As Portia walks towards her bed, she starts to go into her wardrobe and opens the door. As she grabs her nightgown, she starts to take off her own clothes as she puts on the nightgown. She starts to sit down and cross her arms. She was feeling a little grumpy. I can't believe it. Right now I had to be stuck spending Christmas with Messy and her stupid friends, Penny and Millie! she thought. The phone rang as Portia decided to get out of her bed and pulls out the phone.

"Hello?" she asked.

"Hey, Portia. How is your Christmas?" a voice is heard. It was Gwen, Portia's best friend.

"Horrible! Messy and her stupid friend won't stop bothering me!" Portia complained.

"It's okay. I'm glad you're not with Stinkenbottom anymore, but trust me, at least you're going to be like Ebenezer Scrooge."

Portia became confused.

"Ebenezer Scrooge?"

"Yeah, you said "Bah humbug" a lot , been watching tons of A Christmas Carol movies and episodes lately and you get grumpy about Christmas." Gwen told her friend. Portia became very surprised. "Plus, trust me. You're going to be visited by three ghosts."

"Three ghosts?"

"That's what I said." the Asian girl replied.

Portia decided to hang up and close the phone. As she lays into her bed, she closes her eyes and goes to sleep. It wasn't long before she heard clanking chains and eerie moaning. She wakes up.

"Huh? What's that?" Portia asked. It was a ghostly figure of her friend, Gwen Wu. She was glowing a bright aura around her translucent body and was tinted blue. She wore the same clothes she wore before, a hankerchief tied over her head and chains all over her body. Portia gasped.

"Gwen, is that you?" Portia asked. Gwen starts to nod. "I thought you're still alive. Why are you here?"

"Poooortiaaa, I am here to waaarn yoou..." the ghostly Gwen spoke in an ghostly tone.

"Warn me about what?"

"The three ghosts. You will be visited by three ghosts. They will be here to change your ways. If you don't..." Gwen wailed. Her face begins to rot as her eyeball pops out of her socket. Her lips began to melt away into a form of a skeletal mouth. "Yoooou will end up like meeee..."

Portia lets out of a loud scream and starts to cry. Her face morphs back to normal.

"I'm sorry, Gwen! I promise I will change my ways!" Portia sobbed.

"Good, for right now. I will let the first ghost to teach you a lesson you will never forget."

The ghostly Gwen starts to glow into a bright light and vanished. Portia gasped and finds out that she was gone. She starts to sigh in belief.

"Glad that's over." Portia said.
