A Very Morgan Christmas-Ch 2
The newlyweds pulled apart to the sounds of the big clock in the center of town ringing letting them know that it was midnight and that meant that it was Christmas morning. They couldn't help but smile as the sounds of hands clapping and their family shouting their congratulations to the happy couple filled the air.
It was then that the minister grinned and said, "it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Derek Morgan". Derek grinned happily and leaned in and said, "I love you Mrs. Morgan, I love you so much".
Penelope said, "and I love you Mr. Morgan" as his lips descended on hers in a soft, gentle kiss, they pulled apart and Fran said, "MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY". Derek, Penelope and the rest of the family in unison said, "MERRY CHRISTMAS".
Dave looked over at the minister and said, "would you please join us, we have a small reception planned for the newlyweds, it's not much, we're having some sandwiches, drinks and a small cake"?, the minister said, "I would really like to but I'm afraid that I have another wedding to officiate but I want to wish you two only the best".
Derek and Penelope grinned and said, "thank you" as they watched the minister turn around and head back up the path that led to the house. Fran said, "alright then let's get this reception started", JJ looked at a very tired Henry and Jack and said, "how about you two eat and then head to bed because Santa Clause will be coming soon".
The two boys nodded their heads yes in agreement as they followed their parents and the newlyweds over to the reception area. Derek smiled and pulled his new bride into his arms and said, "I still can't believe this is real, I can't believe that we're married, finally married".
She laughed as she wrapped her arms around his waist and said, "believe it angel fish because you're stuck with this oracle for the rest of your life". Derek said, "ohhhh I'm afraid that it's you that's stuck with me baby girl".
Fran said, "we're going to go ahead and let the boys eat, so why don't you two have your first dance", Derek said, "would you like to dance"?., Penelope said, "I'll dance forever as long as it's with you". Derek kissed her lips gently and wrapped his arms around her waist as the words to I'll always love you filled the air.
Everybody minus the two boys watched as the happy couple danced their way across the dance area, Fran sighed happily and said, "it's about time". Sarah leaned in and said, "now maybe you can finally get those grandbabies he's been promising you".
Desi said, "don't get her worked up sis", Dave said, "I agree with your sister Sarah, let's give Derek and Penelope some time before throwing them into the world of being parents, I'm sure they will want some time alone first".
Fran grinned and said, "I know I'll get my grandbabies and knowing that I can be patient", JJ smiled as Reid wrapped his arms around her and said, "they look so happy don't they"?, JJ said, "they do and it's about time don't you think"?, Emily and Hotch said, "definitley" and laughed as t hey joined the newlyweds on the dance floor.
It was only a matter of a few seconds before Dave, Fran, JJ and Reid joined them as the reception continued
