Naruto: They Live Fanfiction
I made up this story based on the movie,
THEY LIVE
They Live is a 1988 American science-fiction, horror film written and directed by John Carpenter, based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" by Ray Nelson, Starring Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster. The film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.
What if Naruto was in Roddy s position? But in a different standout. The timeline is in the Shippuden Arc. Naruto wakes up in the Hot Water Village, with no memory of how or why is he in the Hot Water Village? He notices that he has a note that was in his traveling backpack, where it tells him that he needs to be in the Cloud Village. The note informs that the people and the ninja living in the Village are acting strange. The economy is rising, mission ranks have more money, and people are wearing golden watches? Something is not right. He goes to the Cloud Village, not wearing his attire, and not wearing his headband. Naruto goes there to find some shades that reveal what is going on, which escalates to him and his fellow tail beast siblings to fend for themselves, and save the village from an unknown threat that can rule the world of Shinobi.
So with that, let's begin the story.
Chapter One: Waking Up
In the Hot Water Village, the people are just minding their own business. Going on their day, with nothing to create a scene that will do absolutely nothing at all. In the front gate, lays a down beaten, and tired Naruto Uzumaki. He wakes up to find out that he is laying on the ground, with his clothes ruined, and less bloody. Naruto felt a nagging pain in his head, but it goes away quickly. He questions why is he here in the Hot Water Village. He notices that his travel backpack is a few inches away from him and some clothes that may be meant for him. Confused and extremely tired, he retrieves his belongings, removes his clothes, and puts on some Denim Male Japanese clothing, not noticing that he had forgotten his headband. He leaves the Village to go back home. Naruto spots a book with some pictures attached to it. In it are his surrogate mother and father Jiraiya and Tsunade, with his big sister Shizune holding Ton-Ton. Next to him is his lover, Hinata. He recalls the time where both confessed their love to each other, making him blush red when Hinata kissed him with lots of love and passion. After that make-out session was over, Naruto was the one to pass out with a smile on his face, still looking red. Naruto smiles at that memory but remembers his parents as well. He realizes that they might be worried sick for him, and needs to get back to the Leaf Village. He puts the book away and leaves.
A note has fallen off the book and he picks it up. The note reads...
Dear Naruto,
We need your help. Me and Killer B have begun to notice a change in our village. The shinobi are acting really aggressive with those who made some small mistakes and end up getting arrested. The villager's business is starting to rise, and are making more than we suspected. They seem to have golden watches that for some reason, teleports them to god knows where. I fear that something is not right. Our Raikage is also acting strange. Naruto if you read this, then we need your help now. I don't know what is going on, but we to get to the bottom of this.

Naruto*now confused*: Weird, well whatever that this person wants, I can't seem to not help them anyway. But what about the others. I can't leave them, what would my parents think if I leave them. What about Hinata? I will not abandon them, but the note that I read is serious. Plus, these people are like me. I need to go to the Cloud Village as soon as possible.
With that Naruto travels to the Cloud Village while he passes from his Village without care. His body is extremely tired and he needed a spot to set up camp. Naruto stops to set up a camp, where he can rest easy and find food to eat. Thankfully, he found some fish to cook, he sets up a camp to sleep, eats, and goes to bed.
He dreams of the days where he was hated for being the tail beast container. Crying and being isolated, beaten, and almost dying. Until a light was rising. There he sees his adopted parents that took care of him when they found him almost dead and laying in the ground. The scene changes where he and Hinata are sitting on top of the Hokage mountains, where they sit close to each other, holding on to each other and slowly kissed when the sun was going down.
He wakes up, irritated that the dream is over, but has a mission to do, and goes to find the Cloud Village. Finally, he is at the front gates of the Cloud Village and enters.
Meanwhile.
The Village Hidden in the Leaves today is calm and less active. The people in the village are having a regular day, but it almost feels likes things are getting slower and slower. Nothing interesting is happening. Business is all slow and gloomy. Kids are running, adults walking, and the Shinobi are not as active as they are when it comes to missions. In the Village, there is an Ichiraku Ramen Shop, where there is someone alone sitting in a spot where Naruto use to sit. That said person is Hinata Hyuga. She is eating her ramen, but with no happiness in it. She is depressed and sad. Why? It is because Naruto is not returning from a mission he had for the Hot Water Village. She begins to fear that something is wrong.
Hinata: Why is Naruto not returning from his mission? Why is he not here with me right now? Oh, this is not right. Naruto, please come home. Jiraiya and Tsunade are very upset and worried sick for you. Our friends are worried about you. I'm worried about you.
With a tear in her eye, she prays for Naruto to come back home.
She was not the only one who misses Naruto. Tsunade and Jiraiya were at their home, looking at the clear sky of the village. Tsunade was worried sick when Naruto didn't return from the mission that he received. She began to fear that something was wrong at that her Naruto needed help. Jiraiya tries to ensure her that maybe Naruto is just relaxing and needed some time to relax his body. She tries to think that statement is true but during her time playing casino games, winning them felt like something is not okay. She needed to act fast as she can, and try to find Naruto, and pray that he is in one piece.
