Ashlyn Ketchum isn't normal. While this could be because she can use Aura and is the daughter of the Kanto champion, it's more likely because she remembers a past where she was a different person, that somehow ended up being reborn/reincarnated as a genderbent, female, Ash Ketchum. She didn't even watch the Pokemon anime in her past life, why the hell was she the protagonist? SI-OC

6. My apologies

Dear ladies and gentlemen, I have come to a realization.

I cannot continue this piece of writing.

But that does not mean I will not continue the story.

However, it will be done in a different format.

Writing this piece, I was sloppy, rushing, and leaped before I looked, which to me, when I looked at it, made the story sound disjointed and awkward.

I am also not, as mentioned in the summary, interested in the anime other than a few small clips I've seen here and there and well-written fanfiction of it.

Because of this, I can't go into detail in the story, and writing it feels more of a chore than something fun, which is the reason I started this.

HOWEVER, this does not mean I'm going to drop the story, just write it in a new way which will both make it easier and more fun for me to write as well as for you guys to read.

I have seen stories where instead of going into detail, the author writes with bullet points, laying out the basic storyline while still being an interesting read.

It gets to the main points instead of waffling on.

This is the type of writing that I will be doing for stories where I'm not that interested in the fandom or don't know many of the details.

I may sneak bits of dialogue in here and there but the fics won't be solely that.

Also, I have to slightly change things around here and there as by rushing with the earlier version without looking ahead, I made it seem somewhat unrealistic and I think I made DELIA into a MARY-SUE, dun-dun-dun.

But seriously, while this written work will be discontinued, I will continue the story and hope to post it soon.
