Super Smash Bros Ultimate: Dancing Through the Danger
Fake Reveal trailer for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The war between the dark and light is raging, and it is soon about to be visited by a half-genie hero.
[I don't own Shantae, or Super Smash Bros, or any other Nintendo series in this fanfic.]
We begin in a area similar to that which was seen in Sephiroth's reveal trailer. Mario, Link, Kirby, Banjo & Kazooie, Byleth, and Sephiroth were standing, facing against Dharkon, the "Embodiment of Chaos and Darkness".
Dharkon summoned puppet fighters of loads of other fighters, most notably, of Peach, Zelda, Daisy, Dark Samus, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Ness, Lucas, and Lucina.
Mario, Link, Kirby, Banjo & Kazooie, Byleth, and Sephiroth fought through a cluster of the Puppet fighters, but Dharkon created more and more of them, and soon, there were too many to handle - the fighters were soon outnumbered.
A Puppet Fighter of Ganondorf stepped through the crowd, and stood before the kneeling Sephiroth, before drawing his sword and raising it aloft, preparing to deal a killing blow to the one-winged angel.
SUDDENLY!
An electric mine shot out of nowhere, and struck Puppet Fighter Ganondorf, knocking the sword out of his hand.
All the fighters, Even Sephiroth, stared in amazement when they saw where the electric mine had come from - it was directly from Scuttle Town's guardian, the Half-Genie Hero herself - Shantae!
"I'm Shantae, Half-Genie Hero!" Shantae declared.
CHARACTER SPLASH: 'SHANTAE GETS RET-2-GO!'
Shantae brandished her scimitar, and charged toward the Puppet Fighters.
GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE: [Background Music: 'Boss Battle' from Shantae & the Seven Sirens]
On Battlefield, Shantae warped in via a Warp Dance, and got to battling against King Dedede, Diddy Kong, Toon Link, and Pikachu. She dropped on them with her Bonker Tortoise Form, seperating the group.
On New Pork City, Shantae used her flamethrower magic on Bowser., then, she used a Air-Mine on him, which exploded and sent him flying.
On the Omega form of Dream Land 64, Shantae appeared, followed by a copy of herself in a blue version of her outfit, followed by another copy of her self with brown hair, blue skin, and wearing a yellow version of her outfit, resembing the famous 'color glitch' of the original Game Boy Color Shantae game.
On Tortimer Island, Shantae appeared, dressed in her Tropical outfit, the outfit she wore in the 'New Game +' in Shantae and the Seven Sirens. She did her side taunt.
Shantae appeared in her Ninja outfit, on the Suzaku Castle Stage, striking Ryu with her ponytail. Then he grabbed Ken and used her Gastro Drill form on him.
Shantae appeared in her pyjamas on Magicant. Then, Jigglypuff appeared and did Sing on her, making her fall asleep.
Shantae then faced off against her evil doppleganger, Nega-Shantae, on Northern Cave.
On the Dracula's Castle stage, Shantae appeared, but with dark brown hair, resembling the Early Working Mock-Ups art from the original game. She fought against Simon & Richter.
Shantae, now in her normal appearance, faced off against Link, Hero, Bowser Jr, and Mr. Game & Watch, on the Tassel Town Tower, the 2nd section of the Tassel Town level in 'Shantae: Half-Genie Hero', where they climbed up the tower as they battled, avoiding the skeleton guards, fireball spitters, and spikes, and also trying not to be swallowed by Wilbur, the giant worm boss.
Shantae used a cannon on Bowser Jr & Olimar on Rainbow Cruise, blasting them.
Then, She used a flintlock pistol against Zero Suit Samus on Frigate Orpheon.
First, it shot out normal shots. Then, it shot out bombs, which shot out at the same distance of the Down Special of Young Link and Toon Link. Then it shot out homing missiles, which tracked Zero Suit Samus as she moved around the stage.
Then Shantae was in a battle against 7 Villagers on Mario Circuit [Brawl]. Shantae grabbed a Smash Ball and broke it. Glowing with rainbow energy, Shantae performed a dance, And, a few seconds later, explosions occured all around her in a wide radius, heavily damaging all the Villagers in said explosions.
From the smoke that cleared, all the Puppet Fighters had gone.
Shantae stood hands on hips.
All the fighters stared. Banjo's jaw dropped, and Kazooie pushed it into place.
"So," Shantae added, staring at Dharkron, then, turning to the fighters, "Who's next to take this multi-limbed creep on?"
The screen faded to black, with the copyright info appearing onscreen.

Specials:
Neutral Special – Fireball/Flamethrower/Flintlock Pistol: Tapping the button makes Shantae fire a fireball in the direction she's facing, at the cost of a small bit of Magic. Unlike Mario & Luigi's Fireball, it travels above the ground in a straight line, and damages and burns the foe on impact. Pressing and holding the button down turns it into the Flamethrower, which deals continuous fire damage on enemies, like Bowser & Charizard's Flame breath. It can be slightly aimed and it doesn't weaken over time, but it rapidly drains the Magic Meter. When out of Magic, it becomes the Flintlock Pistol, which can use pellet shots to pick off foes.
Side Special – Mega Puff/Flintlock Homing Missile: Tapping the button makes Shantae send out a Air-Mine in the direction she's facing, which explodes 3 seconds after, dealing damage to anyone in it's path, with a chance of stunning them. It can also be done in the air. Pressing and holding the button down makes the mine travel further, but with a slight increase to Magic cost. When out of Magic, it becomes the 'Flintlock Homing Missile', which behaves like Samus' Side Special.
Up Special – Warp Dance/Cannon Jump: Similar to Zelda's Up Special, Farore's Wind, but it costs a little Magic to use each time. When out of Magic, it becomes the 'Cannon Jump', which can be used up to 3 times, with cannonballs that damage fighters below Shantae when the move is used.
Down Special – Super Pike Ball/Flintlock Bomb Shot: At the cost of a quarter of the Magic Meter, Shantae summons 3 Pike Balls to orbit around her for 8 seconds, damaging all foes that come in contact with them. When out of Magic, it becomes the 'Flintlock Bomb Shot', which can fire Bombs out at the same distance of the Down Special of Young Link and Toon Link.
Final Smash – Obliterate Dance: Shantae performs the Obliterate Dance, and then explosions occur all around her in a wide radius, heavily damaging all fighters in said explosions. Using this fully refills the Magic Meter.
Taunts:
Up Taunt: Shantae becomes a Dryad, then turns back.
Side Taunt: She does a dance similar to her loading screen animation in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.
Down Taunt: Shantae uses the Blobfish dance, which lasts for 3 seconds.
Kirby Hat: Kirby gains Shantae's ponytail. He can use the Fireball and Flamethrower abilities until the Magic Meter runs out, but unlike with Shantae, it won't refill. He will still use and keep the Flintlock Pistol ability until he taunts or is KO'd.
Stage:
Tassel Town Tower - You fight in the 2nd section of the Tassel Town level in 'Shantae: Half-Genie Hero', where you have to climb the tower, and not get eaten by Wilbur. The tower is full of hazards, including skeleton guards, fireball spitters, and spikes. Anyone who falls into Wilbur's mouth will be KO'd instantly. As soon as they reach the top, the stage resets back to the bottom, and repeats till the fight is over. The Battlefield & Omega forms of the stage take place on a platform inside the tower, but Wilbur doesn't appear.
Author's Note:
