Hi there folks, ETH here to say MERRY CHRISTMAS! In honor of the season I'm doing a fanfic on my favorite christmas special the 1990s movie "The Nutcracker Prince" it's on youtube for free and I highly recommend you watch it if you haven't seen it, anyway it kind of had a quick ending so I'm here to show more insight on it because I feel like it's needed in some ways but other than that it's a great christmas movie even though it wasn't very popular I think a lot of people would enjoy it if they took the time to watch it. But anyway let's get to it!
1990s The Nutcracker Prince: The Missing Ending
By: AuthurETH
"CLARA!" Hans shouted as he sprang up from bed... Wait bed? Wasn't he in the castle in the land of the dolls and he… he was human again! He was no longer a nutcracker. "What- where- how-?" Hans started looking at his hands, but was cut off by a kind familiar voice.
"Hans my boy it's good to see you"
"Uncle Drosselmeyer! How did I get here? Where am I? What happened to Clara?!" Hans asked frantically.
"Hans calm down, please" Drosselmeyer said gently, sitting beside the boy. "I'm guessing it was quite a troubling night for you"
His words made Han's eyes grow wide in shock. "Was it… all a dream…? Was Clara just a dream…?" he asked in disbelief.
"Hm, Clara you say? Not to worry she'll be here soon most likely my boy" said Drosslemeyer as he got up from the bed.
"Wait, uncle Drosselmeyer what do you mean?!" asked Hans, whose head was dizzy with questions.
"Oh Hans will you get dressed and bring this clock downstairs?" Drosselmeyer requested pointing to a large clock on a table by the door as he left the bedroom.
As Hans got dressed all he could think about were the friends he had made or at least the friends he 'dreamt' he had made… Pantaloon…. Trudy… Marie… and most of all... Clara… was she alright? The last thing he saw was the mouse king trying to kill her back in the land of the dolls. "It couldn't have been a dream. It just couldn't have… Clara what happened and where are you?" Hans said to himself as he then took the large clock his uncle had asked him to take downstairs and carefully began to walk down the steps. Hans had almost reached the front of the shop when he heard a familiar female voice talk in a state of panic;
"Oh uncle Drosselmeyer, the nutcracker is gone! I must know is the nutcracker really you nephew? Was there really a mouse king? You must tell me, I must know what is real and what isn't!" the female voice cried.
Hans then reached the front of the shop and set the clock down on the counter in front of him and when he turned around his eyes widened.
"Clara!" his mind shouted. It was really her! She wore a pink coat over her white nightgown and her eyes held the same shocked expression as Han's as she caught sight of him.
"Clara, I'd like you to meet my nephew; Hans" said Drosselmeyer as he stepped back to let Hans approach Clara.
"Hello, Clara" Hans greeting trying to contain his joy.
Clara smiled at him; she too looked like she was trying to contain herself. "Hello… Nutcracker" she said with a giggle and after that neither one of the two could contain themselves, they then embraced each other as if the one they were holding was life itself.
"Nutcracker, I mean Hans I'm so sorry I was so worried about you" Calra exclaimed as she looked up at the dark haired boy who stared back at her.
"Worried about me? You saved me, I'm standing here because of you Clara. And I was worried about you! Did the mouse king hurt you?" Hans asked, cupping Clara's cheek. Clara blushed and placed her hands over Han's.
"No the Mouse king is gone he fell over the balcony at the castle in the land of the dolls" she said.
"And our friends?" Hans questioned.
"There back in the toy cabinet at home" Clara replied.
"Oh Clara I- you told me that you loved me back in the castle in the land of the dolls, but I never got to tell you how I feel… I love you too Clara…" Hans said as he kissed the girl in his arms, Clara smiled and kissed back while uncle Drosselmeyer in the background…
"I'm glad it worked out for you both…"

6 Years Later….
Around Christmas time Hans and Clara sat outside of their small but charming cottage with their baby girl in their arms, she had her father's dark hair and her mother's eyes.
"Isabelle seems very calm tonight" Clara said smiling at her baby.
"Maybe because she realizes how great of a mother she has" Hans said lovingly as he kissed his wife's cheek.
Clara smiled and looked up to the night sky and sighed.
"What is it?" asked Hans.
"Is this what happily ever after feels like?" Clara asked with a smile.
Hans put his arm around her shoulders.
"As long as you're here along with Isabelle I'd say so, yes" he said with a joyful smile.
"Good because I think so too" stated Clara as she leaned her head on her husband's shoulder while Isabelle cooed in her arms.
"Clara, Hans, it's cold out here, you two and Isabelle should be inside!" Trudy stated in a firm yet kind voice while she and Marie stood in the front doorway.
Uncle Drosselmeyer had brought Trudy, Pantaloon, Marie, and her boyfriend(who was once a guard in the castle in the land of the dolls) to life permanently a few years ago so they could continue to stay by Clara and Han's sides. Though they were indeed still small, their hearts were bigger than ever.
"We're coming" Hans replied as he and Clara walked inside with Isabelle in their arms.
"Ah, Hans, Clara, Isabelle is blooming so beautifully" said Pantaloon who was sitting on the kitchen table with Marie's boyfriend.
"Well naturally, Isabella has Clara's beauty" Marie stated proudly.
"Yes indeed she will become a fine young lady" said Marie's boyfriend who got off of the table linked arms with Marie.
"Thank you all. I'm so glad you get to raise her with us" Clara proclaimed gratefully smiling at Hans and everyone.
"Why of course dear some of us watched you grow up, it's only fitting that we help you raise your child" Trudy replied with a smile.
Hans then hugged Clara and their daughter close and kissed Clara's forehead. "This wonderful life wouldn't exist if it were not for your love Clara, and because of you I have everything I could ever want, our friends here, our little Isabelle, and I have you, I love you both" said Hans happily.
Clara smiled back at him. "We love you too"
