As Portia was sleeping, a translucent figure that took the form of a plus size woman wearing a green robe, a holly berry crown full of leaves complete with candles laying on top of it and mistletoe earrings appeared out of the wall. It took the form of Bessie's mom, Hilary. She tapped Portia in the shoulder and flew inside it. As Portia looked around, the ghost phases through the wall. Portia turned around to see the ghostly woman.
"Boo!" cried the ghostly woman. Portia lets out of a loud scream as she cowered with fear.
"Who are you?!" Portia shivered with fright. The ghost floats through the wall and towards the blonde girl.
"Why I'm the Ghost of Christmas Present." she introduced herself.
"But you look like Bessie's mom!" Portia yelled.
"Good guess, but actually no." the ghost told Portia. "Now come along, we will travel to the present."
The ghost grabs Portia's hands together as they glow into forms of light as they vanished. As they were teleported back outside Bessie's house, it was filled with lots of Christmas lights. They look outside the window to see Hilary, Bessie and Ben with Happy carrying their mugs of hot chocolate. They are watching A Christmas Carol together. There was a Christmas tree complete with presents under there.
"Oh boy, this is my favorite part. This is where Scrooge is in the past." Bessie said.
"Yeah, but at least he's going to change his ways." Ben smiled. They are watching the part where a younger Scrooge is dancing with Belle and Fezziwig.
"This is the time where your friend Bessie is at home with her family." the ghost said to the blonde girl.
"So you mean Messy is still watching A Christmas Carol without me?!" she cried out. The ghost nodded. "Finally..."
Ben sips his mug as Happy picked out a marshmellow and ate it.
"I like the Ghost of Christmas Past." Bessie spoke. Happy started barking as if he was talking. "He's my favorite ghost."
"Me too, but at least he's very benign." Hilary replied. Portia looked at the ghost.
"Oh, so her mother does look like you." she told her as the ghost uses her elbow to hit her. "Hey, don't elbow me!"
"I may look like Bessie's mother, but I'm actually not! I'm the Ghost of Christmas Present, for Pete's sake!" the ghost cried out.
"Listen here, I want you to take me to Gwen's house!" Portia commanded the ghost. "Right. Now."
The ghost sighed as she grabs Portia's hands as they start to glow. They start to teleport to the interior of Gwen's house. It was the kitchen where Gwen and her brothers are eating gingerbread cookies. The youngest of Gwen's brothers is drinking out of a milk bottle.
"Man, I sure do love these gingerbread cookies." Gwen said.
"Gwen! Why are you even here? I thought you were some sort of ghost." Portia shouted as she walks towards the raven-haired Asian girl. She unwittingly walked through a table. "Huh?"
She walks backwards and finds out that she's intangible.
"That's weird. She can't see nor hear me."
"Actually, Gwen can't hear you. At all. Ever. It's like you're watching television, except that you're the one watching television and the whole thing is television itself!" the ghost told Portia.
"This isn't fair! Ghost of Christmas Present, can you please take me to Penny's house?" Portia requested.
"Okay, fine! I will take you there." the ghost grabs Portia's hands as they glow and teleport into Penny's house. It shows an overweight man wrapping his daughter's presents. "This is Penny's house and right here is Penny's dad."
Penny's father uses a piece of tape and places it on the present.
"There! Chicken's present is finally finished!" he said. As he walked away, he phases through Portia and the ghost.
"Woah, he passed through me! Weird." Portia said.
"He's actually the shadow of the present." the ghost told her. They both watch as Penny walks into her father.
"Daddy, is this a present for me?" Penny asked.
"Yes, but don't open them yet, chicken." he said.
"Yay!" she cheered as she walked away.
"Please, ghost! Take me home! I want you to take me home!" Portia screamed. "People can't see nor hear me! Even Messy Stinkenbottom...I mean Bessie Higgenbottom, too!"
"Fine, fine. I will take you home." the ghost sighed as she snapped her fingers. As she vanishes into a form of light, she was teleported back into her bedroom.
"I can't believe it. First the past, now the present. What's next? The future?" Portia said to herself as she starts to lay down and wraps her arms around her legs.
