The year was 2010. Randy Orton was in the airport. He was waiting for his flight to be called. He was in an airport cafe, when he saw a beautiful woman sit down at a table ten feet away. She was short with fair skin. She was twenty-two and had long light brown hair and light brown eyes. Randy knew he had to meet her. He went over to her.

"Hi." He said. "I'm Randy Orton."

"Hi." "I'm Mandy Sterling."

Randy could tell her voice sounded different from other people. "Do you mind if I sit down?"

"Not at all." He sat down.

"So where are you headed?"

"Home to Georgia."

"Are you coming back from vacation?"

"No." "I was at a convention teaching children sign language." "I'm deaf."

"If you don't mind me asking, how can you understand me?"

"I can read lips but it's easier for me to communicate through sign language "

"What do you do for a living?"

"I'm an english teacher at Warren School For The Deaf." "What do you do?"

"I'm a professional wrestler."

"Cool."

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"No."

"Would you like to go out sometime, next time I'm in Georgia?"

"Sure." They exchanged numbers. "I have to go." "My flight should be in anytime now."

"Ok." "I'm glad we met."

"Me to." She stood up. "Bye."

"Bye." She walked away. He smiled.

Two days later Mandy was in the teachers lounge on her lunch break. She and Randy were texting each other.

How's your day going? - Randy

Good. - Mandy

This is your lunch break right? - Randy

Yes. - Mandy

I've been thinking about you all day. - Randy.

She smiled. Her friend Jennifer, who was also deaf, sat down acrossed from her.

Who is he? Jennifer signed.

Who? Mandy signed back.

That smile is because of a man.

His name is Randy Orton.

Randy Orton, the wrestler?

Yeah.

Wait a minute, he's a hearing man.

So?

You said you would never date a hearing man.

Yeah but he's cute and he seems really nice.

Later that night Randy was at the arena in Maryland. He was in catering looking at his phone.

"Hey man, what's up?" John Cena said coming up to him.

"I'm learning sign language."

"For what?"

"I met a woman the other day and she's deaf." "She can talk and read lips but she said it's easier for her through sign language."

"What's her name?"

"Mandy."

"Is she pretty?"

"She's beautiful." "I really like her."
