A Very Morgan Christmas-Ch 3
As the reception continued the family laughed, ate and danced for a little while before Fran announced that it was time to cut the cake. Derek and Penelope made their way toward their 3 tier cake that Fran had prepared for their special day.
Penelope said, "oh Fran it's beautiful, thank you so much", Fran smiled at the couple and said, "you are very welcome, I'm glad that you both like it". Derek said, "like it, momma we love it", Dave wrapped his arms around Frans waist and said, "they're right Bella, it's beautiful, you outdid yourself with this masterpiece".
Fran smiled and watched as Derek and Penelope put their hands on the knife and slowly slid it down through the layer of cake. As the piece of cake was removed Derek and Penelope took a bite and lovingly slid the bite into the others mouth before kissing,
Reid said, "ewwwwww gross", Derek laughed and said, "don't knock it till you've tried it pretty boy", JJ laughed and leaned in and whispered something into Reid ear causing him to blush. Penelope said, "ohhhh I'd love to know what she said to him".
Derek laughed and said, "me too, it must have been good to get him to turn that pretty shade of red". Reid looked at the older man and said, "Morgan bite me". Derek laughed and said, "meowwww". Everybody laughed and then watched as the happy couple then fed each other the rest of the piece of cake and while the others enjoyed their cake the newlyweds shared a couple of dances.
As long as they were wrapped in each others arms everything felt perfect, Penelope sighed happily as she laid her head down on Dereks chest. Being with him felt heavenly, like she was born for him and he was born for her.
The celebrating went on for a few minutes longer before Derek said, "well guys we're heading back to our place for the night but we'll be back in the morning". Emily said, "yeah the boys will get us up early", JJ laughed and said, "and Penelopes going to be getting her boy up too" causing everybody to laugh and for Penelope to blush.
The family smiled and waved at the couple as they said their goodbyes, after getting and giving their hugs to their family Derek intertwined fingers with Penelope and led her toward their car. As she got in and buckled her seatbelt she couldn't help but smile.
She smiled because she was now Mrs. Derek Morgan, she smiled because she would for the rest of her life be with the love of her life, her hotstuff, her adonis, her Derek.
