A Very Morgan Christmas-Ch 1
Penelope was standing deep in thought, she was remembering everything that had happened over the past several weeks, she still couldn't believe that she, that her Penelope Grace Garcia was marrying THE Derek Morgan, her hotstuff, her chocolate adonis.
She was pulled from her thoughts as Dave waved his hand in front of her face, he said, "kitten are you alright, have you changed your mind"?, Penelope said, "huh, what, changed my mind about what"?, Dave laughed and said, "have you changed your mind about marrying Derek"?, Penelope giggled and said, "never papa bear, never".
Dave said, "well you were really quiet, is something wrong"?, she said, "nope, I was just thinking about how much my life, well our lives have changed since Thanksgiving, that's all". Dave grinned and said, "well everything has changed for the better, right"?, she nodded her head and said, "most definitely",
He then held out his arm and said, "are you ready"?, she grinned and said, "more than ready" as she looped her arm through his. The music changed to the wedding march and she blew out a deep breath before her and Dave stepped to the end of the aisle.
Her heart was racing even faster than before as she saw her handsome groom standing at the end of the aisle smiling at her. He looked so handsome, no scratch that, he looked sexyyyyyyy standing there in his tux smiling back at her.
As Derek watched his baby girl as she got closer and closer he felt like his heart was going to burst from his chest and fly away. He had never been this happy before, not ever and now that he had Penelope he was never ever letting her go.
He would spend the rest of his life doing whatever it took to keep her safe and happy, he would show her everyday just how much she meant to him and how much he loved her. Derek continued to watch Penelope and Dave until they stopped in front of him.
Dave kissed her on the cheek and then put her hand in Dereks and walked over and stood beside Fran and the others. The minister smiled as he looked at the very nervous couple, he then looked at the family and said, "you may be seated".
He then looked down at the couple standing in front of him and said, "dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in front of God and these witnesses to join together in the bonds of holy matrimony Derek Michael Morgan and Penelope Grace Garcia".
Derek gently squeezed Penelopes hand as the minister said, "who gives this woman to this man"?, Dave stood up and said, "I do" and then sat back down beside Fran. He then looked at JJ and Reid and asked for the rings.
After the rings were put on the bible in his hands he said another prayer and then looked at Derek and said, "Derek take this ring and put it on Penelopes finger and the repeat after me". Derek took the ring into his hand and slid it onto her finger and then readied to recite his vows.
The minister said, "I Derek take you Penelope to be my lawfully wedded wife", Derek said, "I Derek take you Penelope to be my lawfully wedded wife". Next he heard, "I promise to love, honor and cherish you all of the days of my life", Derek smiled and said, "I promise to love, honor and cherish you all of the days of my life".
The minister then turned to Penelope and said, "Penelope take this ring and put it on Dereks finger and then recite your vows to him". She took the ring nervously into her hand and slid the ring onto his fingers and took a deep breath as she readied to repeat after him.
She heard, "I Penelope take you Derek to be my lawfully wedded husband", she said, "I Penelope take you Derek to be my lawfully wedded husband". Next she heard, :"I promise to love, honor and cherish you all of the days of my life", she smiled and as the tears streamed down her cheeks she said, "I promise to love, honor and cherish you all of the days of my life",
The minister looked over the crowd and said, "if their is anyone here that can show just cause why these two can't be lawfully joined, let them speak now or forever hold their peace". After a few seconds he said, "by the powers vested in me by this state I now pronounce you husband and wife".
He grinned and said, "Derek you can kiss your bride", he cupped her face in his hands and leaned in and pressed his lips against hers in a passionate kiss.
