I made up this story based on the movie,

THEY LIVE

They Live is a 1988 American science-fiction, horror film written and directed by John Carpenter, based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" by Ray Nelson, Starring Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster. The film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.

What if Naruto was in Roddy's position? But in a different standout. The timeline is in the Shippuden Arc. Naruto wakes up in the Hot Water Village, with no memory of how or why is he in the Hot Water Village? He notices that he has a note that was in his traveling backpack, where it tells him that he needs to be in the Cloud Village. The note informs that the people and the ninja living in the Village are acting strange. The economy is rising, mission ranks have more money, and people are wearing golden watches? Something is not right. He goes to the Cloud Village, not wearing his attire, and not wearing his headband. Naruto goes there to find some shades that reveal what is going on, which escalates to him and his fellow tail beast siblings to fend for themselves, and save the village from an unknown threat that can rule the world of Shinobi.

So with that, let's begin the story.

Previously, on Naruto: THEY LIVE

Darui: Look Naruto, I'm sorry that I didn't believe you. It's just that it is so hard to ignore the things that none of the Villagers are aware of!

Naruto: Ha! It's all right, I don't blame you. As I said, you ain't the first son of a bitch to wake up.

Darui: What now, what are we gonna do? We can't do anything since we do not have the firepower those assholes got!

Naruto was about to answer his questions when he heard a female voice.

Yugito Nii: Don't worry, we'll fight those freaks with all the power we got!

Both men saw that Yugito Nii and Killer B have arrived. Darui is surprised to see them again and wants to apologize for not believing in what they were warning everybody about. B tells him that it's not his fault but the aliens that fooled him and everybody else. Samui comes to meet the rebels and apologies to Naruto about what happened with her and Karui. Naruto doesn't mind it until she grabs him and forcefully kisses him. Samui makes sure that his hands are directly in her big butt but Naruto pushes her off saying that he is dating someone else. Naruto moves away from Samui and goes out to get some fresh air. Most of them were shocked at what Samui did and tried to forget the awkward tension between Naruto and Samui. She did say sorry and that she will not do it again. Naruto accepts the apology and all of them were planning on taking out the threat for good.

Chapter Six: Naruto Dead? (During the Church Attack)

This is during the events of the third chapter.

In the front gates of Konoha were Tsunade, Jiraiya, Sakura, and Hinata. Each of them were beginning to fear that something was wrong and that they needed to see Naruto back home. Tsunade and Jiraiya were trying their best to keep faith in both Shizune and Kakashi to bring back their adopted son home safe. Hinata become seriously depressed when Naruto didn't return to Konaha, worrying that he left everyone and her as well. The first thing she will do is to run up to Naruto and bear hug here for making her worried so much. She asked Sakura to help her punish Naruto for making everyone for being worried sick. Sakura being Naruto's little sister would gladly do the same thing as Hinata would do. Tsunade and Jiraiya had their own way of welcoming Naruto. Starting with Tsunade crushing Naruto with a motherly hug that showed him that he had made her worried sick and feared for the worst. She imagined that Naruto would say sorry to his beloved mother. Jiraiya would punch Naruto in the head, and hug him, making Naruto feel like crap for making his parents worried too. Two people who had the mission to retreive Naruto were returning without Naruto. All four of them who were trying to forget any negative thought of Naruto not being here, feared that those thoughts were coming to life. Tsunade rushed to Shizune and Kakashi, getting a good look at them. She was shocked to see tear stains, bloodshot eyes, and something that Tsunade wish was not true. In the hands of Kakashi's are Naruto's clothes, which were a birthday gift by Tsunade and Jiraiya. She asked them the question without freaking out.

Tsunade*trying to hold in the pain*: S-s-shizune? K-k-kashi? W-w-where is m-mmy Naruto?

Shizune is trying her best to be brave and tell her the sad news, but she couldn't. Tears were coming out and she kept on choking while she wanted to talk. But Kakashi gave her the dark answer.

Kakashi*tears still in his eyes*: Lady Tsunade, I am so sorry. I am afraid that Naruto is dead.

Images of Naruto, Dan, and Nawaki were on her head. Memories of Naruto, being with her, having a good time with making pranks at those who have wronged Naruto. The times of Naruto surprising his mother with flowers, making her teary and making Naruto saying sorry for making his and I quote," making his beautiful mother sad."

The atmosphere was cold, there was no sound. Tsunade was just standing there, looking at the clothes of her son, her life, her joy. Now, she is looking at the dark truth, Naruto is dead. She dropped to the ground, finally crying her heart out. Jiraiya came to comfort her, but was proven useless since he too is letting his tears out. He felt like he had failed to keep the legacy that Minato placed upon his son. He failed as a teacher to look after Naruto, but he actually failed to be a father. Hinata was just standing there, looking like she just saw death and mocking her. She let out a scream of pain and sorrow, letting every bit of water that is coming in her eyes. She moaned Naruto's name with so much pain. Sakura felt like destroying something that could hurt her. But now she feels numb. Naruto, her friend, her brother, her hope, is now dead. She is now crying, while sitting on the ground holding her legs. The people who heard the news of Naruto being dead spread out fire. The people who viewed Naruto as a hero were now sad and depressed to hear their hero being dead. Naruto's friends, who heard the news, were now in a state of depression. Those who were against Naruto were cheering for his death. Big mistake. Hinata and Tsunade rushed to the foolish villagers who wronged Naruto and were about to beat the crap out of them.

Tsunade*now with rage*: SAY IT AGAIN! I FUCKING DARE YOU JACKASSES! DO NOT MOCK MY NARUTO'S NAME!
Hinata*tears in her eyes, while rage was within her*: DON'T YOU DARE SAY SUCH HORRIBLE THINGS! HE HAS DONE EVERYTHING FOR YOU BASTARDS, AND THAT'S HOW YOU REPAY HIM?!

The foolish villagers still had the hate in them and said the dumbest thing to the powerful and overprotective Kunoichi who loved and cared for Naruto.

Dumb Villager(91): Well, he's still a demon! Always has, and always will be! YOU SLUTS SHOULD BE GLAD THAT THE DEMON IS DEAD!

Dumb Villager(21): YEAH! HE DESERVED IT!

Out of nowhere, a Jounin who despised Naruto who dated Hinata, walked up to her and said.

Random Jounin(88): C'mon Hinata! Forget that loser, you and me would be getting in on and you would like it!

Oh how the mighty have fallen, those who were against Naruto were now getting their asses kicked. Sakura joined the two women who were now huffing and puffing from the punishment they lay upon the idiots. The smoked cleared, and revealed each Kunoichi tired and exhausted. However, they soon began to cry while hugging each other, remembering that Naruto will never come back to life. When word got out, the rest of the Shinobi/Kunoichi were distraught to hear that the kid that once thought who would never be a ninja, is now gone. He was the reason that the village had the will of fire. He was reason that the village would handle any threat that comes in their way. Now, everything is just sad, and gloomy. The sun was now covered with dark clouds. The whole atmosphere is depressing. The villagers were sad and lost. People barley talked to each other. Business became slow, ninjas would sometimes be late to the missions, or do not feel like doing the missions at all. Ichiraku Ramen was still making business, but Teuchi and Ayame were not feeling the same energy of making ramen. Both who loved and care for Naruto, were left in a pit of sadness, not making ramen in the fast paste. Ayame, a woman who loved Naruto like a little brother, is not as happy nor joyful. Teuchi, who Naruto saw as a grandpa figure, misses the blonde ninja. If anyone who disrespect Naruto, both would lash out on the foolish villagers and make them leave the business. When Sakura told the Konoha 11 Teams, they were shocked. Choji was crying his heart out to a friend that didn't said any harsh things to him for being fat. In fact, as kids Naruto would defend Choji from bullies. Shikamaru was left there, holding his tears, not accepting the fact that Naruto is dead. Kiba and Akumaru were trying their best, not to show weakness. But it didn't help them. Kiba and Naruto were tooo best friends, sometimes Kiba would let Naruto play with Akumaru. TenTen, a girl who knew Naruto in the Orphanage, who he saw her as his little sister cried her heart out. Neji was a lost of words. he didn't know whether to cry or scream at the sky. He truly believed that Fate is the cruelest thing ever. Ino did not had any ill will towards Naruto, but she too was also crying. She saw Sakura and looked into her green eyes, wishing that it was not true. Sakura didn't answer but hugged Ino for dear life. Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon were sadden to hear that their boss is dead. Moegi at first told Sakura that she's lying at that Naruto would never die. Sakura just looked at the poor girl and hugged her while Moegi was crying in her shoulders. Konohamaru cried out in pain with Udon doing the same thing. The team Jounin who respected Naruto were too in a state of depression. Asuma loved Naruto like a brother, so did Kurenai. Both would stay at their house, with Asuma looking at the dark clouds, while Kurenai makes her tea while trying her hardest not to have a breakdown. Anko wanted to kill somebody when she heard the news of Naruto's death. Shd and Naruto shared the same pain, Naruto viewed her as his big sis and that she would be there in times of need. She locked herself from the others, leavieg to Iruka to feed her and comfort her. Tsunade and Hinata were greatly affected by this. Tsunade would work in her office, but would cry quietly. In the house that the three lived, she would lock herself to weep in pain for failing as a mother. Kakashi felt like killing himself and he tried to do that. Thankfully, Shizune stopped him and said that Naruto wouldn't want them to hurt themselves. Kakashi and Shizune were holding onto eacth other, crying in pain of losing Naruto. Jiraiya would try to keep a straight face, but felt that he wanted to die. Hinata would too lock herself, crying to sleep while having nightmares of Naruto's death. Hiashi and Hanabi were worried for Hinata. The news of Naruto's death greatly affected Konoha, making each nation except the Cloud Village pray that the Leaf Village would try to make it though the difficult times. The big TV that is in the middle of the Leaf Village Streets, show the image of Naruto Uzumaki dead.

The news has be spread. Naruto is dead. Not really, but that doesn't change until the next chapter.

Preview of The Seventh Chapter: He can't be DEAD! (During the Bank Shooting/Alley Fight): Hinata and Sakura went to the Hot Water Village to find out from a villager, that Naruto is not dead. They told them that they heard a loud bang, and that Naruto was defending the village from something that they can't remember what it was. But they did see Naruto leaving the Village and going to a different direction, not back to the Leaf Village. They were relieved to hear that he's alive but wonder where his is at.

Preview of Chapter Eight: NARUTO'S ALIVE!?: The big TV that was in Konoha showed what has happening in the Cloud Village. A unknown person named 'NADA' has attacked the ANBU Ninja, and shot a bank. Shizune looked really closely at 'NADA' and realized that it was Naruto disguise. She remembered that Naruto and Kurenai were practicing making Genjustus to fool others.
