Hermione laid in bed with tears in her eyes. Today was the Yule ball. "Why? Why did Ron have to go and ruin everything?" Hermione thought as she stared at the ceiling. I was having so much fun when he came and ruined it all. She was having so much fun when Ron had to come and butt in and ruin everything. Why did he have to ruin all her dreams? Why did he have to crush her dreams? If he wanted to ask her, he should have had the courage to ASK HER FIRST BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE did. Couldn't she do anything? Fraternizing with the enemy. Until you apologized to Harry, he was the enemy, wasn't he the enemy? Wasn't she allowed to have fun? Wasn't she allowed to do anything? Why? Why? I don't even know why I am friends with him. The only reason I was in the bathroom in the first year was because of Ron Weasley. The only thing he did is fight and argue with her. Why then should she be his friend? He argued and called her names. The whole point of the Triwizard tournament is to make friends from other schools. Wasn't Ron the one who was so excited to see THE WONDERFUL and GREAT VICTOR KRUM fly in the quidditch world cup He kept saying that" Victor Krum was so good at quidditch? He's unbelievable. He's really young too. Only just eighteen or something. He's a genius, you wait until tonight, you'll see. "That's what Ron said before, Now I can't go to a dance with him. Why?" She thought tears quietly flowing down her cheeks. Soon as her thoughts began to calm down, she started to fall asleep. Although she wasn't the only person having trouble sleeping.
Padma tossed and turned. The yule ball was a disaster, she didn't get to dance even a bit. Ron invited her to the ball and didn't even look at her. He was only interested in dear Hermione. Thank god for those Beauxbatons Boys or the yule ball would have been horrible. All they did was sit down and do nothing until beauxbatons boys came along. For half of the ball she did nothing but sit and….. She wouldn't have gone with Ron to the yule ball if she hadn't a date. If Harry hadn't asked Paravthi for a date, this wouldn't have happened. At Least Paravathi got to dance with Harry even if he wasn't the best dancer. All Ron did was sit next to the food table and stare at Hermione and mutter things about her. And in the end he started a stupid argument with Hermione which is when I thankfully got taken away by those Beauxbatons boys. Edward was a much better date than Ron. Even Paravthi had fun with Emile(Beauxbatons boy that came along when Harry left). You know who cares about Ron, I had so much fun with Edward(Beauxbatons boy that came along when Harry came along who was a much better date than Ron.) Padma decided on this verdict and peacefully went to sleep.
