Hello everyone and welcome to my first dive in what can technically be called Crossover territory, but classifying it as such (right now) seems a bit much. Anyways I don't own Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir or Hyperdimension Neptunia as they belong to there proper owners. I only own Emma Thorn. Now then I hope your ready, and as this is my first dive into this territory...Let's Make It Extremely Showy!
=MIRACULOUS=
Ever since she was fairly young Marinette Dupain-Cheng a young itallian-chinese girl who lived in Paris, France knew she was different. For one she was a child of mixed heritage then again two of her best friends were no different. She was the daughter of two bakers.
Secondly was that while her hair was a natural blue-black in color she had this odd streak of lilac hair. She'd tried to get rid of it, but whatever she tried wouldn't work or if she cut the streak out of her hair it would grow back. It was incredibly odd, but she was okay with it.
Third, and well while not odd it certainly wasn't normal. She had been a curious little gamer from birth, and this was not even a joke. Not even a hour after her parents got home from the hospital he had set up a fighting game for him and Sabine as a means to relax a bit.
Maybe it was the flashing lights, the bright colors, or something else she couldn't remember, but by her parents stories baby Marinette had beat the fighting game, on the highest difficulty, with the worst character, and had gotten all perfects.
Though none of that was important as today was little Marinette's 10th birthday, and the girl giggle in excitement "Morning momma!" The little girl exclaimed.
She was in fact in an outfit of her own making as for about a few years now she had really gotten into fashion design. Her blue-black hair was pulled up into a bun revealing her bluebell eyes, and she wore a small pink and white dress and darker pink shoes.
A chinese woman who bore great resemblance to Marinette with similar hair wearing lightweight clothes and an apron looked over.
"Aww...you look so adorable dumpling." Sabine Cheng said to her daughter going over and hugs her.
There was the sound of a crash and a man yelping "Tom!/Papa!" The two females shout and ran towards the back of the bakery.
What greeted them had Marinette laughing and Sabine lets out a small chuckle. Tom Dupain is Sabine's wife, and Marinette's father, and while he was quite the big and stout man he is quite a klutz. He also was covered head to toe in flour had tripped over a crack, and the bags he had been carrying came undone pouring flour all over the man.
Sabine went over to her husband and helped him up "Now dear I know your just as excited as Marinette, but you mustn't hurt yourself." She says.
He rubs his head "Sorry dear. I mean it's not every day your baby girl turns ten. I got a little caught up in the excitement." He said and looked at himself.
Tom then lets out a hearty laugh "Well I should probably go get cleaned up." He says and Sabine giggles before nodding and he leaves.
Turning to the birthday girl Sabine got on eye level with Mari "Now me and your father are going to be busy for a bit so...I've arranged for you to spend time with your friends at Honeybee's place." Sabine says.
Marinette's eyes widen and she cheers "Thanks momma! Thank you!" She cheers hugging her before running off. She had a few things to pack for spending time with her three closest friends, and she recalled each of them so fondly.
The first was Nino Lahiffe who was only a few months older than her. He was never seen without his signature cap, headphones, and glasses.
The second was Le Chien Kim, but they just call him Kim to make it simpler. The vietnamese boy was super competitive and always trying to draw his friends into dares.
The third was Chloe Bourgeois the daughter of the former Mayor of Paris who had soundly lost the most recent election. This lead to a number of...issues between her parents as while Andre still had the hotel Audrey took it hard because it was a lose of power and status.
The group had bonded strongly and Marinette had given all of her friends nicknames. Chloe was called Honeybee as while she was sweet the girl had a powerful sting like a bee. Nino she called Cappie because well...while he was sometimes seen without his headphones or glasses during his short time trying contacts he was never without his red cap. Kim's nickname was Goku because of his appetite, unwillingness to turn down a challenge, and he was like a monkey.
Marinette's own nicknamed given to her by her friends was Neptune in relation to her birthday as the ruling planet was Neptune. Chloe had actually spent time looking up idea's for a nickname and came across it, and it honestly just kind of stuck.
With her things packed, dressed for the chilly weather, and a quick kiss goodbye to her mother she was off to the hotel to see her friends. When she got there the doorman smiled and let her in "Chloe is expecting you Marinette. Everyone is up in her room." the doorman spoke.
"Thank you sir!" Marinette chirps and heads in going right towards the room.
When she opened in a yellow and blond blur tackled her "Neptune!" Chloe exclaimed. The blond haired ponytail girl was a bit shorter than her, and wore a black and yellow gold top, and a matching skirt.
"Hey dudette." Nino greets as he wore a deep blue top with green pants, and of course on top of his head was his signature cap.
Mari waves as she gets up Chloe pouting as it had been Kim who got her off. The boy's hair was messy as always and he wore his favorite orange sports sweater and pants.
"I'm so glad to see you all. Umm...not that wasn't going to in a few hours..." Mari starts.
Chloe put a finger to her lips "Don't you start on us with that Neptune. We're all here to have fun, and that's what we're going to do." Chloe says.
Kim grins "How about a game of truth or dare?" He asked.
"NO!" Was shouted so loud that it could be heard down in the lobby, and Andre shakes his head knowing the kids antics. He just hoped this didn't end up like last time they played at the hotel in Chloe's room.
"Where did they get fireworks anyways?" The man thought thinking back.
The kids would indeed have fun as they waited for the party that would happen later.
In another time perhaps this group of friends would only be at three while the fourth never became friends with the others. Though as it is now Marinette considered herself blessed as she had a good family, the three best friends that anybody could ask for, and while she was strange she was accepting of herself.
=MIRACULOUS=
Ten year old Marinette groans as she wakes up hearing a steady beeping noise. There was bright lights, noises of people running about outside the room, her throat felt dry, and when she tried to sit up she felt a bit dizzy.
Laying back down she felt a bit scared as she didn't know where she was, but then a woman in white garb walked in. Upon seeing the awake Marinette her eyes widen and she starts calling out for someone to call her parents.
The woman then came over to talk to her as she saw how confused and scared the girl seemed. Talking things through Marinette eventually recalled the incident that had happened on her birthday.
Her and her friends had gotten there along with others that were invited, but there was one person who she'd never invite. Emma Thorn the daughter of Paris's new mayor, bully supreme, and...Chloe's fraternal twin sister.
After leaving and divorcing Andre she had revealed that she had an afair years ago, and Chloe wasn't even his. She could only take care of one child, and had decided to invest in Chloe while leaving Emma with the deadbeat of a man she had been with that night. The man didn't remain a deadbeat for long as after what happened Nathan Thorn worked hard becoming a top notch lawyer eventually working his way into politics.
To say Emma was spoiled was an understatement as on top of being Paris new mayor Nathan Thorn ran what had become Paris top law office with a high rate of success. So the man had money to spend on his daughter and Emma wasn't afraid to flaunt her fathers wealth and status.
Emma also wasn't afraid to bully and go after her twin and friends as she see's them of lower status than herself, and to add salt to the wound for Chloe she liked to talk about how often she spent time with her beloved mother.
Emma had invited herself to the party, and like the spoiled brat she is tried to make Marinette's birthday party all about her. Marinette remembered confronting Emma in her room and asking her as nice as she could to leave. Then well...
"Go away squinty eyes. Everyone that's coming to this party is coming because of me. You should be proud to have me here." Emma had said.
Marinette looked at her and before she could restrain herself spoke "Your stupid you know that right." she states.
Enraged at the 'insult' Emma reacted accordingly, and pushed Marinette hard with all her strength through the open trap door.
"Marinette!/Neptune!" People yelled, and her world had gone black.
And according to the nurse that had been two months ago. She had hit her head hard, and while she had lost blood it was good she had a common blood type. Unfortunately she had ended up in a small coma, and in that time her parents had sought out legal action, but settled when Mayor Thorn himself offered a deal.
The nurse soon left to fill out some paperwork as the door came in to run a few tests. He would be gone after a bit as well.
Now with a bit of time to herself Marinette had time to consider her own situation. Those two months in a coma she hadn't been...sleeping per say, but caught up in memories. Memories that she had at first denied being her own, and expected to forget upon waking up.
Yet she didn't, and recalling those memories made her really glad she was Marinette. To her family and friends a few things seemed to change about Marinette some subtle and others pretty obvious.
First and foremost while she was still a funny loving girl she had a deadly serious side that can pop up. More so when starting taking the position of Class Representative at school and gained a reputation for always fulfilling her promises.
Secondly one of her favorite colors purple became her most despised, and anything with purple in it was discarded. She's never wore it since, and finds it a hard color of fabric to work with.
Third her gaming skills seemed to have shot through the roof, and this reflected in other area's as the girls creativity seemed to just soar.
Fourth while she allowed her closest friends to call her Neptune she never allowed others to call her that nickname.
The final and most important one known only to Marinette was that she discovered over the years she's been gathering and storing a power within her body.
This power was Share Energy, and Marinette was in fact the reborn form of a goddess from another dimension known as the Hyper Dimension. She had yet to fully recall what lead to her original self's death and rebirth in this dimension, but she was grateful for it.
She had a new life, and her "friends" and "sister" back in the Hyper Dimension could deal with the consequences of there actions. She wasn't completely bitter though as a few of said friends were not at fault, and certainly the other version of herself wasn't at fault.
"This is my life, and I'll live it with no regrets. Here's hoping it'll be normal from here on out though." Ten year old Marinette says to herself not knowing that in three years time something...miraculous would enter her world.

Hey guys welcome to my first dive into Miraculous, but as you can see it's clearly a crossover as well. Now while I normally would put this under the crossovers this AU hasn't fully yet become one. Now I'll advise you that there will be a couple of changes due to the circumstances with this AU. Marinette herself being quite the big change in this AU as while she'll be a bit the same there will be quite a few changes to her. Will I actually introduce Neptunia characters into this? Maybe...maybe not. Now then I believe I have gone on long enough so until the next time this has been your friendly Fictionpress and Fanfiction author decode9!
