I had done something I regret.

I know my old best friend would be disappointed at this.

After dating for six years and doing fine I cheated on my ex-boyfriend a year ago and have been ashamed of myself for doing it.

I was at Sally's castle kissing her when I heard something.

"Babe?" someone said causing us to jump and look at him.

"Huh?" we said together and my boyfriend shook his head.

"It's not what it looks like!" I said.

He shook his head again.

"I thought you loved me, but I guess not." he said. "We're done!" he said then raised his hand. "CHAOS CONTROL!" he yelled and was gone.

That day happened exactly a year ago.

I know he had just finished a fight with Eggman with the help of his teammates Tails and Knuckles as usual and we were all going to hang out at the bar for a while.

Even after what I did they're still my friends and I agreed to be nice and hope he'd be there.

Tails and Knuckles are his best friends and were surprised I agreed to it.

"You don't have to come with us you know." I heard Knuckles say.

"I know, I want to hang out with you guys to so I'll go and ignore him." he said.

That hurt a lot.

"OK. If you want to leave you can go ahead and leave." Tails said.

I saw him nod and head to the bar.

Me and my best friend Rouge were now at the bar after I used Chaos Control as usual and sat next to her.

I saw Amy, Cream, Silver, Blaze, then Tails, Knuckles and him.

My ex-boyfriend, Sonic the Hedgehog.

We looked at each other for a second and the others noticed and froze.

Then he looked away and sat next to Tails and Knuckles as usual.

We ordered what we wanted I looked at him but he still tried to ignore him.

When the food came we talked about what we've been doing but I was silent.

Everyone could tell he wanted to leave but is to loyal to a friend to leave.

"Sonic?" I said but he ignored me.

Then he got ketchup on his shirt by accident so he headed to the bathroom to clean it up.

I got up and followed him to try and fix this up.

When I got there I opened the door and saw him standing there cleaning his shirt and he looked up to see me looking at him.

"Can we talk?" I asked.

He stood there in silence looking at me.

"No." he said.

"Please!"

"No."

I ignored what he said and got closer then put my hand on his shoulders and kissed him.

He froze while I did that then he came back and kicked me hard.

"Ow!" I said and rubbed my knee.

He's getting strong and I'll probably get a bruise after that.

"I said no. We're done, you cheated on me and we're done." he said and started to leave.

Then I held his arm so he turned around.

"Get off me!"

"Please just listen to me!" I said.

"No! I'm done with you! Now get the hell out of my life! You can still be friends but I don't think I'll ever hang out with them if you're there."

I felt tears wanting to water.

Then he raised his hand with a Chaos Emerald with him as usual now.

"CHAOS SPERE!" he said and knocked me out.

A few minutes later I woke up and looked around but he left.

I can tell he left for the very last time.

I started to cry wishing I could tell myself to not do it.

When I calmed down I cleaned up my face and went back to eat.

I saw the Sonic had left causing me to fight tears again.

When I got to the table I sat down and saw everyone looking at me.

"Shadow?" Rouge said.

I said nothing to take a deep breath then looked at them.

"What have I done?" he said.

"You broke his heart. That's what you did." Knuckles said.

"I don't know why I did that! I had a plan on doing something I had dreamed of and cheated on him!"

That confused them all so I took a shaky breath.

"I was going to propose to him."

They were all shocked and if I wasn't so upset I would have laughed.

"You were what?!" Silver said.

"I was gonna propose to him and spend the rest of his life. Get married, have kids, maybe find a way to get him immortal or find a way so I can die to go with him." I said seeing my old hope.

Then I sighed and called a waitress and asked her if she could wrap this up. She did as told and I headed home.

When I got there I put the food in the fridge then went to bed and lay there thinking one thing.

What have I done?

I started crying and then fell asleep.

I made a mistake and was never going to fix it.

The love of my life was gone.

So I'm thinking about making a sequel of the two of them and have it be a P.O.V. of them all or just Sonic and Shadow. But I don't know. That one might be chapters to so I can make the chapter take place at their P.O.V. most of the time. But we'll see. Give me an owl to see what you all think.
