Enerjak Reborn Saga Episode 6: Bonds of Chaos Bonds of Friendship
In the ruins of Albion, the Echidnas notice something in the night sky.
Lara-Le asks, "Enerjak?!"
"Has to be," Remington says.
In New Mobotropolis, everyone notices something happening at the island above them.
Vector nervously asks, "Please tell me Nicole got the force-field back up."
"She did," Tails says.
"I'm worried about Eve. Sonic, Shadow, Maria, and the others," Saffron says, concerned.
"Me too," Charmy sadly says.
On Angel Island, Nic, and the others join up with Sally and her group. Suddenly, the mysterious bright glow begins to surround the area. Everyone has to shield their eyes from the blinding light.
Julie-Su screams, "Knuckles!"
A beam of light blows out above and under the island. Soon enough, Sonic and Shadow have gained their super forms and fly out to battle Enerjak.
Enerjak who isn't pleased, angrily says, "You dare to use my power against me?!"
"You better believe it!" Sonic says.
Shadow then "Then let's finish it."
"Right," Sonic says.
Sonic then speeds to Enerjak and gives him a hard hick on the head. Shadow then spin dashes it.
Sonic gives Enerjak a hard rub on the head, "C'mon, Knuckles! Why turn into 'Enerjak?' What about Hyper Knuckles?' or are you afraid of being pink?"
Shadow then punches Enerjak in the face as Sonic takes the staff Enerjak is holding and breaks it.
"And what's with the staff? Weapons aren't your thing, man. Where's the raw power of old?"
Enerjak shouts in rage, "Here!" Then places Sonic and Shadow.
So far, there is no effect.
"Better. But I'm invulnerable, Chuckles. How about you tried and true punches?" Sonic remarks.
Shadow rolls his eyes, "Let's talk more fighting."
Shadow then flies to Enerjak and Enerjak charges with his fist.
Down at the cavern where the device once stands, Sally and the others are shocked to see what is happening.
"Whoa! I can't believe they survive that!" Julie-Su exclaims.
"Yes, but they won't forever. We need to find a way to break the hex from the Master Emerald," Locke says.
"But how? You said that Finitevus locked all of your access to the Master Emerald, so you can't use it," Sally asks.
"But we have to try. Sonic and Shadow might not last long," Fiona adds.
"I… I… find out," A struggling voice says.
The group turns their heads to see Eve is able to stand, but is still in some kind of pain.
"Eve, you can't do it under your condition," Nic says.
"She's right. It will be too dangerous," Sally says.
"But I have to do something. I don't know, but I have to do something to help them," Eve says, in pain.
Eve then hurries off as Maria calls out, "Eve, wait!"
Sadly, Eve is already gone.
"Come on, we need to get to the altar and stop this," Athair says.
"Right," The Freedom Fighters reply.
The group then hurries through the forest to get to the altar.
Meanwhile, Scourge and the Destructix are watching Sonic and Shadow fighting against Enerjak, they are stunned to see the battle before their eyes.
Simian turns to Sleuth and asks, "What now, Sleuth?"
"Dr. Finitevus only paid us to keep watch over the weapon," Sleuth says, bringing out a Warp Ring.
He tosses it on the ground and it creates a large portal.
Then says, "We're done here, Destructix, fall back."
Taking his orders, the Destructix and Sleuth go through the Warp Ring. Once all of them are through, the Warp Ring closes behind them. Scourge is the only one remaining, he smirks and brings out the Warp Ring.
"It's a good thing I supercharge my Warp Ring to take us to where I can go. With how Sonic and Shadow fight this world, they might end up tearing this place apart. This might be what he planned," Scourge says.
He then with a snap of his fingers, Scourge tosses the ring and it opens. Then he walks through it and it closes behind him. Meanwhile, Sonic and Shadow continue to fight against Enerjak. Enrrjak tries to attack him with a pounce, but Sonic dodges and snatches away his helmet.
"There! Now you look more like Knuckles! Do you feel more like Knuckles!" Sonic remarks and tosses the helmet away.
"If I can't destroy you, I'll simply send you two away," Enerjak says, using his powers to make Sonic and Shadow vanish.
Soon, Sonic and Shadow find themselves somewhere isolated.
"He tries to stop a burrowing species by burying them? At least he's as clever as ever," Sonic says with a smirk.
Shadow and Sonic then spin dashes and burrows out of the earth and spin dashes Knuckles.
Shadow smirks, "Not a smart move."
Enerjack makes his hands glow and shouts, "Thunder Arrow!"
Then the power zaps Sonic and Shadow.
"Aside from annoying, your magic does diddy! What part of 'invulnerable' don't you get?" Sonic remarks.
"Would you prefer if I were Crunch Time!" Enerjak angrily says, then punches Sonic in the stomach.
Sonic kicks him down and shouts, "Yeah! That's more like it!"
"Nothing we do seems to have much effect on him," Shadow says.
"Yea. I don't get it. Our positive aura should have broken the dark magic by now. I can see some progress, but it's not enough," Sonic says.
"We have to do something quick. Our Super Forms won't last for very long," Shadow says.
"Right," Sonic says.
Meanwhile, Sally and the others follow Locke and the other two Guardians to where the Master Emerald Altar is. When they arrive, the altar is like it's separated on a small island from the blast.
Julie-Su notices, "This is getting out of hand! We've got to find a way to stop them."
"And I don't see Eve anywhere," Maria says, worried.
Fiona notices, "There's someone next to the emerald."
"And I know who it is," Julie-Su angrily says.
Archimedes uses his abilities to teleport them all on the island of the Master Emerald and see the being at the altar is the Mastermind behind all of it.
"Finitevus! You're the cause of all of this! You warped Knuckles mind! You made him lose control! Set him right, or I'll…" Julie-Su says in anger and about to walk up.
Nic and Fiona grab her by her arms to prevent her from moving.
"Calm down Su," Fiona says.
"Yeah. No need to get your dreads in a knot," Nic says.
"I don't care. He better set him right, or I'll…" Julie-Su angrily says.
Finitevus turns his head and says, "You are in no position to do anything, girl. Besides, I couldn't stop this now if I wanted to."
"What does that mean?" Sally demands.
"Simple princess. The hex I placed upon the Master Emerald binds it to my will. The minute Knuckles tapped into its power, his intentions became bent to my will. And soon Eve will be as well," Finitevus says.
Then notice, "I admit, I'm surprised that Sonic and Shadow could use its power without any effect. I would love to dissect them to find out why, but their fight with Enerjak will suit my grand design well enough."
"We don't care about your stupid plan!" Nic angrily says.
"You're the one who made the hex! Now break it!" Julie-Su angrily says.
"Y-yes. You do it right now," Maria says.
"I already said I couldn't if I wanted to. I expected a plucky resistance to 'save' your beloved Knuckles. So I 'locked' the hex," Finitevus says.
"Locked it? What in tarnation are you blathering about? Nic questions, holding out her blaster.
Finitevus smirks and says, "Like I said, I 'locked' the hex, and to break the hex and my control, someone must sacrifice their own life!"
The group becomes stunned to hear the white echidna's statement.
"Sacrifice their life?!" Fiona says, shocked.
"That can't be true," Maria asks, worried.
"I'm afraid it possibly is," Moritori says.
Locke then steps forward.
"Locke? What are you doing?" Nic asks.
"What I need to do. I need to save my son. I did I'll I could to protect him from a future terror. I never wanted to be that terror. I only wanted to keep him safe." Locke says.
"But you can't," Sally says.
"He's right. There has to be another way," Maria says.
Jazz worriedly says, "Chaos."
Before Locke can do anything, Finitevus ends up kicking in the face.
"Hey!" Fiona angrily says.
She and Nic charge at Finitevus but he attacks them back, "I won't have that grave-eager fool stopping me now!"
Moritori and Athair begin to attack them, but Finitevus uses his dark energy to zap them at the wall of the altar.
"A world this corrupt must be cleansed by fire! By fire!" Finitevus angrily says.
He turns around to see Nic and Fiona are going to counter attack. Finitevus then uses a Warp Ring to warm them over Sally, Maria, and Jazz. Dropping both girls on them.
The white echidna then punches Julie-Su then grabs Lock by his dreadlock and kicks him on the side.
Then he turns to Locke, "Your son has the honor of being the starting ember!"
Then turns to the fallen fighters, "As for your friend. She will have the honor of being the blade that will destroy any who dares try to prevent the world's cleansing."
Lock struggles to get up, but Finitevus places his foot on the back of his head.
With a smirk, he says, "If you are so eager to die first, I'd be happy to oblige!"
Before he can finish the job, Archimede appears on the clip on his cloak.
With a smirk, Archimedes says, "G'day, Doctor! Fancy a trip?
"Wha-?" Before he can react, Archimedes uses his ability to teleport Finitevus into another location.
Everyone begins to regain their balance on their feed.
"Thank you, mentor," Locke says, standing on his feet.
"At least he's gone," Fiona says.
"But with all those Warp Rings, he won't be gone for long," Julie-Su says.
"I know," Locke says.
"But there has to be another way than someone dying for this," Sally says.
"But what else can we do?" Locke asks.
Meanwhile, Eve is able to reach the edge of the island to see Sonic and Shadow fighting against Enerjak.
"Sonic... Shadow… Knuckles… I need to help them, but what can I do? Not even Sonic and Shadow's super forms have any effect on them. I have to help Knuckles. I have to help my brother. I have to help everyone. But my body is still in too much pain from the hex, and I don't have enough power to stop it. What can I do? What can I do?" Eve says. She then shuts her eyes and tears begin to glow down her face.
Suddenly, Eve remembers one time when she along with Sonic and the others visit Angel Island. Knuckles and Locke are standing close to the Master Emerald while the rest of the Chaotix and the Freedom Fighters have fun. Locke can notice Knuckles having a smile on his face, and smiles too. He is glad that Knuckles is able to have good friends.
Locke turns to see Eve and thinks, "Eve. The wielder of the Master Emerald Sword. The Chaos Force is within you and you'll be able to use the Master Emerald's power because of your strong connection to your sword."
Eve opens her eyes with a gasp coming out of her mouth.

Another memory Eve has is when she is with Knuckles they look at Mystic Ruins. Eve asks him about the Master Emerald Sword and it's power, and also how she can possess it.
"It's hard to say, but I remember that you already have a strong Chaos Force and not just your family traits. Dad said that the more you use the sword, the more connected to the Chaos Force of the Master Emerald you have become. At least that's what my dad thinks," Knuckles says.

(There's a deep, yawning darkness)
"Really?" Eve asks.
"Yeah. And I'm starting to think so myself," Knuckles says.
Then sometime later in the flashback, Eve and Knuckles are sitting on the altar next to the Master Emerald.
Eve asks, "Knuckles, does it um, bother you that I'm actually Dimitri's descendant. I mean, given to what happened in our family history."
"Well, I have to admit, I was a bit surprised… more like shocked to find out you're part of Dimitri's bloodline, even though you're created. But…" Knuckles says.
"But what?" Eve asks.
"I also remember that you're also part of my family's bloodline as well, and despite everything that happened in our family's histories, all the fighting, you and I were able to get along," Knuckles says.
"Most of the time," Eve says.
"Yeah," Knuckles says.
Then Knuckles says, "Eve… I know that things have been hard for you. Everything you've gone through. Other than Sally, and the guys, you're another Mobian I kind of allow to get close. And despite our family history, despite everything that has happened around us, I'm glad that I got to know you…. And I consider you part of my family."

Eve then opens her eyes to show their bright red color and she grits her teeth as she brings out her sword. Soon, Eve begins to glow gold along with her sword. She then jumps high into the air as the Thunder Arrows Control almost strikes at the boys.
She swings her sword and screams, "Chaos Sword…"

(There's a deep, yawning darkness)
"Control!" She then strikes at the Thunder Arrows.
Then then, Eve's outfit changes into an entirely new outfit. She is now wearing a black Japanese kimono with red markings, and red tie around her waist that are let loose from the knot at front, gold armor on her shoulder, chest, legs, and wears black tabi socks with a pair of zōri (Japanese sandals) that have red straps. What really catches their attention is that her Master Emerald Sword is letting out a golden flame.
Sonic and Shadow exclaims, "Eve?!"
Seeing this makes Enerjak furious.
He grits his teeth angrily and says, "Impossible!"
Then begins to send out more Thunder Arrows.

(A tender sound that makes you want to cry)
Eve uses her sword to cut them and destroy them in seconds. She then begins to fly towards Enerjak, and knows what she needs to do to save him.
Eve thinks, "This new power? Is it really Enerjak's power? I can feel the Master Emerald's power flowing into me. But… this power feels that it won't last."

"What that happens, I might have the strength to fight back and I'll revert back to normal," Eve thinks.

"That's why I need to keep going." Eve thinks.

(Keeping going ahead "Keeping going ahead")
"I have to save Knuckles! I have to save everyone!" Eve thinks.

(Cut away the despair)
Eve lets out a strong battle cry and flies to Enerjak as she destroys his Thunder Arrows.

Seeing Eve at close range, Enerjak is stunned and still furious, "That girl has my power?!"
Enerjak then begins to fly back to keep his distance away from Eve. Then uses his Thunder Arrows and any of his power at Eve.

(I have no choice but to keep living)
However, Eve uses her Master Emerald Sword, Chaos Spear, and her Spin Dashes to counter Enerjak. And is able to keep herself at a close range towards Enerjak.

(Even if I am beaten down)
Enerjak continues to hold an angry and annoyed expression to see Eve closing in on him.
"I need to get close to him to use this ability. I'll use Enerjak's power to save Knuckles," Eve says.
Then swings her sword to Knuckles.

(There are things to protect)
Then says in determination, "I'll use this power to save everyone!"
Flying from a far distance, Sonic and Shadow are stunned to see Eve has taken a new form, and has gained new attire in the process.
"It is Eve," Sonic says.
"But how?" Shadow asks.
"Because she is using Enerjak's power," A voice speaks.
The group turns their heads to see a red color echidna and is wearing a white dress.
"I have no time to explain. My name is Aurora. I came to tell you that your sister is able to counter the hex and use Enerjak's power without being corrupted. However, the power is temporary, and will lose that power. She needs your help, you're the only ones who can help her stop Enerjak. Good luck," Aurora says. Then vanishes
Sonic and Shadow turn to each other.
Sonic says, "I don't know, but I know that our sister needs us."
"Then let's help her," Shadow says.

With that, Sonic and Shadow fly to where the battle is. Eve continues to buy the Thunder Arrows, as she closes in on Knuckles.
Suddenly, a powerful spin dash strikes Enerjak, and the ball uncurls itself to reveal Sonic.

(I have no choice but to keep living)
Then Shadow swifts his arm and shouts, "Chaos Spear!"
The Chaos Spear flies to Enerjak who is off guard and they all strike at him. Enerjak feels the pain and looks ahead to see Eve flying to him.

(Even if I am beaten down)
She then shouts, "Chaos Control!"
Then punches him in the stomach, causing him to become paralyzed.
Enerjak thinks, "How… how she was able to…"

Mamoru mono ga aru
(There are things to protect)
"I swore to protect my friends! my family! and this planet! I won't let them be destroyed! NOT BY ANYONE" Eve shouts.
She then makes a bubble in her hand and shouts, "CHAOS BUBBLE!"
The Chaos Bubble is gold and green and flies through the air. In a matter of seconds, the bubble traps Enerjak/Knuckles inside and prevents him from moving at all.

Eve turns to Sonic and Shadow, "Sonic. Shadow. Watch Knuckles. There's still something I need to do.
"You got it, sis," Sonic says.

(I will be prepared for it)
Sonic and Shadow hurries to Knuckles while Eve flies down to the altar where the Master Emerald is. Eve soon lands next to the altar where the Master Emerald is, and where the Sally, Locke, and the others are as well.
Surprised, Maria softly asks, "Eve?"

Doro wo name agaitemo
(Even if I struggle and claw through the mud)
Eve doesn't answer.
Instead she turns to Locke, Athair, and Moritori and asks, "Locke, I'm going to need you, Athair, and Moritori to help me with something. I need your help to perform the rite while I use the Master Emerald Sword on the Master Emerald."

(There's a thin thread that can't be seen)
The three Guardians become a bit confused, but Eve explains, "Even though I have these powers, I need your help to increase this power. With the power of your Chaos Force and my sword, we can break the hex entirely and bring Knuckles back."

(and a tender sound that makes you want to cry)
"You think it will work?" Locke asks.
"We have to try. My Chaos Bubble won't last for very long and it's our only chance," Eve says.
"Then we must begin at once," Moritori says.
The four then hurry up the stairs of the altar and gather around the Master Emerald.

(No matter the frustration)
Locke, Athair, and Moritori stand around the Master Emerald while Eve stands on the emerald.

Eve looks around and asks, "Ready?"
The three guardians nod their heads.
Song:

(Keep facing forward)
"Then let's do it," Eve says, as she brings out the Master Emerald Sword.
The three guardians raise their hands in the air. Eve then lifts the sword with both hands on the handle.

(Cut away the despair)
Eve then stabs the Master Emerald with her sword. With that, the Master Emerald begins to glow as black electric force comes out as well.
Song:
Kizutsuite mo kizutsuite mo
(Even with all the pain, Even with all the pain)
Eve then holds the sword tight and calls out, "The Servers are the Seven Chaos… Chaos is power, enriched by the heart…"
Sonic and Shadow watch as Knuckles begins to slowly move and places his hand on his head. Soon, Knuckles begins to glow as Enerjak's outfit begins to disappear.

(I have no choice but to stand up again)
"The Server existed to unify the Chaos!" Eve chants.
Eve, Locke, Athair, and Moritori struggle to keep up with the Hex on the Master Emerald.

(Even if I am beaten down)
"Remove the Hex that has been placed on Master Emerald, and release those who are affected by it!" Eve calls out.
Then softly adds, "And bring back the friend that we all loved. The friend we all want to save."

Soon, Enerjak's body glows bright and the outfit disappears. Soon, Eve's outfit begins to disappear as well.

Eve soon begins to shed tears to feel the warm energy of the Master Emerald's true power as she passes out.
