Chapter 4: Classes Start, But Chaos Doesn't End

The following morning after the initiation test, Team RWBY was still asleep in their beds. All except for William, who was studying at his desk he brought, looking over the manual for many different weapon studies. It was about 2 hours before the first class started. William looked over at the others sleeping in their beds. Barton was sort of curled up like a cat, Roseline was sleeping soundly, and Yolanda was snoring loudly, her bed already a mess. "This is going to be harder than I thought." he said, and walked over to them, taking out an airhorn. "Wakey wakey, team." he said softly, and he blew the airhorn, sounding off through the room. The others jumped out of their beds, wide awake. "Morning." William said, smiling. Barton's hair was all messed up, his ears twitching in annoyance. "And I thought my cousin was supposed to be the active one." he said, scratching his cat ears. "You kidding? I got my laziness from my dad." Roseline said. "Up and at 'em, guys. Classes start in 2 hours. We gotta eat breakfast and get dressed by then." "Yeah yeah, Willie. Just 5 more minutes." Yolanda said as she laid back down, but was dragged out by William. "It's William, and no. we're the children of 2 of the best Huntsman and Huntress teams in the world. We have to live up to our expectations." he said. "What expectations, William? We're not here to show that our parents aren't failures as parents. We're here because we want to keep the world safe. Seriously, you're like my grandpa Ghira and my grandma Kali. they say that they wished for my mom to be like them, and it kinda drew her away from them. It sucked." Barton said. "But you know, i still love those two. I hope they're handling things well." "I know, alright? But i just want to make sure we're up and ready, now get dressed in your uniforms." he said, as everyone started changing. "Man, you sound like my mom." "Shut up, Barton." the 4 of them changed into their school uniforms and ate breakfast, and walked to their first class of the year. They sat down with a load of other students and looked around, chalk boards covering the entire front of the wall with a lot of information on them. "This is too much writing for my mom." Roseline said. "Oh no…..i know who's class this is." "Who's?" "It's-" she was interrupted by the sound of someone rushing in and standing in front of them, as well as the sound of slurping. "Good morning class, to Human and Faunus History! I am Professor Oobleck." a green haired, big glasses wearing, coffee drinking man stood there, speaking fast, and then quickly looked around the room, rushing to each student. "Oh no."

Meanwhile, in the little town outside of Haven Academy, Qrow Branwen was having a small drink of a fruit cocktail at the bar, non-alcoholic of course. He had given up alcohol a long time ago. He was enjoying his break for the moment from his Huntsman duties. He never got tired of doing it, and he possibly never will thanks to the gods. Only he and his friends who stopped Salem know, but the gods gave them one gift, the gift of longer life. Now they could live up to 200 years old and their looks age slower as well. "Heh heh. This day has been going great so far. Stopped some smugglers, stopped some Geists, stopped a Nevermore flock…..perfect day." he sipped on his drink, when he felt someone slap him on the back, making him spit his drink out a bit. "What the?!" he said, and turned around to his sister, Raven, giggling softly into her hand. "You need to watch your surroundings, brother. You would know that i'm coming." Qrow groaned, but smiled, wiping his shirt off. "Do not do that again, Raven. That actually scared me damn near to death." he said. "What're you doing here? The Branwen tribe not saving people now?" "They are, brother. But I let them off their leashes for a while, let them have some air." she said, sitting next to him. "Have you heard from anyone at Beacon? Apparently, your nieces' kids are in class already." "Well of course they are. They're both incredibly strong." "And yet my daughter's child is the stronger of the two." "Now hold on, Raven. I think Roseline is a tiny bit stronger, no offense, but I have been training little Ruby since she was a baby." the two of them continued their friendly argument until they heard the door open. They saw a cloaked figure walk in and sit down at the bar next to them. "Hey buddy, the bar's closed for special customers." the bartender said. "So leave." the cloaked figure didn't move. "Hey, are you deaf?" he reached for him, but the cloaked figure stabbed the bartender's hand into the table. "Aaaaah!" Qrow and Raven gasped. "Do not touch me, human. You will never lay a hand on me." the voice sounded like a boy, and the figure pulled out another knife, about to stab the bartender in the head, but Qrow flipped down his sword down, revealing the barrels of his gun and shot, but missed as the figure dodged back quickly, taking his knife from the bartender's hand, throwing his cloak away. "Dirty humans…...i will destroy you all soon enough." Qrow and Raven stood side by side, swords ready. "Who are you? What's your problem?" the boy put his clean knife away, his wolf tail swaying side to side, and he chuckled evilly while twiddling the bloody knife in his fingers. "My problem is with everyone. The humans tried to take away what we deserved so dearly, and now the White Fang has become nothing but a bunch of cowardly Faunus and Humans, "working together." well, I am going to change that." he licked the blood from the knife, and his eyes glowed. "You don't want to get in the way of my revolution, Branwen twins." the two gasped and looked at each other. "How do you know us?" Raven said. Peter chuckled evilly again, putting his knife away. "I don't have to tell you anything but this: the humans turned me into this half grimm half Faunus creature, and now I'm trapped like this. So now, I will raise an army to reform what the White Fang was supposed to be!" Peter said as he disappeared in a puff of black smoke. "That guy….this isn't good." Qrow said. "We gotta warn everyone."
