them as I looked around, scanning for people. My scouter went off and I looked as Deku ran off with the person in his arms towards the main recovery area.
I activated the comm link to the others, "Let's get started, I have located several civilians trapped beneath the rubble." We began the rescue effort, shifting the rubble, and I would carry away the large chunk to outside the mock city, I wasn't the best when it came to dealing with the civilians. The first one I saw I nearly shouted at to stop crying... it was a lot harder for me to be nice without Deku around.
'This whole place is setting off my Saiyan side, like there should be someone to fight.' I thought to myself, I tried to shrug it off.
"Help! I'm stuck!" I heard from under a collapsed building.
I scanned and sure enough he was under it. "It'll be alright, just have to see the best way to get you out of there!" I said as I quickly flew around the ruined building and saw that aside for the base it was almost entirely intact. "Just stay calm, I just need to move this." I dug my hands under edge and slowly powered up.
"Stay calm? I have a building... AH!" I saw the man as I lifted the building up into the air over my head.
"ECLIPSE!" The Ki wave vaporized the building "All you alright, everything will be fine." I kneeled down in front of the man. "Where are you hurt?"
"My... my LEG!" He gestured as I looked down at it. the pant leg was torn up and covered in fake blood. I tried to not yell at him for yelling at me.
"I said to stay calm." I said to my self. "Okay. Just give me a moment." I tapped the button on my scouter. "Tech, I need First Aid supplies, sending you my coordinates." I tried to calm the man down as I waited. "It's going to be alright."
"It's on it's way." I heard over my scouter. I looked back towards the rest of my class as a blue holographic box brought over the supplies and it vanished dropping it on the ground in a pile. "There you go."
"Little half-breed punk." I said under my breath as I picked op the plastic box, opening it up I got to work wrapping up the injurie. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" I asked, just wanting this to be over.
"N-no..." He said still taken aback by my display of power. I lifted him up in my arms.
"Stay still, I'll be taking you to the main relief area." I said as I flew up into the air and over the ruined buildings I saw the relive area. "Okay, I'll speed up a bit, just let me know when it's too much." In a instant I was at that relief area. "And we are here." I set him down as another student walked over to us.
"Hello, what are his injuries?" She asked.
"A leg injury, I have already dressed the wound." I said as Deku arrived... how had I got here first?
"Good, that should make it easier." Then a explosion rang out, a plume of dust and smoke rose not too far from the relief area. "What was that?"
"I'll check it out." I flew up in the air, and I saw many men in black suits and launcher devices on their arms, led by a what appeared to be a half Orca-half man in a suit and metal bracers. "It's the number ten Hero Gang Orca!" Dating a fanboy had it's perks.
"Foolish heroes, we will tear you apart!" He shouted.
Hey, update on the cats. They have tried to kill my Buddha statue a third time and knocked over my pasta bowl when I wasn't looking.
