Gwen walked into the home of Merlin's mother.

She was ashamed of her actions in Camelot and she didn't want to be here where she was sure to be judged. She only wanted to work for some money and then she would be on her way. After Arthur had humiliated her after there night together, she vowed that her heart would never be his ever again. So when they won back Camelot, she had snuck off before Arthur could apologize and sweep her off her feet. She loved him, yes but she knew in her heart that their relationship wasn't right. If she had feelings for another man, then they weren't meant to be.

She was sure that Morgana had something to do with Lancelot and her's betrayal of Arthur, but even then she wasn't sure if her love for Lancelot was just an enchantment.

After three months of living with Merlin's mother, Gwen left the village that grew to be her home and made her way to the ports. She wanted to get away and find a new adventure especially since Arthur kept sending guards to come and find her. She didn't want to put Hunith and the rest of the village in more danger by staying. It would be sad to leave her whole world behind. This place, land, had been her home for years.

Gwen found herself near a port. A beautiful one but one that she had never seen before. There was no tavern or housing nearby like there usually is, but only trees. She moved towards the enchanting waters and went to touch the clear blue water. "Wait, don't!" A voice behind her frantically shouted out. It was a warning to not touch the water, but it didn't do much good when he had startled her.

Gwen jumped and turned around quickly, her hands dangled in the water a bit before pulling them up. She saw a man there with people and he almost looked frightened? Wait, were those druids? "Are you okay, miss? Is there someone here with you?" Before Gwen could answer, she felt something tug lightly at her dress. Gwen slipped on a wet piece of the wooden port and fell in letting out a scream as she went down into the abyss. As she was being pulled down to her death, the man plunged in after her. The last thing she remembered was his gentle hands swimming downward?

"So, is this it?" Merlin asked as they gather at the sparkling lake that was still clear blue at the dawn of nightfall. He held his wife's hand in his as Richard helped Gwen climb down the rocky path. As the moonlight hit both of them, Merlin could actually see the small bump forming on Gwen's stomach. It made his sad that he wasted so much time worrying about Arthur when his real future was right in front of him.

Morgana.

She seemed different. Almost like the last couple of years had never happened. Merlin turned to Gwaine who nodded his head at him knowingly at the change in Morgana. Gwaine became his new Lancelot. His best friend over the years.

"This is the border?" Morgana looked confused at her new king and queen. Gwen giggled at her friend's unimpressed faces and Gwaine's attempt to flirt with her husband who was cloaking their path. She exclaimed, "Well not the whole border. Arthur was sure to come after us, so we had to take a small detour. Don't worry, on the other side the border can be seen better than it is over here. Are we ready?"

Richard moved away from the rocky path they took and turned his attention towards the lake. The rock path suddenly drew up into a solid rock wall. The clear blue water turned pure white as Richard stepped in. "We are ready to go. Just step in and say Albion three times in druid words. We only have a three-minute time frame right now. So, I suggest that if you don't know the druid language, yet, hold onto Merlin's and Morgana's hands while they chant it. Chant it in your head." He told Gwaine as he reached for Gwen. They gave each other a kiss and then the water rose up their bodies up to their heads. Morgana was about to cry out for her friends when suddenly the water over their bodies fell down and there was no more Richard or Gwen. Only the coolness of the pure white lake calling for them.

Gwaine walked into the water pushing his nerves down while Merlin helped Morgana into the lake pit. The water was so white that you could see the fish, the plants, and all of the colorful rocks underneath. They each grabbed each other's hands and recited the saying. They wriggled a bit as the water moved up their bodies. Morgana thought the worse as the water took away her vision of her husband and his best friend.

Relax Morgana. You are here.

Gwen?

Open your eyes.

Morgana obliged and when she peeked out from one eye, she gasped with excitement in her heart. Albion was beautiful and just what she imagined it to be. She felt her hands being squeezed and she turned to see Merlin smiling. She didn't think that she ever see the careless and happy man that had married her ever again.

"Hey. Hey. You are up? Are you okay, miss?" The tall, handsome, dark, and mysterious man exclaimed as he looked up from the ship's window. Wait, what ship? Gwen sat up quickly and regretted it as it felt as though someone kicked her in the head a hundred times before cutting it off entirely. Well, that is how her neck felt like.

The man moved to grab her some water and as he poured Gwen took him in. He was tall, taller than Arthur, tanned complexion, long dark locks, and either his shirt were too small or the man had some very enticing muscles in his arms and chest and neck.

Oh, what the hell are you thinking Gwen? He is probably married and he probably knows who you are anyway. Why the hell would he want you? I miss my home already. Gwen sighed sadly as she sat up to get the water that he was passing to her.

"Why so sad, miss? Were you lost? Are you missing somebody back there?"

"No. No one I know even...I am sorry. You are a complete stranger and here I am about to dump my life story on you." The man smiled and leaned in whispering, "It's rather alright. I'll share mines if you share yours. Who knows? We could be destined to help one another."

Gwen chuckled darkly and responded, "I don't know anything about destiny. I am not even sure it even exists." The man nodded his head in understanding.

"So, did you break the poor man's heart, or was it vise versa? I'm sorry. I don't mean to jump to conclusions about your situation, but you seem like a woman going through heartbreak."

"Is it that obvious?"

"Painfully so, I am afraid. Here in Albion, we don't really do heart-crushing pain and heartbreak. We love to love."

Gwen laughed. "Really? Well, that is just...wait Albion? What is Albion?" Gwen stood up off of one of the most comfortable beds she has ever experienced in her life and peered out the window. She gasped in awe and turned to the mysterious man.

"Uh...who are you? And what is this place?"

The man stood up and walked to her place in the tiny room. He stood above her and bowed. "My name is King Richard of Albion, the Hidden Kingdom."

A king? Oh, Gwen! Not again!
