I made up this story based on the movie,

THEY LIVE

They Live is a 1988 American science-fiction, horror film written and directed by John Carpenter, based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" by Ray Nelson, Starring Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster. The film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.

What if Naruto was in Roddy's position? But in a different standout. The timeline is in the Shippuden Arc. Naruto wakes up in the Hot Water Village, with no memory of how or why is he in the Hot Water Village? He notices that he has a note that was in his traveling backpack, where it tells him that he needs to be in the Cloud Village. The note informs that the people and the ninja living in the Village are acting strange. The economy is rising, mission ranks have more money, and people are wearing golden watches? Something is not right. He goes to the Cloud Village, not wearing his attire, and not wearing his headband. Naruto goes there to find some shades that reveal what is going on, which escalates to him and his fellow tail beast siblings to fend for themselves, and save the village from an unknown threat that can rule the world of Shinobi.

So with that, let's begin the story.

Oh! I forgot to say that I do not own the series and the movie too!

Chapter Three: The Rebels/Authority Strikes

C: Well Nada, hope you get to get along with the people here. Some do not like to start convos, but you will try to do whatever you feel is necessary. I am going out to do something really quick, see you soon.

'Nada' at the front of the shop, entering the Soup Shop to eat. 'Nada' meets some fellow Cloud Ninja now as constructors since they too suffered the same fate as C experienced when the Raikage There sitting right beside a small TV were Darui, Samui, and Karui. 'Nada' is shocked to see them working but not as fellow Shinobi, but put to jobs that make some ninjas look like jokes. Darui recalled a time where he was called by the Raikage about what will happen to him and the others that he believed he did not need their assistance anymore. He and the others were shocked about the decision that he made, but could not do anything about it. They felt that all the money was changing the behavior of everybody, but they can not change what had happened. Darui notices that 'Nada' is coming in the direction that he and his fellow workers are in. There, a conversation follows...

Nada: Hello, I'm new here. So is this a seat where I could sit? Hope I am not bothering you guys.

Darui: No, welcome to the job. You must be the new guy, right? Be prepared for this, some do not like the idea of destroying and rebuilding. It is a bit of a hassle and something that none of us do feel interested in.

Samui: Yeah, it does get annoying since we use to work like ninja.*mutters something about things being unfair*

Nada: Oh, sorry that you guys are not ninja anymore.

Darui: It ain't that bad. I mean, I do not have to do any missions that are not hard and complicated. Name?

Nada: Name's Nada. Nice to meet you.

Karui looks at Nada and questions, not his appearance, but his choice in name.

Karui: Nada? What kind of name is that? Foreigners like you don't seem to look like they belong anywhere.

'Nada' is a bit upset at her comment but thankfully, Samui stops Karui for any mean comment about 'Nada'.

Samui: That's enough Karui. Don't be rude to the new guy. We do not need any hostile behavior from you, anyways welcome Nada. I hope that we get to work well and get to know each other.

Darui: Yeah, come sit with us. We got some food here that you might like.

Nada: Thank you. I really appreciate it.

With the conversation coming to an end, they began to eat what they have been given. Plus, there was a TV that is set for them to watch. Some channels had some things that interested some of them, but for some weird reason, the TV begins to act up.

Darui: Dammit. I swear that the TV was working fine.

Karui: Well what you look at that. The guy that thought he could fix this stupid TV would end up being broken at some point!

Darui*Now annoyed*: Hey! Do not get all mad at me, I thought that the TV would-

Interrupted by the noises and static of the TV, changes to a fellow villager along with a few people on the screen. The villager appears to be in their 40's, wearing shades too. Right behind him were Yugito Nii and Killer B.

Hacker Villager: ATTENTION! People in the Cloud Village, I give you news about what is going on in our home. Beware of Greed! Beware of our Raikage, he is not what he seems to be! You are being lied too! 'They' are putting you into a sleep where they make you consume, buy, and reproduce. Scientists have been warning us! Our leader has BACKSTAB US! Wake Up! 'They' are here to take over our home! Please, come and join us-*Statics to change to regular TV*

Everyone present saw what was on the TV were confused. A hacker just used their TV to inform them about something that they thought was just a dumb rumor, but some did not buy what the guy was talking about. What is amazing is that Karui, Darui, and Samui saw their old friends appearing in the message video. It has been rumored that both of them have been fugitives for rebelling the Raikage's new attitude and how things are changing. They are also apart of a rebel team that is trying to bring down the Raikage and the power too. C appears in the shop where he spots the 4 sitting together when the TV was acting up.

C: Everyone, breaks over. Let's go do our jobs. We do not want to anger the Raikage for not doing our task.

Darui was still looking at the TV but notices C's arrival. Then he speaks to him.

Darui: Wait C! Did you got any weird message from watching the TV? Yugito and B were just there!

C: Um, no. Why? What happens? Did the TV act up? Plus, why mention those two, we know that they cannot be trusted.

Darui*now serious*: Look, I know that they do not like the way things are. However, we cannot do anything since we are not ninja anymore. But we will not let our friends be suffering from the Raikage!

C*getting angry*: Enough Darui! I get it! But do want to get the Raikage on our bad side? It's bad enough that the rebels are trying to make things worse for everybody! Just forget it, and get ready for our task!

Karui was now annoyed and confused about what has happened.

Karui: The Hell was that? It almost felt that I had a bad headache watching the dumb TV thing!

Samui: Come to think of it, I too felt a raging headache but it is gone. Nada?

'Nada' wasn't listing to Samui because when he saw the message, he felt that something was off. But he was out of his thought when Samui was calling for him.

Nada: What? Sorry Samui, that weird message just got to me ya know?

Darui: For real, it was kind of ridiculous for that guy wasting our time. Let's just go to work.

After while the incident with the TV, it was now night. Most of the workers were beginning to feel tired or just didn't want to work for a long period of time. 'Nada' was about to go home until he spots C and someone else with him, leaving the construction site. He goes quietly with an invisible Just so that he cannot be caught. When they stopped at an abandoned church, people from the TV message and the Old Preacher are together with the Hacker Villager and C too. Naruto realizes that those people are the rebels that are trying to fight against Greed and Powerful. Also in the group were Yugito Nii and Killer B, Yugito is wearing some villager clothes while B was wearing what he could find since he did not have any time to change. Coming from the other side was C and the hacker themselves.

C: Everyone! I am glad to gather you all here to find a way to take down the Raikage. I know it sounds stupid, but I and other former ninjas have been very concerned about what is happening to our home! Greed has taken over among the villagers. The Shinobi are going very hard on the poor. I believe that we are in grave danger from a threat that we cannot see. With these shades, we can finally see what is happening right in front of us. Takedown the powerful, and bring back what was once our Cloud Village!

Everyone was cheering and understanding what he was trying to say. Yugito and B were trying to find Naruto but it was hard to see him present. However, both felt his chakra and notice that he is under a genjustu where he changed his appearance, no whiskers on his face, long blonde hair, normal blue shirt, and some jeans too.

Yugito Nii: Found him B! He's hiding under a genjustu so he does not get caught.

Killer B: Great! With all of us together, we will end this madness and save our village. Oh, do not forget to put on those shades Yugito, we need them to see what can't be seen.

When things were looking their way, all of sudden, they heard a cry!

ANBU Leader: FIRE AND TAKE OUT THE REBELS!

A huge blast arrives and destroyed the church. The ANBU soldiers are now destroying everything that could give out any information that the Raikage does not to been seen in front of the whole ninja world. Rebels and some villagers were running away from the attack, but some were caught and beaten up. Both Yugito and B left the church in a hurry, in fear of getting caught. The whole area was a mess, C and other workers escaped the scene while Darui was shocked at what has happened. He spots 'Nada' in the now-destroyed church and tries to tell him to get out of there. 'Nada' does not listen to Dauri but spots some leftover shades lying in the ground. He too fleas the scene and heads back home. He heads to bed, pondering what has transpired and wonders what is going on. First, he receives a note from those that know him. Two, he notices the big change in the Cloud Village. Three, shades? Naruto puts away the shades, turns off his disguise, eats, brushes his teeth, and goes to sleep.

What would happen now Naruto has the shades?

As Naruto's disguise was released, he falls back from some flowers and notices that the old lady is talking to her golden watch.

Old Lady(Alien): I got one that can See!

Literally, most of the aliens disguise as villagers, began to approach Naruto, repeating what the old lady said. Naruto is now scared and confused about what is happening.

Naruto*now beginning to freak out*: I don't like this one bit. Not one bit.

He gets up and escapes the store.
