[This work is officially abandoned and being rewritten. Currently not uploaded on FF but instead on AO3 and Wattpad under the same username. The rewrite's title is "Of Acts and Arrows".] His teammates- no, friends, don't even know what their resident archer's past contains. Clint intends to keep it that way, but there are some things you can't control.

Someone asked why the rewrite won't be on here:

- When I upload the chapter, everything breaks. The formatting disappears—italics, bold print, and even if something is aligned to the right or center. Paragraphs sometimes merge together and then don't separate properly when I try to fix it. All of these things are awful for trying to quickly upload a story, and I've decided that a headache isn't worth it.

- I'm not that big a fan of fanfiction-dot-net. I mean, the way you upload chapters by creating documents isn't that great in my opinion. Sometimes it doesn't even save! (Fun fact: I actually wrote something similar to this author's note the other day and it didn't save, meaning the ten minutes I spent writing out this message disappeared.)
