Merry Christmas everyone and I hope that you're staying safe! This is an idea that I have been thinking about.
Black clouds covers the sky over a completely quiet city. A young knight walked through the streets; his whole body shaken.
"Hey!" A voice suddenly called, making the young knight jump.
"Y-yes." The young knight replied in a shaky tone of voice as he turned towards the source of the voice to see an older knight.
"Help us over here, would you!" The older knight called, making the younger knight nod his head before making his way towards the older knight before the two of them walked through a side-street.
"Where did you came from before becoming a knight?" The older knight asked, glancing over his shoulder.
"Cains, sir." The younger knight replied, making the older knight raise an eyebrow.
"Cains? I've been a serving as a knight for over 40 years, but I've never heard of that place." The older knight explained, causing the younger knight to nod his head slightly.
"Its no surprise sir. Cains is basically in the boonies." The younger knight explained, making the older knight hum slightly.
"You never make it has a Holy knight's apprentice with wimpy personality like that." The older knight commented, making the younger knight gain a shock expression on his face.
"M-me?! A Holy k-knight?! I don't that's possible for me." The younger knight said in a shock tone of voice.
It was then that the two of them entered a large open area where a tower stood in the center.
However, the younger knight's eyes are focus on the ground, widened in shock.
"A disturbing sight, right? This is all done by the hands of seven people." The older knight said, staring at the many corpses that littered the ground.
Birds chirp throughout the countryside, all is peaceful except for a large knight wearing rusty armor and a red tattered cape.
"…..The…..Seven….Deadly Sins…" The knight muttered as it trudge with heavy footsteps, its visor making its impossible to tell which gender the knight is.
"All right! here's your beer, gentlemen!" A boy with ash-white hair and green eyes, wearing white clothes with a black waistcoat and black shoes, said as he place a tray carrying tankers full of beer on a table.
"Oho." One of the customers said as he and the four others picked up their drinks. It was then that the sound of a door opened is heard, making the ash-white hair boy to look up.
"Welcome to the Bird's Nest. How many people, sir?" The ash-white hair boy said as people started to walk through the doorway.
"Three." One of the newly arrived people replied, making the ash-white air boy nod his head.
"Can we get some snacks? Everything will do." Another of the newly arrived asked, making the ash-white hair boy nod his head again before disappearing, presumably into the kitchen.
"By the way, since when there was a bar on top of the hill here?" One of the customers asked, becoming confuse.
"You're right…..I feel like there wasn't anything here when I passed through three days ago….." "Another customer said, gaining a frown on his face.
"Whatever! Anywhere that sells beer is good in my books." A third customer said, making the others nod their heads in agreement.
After short period of time, the ash-white hair boy returned, carrying a pie. "Sorry to keep you waiting." The ash-white hair boy said as he place the pie onto the table.
"Ohh, it looks delicious!" A customer said as he and the others prepared to eat the pie.
"I wouldn't eat the pie if I was you." A voice spoke, causing the three customers and the ash-white hair boy to look up to see a female with short black hair and red eyes, wearing a waitress uniform that is a pale orange with black lines.
The deadpan looking expression on the girl's face made the three customers slightly nervous.
"A-and why's that?" One of the customers asked, stuttering slightly.
"The Bird's Nest may be popular with it's beer, but it's food is terrible." The female said, making one of the customers angry as he turn his attention towards the ash-white hair boy.
"You were serious about serving us bad food?!" The customer asked in an angry tone of voice.
"Well, you did say anything was fine." The ash-white hair boy pointed out, scratching the back of his head with a slightly nervous smile on his face.
"Are you looking for a fight?!" The angry customer asked as he stood up off his seat.
"H-hey. That kid has a sword….." One of the three customers said in a nervous tone of voice, noticing the sword strap to the ash-white hair's back.
The handle of the blade has a scaly-like design with a dragon's head at the hilt.
"So. what will it be?" The ash-white hair asked, a slight dangerous gilt appearing in his eyes.
The angry customer became silent for a few seconds for a few seconds before slowly returning to his seat.
"Really, Secre? There was no need to speak out. They going to find out anyway." The ash-white hair boy said to the now known Secre, the two of them having moved to the counter.
"I just save taste-buds, that's all." Secre responded, making the ash-white hair boy sigh slightly.
"Hey. Have you heard about the wondering Rust knight?" A customer asked another customer.
"It wears rusted armor…..that ghost knight that's been reappearing and disappearing lately, right?" The customer said, making the first customer nod his head.
The conversation caught the ash-white hair boy's and Secre's attention.
"Pretty creepy. Apparently, it is said that the rust knight has been muttering to itself. I think it was about the Seven Deadly Sins." The first customer said, making the second customer shock.
"You mean that group of criminals attempted to overthrow the kingdom ten years ago?!" The second customer asked in a shock tone of voice, making the first nod his head in response.
"Those guys haven't been caught, right?" The second customer asked, making the first customer nod his head.
"Yeah. Not a single one of them. There are rumors that all of them have died already…" The first customer explained, making the second customer nod his head slightly.
"They're definitely dead! There's no way that the Holy knights would just let them go…Although the wanted posters are renewed every year. Doesn't that mean that the Holy knights are still searching for them?" The second customer asked, making the first customer nod his head.
"Maybe the Rust knight is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins and is searching for it's comrades." The first customer guessed, making the second customer nod his head.
Another customer, would had been listening to the conversation, turn his head towards the ash-white hair boy and Secre.
"What do you think of that story, Kid, Little lady?" The customer asked with a grin on his face.
"I'm no kid. My name is Staria." The now named Staria introduce himself.
"And he's the owner of Bird's nest." Secre added, making the customer surprise.
"Seriously? He's the owner?" The customer said just as the door opened.
"Welcome!" Staria called before looking up to see the new customer…..a knight wearing rusted armor, along with a tattered red cape.
Silence descended around the bar as everyone notice the rusty knight.
"…..The Se…ven…..Deadly…..Sins…." The rust knight said through deep breaths.
"…..ITS HEEEEERE! THE RUST KNIGHT!" The customers shouted in fear before madly scrambling out of the bar, leaving only Staria and Secre.
Staria jumped over the bar and stood in front of the rust knight.
"Who are you?" Staria asked, not showing any fear on his face.
The two of them stared at each other whilst Secre became tense.
However, the Rust knight fell backwards, making a crashing sound and the helmet rolled across the floor.
"A female?" Secre said, her eyes widening slightly whilst as she and Staria stared down at a girl's face that look the same age as them with long silver hair that is tied up in two pig-tails and some of it covering her right eye.
She also have two ear-piercings in the shape of purple crosses.
"Come on. We better take that armor off and put her in a bed." Staria said, making Secre nod her head.
The two of them removed the armor away from the silver hair girl's body, revealing that she is wearing a purple dress over a silver coloured blazer that ended with two tailcoats along with silver coloured leg-warmers. These articles of clothing are frilly in some way.
"Why do you think is wearing such rusty armor? Is she truly one of the Seven Deadly Sins?" Secre asked, glancing towards Staria who was frowning slightly.
"...We find out as she wakes up." Staria replied as he stared down at the silver hair girl.
Secre stared at Staria before her eyes narrowed slightly.
"Your not thinking of doing something perverted towards her, are you?" Secre asked, making Staria jump slightly.
"W-what make you think that?!" Staria asked in a shock tone of voice.
"Hmm….call it a feeling." Secre replied, making Staria sweat-drop slightly.
"That isn't much to go on…" Staria said in a slight nervous tone of voice.
It was then that a groan is heard, causing both Staria and Secre to turn their heads towards the silver hair girl who was slowly waking up.
"Ehr…where am I?" The silver hair girl asked in a slight daze tone of voice.
"You came into our bar in a daze before suddenly kneeling over." Staria replied, causing the silver hair girl to blink her eyes as she glance between Staria and Secre.
"Bar?" The silver hair girl asked in confusion.
"That's right, the Bird's Nest. I'm the owner and she's the waitress." Staria explained whilst Secre nodded her head slightly.
"Your the bar owner…whilst carrying a sword?" The silver hair girl asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yep!" Staria exclaimed before suddenly drawing the dragon hilted sword which cause the silver hair girl to flinch.
However, when the silver hair girl looked at the sword again, she saw something completely obvious.
"The blade is…broken…." The silver hair girl said in a confuse tone of voice.
"Yeah. I mostly used the sword to make sure that the customers are paying their bills properly." Staria said with a smirk on his face as he put the broken sword back into it's sheath.
"Its pretty effective." Secre stated, making the silver hair glance over to here before becoming nervous under the deadpan expression on Secre's face.
"Did I do something wrong?" The silver hair girl thought, starting to become worried that she made Secre angry.
"Don't worry about Secre's expression. She's like that all the time. My name is Staria by the way." Staria explained whilst also introducing the both of them to the silver hair girl.
"Oh, right. My name is Noelle." The now known Noelle introduce herself before a slight rumbling sound is heard.
Noelle started to blush whilst Staria chuckled slightly.
"You must be hungry. I'll go and get something prepared." Staria said as he made his way out of the room.
"We don't even know each other and he serving me with food?" Noelle thought with a slight surprise expression on her face whilst Secre sighed slightly, knowing what is going on in Noelle's head.
The three of them are in the bar area with a plate of food in front of Noelle.
"Wow! It looks delicious." Noelle said with a happy expression on her face before taking a bite out of the food.
"Taste disgusting, doesn't it?" Secre commented as she and Staria saw how Noelle froze.
After a few seconds of complete silence, Noelle suddenly grab Staria, who just happened to be sitting in front of her, by the neckline and glared at him.
"Is that why you served me food, because its taste horrible?" Noelle asked in a angry tone of voice.
"N-no! My cooking skills may not be great, but it did look like your are really hungry." Staria replied quickly, becoming nervous under the Noelle's glare.
After a few seconds, Noelle released Staria before…continuing to eat the food.
Both Staria and Secre stared at her.
"It may taste horrible…but I haven't had a proper meal in a long time." Noelle explained as she continued eating, whilst inwardly feeling nervous at Staria's and Secre's stare.
"So…..why were you wearing that armor and wondering the countryside?" Staria asked once Noelle finished eating.
"I'm searching for them. The Seven Deadly Sins." Noelle replied, making both Staria and Secre to widen their eyes in shock.
However, it was at that moment that large banging can be heard from the door.
"Open up! There was a notice from the village people! We are the knights garrisoned at the base of the mountain who serve the Holy knight himself. We here to capture the Rust knight who appears to be one of the Seven Deadly Sins!" A voice shouted from behind the door.
"It looks like we have some noisy guests." Staria commented, making Secre nod her head in agreement.
"Holy knights….." Noelle said in a nervous tone of voice whilst gaining a scared expression on her face, something that cause Staria to gain a concern expression on his face.
"Come out Quietly! If you do so, we won't unsheathe our swords." The leader of a group of five knights shouted through the door.
"Kukuku. It looks like that the Rust knight is scared of us." The leader thought with a smirk on his face. However, the door remained shut.
"All right! I give you thirty seconds to/Don't need it." Staria suddenly said as he opened the door.
"That was fast." The group leader thought in a stunned "tone" of "voice" before regaining his posture.
"Who are you?" The group leader asked as he examine Staria.
"I'm the owner of this bar." Staria responded in calm tone of voice, not intimidated by the group of five knights.
"Where is the Rust knight?" The group leader asked, sounding serious.
Footsteps started to be heard from behind Staria, making the other knights become nervous whilst placing hands on their swords.
After a few seconds, the Rust knight appeared in the doorway.
"You called." The Rust knight said in a blank tone of voice.
"So this is the Rust knight, the supposed member of the Seven Deadly Sins. The reports says that its always been muttering. I guess it must be serious now that it's talking normally." The group leader thought, becoming tense.
"Do not dare in trying anything. Your coming with us, Criminal." The group leader said as he unsheathed his sword, making the other four knights unsheathe their swords as well.
Silence descended as the Rust knight scan the group of knights in front of her.
"….fine." The Rust knight said before taking a step forward.
"Remove your helmet. We need to make sure that you are a member of the Seven Deadly Sins to begin with." The group leader said and the other knights started to become tense as the Rust knight lifted her arms before removing her helmet…revealing Secre.
"….Boss. She doesn't look anything like the wanted posters." One of the knights said, becoming more nervous under the deadpan expression on Secre's face.
"Don't be an idiot! One of the Sins wears a helmet on their wanted poster. That must be them." The group leader said, snapping slightly at the knight who spoken.
"But on the other hand, she's way too young to be a member of the Seven Deadly Sins. They attempted to overthrow the kingdom ten years ago, she must have been younger than ten back then." The group leader thought as he studied Secre's face.
"But then there is magic that can grant immorality. She must have done that to herself." The group leader thought, satisfied with this idea.
However, a thought appeared in his head as he turned his attention towards Staria.
"You don't look harmed in anyway. Are you aiding this criminal?" The group leader asked, staring down at Staria with a suspicious look in his eyes.
"W-well she-Ofh!" Staria began to say but stop when Secre suddenly hit him on the head hard, causing the ash-white hair boy crash onto the group.
This cause the group of knights to become alarmed as they watch Secre slammed her foot into Staria's back and started to twist it.
"Owowowowowow!" Staria exclaimed in pain as Secre continued to twist her foot into Staria's back.
"Does this answer your question?" Secre's asked, looking up to stare at the group of knights.
"Yep! She's certainly a member of the Seven Deadly Sins." The group of knights all thought at the same time.
It was at this moment that one of the knights spotted movement from the corner of his eye.
"Sir Alioni! There's a women running out from the back!" The knight shouted, causing both Staria's and Secre's eyes to widen slightly.
"What?!" The known Alioni exclaimed as he turned his attention towards the direction that the knight is pointing at.
"Is that women an ally of the Rust knight?" Alioni thought, frowning slightly.
"You two! You coming with me to apprehend that women. The other two will escort the Rust knight down the hill…..along with getting the kid some medical attention." Alioni instructed, making the other knights nod their heads before Alioni and two of the knights started to chase after Noelle.
"I can't get captured here! I won't stop until I find them!" Noelle thought in her head as she ran through the forest, glancing over her shoulder to see the three knights following after her.
Behind the three knights, at some distance away, are Staria and Secre, who has taken off the rusty armor and is now wearing a black dress that seemed to be made of feathers, having changed clothes before donning the rusty armor.
"Gzz. That girl sure is determined in finding the Seven Deadly Sins. She didn't even bothered to wait until the cost was clear." Staria commented, making Secre nod her head.
"By the way….don't you think that you went overboard with the role-play? That was painful." Staria asked, referring to how Secre hurt him.
"Who ever say that all of it was role-play?" Secre responded with a smirk on her face.
"Seriously?! You were actually aiming to cause me pain!?" Staria exclaimed, making Secre nod her head.
Staria sighed slightly before gaining a determined expression on his face as he and Secre increase their running pace.
With Alioni, the leader of the group of knights was smirking slightly.
"If we do manage to successfully capture the Seven Deadly Sin, then the reputation of the Bead Of The Mountain Cat will rise!" Alioni thought before hearing cries behind him.
Becoming confuse, Alioni glance over his shoulder to see his two fellow knights have fallen onto the ground and Secre closing on him.
"Huh? Did that criminal killed the two escorts?" Alioni thought, his eyes widening slightly.
"What about that runt of a bar owner? Did the Rust knight let him live? No. There's no time to think about a civilian." Alioni thought as he gritted his teeth in frustration before turning his head back around.
However, his eyes widened in shock to see that Noelle has disappeared.
"Huh?! where did that girl go? Did she disappeared into thin-!" Alioni thought before suddenly stopping as he realize that he's quickly approaching the cliff's edge.
"Whoa!" Alioni exclaimed as he luckily managed to stop himself.
"T-that was a close one." Alioni muttered, breathing deeply as he took a look over the edge.
"Did that girl fell over the edge…." Alioni thought as he started to sweat at the thought of him falling off the edge.
However it was then that Secre appeared behind Alioni and kicked him in the back, causing him to be sent flying off the edge.
"AAAAAAAAAAA!" Alioni shouted as he fell down the hill.
"Hmp." Secre simply said as she watch Alion fall.
"Nice kick, Secre." A voice spoke, making Secre to look up to see Staria in the tree with Noelle in his arms.
"Y-you…save me….." Noelle said, she almost sharing the same fate as Alioni if it wasn't for Staria grabbing her at the last moment.
Staria grinned slightly.
"Your welcome. So, how about you tell us the rest of the story." Staria said, making Noelle nod her head before the two of them got down from the tree.
"The reason why I'm looking for the Seven Deadly Sins….is to stop the Holy knights." Noelle said, causing both Staria and Secre to glance at each other confusedly.
"Why would you do that? The Holy knights protect the Kingdom of Britannia." Secre pointed out just as Noelle took a deep breath.
"That isn't the case any more. The Holy knights are planning on waging a war. Forcibly recruiting people from the nearby towns and villages. The men are training as soldiers, the women and children being used to collect food for storage and the elderly are constructing defenses." Noelle explained, making Secre widen her eyes slightly.
"So I'm guessing that the Holy knights dethroned the king then?" Staria guessed, making Noelle nod her head.
"That's correct. The Kingdom is basically being controlled by the Holy knights and their tyrant-like influence will soon reach this region. If there was one thing that can stop the Holy knights, it would be the Seven Deadly Sins." Noelle explained, gaining a sad expression on her face.
"So your searching for that group, even knowing what sort of people they are?" Staria asked, making Noelle nod her head.
"When I was five or six years old…..my father told me and my siblings stories about them. Apparently, the Seven Deadly Sins was the strongest and dangerous order of Holy knights in the kingdom, formed my seven brutal criminal who have the symbols of seven beasts carved into their bodies. You heard the stories, right? About how they were accused of plotting to overthrow the kingdom and disappeared when the Holy knights launched a general offense against them." Noelle explained, staring right at Staria and Secre.
"…what about those rumors saying how the Seven Deadly Sins are all dead already?" Staria asked, causing Secre to gain a confuse expression on her face, something that Noelle didn't notice.
"There's no way that such amazing people would die so easily!" Noelle exclaimed, making Staria surprise slightly.
"But they're villains that attempted to overthrow the Kingdom ten years, right?" Staria pointed out, making Noelle close her eyes for a few seconds before reopening them.
"Its the Holy knights that are making people suffer right now!" Noelle shouted, sounding desperate.
Staria and Secre glanced at each other before looking back at Noelle.
However, before the two could say anything, a large rumbling sound is felt.
"Huh? What's the rumbli-!" Noelle began to ask but stop when the ground underneath them, including a large chunk of the surrounding area slid off the hill. "AHHHH!" Noelle shouted as the three of them fell.
"Whoops. I had forgotten to confirm if they were the people in the report." A large man wearing armor commented as he sheathed his sword whilst looking over the cliff.
"Confirmed. Three unknown people dead. Is that all right?" The large man asked, turning his attention towards the four remaining knights.
"B….But Alioni was underneath that cliff…" One of the knights pointed out in a slight nervous tone of voice.
"Then we can say there were four people dead." The large man said in a uncaring tone of voice.
"B-but, Lord Twingo. That's horrible!" Another knight said in a horrified tone of voice.
"Then…..is it eight dead?" The now known Twingo asked, eyes narrowing, making the other knights scared.
However, it was then that the sound of footsteps can be heard, causing Twingo and the four knights to turn towards the direction of the sound to see Staria carrying Noelle whilst Secre has Alioni.
"What are all doing alive!? don't change my confirmed death toll!" Twingo exclaimed whilst Secre dumped Alioni onto the ground.
"Hey. Your awake?" Staria asked Noelle in a low tone of voice.
"Yes…I am." Noelle replied whilst feeling relieved that they are still alive.
"When I give the signal, run to the forest. Secre, keep close to Noelle." Staria explained in a low tone of voice, making Noelle widened her eyes whilst Secre nodded her head.
"Well, no matter. Which one of you are the Seven Deadly Sins? Neither of you three don't resemble any of the wanted posters…..!" Twingo said before his eyes widened.
"Hah! It looks like that I'm in luck! I thought that the purple cross ear-pierces sound familiar in the reports. Confirmed! Princess Noelle!" Twingo said, causing Noelle to flinch.
"As in the third princess of the Liones royal family?!" Secre stated, her eyes widening.
"There's a search order for you throughout the kingdom. The orders are to capture you alive…..but it can't be help if you die in an accident, can it?" Twingo explained, making Staria's eyes widened.
"Go!" Staria exclaimed, causing both Noelle and Secre to start running with the ash-white hair boy running close behind them.
"There's no way that I can get capture here! I won't give up!" Noelle exclaimed as she and the other two entered the trees.
"Confirmed! Accidental death!" Twingo's voice bellowed throughout the air as he slashed the air with his sword, sending out a magical wave of energy towards the three runners.
"Get down!" Staria said before pushing Noelle and Secre down onto the ground, letting the wave of energy pass them.
The entire forest was cut down by the wave attack.
"So, what will be the circumstance of your death will be? Crushed by a falling tree? Or blood lost from the cut from a whirlwind?" Twingo asked himself as he began to walk.
"Erh. That guy has a few screws loose." Secre stated as she lifted herself off the ground slightly.
"Are you okay, Noelle?" Staria asked, leaning over Noelle to protect her.
"This is no way to treat royalty." Noelle responded as she rolled onto her front, staring right into Staria's face.
"Don't get too close to me either!" Noelle shouted, shoving Staria away from her.
"Now isn't the time to act high and mighty." Secre pointed out as Noelle got herself off the ground.
"Noelle! You need to get out off her, now!" Staria said as he kept on the approaching figure of Twingo.
"…I won't be able to get away." Noelle said as she start towards Twingo.
"H-hey. Didn't you say that you won't give up?" Secre asked, becoming surprise at Noelle's decision.
"T-there's no way I can escape from a Holy knight now. If I give myself up. Then your lives will be spared." Noelle explained just as Twingo spotted Noelle and swing his sword, sending a wave of magical energy towards the princess.
Noelle closed her eyes, preparing for death.
However, Staria dived towards Noelle, saving her from the attack, but the attack did rip Staria's left sleeve slightly.
"W-why?! I'm royalty. It's my duty to protect the people of the Kingdom of Liones, not the other way around." Noelle explained, whilst Staria glance over his shoulder.
"Well, I think that guy is going to kill all three us anyway." Staria said, frowning at Twingo who very close to them.
"W-what I'm I doing?" Noelle asked herself just as tears started to appear in her eyes.
"I was alone in my search for the Seven Deadly Sins. Wearing armor to hide my identity, armor that I wasn't use to. Wondering for days until the point of exhaustion. But….I wasn't able to rely on anyway. But you and Secre were kind to me, someone who you two didn't know." Noelle said through tears.
Staria stared at Noelle for a few seconds before starting to smile slightly.
"Noelle. There's something I need to confess." Staria said, causing Noelle to become confuse.
"The name "Staria" isn't my actual name. I used that name when I started running the Bird's nest." "Staria" said, making Noelle's eyes widened slightly.
"Then what's your real name?" Noelle asked, making "Staria's" smile widened.
However, before "Staria" can say anything else, a shadow appeared above the two of them and Twingo launched a magical attack at them.
"Staria! Noelle!" Secre cried in alarm, her eyes widened in shock.
However, a shock-wave was felt, causing Twingo to stumble backwards.
"Huh? What?!" Twingo thought in shock just as the dust disappeared, revealing that Noelle and "Staria" still alive and the ash-white hair boy on his feet with his broken sword unsheathed.
"W-what's this? My sword should have finished you. But the one who took the blow…..was me!?" Twingo exclaimed in his head as he felt a cut on his cheek.
Twingo then notice the weapon in "Staria's" hands.
"A sword with a broken blade? Do you think that you can win with some trash!?" Twingo exclaimed in anger.
"Hmp. It will be enough to take you down." "Straia" replied calmly.
"Huh?! who the heck are you, Boy?!" Twingo demanded, becoming shock than angry.
"Heh. I think this will answer your answer." "Staria" said before ripping the remaining left sleeve away.
"Is that a tattoo?" Noelle asked as she spotted a red tattoo on "Staria's" shoulder.
"A circle….No, a dragon." Noelle thought, seeing how the tattoo is in the shape of dragon eating it's tail.
The gears in Noelle's head started to turn after a few seconds, her eyes widened.
"But how!? You look so young!?" Noelle exclaimed in shock.
"Huh? Why is the princess so shock? It just some tattoo." Twingo thought in a uninterested "tone" of "voice" as he stared at the ash-white hair boy.
However, his eyes widened in shock as well.
"Y-your face, I seen it before. B-but you don't look different from before!" Twingo said, a sweat-drop dripping down his face.
"Heh. It looks like that the two of you have figured it out. I'm Asta, the Dragon-sin of wrath and the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins." The now revealed Asta introduce himself.
"GHAAAAAAA!" Twingo shouted before swinging his sword at Asta, covering it with magic.
Asta swing his broken sword in response.
Twingo suddenly felt a large amount of magic directed at him, sending him flying into the sky.
"Sir Twingo!" The group of knights shouted before the five of them ran in the direction that Twingo was sent flying.
"Is that….the power of a Seven Deadly Sin?" Noelle thought in awe as Asta sheathed his broken sword before turning around and smile at Noelle.
"Well. It looks like you found one Deadly Sin." Asta said, causing Noelle to be brought out of her thoughts.
"Y-yes, I have. So…are you going to help me stop the Holy knights?" Noelle asked, suddenly becoming nervous.
"I will join you, Noelle. In fact, I'm actually looking for my comrades as well. I started running a bar with Secre in order to collect information about their whereabouts." Asta explained, causing Noelle to smile before turning her head towards Secre.
"Are you happy with this?" Noelle asked, making Secre nod her head slightly.
"I need to keep an eye of Asta after all. So I might as well." Secre responded, making Noelle raise an eyebrow whilst looking back at Asta.
"Its not important." Asta said with a nervous smile on his face.
Noelle began to stare at Asta, making the ash-white hair boy more nervous.
"We should get going, unless we get more Holy knights swarming the area." Secre pointed out, making the other two to nod their heads.
"So…..how exactly are we traveling with your bar?" Noelle asked as she, Asta and Secre returned to the Bird's Nest.
"Heh. You see." Asta said before whistling loudly, making the princess jump in surprise.
"W-what was that for?!" Noelle demanded, glaring at Asta.
However, before the ash-white hair boy can give a response, the ground started to shake, causing Noelle to become nervous, fearing that the three of them are getting attack again.
The ground underneath the Bird's Nest burst upwards, causing dust to raise into the air.
When the dust disappeared, Noelle's eyes widened in shock as she stare at a giant bird with black feathers, a white underbelly, a red face and black eyes.
The bird also gives off a mean looking expression on its face whilst the Bird's Nest is safely strap to the bird's back.
"This is Nero. This is how we travel around the kingdom." Secre explained to Noelle.
"Sorry about Nero's expression, it just his usual face…..?" Asta explained before noticing the expression on Noelle's face.
"He's so cute with that mean looking expression on his face!" Noelle exclaimed with a happy expression on her face.
".…She has weird tastes." Secre whispered to Asta, making the ash-white hair boy nod his head slightly.
"Anyway! Let set off. We have a long journey ahead of us." Asta said, causing both Noelle and Secre to nod their heads before approaching Nero to start their journey.
And there we have it. Like I said at the start, this is just an idea, so I'm not making this an entire story, mainly because I'm starting a new story next year. But anyone is free to write their own story. That being said, I do have some ideas about which characters from Black Clover would fit into the Seven Deadly Sins.
Wrath=Asta (The name "Staria" is canon Asta's real surname that was used in the Black Clover one-shot)
Envy=Charmy in her transformed state when using Food magic (A ironic twist from her status as a human/dwarf hybrid)
Greed=Mars
Sloth=Rill
Lust=Lolopechka (Since she's is known as the "All knowing priestess"...mainly due to her use of Invasion in this version)
Gluttony=Dorothy
Pride=Mereoleona (It will be funny to see her ooc version whilst in night form)
Elizabeth=Noelle (I changed her hair style slightly because Elizabeth all ready awakened a part of her Goddess powers before the start of the story, that's why she let her hair cover her right eye)
