Dorm Life Part 5: Halloween in the Dorms!
It was a chilly October 30th morning
In the Dorm Lounge
Everyone was in the lounge talking amongst themselves during breakfast
"Everyone! I have an announcement" Said Iida
"What's up Iida?" Said Midoriya
"According to our teachers and staff, "All of class 1A and 1B Dorms are going to make their dorms Halloween themed and visit each others dorms" Said Iida
The whole class sat silent for a moment
"THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME" "WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO" WHAT SHOULD OUR HALLOWEEN THEME BE"
The whole class had erupted in joy
"Everyone! Calm down!"
"We have an entire day to make our dorm and dorm rooms look Halloween themed" Said Iida
"Now! I recommend all of you go and get yourselves a costume and set up your rooms for Class 1B to see" Said Iida
"Wait so they are coming here... WHAT" Said the entire class
With the entire class realizing what Iida just said, the Halloween themed Dormitories went from a fun idea to a total competition
"We're gonna do better than class 1B guys come on!" Yelled Kirishima
"Yeah!" The whole class said at once
And with that, Class 1A got to work creating different room designs and setting up their room for Halloween night
"Hey Midoriya, what are you going to do with your room" Said Kirishima
"Oh hi Kirishima, yeah I was gonna make all my All Might statues into scary zombies and I was gonna hang cobwebs from the ceiling and maybe I can get Yaoyorozu to make me a smoke machine" Said Midoriya
"Wow that sounds awesome, I was going to make my room a test of courage man. You should come check it out, it's gonna be awesome" Said Kirishima
"I will, I'll see you soon" Said Midoriya
"I wanna go see what Uraraka is doing for her room" Midoriya thought to himself
Midoriya made his way to Uraraka's room
"Oh hey Deku, you startled me. Have you thought of what you were going to do to your room" Said Uraraka
"Ha, y-yeah I have, I'm gonna zombify my All-Might statues, what are you going to do to your room" Said Midoriya
"Want to come in and look?" Said Uraraka
"Yeah that sounds awesome" Said Midoriya
The two walked in to see a dimly lit room with eerie music and items floating around the room
"Woah Uraraka, how are they floating... I didn't even see you touch them" Said Midoriya
"I'm practicing making them float for a while so that if people leave and more people come they will see it haha"
"Oh yeah and come look at this, I bought a smoke machine for the floor to be scaaary haha" Said Uraraka
The two started to walk to the other side of the room but as Uraraka turned around, Midoriya tripped on a loose wire.
They both fell onto Uraraka's bed, face to face they stared directly into each others eyes. The tension and embarrassment started to build quick.
Midoriya quickly stood up and turned around as Uraraka did the same.
"Uh- um- sorry about that, I'm gonna go and check out some other rooms... I'll see you later Uraraka" Said Midoriya
Midoriya quickly left but only to leave Uraraka in her thoughts
"My chest...No...My heart" She thought to herself
The Next Day in the Dorm Lounge
"Alright everyone!"
"Today we are going to go to Class 1B's Dormitories then they are going to come to ours" Said Iida
"Pfffff Nice costume Iida HAHAHAHA" Said Uraraka
Iida was wearing an Inflatable Sumo Wrestler Costume
"I thought it was cool..." Iida thought to himself
Class 1A walked to class 1B's Dorm
"You know... I think this is the first time I've ever looked at a dorm other than ours" Said Kaminari
"I wonder if they are any different" Said Midoriya
When they arrived at the front door they were greeted by a familiar face
"Class 1A! Are you losers prepared to see rooms that are better than yours-"
Itsuka Kendo Had Knocked out Monoma
"Hey Class 1A, Happy Halloween, You guys ready to have fun!" Said Itsuka
"YEAH!" Said Class 1A
Everyone was walking around looking at all of the cool rooms. Midoriya had been walking around to find Uraraka staring into the dining/kitchen section of the dorm
"H-Hey Uraraka what are you doing" Said Midoriya
"Oh hey Deku, I want to go into this Haunted House section but I'm too scared haha" Said Uraraka
"Well... I can come with you if you want" Said Midoriya
"Yeah... I'd like that" Said Uraraka
The second the two had walked into the Haunted house, a loud scream came from above them
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" Screamed Uraraka
Among the horror, Uraraka had grabbed onto Midoriya's arm
"Do... you mind if I just hold you like this?" Said Uraraka
"U- Uh um No... I don't mind" Said Midoriya
Midoriya's heart was about to burst out of his chest
The two had gone through the haunted house with their eyes closed
"That was really scared huh Uraraka" Said Midoriya
...
"Uraraka we are out of the haunted house" Said Midoriya
She opened her eyes immediately
"Oh... haha, didn't even notice... wanna come with me to see the other rooms?" Said Uraraka
"Yeah that sounds like fun!" Said Midoriya
The two had walked through all floors of the Dormitory
"Oh man I am tired, are you ready to go back to our dorm?" Said Midoriya
She tiredly nodded
While the two were walking down the steps to go back, Uraraka started swaying from being tired.
"Oh wow Uraraka you must be really tired... Oh I know... It's from her making those items float for such a long time back at the dorm" Midoriya thought to himself
Midoriya had picked up Uraraka like a baby
"Woah Deku what are you doing?" Said Uraraka
"Well I can tell you're tired, at least let me carry you back to the dorm to save your strength... remember, you still have to show off your room in about an hour" Said Midoriya
"Okay Deku *Yawns* I'll...just rest... here-" Uraraka whispered
Her head slumped into Midoriya's chest. Midoriya had carried her all the way back to her room but stopped at the door way
"There's no way she'll get any sleep in her room with people coming in..." He thought to himself
Midoriya had taken the sign that said his room was open off his door. He set Uraraka into his bed and shut the door on his way out.
"I hope she won't be too upset that she missed her chance to show off her room... How about I take her place and do it for her..." Said Midoriya
He had set up a chair next to her room to show class 1B her room. He had left a sign on his door saying that his room was not open for viewing.
2 Hours later
"Well that went great... I can't wait to tell Uraraka" He thought to himself
Midoriya started walking back to his room. Apon arriving back at his room he had slowly opened the door to see a sleeping Uraraka in his bed.
"Oh I can't wake her up now... might as well just sleep on the couch for tonight" He thought to himself
Midoriya had sat down with some of his class mates on the couch
"Man that was fun watching Monamo scream when I scared him" Said Kirishima
"I wish I could have seen the look on his face" Said Yaoyorozu
"So Kirishima how did the test of courage go?" Said Midoriya
"Oh it went awesome" I even had set up a table for me and Tetsutetsu to do an arm wrestle, it was awesome!" Said Kirishima
"That sounded like it was fun" "I'm glad everyone had fun"
"Hey Yaoyorozu, I hope it's not too much to ask but could you make a blanket and a pillow for me?" Said Midoriya
"Yeah sure but why?" Said Yaoyorozu
"Oh my room is just too crowded to move everything back tonight and I'm too tired so I think I'm just gonna sleep on the couch for tonight haha" Said Midoriya nervously
"Okay, well I'll make an extra warm blanket for you buddy because it gets kind of cold down here at night" Said Yaoyorozu
"Thanks Yaoyorozu that means alot" Said Midoriya
"Okay I think I'm gonna hit the sack" Said Kirishima
"I think I shall too retire for the night" Said Yaoyorozu
"Goodnight you two" Said Midoriya
"Goodnight" They both said at once
The Next Morning
Midoriya had woken up on the couch in the Lounge
"Oh jeez what time is it... why am I on the cou-"
"I forgot about Uraraka" Midoriya thought to himself
He rushed to his room to quickly open the door, enter the room, and shut the door behind him. The sound of the door shutting had woken up Uraraka
"oh hey deku... goodmorning..." She whispered
"Oh hey... Uraraka... I-I didn't think you'd want people to walk in on you sleeping s-so I let you sleep in here" Said Midoriya
"Oh thats okay"
"Deku come here and kneel down next to the bed" Said Uraraka
"...Uh okay?" Said Midoriya
When he kneeled next to the bed, a flustered and blushing Uraraka leaned over and hugged Deku tight
"Thanks for always being there for me... I'm so happy to have someone like you in my life Deku..." Said Uraraka
"And I'm glad to have someone like you Uraraka" Said Midoriya
