I made up this story based on the movie,

THEY LIVE

They Live is a 1988 American science-fiction, horror film written and directed by John Carpenter, based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" by Ray Nelson, Starring Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster. The film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.

What if Naruto was in Roddy's position? But in a different standout. The timeline is in the Shippuden Arc. Naruto wakes up in the Hot Water Village, with no memory of how or why is he in the Hot Water Village? He notices that he has a note that was in his traveling backpack, where it tells him that he needs to be in the Cloud Village. The note informs that the people and the ninja living in the Village are acting strange. The economy is rising, mission ranks have more money, and people are wearing golden watches? Something is not right. He goes to the Cloud Village, not wearing his attire, and not wearing his headband. Naruto goes there to find some shades that reveal what is going on, which escalates to him and his fellow tail beast siblings to fend for themselves, and save the village from an unknown threat that can rule the world of Shinobi.

So with that, let's begin the story.

Oh! I forgot to say that I do not own the series and the movie too!

Chapter Two: Hello Cloud Village

When entering the Cloud Village, Naruto looked at the buildings which are very huge. There were big signs all around the Village, there were people wearing business clothes, and a big power source that is on top of the Raikage Building. The shinobi are coming in and out of the Village from mission to mission. Some business owners are having the best time in their lives for making a lot of coustomers and money too. There is also a big screen TV showing off how successful the Cloud Village is and how most of the nations would probably lose everything. Naruto is amazed by what he has seen, and decided to find a place to stay in while not gettimg caught as an intruder. He needed to rename himself as something to not get any attention to the shinobi, and the Raikage himself. The name he can come up with was 'Nada'. It was not the name he thought would work, but he prayed that it would be convincing enough to the public. 'Nada' went to find a job first to make some money, but there was none for him. But he does find a job as a constructor. So with that, he is now looking for a place to stay for a while. 'Nada' heard some shouting in the Village where he saw some people in an abandon area where a man who looks to be 60 years old, wearing an old rusty and dirty suit, preaching to the villagers with his beliefs on the Village.

Old Preacher: WAKE UP! EVERYBODY, 'THEY' HAVE BEEN LYING TO YOU! 'THEY' HAVE BEEN USING US FOR THEIR OWN DISGUSTING AGENDAS! 'THEY' HAVE USED THE GREED TO PUSH DOWN THE LOWER CLASS AND OTHER NATIONS MONEY! PLEASE, WAKE UP! 'THEY' ARE AMOUNG US! WE CANNOT LOSE TO THEM!

Most of the people were looking at him like crazy, Some began to listen, while others just ignored the crazy man's words. But 'Nada' got interested with the things he heard, but did not want any trouble. As he was walking in the streets of the Village, there are two people that are watching him in the tall buildings while not to be caught. Those two individuals are Yugito Nii and Killer B.

Yugito Nii: So he read our letter. Plus, with the old preacher giving out the issues of thr Village, he could be interested to help us. Let's hope that this kid is not interested at the things he saw in the Village. We need the help we can get to find out what is going on.

Killer B: Don't rush it, just don't push it. Let the 9 tails kid figure it out, we can't do anything but scouting out for him. You know what will happen if they see us. They won't hesitate to beat us up.

Yugito Nii*concered and understanding*: Agree, we need to move. I feel like something is coming in our way.

As B was going to follow his partners order, he notices that Naruto is not wearing his headband.

Killer B: Hey Yugito, did you notice that the kid has no headband?

Yugito didn't finished to respond B's questions when a few ANBU guards walking to their location.

Yugito Nii*alarmed*: Crap! Not now B, we have to go, Now!

Boht left wihout leaving a trace! The ANBU appeared at their location, but they have left.

ANBU guard(32): Damn! They left.

ANBU guard(22) Don't worry, we will notify the others about these rebels. C'mon, the Raikage needs up right now.

ANBU guard(32): Uh yeah. Say, do you realize thst our Raikage is a bit to harsh and agressive?

ANBU guard(22) Nah! Just go!

The next day, 'Nada' goes to find the job he was assigned to find people working on the constuction that needed to be fixed. He spots one of the leaders to be C. Now why would be there as a construction leader, well it is because that the Raikage did not needed him for any mission that he needed to finish since the Village is now the richest of all nations. C is mad at the decision that his leader made, since it makes him look weak and less serious as a ninja. Right now, he is now a construction leader that works to destroy and rebuild the old buildings. As he was preparing for destruction, 'Nada' goes to meet him.

Naruto(As Nada): Hey, I am here for the job thing.

C*looks at his paper work and to him*: Oh hey. 'Nada' right? Well need some help, just make sure that you help us fix and destroy. So that the people can find a nice play to stay. Just one question, you look a bit familiar to someone, related or affiliated with Naruto Uzumaki?

Naruto(As Nada)*Scared*: Uh No! I do not know him. Nor do I look like him, I am just a foreigner, nothing else.

C: Oh, okay. Just making sure. Welcome to the Job. Follow me to the soup shop, there are some people that I want you to meet.

With the conversation coming to an end, they go to the soup shop to meet the others for the orderes they were given to. 'Nada' is glad that he did not get caught and is glad to meet the people that does not notice that it is Naruto, but his apperance changed. Naruto begins to wonder about his family and friends trying to find his location or where he went off to. He doesn't mind the thought but is afraid of what would happen if his girlfriend, his mother, and his sister began to feel worry sick for their blonde ninja.

In the Hot Water Village

Shizune and Kakashi were scouting at each building and houses to find Naruto. It had been days since he was missing and that Tsunade felt that he was in trouble and needed some help. Shizune reluctantly asked for this mission because Naruto really meant a lot to her since she viewed him as her precious little baby brother and that her big sister mode just risen up. But she needed some help to find her little brother, so she recruited her lover Kakashi since both him and Naruto had a sibling bond and that Kakashi too was worried that something was not right. As they were looking at each building, Shizune spoke...

Shizune*mad*: DAMN IT! We can't find him Kakashi! It has been days since Naruto had that mission. I am beginning to feel like he left the Village just to prank us, right? Please tell me this is all a big joke hun?

Kakashi did not like it when Shizune was acting like this. She is at the verg of tears and looks like she is trying to calm herself of the situation that they are dealing with. Naruto meant a lot not just for Shizune, but for those that let Naruto into their hearts with love and care he shown. He goes up to her, hugs her, and kisses her forehead.

Kakashi: Look Shizune, don't lose help. We will find Naruto, let us hope that he is not hurt. He won't like it when his big sister is feeling sad.

Shizune*still shaky*: Okay, I am feeling a bit better. Thanks hun.

Shizune wipes her tears and is now a bit better. She loved Kakashi and is glad that he will always make her feel better when she is feeling sad sometimes. They contiune to search for Naruto when Kakashi spotted something that he pryaed it was not real. There, laying in the cover dirt was Naruto's clothes, dirty, bloody, and torn. Right next to the clothes were a headhand that was about to be broken. In that moment, he felt that something was gone, a piece of him was taken. Kakashi believed that Naruto Uzumaki, a friend, an ally, his little brother is now dead. Right now, he is holding the old and dirty clothes along side of a headband ready to hold the pain that is feeling right now.

Kakashi*Sad and beginning to shed tears*: Please, let it not be real. Please tell me this a cruel joke. Naruto, you cannot be dead. Tsunade, Jiraiya, oh Hinata.

He holds on to the clothes, and is crying his heart out. Shizune spotted Kakashi holding something that she did not recognize, but when she got a clear view of what he was holding and the tears spilling out on his face, she felt like she wanted to die.

Shizune*now is crying with pain in heart*: No. Please no. My little brother, please you c-c-can't be dead. K-kashi, please tell me this a big fat joke right?

With that, she lost it. She ran up to Kakashi and was crying her heart out while she was holding onto him. She was screaming Naruto's name with her moaning in pain and sorrow. Kakashi too felt the urge of screaming. But not now, he was hugging onto Shizune with every bit of sence to live. Both were crying to realize that Naruto is now dead and that they did not do anything to save him. Both failed as brother/sister to help out their little brother. Both failed to keep him safe in their arms, they did not know what to say about this sad discovery, After that, they left with tear stains in their faces, trying to hold in a straight face while hiding their sadness and grief to give out the news that Naruto is gone.

Uh Oh! Both believe that Naruto is dead. That's not true, he is still alive, just staying in the cloud Village. Let's hope that Naruto comes up with a great explation with what has happen.
