Today, was a pretty important day for Leia – she would become the first youngling passing a mental test.
Mental tests were a new thing, that Yoda got along with his new classes system. Younglings knew about it, but never saw what it actually was.
The fact that it would be Leia being the first passing it, the Jedi Masters had already discussed many times, so it wasn't a surprise.
While the kids were sitting in the class, reading books, a delegation of Jedi Masters had entered.
– "Leia". Master Agen Kolar called her.
Leia quickly got up and ran to the Masters.
– "Here I go! Wish me luck!" – Excited Leia screamed.
– "Good luck!" – Her friends waved to her, and Tukeo, who basically idolized Leia, got to her, and hugged. Leia smiled, and pat her on the head.
– "Okay, go back to Kaina". – Leia said, and Tukeo went back to the classroom.
In addition to two required high masters – Obi-Wan Kenobi and Agen Kolar, Anakin was present too.
Leia in no way was scared – on the country, was happy. Leia thought of herself as someone really important.
When they entered, Master Yoda was already waiting for them in front of some weird machine - big, white mechanical chair with lots of belts:
– "Are nervous you are, Leia?"
– "Master Yoda". – She bowed. – "Not at all! I'm actually happy!"
– "Okay, get in this chair, we will help you". – Obi-Wan said.
Leia was sat into a big chair, with a display in front of it. Agen Kolar put on safety belts, and Yoda got some round droid.
– "Leia". – Anakin said. – "It's going to hurt a little".
– "It's okay! Thanks for worrying about me, Master Skywalker!" – Enthusiastically said Leia.
A syringe came out of the droid, and injected Leia with a serum. She twitched from the pain, but immediately froze. Leia looked like she was sleeping.
– "Is she going to be okay?" – Anakin asked worryingly.
– "She will" – Said Agen.
Anakin looked like Agen's words didn't reassure him.
Leia woke up in some white space. When tried to get up, the black and purple circles have sprawled in different directions.
– "What is it?" – Leia asked herself out loud, but to her horror, she couldn't hear her own voice.
– "Wh… Why can't I hear myself?" – She thought.
Leia prepared to scream, but luckily, calmed down.
– "Okay. It's a test". – She breathed in. – "I don't want to embarrass myself".
When finally coming to her senses, Leia moved forward. When walking, she suddenly fell to the ground.
– Aaah!
After falling, Leia regained consciousness, and started to look around.
To her shock, Leia recognized where she was:
– "Is it… Our favorite Naboo beach?"
Leia looked around, and saw herself and her family.
Luke and Leia looked like they were two or three. An episode of the past.
The Skywalkers were having fun – splashing themselves with water, riding on the matrasses or Anakin was lifting her or Luke with his Force tricks. Everyone was laughing and were happy.
Leia tried to get her family to notice her, but she was invisible for them.
She sat on the sand and wanted to watch her family having fun and being just that... - family.
But suddenly, with the blink of an eye, the beach and her family disappeared.
– "No! Don't go! Come back!" – Leia screamed but her scream has fallen into the void.
But it was too late.
The next, sad Leia got up, and again saw herself.
But now, it was different.
She was much older, and had a lightsaber in hand.
And older Leia was surrounded by her friends and the Jedi Masters. All her friends, even the little Tukeo, got much bigger. Luke was hugging Leia, and all of them were smiling.
It was the final ceremony for the class 1 to become a full Jedi. The Masters looked happy, and Anakin was crying the tears of happiness, being proud not only for his kids, but for the whole class.
An episode of the future.
Leia looked inspired, and even cried the tears of happiness.
But, unfortunately to her, when she wanted to stay a little longer, again, the ceremony and the older version of her and her friends had disappeared.
– "No… Please, stay a little longer" … – Leia pleaded.
And now, after waking up, Leia found herself inside the Temple.
But what she saw was truly horrifying.
She saw some dark silhouette, standing across from her, looking right at her.
The dark silhouette was wearing something similar to a mask, that reflected a red light. It was a red lightsaber.
Then, the dark silhouette turned, and then, Leia saw her father, who was sitting on his knees.
Anakin Skywalker was defeated.
The silhouette swung his burning red lightsaber at Anakin.
– "DAD!" – Screamed Leia.
But Anakin and the terrifying dark silhouette had already melted in the spinning darkness.
Leia suddenly found herself in the chair, surrounded by the worrying Masters.
Leia let out a burning scream and tears, and fell on the floor, losing consciousness.
Masters rushed to help Leia, but Anakin outran them:
– "Don't come any closer to her!" – He screamed in rage.
Masters froze in terror, looking at Anakin, who was looking at them with burning, raging eyes, protecting Leia, who was lying unconscious.
