A/N: Hello. And here we are at the next chapter. There is also a couple of surprises at the beginning and near the end of the middle of it. Enjoy. :)
Infinity Train X Glitch Techs
Book Three: Chapter 4: Le Chat Chalet Car
It all started as the group was walking amidst the snow when One-One spoke up.
"Stop. Right here should be good.", Glad One spoke.
"Uh, good for what?", Simon asked.
"For my train documentary. What else?", Glad One responded.
"You don't have to join in if you don't want to.", Sad One responded.
"A train documentary? That sounds splendid.", Atticus grinned as he wagged his tail.
"What's a train documentary?", Amber asked.
"Well, basically, it's a video that explains everything about a certain car. There were even funny parts in those documentaries.", Jesse responded.
"Oh, yeah? Like what?", Grace asked in puzzlement.
"Like that time with the lava mole chasing us. Not for very long, though, but it was still a surprise.", Jesse explained.
"You know, if and when this whole mess is over, we'd like to look at those documentaries.", Five asked.
"Yeah, like that lava mole one!", Miko added.
"I got the camera ready.", Lake spoke.
"You sure this isn't for brainwashing?", Simon asked.
"Brainwashing? Nonsense.", Glad One responded as he held up the stick holding a piece of paper that says, "TRAIN DOCUMENTARY #126186
"I don't even think I can wash brains right.", Sad One added.
"As long as it doesn't take long. I'm freezing out here. And I mean a lot more than usual.", Grace responded.
"My paws are currently knee-deep in snow. How do you think I feel?", Atticus responded.
"Don't worry. I'm sure I have some kind of warm blanket for you. I can't exactly find it right now, but it's here somewhere.", Jesse spoke as he searched through the items list on his gauntlet.
"So, it starts off this close, but I zoom away after 9 seconds, right?", Lake asked.
"Yes.", Glad One responded.
"Okay. Just checking. 1, 2, 3, action!", Lake spoke before the documentary started just as Gummi hopped off Tulip's shoulder.
"Wait!", Tulip whispered before Gummi hopped over to Glad One as he spoke up.
"Do you see what 'ice' see? No? Well, sit tight, because I'm about to take you on a guided tour of the unforgettable snow car.", Glad One spoke as Lake zoomed the camera back to show the snow car in the background before Glad One moved the stick and tossed it aside as Gummi squeaked, shaking the snow off himself.
"Hello, I'm your host, One.", Glad One greeted before his other half moved closely into view.
"One.", Sad One added before getting out of camera view just as quickly.
"You better get your warm mittens and cocoa ready. As you can see, our beautiful snow car is brimming with...", Glad One began before stopping, forgetting what to say as Gummi squeaked in puzzlement.
"Snow.", Hazel whispered.
"Oh, yes. Snow!", Glad One remembered.
"And the thread of frostbite.", Sad One added as Glad One hopped off the log with Gummi hopping off as well before landing on top of Glad One, who crawled away from the hole.
"Aw.", Tulip cooed just as Jesse finally found it.
"Ah-Ha! Found it.", Jesse spoke before tapping the item with the gauntlet then projecting a blanket completely from the gauntlet's beam and giving it to Grace.
"Here you go.", Jesse spoke while handing the blanket to Grace.
"Wow, thanks.", Grace grinned.
"Don't mention it.", Jesse responded just as both Glad One and Sad One became one again and got closer to a frozen pond with Gummi still on top.
"Is this good?", Lake asked.
"Yep.", Glad One replied as Gummi squeaked.
"Okey-dokey.", Lake spoke before One-One arrived at a hill near the pond with Alan Dracula wandering and searching through the piles of snow before stopping at one and then blowing the snow off so it may enjoy the grass as Glad One continued.
"Snow is probably made from salt.", Glad One spoke before taking a deep breath and trying many times to blow the snow off, but failed before shaking the snow off his front leg.
"While Ice... pause.", Glad One spoke before Lake paused the recording.
"Uh..., okay, but why?", Lake asked.
"You'll see.", Glad One responded before then rolling down the snow hill and onto the center of the frozen pond, much to Grace and Simon's interests, but not before Gummi hopped off onto the snow.
"Okay! You can continue now!", Glad One shouted.
"I don't think doing it there is a good idea, but okay.", Lake responded with a shout.
"Anyway, Ice is made from...um, big, slippery salt!", Glad One shouted just as Alan Dracula was leaving before Tulip suddenly heard the ice crack.
"Wait. What was that?", Tulip puzzled.
"I think I heard something cracking.", Five responded.
"You mean like that ice One-One's standing on?", Miko asked, pointing toward the ice which was apparently cracking beneath One-One, making Tulip gasp in fright for him as did the others, except Simon, who looked intrigued.
"Uh-oh.", Glad One spoke before the ice broke apart, causing him to fall into the water.
"NO!", Tulip shouted.
"One-One!", Hazel shouted.
"A.D.! One-One needs help!", Jesse urged as he picked up a patch of grass before giving it to Alan Dracula, freeing him up to stretch his neck down into the water before going back up with the shivering One-One in his mouth before Simon suddenly let out a burst of laughter from the scene, mostly for the end result as he even fell backwards laughing from the sight.
"One-One, are you all right?", Atticus asked as he and the others, save for Simon, caught up to One-One and Alan Dracula.
"Brrr! A bit cold, but all right.", Glad One shivered, making Hazel giggle a bit.
"I'm kinda surprised you haven't short-circuited.", Jesse spoke as Tulip picked One-One out of Alan Dracula's mouth and turned to see Simon laughing at the mishap before giving him a stink face with a grunt as Simon calmed down and took a deep breath before noticing Tulip glaring at him.
"What?", Simon puzzled.
"It wasn't that funny.", Tuba spoke.
"Uh..., time to meet some locals?", Grace asked a bit nervously from the tension.
"Yes. Time to meet some locals.", Glad One responded.
Then, the group arrived near a few familiar snowmen, one of which was missing a head as Tulip grew puzzled upon catching sight of them.
"Huh? Those snowmen...", Tulip spoke.
"You met them before?", Amber guessed.
"Yeah. In fact, I even made one of the snowmen look like he's picking his carrot nose.", Tulip responded.
"I can see that.", Simon spoke.
"These three look like they're up to no good.", Sad One spoke as he got closer.
"But they also seem...familiar.", Glad One spoke before rolling down toward the snowmen as Tulip has a realization.
"Wait a minute! I knew I recognized these snowmen before. This was the first car I woke up in when I first met One-One.", Tulip realized.
"Wow, really? This was the first car you woke up in?", Grace asked.
"Well, yeah.", Tulip responded as One-One spoke to the snowmen.
"Hello. Have we met?", Glad One asked.
"Are you dead?", Sad One added before he rolled up on top of the third snowman, acting as the head of said snowman.
"When I first met One-One, he was on top of a snowman just like this.", Tulip added to Grace, gesturing to him.
"Pretty snug.", Sad One spoke.
"You actually met him in this car?", Amber asked.
"Yeah.", Tulip responded.
"And knowing him, he can be a bit silly and forgetful sometimes.", Lake added just as One-One placed his leg on his face.
"Something deep down is telling me...that this guy is named Joe, and that guy's named Hot Dog, and this is Lynette Ramsey-Wilkerson.", Glad One introduced.
"See? Like that.", Tulip added before he turned around and noticed something behind the snowman.
"What's this?", Glad One puzzled before hopping off the snowman and landing before speaking up.
"Treasure! Get the camera.", Glad One spoke.
"Treasure?", Grace asked.
"Whatever it is, it's mine.", Simon spoke before he and Grace ran only for notice that the treasure turned out to be a pile of trash with a sign that says, "One-One's Secret Stash" on it above the pile, although Hazel didn't mind.
"Treasure!", Hazel grinned.
"Wha?", Grace puzzled.
"Okay, scratch that. I don't want it.", Simon spoke as he changed his mind.
"Look. Wondrous artifacts, strange hieroglyphs. Lynette, I had no idea.", Glad One spoke.
"So, none of this is ringing any bells here?", Tulip asked.
"This is all definitely familiar.", Sad One spoke before noticing something else.
"Is that...? Oh!", Glad One spoke before running over to a rock near the snowman.
"What is it?", Jesse puzzled as the others caught up.
"Now, I remember. I was trapped here for 33 years! But I never forget a boring, old rock.", Glad One stated with laughter.
"Of course, you don't.", Tulip sighed with a grin.
"Why would someone trap you there in the first place?", Hazel asked.
"It's a long story. We'll explain once we find some shelter from the snow.", Tulip assured.
"Well, if you find your way here, it'll probably go much better for you.", Glad One stated with a wave.
"Don't touch my stuff.", Sad One added before Lake finished recording.
"Okay. Got it. I guess.", Lake blushed a bit.
"That's great. Let's be on our way, then.", Glad One spoke before he and the others continued.
"It's about time.", Simon sighed to himself as he and the others continued.
Later, sunset was fast approaching with Hazel on top of Tuba, who was jumping with a hop before suddenly flipping backwards and landing on the snow to make a snow angel with Hazel laughing in joy while also getting tickled a moment after as Tulip (with Gummi on top of her shoulder), Jesse, Lake, and the group caught up.
"Everyone, keep your bodies moving. It may not be flashy, but frostbite is just as deadly as lava moles or bottomless pits.", Simon warned.
"Agreed.", Sad One concurred.
"And the best way to keep the circulation going is...", Simon spoke as he walked forward and got out a snowball from the ground before tossing it at Grace.
But when the snowball hit, Grace only laughed before Hazel, Tulip, Lake, Jesse, Atticus, Miko, and Five joined in with laughter as One-One grinned.
"Looks like we have a snowball fight going on.", Glad One grinned.
"I call this team!", the group shouted with half of them pointing one way and the other pointing to another before Tulip and Jesse sided with Grace, Hazel, and Tuba while Lake, Miko, Five, and Atticus joined Simon as Amber becomes a spectator and Alan Dracula does his own thing looking for the most edible cuts of grass underneath the snow as he puffed on the pile and then ate the cuds of grass with One-One acting as the referee.
"All right, people. This'll be a 5-on-5 snowball fight. I want everyone to do their best.", Sad One stated.
"But most importantly, I want you to have fun.", Glad One added.
"Not a problem there, One-One.", Lake grinned.
"Better watch out, Hazel!", Simon grinned.
"No, you watch out!", Hazel retorted before she, Tulip, Jesse, Tuba, and Grace braced themselves as Simon tossed two snowballs at Tuba as Hazel laughed.
"Get 'em, Hazel!", Grace urged playfully before Hazel then tossed a snowball at Simon before it landed only a couple of feet away from him as Amber, Lake, Miko, and Five got more snowballs out just as Simon got two snowballs ready as Atticus primed the ammo for the other team by scooting the snow across a line to make a pile.
"Snowballs at the ready!", Atticus shouted.
"Take this!", Simon shouted before giving a slight chuckle a he tossed said snowballs with Lake, Miko, Five, and Amber tossing more snowballs.
"Snow no mercy!", Miko shouted as the group of four fired said snowballs before they landed near Hazel, making her exclaim in worry.
"We need backup! They're gonna out...snow..., they're gonna hit us!", Hazel urged.
"Already got you covered, Hazel!", Jesse assured as he and Tulip provided cover and fired snowballs toward the other team just as Grace tried to make a snowball with her gloves but failed.
"Ugh. It's not holding.", Grace groaned.
"Maybe you should take your gloves off?", Tulip suggested.
"Yeah. You gotta warm the snow with your hands first. Your real hands.", Hazel suggested.
"Of course. What would I do without you?", Grace asked, not knowing that One-One was walking closer to the team.
"You would die until you're dead.", Hazel spoke darkly with a glare in response as One-One overheard it.
"Nice.", Sad One spoke before Grace gave Hazel a snowball with Grace taking off her glove.
But the moment Grace removed her glove, the webbing appeared on her fingers as she tucked the glove into her pocket so she can make a proper snowball.
"Watch this.", Grace spoke before then stepping forward as her arm leaned back before tossing it out just in time to notice several things which perplexed her.
Not only did her skin color remain green, but her number started going down. Also, she could not understand how she could've managed to grow both the webbing on her fingers and the claws on the tops of her fingers and was examining it just as Hazel prepared and fired a snowball before getting hit in the face, snapping her out of her stupor with Hazel appearing dumbfounded before laughing with Grace, Tulip, and Jesse laughing as well as they get Hazel back up.
"Tuba! We need the big one.", Hazel spoke before Tuba then scooped up the snow into a big snowball and lifted it up as Hazel laughed just before Simon and his team noticed the big snowball held by Tuba.
"Oh, nerds!", Miko and Five squeaked.
"That's a big snowball!", Lake reacted.
"W-Wait! Armistice! Armistice! Armi...", Simon shouted only for a big snowball to land right on top of him, making Hazel, Tulip, and Jesse laugh.
"And the winner is the A-Team by an avalanche!", Glad One spoke.
"Armistice means 'no more snowballs'.", Simon stated.
"I know.", Tuba responded before she brushed the snow off Simon, who begrudgingly pushed the gorilla's hand away and fixed his hair.
"Snow's probably going to get worse. What's the plan?", Simon asked before Lake tapped on his shoulder.
"What?", Simon puzzled.
"I might have an idea.", Lake responded, pointing toward a nearby cabin.
"A cabin? I suppose it could work.", Atticus spoke.
"Grace? Grace?", Simon spoke before Grace was brought back to reality.
"Huh? Oh. Yeah, uh..., let's head to the cabin.", Grace suggested before heading there.
"Okay, now I know something's up with her.", Tulip spoke.
"Yeah. I don't remember seeing her this...distracted like that.", Jesse agreed.
"Maybe we should check on her sometime.", Lake suggested.
Later, as they advanced across the snow, night fell, and the group finally entered the cabin all covered in snow before Atticus and Tuba shook the snow off themselves, splattering it everywhere, especially in the fountains, the fireplace, and even on one of the pages of a book that a certain denizen was reading.
"The first vacation I've taken in over 150 years, and I have to deal with tourists.", the cat spoke before both Tulip, Lake, Jesse, and Grace gasped in unison as Atticus widened his eyes.
"The Cat!", the five spoke in unison.
"Grace, raiding my business isn't enough for...", the cat spoke before Tulip interrupted.
"At ease, the cat. For once, she's with us.", Tulip assured as she, Jesse, Lake, and Simon (evidently) stepped closer to her as Simon shook the snow off his hoodie before he gasped upon noticing her.
"Tulip? Jesse? And Simon, too?", the Cat asked in surprise.
"Wait. You know him?", Jesse asked as Simon glared at the cat.
"We...have had history. The point is, I suppose you all can stay for a bit. Although, I would like an explanation for this sudden reunion.", the cat responded.
"Well, it's kind of a long story.", Tulip responded.
"We gotta go.", Simon spoke, walking away.
"Why? We just got here.", Amber responded.
"We're not staying here.", Simon responded as he opened the door.
"For the record, I don't think we have a choice.", Jesse responded before Simon turned around and noticed a wall of snow in front of him, much to his shock before forcefully closing the door, causing more snow to fall from the roof onto the pile.
"Snow Day!", Hazel spoke excitedly.
"We could be stuck in here for weeks. I'll split the rations.", Sad One added before he split up into two halves.
"I'll warn you: I'm gamey.", Sad One spoke before Simon kicked against the door in defiance and panted.
"No. We're leaving.", Simon urged, making Lake and Grace groan in unison.
"We're leaving.", Simon repeated.
"Simon, the snow's too heavy. We have to hunker down.", Grace spoke.
"And stay here with her?!", Simon asked angrily.
"And figure things out!", Grace retorted.
"Figure what...", Simon began before Grace interrupted.
"I'm gonna go look for supplies.", Grace interrupted before leaving as Simon went off to another direction.
"Awkward.", Jesse spoke to Tulip.
Meanwhile, as Grace entered the kitchen, she passed an anthropomorphic bear named Frank was cooking something as he was listening to some funky music from the radio before noticing Grace, who passed him.
"Huh?", Frank puzzled.
"Huh?", Grace puzzled as she stopped for a moment and turned to Frank before continuing onward while turning back as Frank put his spatula down before tightening his robe and continuing his cooking.
Meanwhile, Tulip, Jesse, Lake, Atticus, One-One, Amber, Hazel, and Tuba were near the fountain before the water suddenly moved and laughed before a bulge with familiar eyes and mouth formed.
"Randal?!", Tulip exclaimed.
"It's laughing water!", Hazel grinned.
"It's a laughing girl.", Randal grinned.
"I am!", Hazel grinned.
"You guys know that guy?", Amber asked.
"Know him? He helped me get close enough to One-One once.", Tulip grinned.
"Randal, you were brought here for ambience, not conversation.", the cat reminded as she walked in.
"Oh, right. Not a peep.", Randal spoke before going back in the fountain.
"Wow. You certainly have been busy, huh?", Jesse grinned.
"Indeed. By the way, you don't look like the normal Apex Riffraff.", the cat spoke.
"I'm Hazel. This is Tuba.", Hazel introduced before Tuba grunted with a nod.
"She's a tough customer.", Hazel whispered.
"Clearly.", the cat spoke before noticing that Hazel's number lacked a certain green glow.
"Oh, my! What happened to your number?", the cat asked.
"Well, for some reason, Hazel's number isn't glowing.", Sad One explained.
"And now we're trying to figure out how to turn it back on.", Glad One added.
"And as if that wasn't bad enough, something's going on with Grace. And no, it isn't the obvious.", Lake responded.
"As a matter of fact, her skin even turned green even though she isn't going to puke.", Jesse added.
"Et bon? Green skin?", the cat asked.
"Yeah. We think it might be serious.", Tulip responded.
"Well, this is quite unheard of. I thought she was looking a bit under the weather.", the cat responded before she was suddenly yanked up on the back by Simon.
"If you talk to them again, I'll...!", Simon began.
"You'll what? You couldn't stop me with your whole army. What are you going to do with the 'B' Squad?", the cat asked before Frank leaned out.
"Hey, I'm makin' pancakes. You kids got any allergies?", Frank asked.
"Not now, Frank!", the cat shouted.
"Okay.", Frank responded as he leaned back in.
"Huh?", Simon puzzled.
"You walked into my cabin.", the cat spoke.
"Stay away.", Simon warned.
"Okay, Simon.", the cat responded before Simon walked away.
"How do you guys know each other?", Tulip asked.
"It pains me to tell you this, but it all started when I first met him. He was 10 years old back then.", the cat began.
Later, he waited near the window when Grace passed him with the supply box and set it down.
"Did you find something to...?", Simon began before noticing the contents in the supply box.
"Supplies? Like 'we're staying here and not leaving' supplies?", Simon asked.
"Where elise are we gonna go?", Grace responded before Hazel, Tuba, Tulip, Jesse, Lake, Miko, Five, Atticus, Amber, Alan Dracula, and One-One went closer with Hazel laughing.
"This tea has a big with a cowboy hat on it! That's how you know it's the good stuff. Come on, Tuba. I'll be mother.", Hazel grinned as she picked the box of tea up before she and Tuba start off.
"I thought we were trying to find a way to get out of here.", Simon spoke.
"It's a blizzard out there.", Grace responded.
"So, what am I supposed to...?", Simon began before Grace interrupted.
"I don't know, Simon! Do I need to make every decision for you?! Go...Ugh. Look for something.", Grace responded before Simon gave a look of slight disbelief before getting frustrated as he stormed off.
Then, Tulip turned to Gummi.
"Can you help Simon look for something?", Tulip asked before Gummi nodded with a squeak.
"Thanks. And if he gets too angry, get the heck out.", Tulip warned before Gummi squeaked in understanding and hopped off to follow Simon just as he paced around and turned toward the door near the staircase, opened it, and side just as Gummi squeaked while following him in.
Just then, Simon accidentally stepped on a small toy soldier, turned around to notice it, and picked it up. From there, it was only a matter of time before he turned and saw a Ghom seemingly about to leap at him and react as he fell backwards, prompting Gummi to squeak in surprise before dodging him as Simon landed and panted with his breath going from fast to slow as he realized it was just a stuffed Ghom before turning to notice Gummi next to him as he squeaked.
"You've been SPYING ON ME?!", Simon exclaimed angrily, frightening Gummi to the point of fleeing away with hops just as Simon started chasing him, tossing the nutcracker doll aside as it splintered the right arm of the doll apart.
"You need to stay away if you know what's good for you, Null!", Simon shouted angrily.
Sure enough, the cat was teaching Hazel some things about tea as the latter placed a teapot on the holding system for it before putting it closer to the fire.
"Flavor is all about timing.", the cat spoke.
"Really?", Hazel asked.
"Too long or too short, both can ruin your tea and day. The best way to...", the cat began Gummi squeaked loudly enough for Tulip to notice just as it hopped away hurriedly back to her.
"Gummi.", Tulip spoke in worry right before Simon caught up only to stop and notice Hazel and the cat before becoming angry again.
"I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY!", Simon shouted.
"I was trying to be helpful.", the cat responded.
"I know what you think is helpful.", Simon only retorted angrily just as Grace stood up and looked on in concern.
"Why can't I talk to her?", Hazel in puzzlement just as the teapot was reaching boiling point.
"Because SHE ABANDONED ME!", Simon shouted, banging his fist against the metal frame of the fireplace, causing the teapot to move away from the fireplace before taking a deep breath and then explaining how it happened with a heavy heart.
"Before I met Grace..., there was the cat. She was there on my first train car before I even knew there were...train cars. She was my Tuba.", Simon spoke sadly, looking to Hazel, who looked sad herself and shedding a tear with Tulip, Jesse, and Lake feeling the same way as Gummi squeaked sadly for him.
"And after a few months of helping me..., she left me alone to die.", Simon finished a bit angrily.
"Simon...", the cat spoke up.
"Am I wrong?! Did you leave me or not?", Simon asked.
"You're not...wrong.", the cat spoke sadly.
"I was 10 years old! I was a child and you left me to a Ghom! If Grace didn't show up, I wouldn't be here. But what's with you?! Every minute I'm in this cabin with the cat is like another weight pressing down on my chest. And you don't even seem to care...", Simon responded before leaving to be by himself on the staircase.
"I never imagined it'd be like Amelia all over again. Granted, in a sense, but still.", Atticus spoke.
"Abandoned at 10 years old? This is terrible.", Sad One commented.
Needless to say, Grace was determined to make it right as she went after him just as Tulip and Gummi looked sadly toward each other before turning back to check on Grace and Simon just as the former caught up to him.
"She's collecting again...", Simon spoke before Grace turned to notice the room he and Gummi went in earlier before turning back to Simon and going up to his level on the staircase.
"I'm sorry. This must be horrible for you. I should've seen it, but...I've been dealing with...a couple of things.", Grace spoke before taking her glove off to show not only her lower number, but also the webbing and claws on her fingers just in time for her skin to grow scaley.
"It's been going down. And what's worse, I think I'm turning into something. I don't know what and I'm scared. I don't know when they started, but I can't stop it. I didn't want the Apex..., or you, to see me like this...to think less of me.", Grace explained as she put her glove back on.
Simon, however, only gave a soft grin.
"I'm always with you. We're a team.", Simon assured before Grace hugged him.
Watching this, Tulip gave a sad smile as she leaned back in with Gummi giving a squeak. Just then, a whistle caught the group's attention before they went back to the campfire and saw Hazel holding the cup as Tuba poured the tea into the cup before said tea grew the same eyes and mouth.
"I'm all-naturally flavored.", Randal spoke.
"Hazel, where did you get that water?", Tulip asked.
"I got it from the tap. I swear.", Hazel responded before Grace put her hand on Simon's shoulder with a grin, making him smile back.
"Is all the water here Randal?", Grace asked.
"Or better yet, is all the snow here Randal?", Glad One asked.
"While the view here is magnificent, it's been bone-dry for centuries.", the cat replied.
"Well, it certainly wasn't the last time I was here.", Tulip responded.
"You're welcome.", the cat smirked before Simon had an idea.
"The snow...", Simon spoke before Grace nodded and went to the front door.
"Okay. I see where this is going.", Miko spoke with a grin before Grace opened the door and picked up a ball of snow before closing the door and walking over to the fireplace to place said ball near the fireplace.
"Oh, I get it. Ice melts into water whenever near a source of extreme heat.", Five realized.
"And if all the water here is Randal, then that means...", Amber added just as the snowball melted into a Randal puddle.
"Aw, you got me.", Randal grinned.
"How did you pull this off?", Amber asked.
"It took a lot of effort to import that much Randal. You don't find paradise. You make it.", the cat replied before Tuba nodded in agreement.
"We need to get out of here. Can you stop the blizzard?", Grace asked.
"Blizzard? Oh, you mean the snowball fight. We saw you all having fun and wanted to join in.", Randal explained.
"And I'm sure you all did, except we called an armistice, which requires us to throw no more snowballs until the next fight.", Atticus explained before Randal popped up.
"Oh, sounds good to me. But Randal is about a mile in the air.", Randal spoke.
"I've got an idea.", Simon spoke.
"Oh, and I'll have to talk to Randal, and Randal, and of course, Randal with...", Randal continued as Simon got the teapot out of the holding system and held it close to Randal just as Frank came in, wearing a red and black plaid shirt with pants and a cocoa mug that says, "Boy!" before Hazel gasped.
"You don't boil friends.", Hazel spoke in worry.
"Actually, I kind of like it.", Randall assured before hopping into the pot.
"So..., is it okay with you?", Amber asked.
"I don't judge.", Tuba responded before Amber turned to Simon and nodded to him before he put the teapot back onto the support system and held it above the fireplace enough for Randal to come out of the teapot as gas, leaving the chimney to go up in the air to deliver a message.
"Bring it in, guys! Snowball fight's over.", Randal spoke.
"Did we win?", Randal #2 asked.
"Armistice. Now, we get to the fun part: negotiation of terms.", Randal responded.
"Oh, it's best when both sides can feel like the winner, isn't it?", Randal #3 asked.
"It's my thought, Randal. I'll be giving that one a lot of reflection.", Randal responded.
And with that, the Randal's parted away from each other with the snowfall finally stopping as the snow finally fell off a tree branch with Hazel and Tuba finally outside as the latter made a big snowball and rolled it forward with Hazel following her with a hop before throwing more snowballs for fun as Tulip, Gummi, Jesse, Lake, Miko, Five, Amber, Atticus, One-One, and even Alan Dracula watching.
"Whew. That was fun. Now, let's find that exit.", Tulip spoke.
"Do you even know where it is?", Amber asked jokingly.
"Of course, I do. If I remember right, it was at the bottom of a big snowman. We might wanna avoid going into the next car after that one, though.", Tulip advised as she and the others went out with Grace being the second-to-last one out but not before stretching her arms and lifting up one of his bangs playfully.
"Boop.", Grace spoke as she did so before she left to catch up with the others with Simon grinning as he turned around before widening his eyes as he saw the cat, who gave a sad look to him.
"Au revoir..., Simon.", the cat spoke sadly.
Simon had the same look as well as he gazed back, closing the door halfway.
"Au revoir.", Simon responded before closing the door.
A/N: So, what'd you think about what's going on with Grace? Well, it will be answered in one of the next two chapters coming tomorrow. Until next time. :)
