MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy that this is over (even though it was so much fun, it was insanely difficult) Anyways, we started with Percabeth so we've got to end with Percabeth! I really hope you all enjoyed and maybe(just maybe) we'll do this again next year.

Christmas Countdown: IT IS CHRISTMAS!!!!!

"Percy, is the blindfold really necessary?" Annabeth asks me.

"Yes, Wise Girl. We're almost there and this is a surprise." I tell her.

I decided to take her on a vacation to a cabin in northern New York. I've been saving up for this cabin for months now and Christmas always makes things expensive, plus this is the perfect time since we have a break from college.

"But, Percy, I don't need the blindfold," Annabeth says again.

"Yes, you do. Now keep it on." I tell her. She huffs, but keeps it on.

I drive a little more through the woods before I finally pull up to the cabin I rented for today, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the two days after Christmas.

The cabin looks like one of those pictures that you would see on Pinterest. It's all decorated on the outside, guaranteeing it's decorated on the inside. Not going to lie, it's cute.

"Okay, let me get out and then I will get you out." I tell my girlfriend.

"Okay."

I get out the car and walk over to Annabeth's side. I open the door, taking her arms in my hands, and help her out. I stand behind her as I face her to the cabin.

"Jeez, it's cold out here." She mutters.

"Just hold on." I tell her.

I get my camera on my phone ready, recording.

"Okay, three...two...one," I count down. I pull her blindfold off, facing my phone at her.

She opens her eyes, staring at the cabin. She gasp and turns to me, smiling widely. I match her smile.

"Percy! Did you do this?" She asks. I nod. She turns back to the cabin, gushing at it. "Oh my gosh, this is amazing!"

Annabeth tackles me in a hug. I hug her back, turning off my camera. I laugh at her reaction, kissing her cheek.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you."

"Of course, Wise Girl." I say, smiling at her. "Let's grab these bags and take a look inside."

I pop the trunk so I can grab the two suitcases and Annabeth can grab her backpack. We walk inside the cabin. Annebeth looks around in admiration at all the architecture in it. I just look at all the decorations and Christmas tree.

"This is beautiful," Annabeth says to herself, walking up the stairs and looking at the beams holding the ceiling up.

I follow her up to the bedroom to put the bags up there.

"You like it?" I ask.

Annabeth turns to me. "Oh, I love it Percy!"

She gives me a kiss, smiling into it. I kiss her back, smiling as well.

The rest of the day is spent with Annabeth learning and looking at the architecture, plus unpacking.

Christmas Eve night, while we're making Christmas cookies, I think about Annabeth's main present, contemplating whether or not would be a good time to give it to her.

"Look," Annabeth says, snapping me out of my thoughts. She shows me her snowman. I smiles.

"That's really good." I tell her.

"How's yours coming along?" Annabeth asks.

"It's coming along, though I can't get the icing to stay." I tell her. Annabeth laughs lightly.

"Let me help."

"What? Like this?" I asks. I dip my finger in some frosting, putting it on Annabeth's nose. She flinches back, surprised.

I laugh at her, but she smears icing on my cheek.

"Hey!" I shout.

"You did it to me first!" Annabeth shouts back.

We stare at each other before busting out laughing. We continue to decorate the cookies then go to the living room to watch Christmas movies. When we head to the bedroom, I wait till Annabeth falls asleep to sneak out and place her presents under the tree. I slip back in next to her, though I'm pretty sure I felt her leave the bed and return.

Christmas Day went amazing for us! I got a container of Mom's blue cookies which was definitely the best part of the day hands down. Oh, and seeing Annabeth open her presents as well, I guess.

I watch Annabeth cook in the kitchen. She's hustling from one thing to the other. I walk up to the hallway closet, pulling out her present that was hidden.

"Wise Girl, can you follow me outside to the deck?" I ask, looking at her back.

"Yeah, hold on," she says. She goes to the oven, pulling out the rack with the ham and stuffing. She turns to face me after doing something to the ham. "What is it?"

"Just come outside." I tell her, feeling confident. Annabeth gives me a questioning look, but follows.

The lights from outside cast a light glow on us and we just grab light sweaters seeing as how there are outside heaters. I know, crazy, but amazing.

"Sit." I tell her, setting her gift on the table and moving her to the chair.

"Percy?" She asks.

"Here's you final gift." I hand her the medium small box which she takes. "I thought about giving it to you before we left, then at the airport baggage pick up thing, then on the way here, and yesterday, but I think this is better."

She continues to stare at me. I start getting anxious and look at the box. She opens it to come to another box. She opens that one to a smaller one. And then a smaller one. I can tell Annabeth starts to get annoyed which means it's working.

"Percy, this better be the last box. Oh my gods." She says, opening it again to come to another box.

Normally, I would laugh, but I'm too anxious and worried and nervous. She goes through three more boxes inside another till she gets to the last one. Annabeth's breath hitches at the small velvet box. I get down at one knee.

"Annabeth Chase," I start, causing her to look at me with tears in her eyes. "Wise Girl, I've known you since I was twelve and I specifically remember you telling me that I drool in my sleep." I say, causing us to chuckle. I push forwards so I don't lose any more of what's left of my confidence. "I, um, actually forgot what I planned to say. I even, uh, memorized it. But all I know is, I want to spend every minute I can with you. Wise Girl, you light up my world and fill it with joy and I want to be with you and only you."

I take the small box from her trembling hands, opening it to reveal the ring I bought a while back.

"So, Annabeth Chase, will you make me the happiest man in the universe and marry me?" I ask. I look up at her, waiting for her response. I start getting super nervous.

"Yes, yes, yes!" She shouts, smiling so wide.

"Really?" I ask, not believing this.

"Of course, you doofus!" She tells me.

I smile so wide I think my face will break if I smile any wider. I pick her up in a hug, spinning her around. I set her on the ground, pulling away. Some of my own tears start forming in my eyes, but I quickly wipe those away. I take the ring from the box rather clumsily, putting it on Annabeth's finger. She smiles down at it while I smile at her.

Annabeth kisses me forcefully.

"I love you," she mumbles against my lips.

"I love you, too."

I kiss her more passionately, grabbing onto her waist.

So, correction, this was the best part of today.
