Chapter 5: Team SSSN: The Recon Group
(also, after this chapter, i make sure Peter Khan's name is actually "Khan" and not "Kahn." I misspelled it this whole time.)
It was the second to last class of the day, and it was Ruby's class: Weapons. Ruby taught about the history of all kinds of weapons, upgrade styles and mechanics for weapons, even helping with making all new weapons for students. Currently, she was showing the students about Scythe weapons. "And while scythes were originally used as simple farming tools back in the beginning times when humans first walked Remnant, it eventually evolved into one of the hardest weapons to fully master. But luckily, 3 well known masters out there perfected it. Me, my Uncle Qrow, and my mother, Summer Rose." at that moment, the bell rang for the last class to start. "Oh, and remember to read up on the history of nun-chuck fighting style for tomorrow." Ruby said as everyone left. "Man, that class was awesome, you guys." Roseline said. "So educational and fun." "Yeah, if you like boring talks. I thought Huntsman and Huntresses were all about fighting Grimm. I'm not gonna be using any other weapon, so why bother learning about it?" Barton said. "Because education is fun, Barton. But I guess you never thought it was." William said. "Oh shut up, man. Let's just get to Professor Port's class." Barton said, and they walked down the hall to his class. Meanwhile, in Oscar's main office, he was watching over the students through the giant glass window, drinking some coffee when he heard someone walk in. "Oscar, Oz." Oscar turned around. "Qrow, Raven. So nice of you to visit. Coffee?" Oscar asked. "No, I'm fine. Listen Oscar, we need to talk to you and Oz. Something bad is happening near Haven Academy and Argus." Oscar turned to Oz, who spoke. "What is it, Qrow?" Qrow took out his scroll and showed a bunch of videos of Peter Kahn attacking different police and Atlas soldiers near Haven Academy and Argus. "This boy has been seen attacking many times in different places around Haven and Argus. He's mainly attacked Huntsman, Huntresses, Atlas Soldiers, and police officials, and mainly leaves civilians alone, yet he's been seen attacking some. And he's only attacking humans. Sound familiar?" "The White Fang?" "Bingo, Oz." Qrow said. "But this kid is something different. He says he's going to raise an army to be what the White Fang was supposed to be. He claims to be named Peter Kahn, taking the last name of the previous leader, Sienna Kahn, before she was killed by Adam." Ozpin looked at the videos, examining Peter in each one. "This certainly seems like a problem. Have you interacted with him?" "We stopped him from killing a bartender in Argus, Oz. He shows no mercy to humans. He's dangerous. Do you want us to go and find him, track him?" Qrow asked. "Thank you, but no. I have a Huntsman group that is ready for one of their first major assignments. Send in Team SSSN." Qrow and Raven looked at each other nervously when he said that. "Uh, Oz, you sure about Team SSSN? Don't get me wrong, they're great, but they're not…...the best." "Well, then we'll call this a learning experience." Ozpin said, before changing back to Oscar. Team SSSN walked in, the team of Sun, Scarlett, Sage, and Neptune, all grown up and working as a true licensed Huntsman team. "Team SSSN reporting for duty, boss man." "Sun, please." Oscar said. "Listen, Qrow and Raven have brought me troubling news. Apparently, someone who claims to be the son of Sienna Kahn is attacking people near Haven Academy and Argus, talking of a revolution. I need your team to go there, find him, and do recon. Bring back any information you can gather." Sun nodded. "You got it, boss man." he and the others head out. "Sun, please just…" Oscar sighs. "You must have a high tolerance against the annoying ones." "It's a bit of a struggle." Ozpin said to Oscar in his head. "But after a while, things get easier." "Really?" "...yes."
Team SSSN arrived at Argus via the trains and walked down the steps from the train station. Sun walked ahead while his friends walked a little farther behind as they walked the streets. "So who are we looking for?" Scarlett asked. "We're looking for a red and black cloaked 14 year old. He's a wolf Faunus and he may have been infused with Grimm dna and has grey skin and red black eyes." Sun said. "Jeez, this kid sounds seriously freaky." Sage said. "Yeah. maybe we should just let someone else handle this." Neptune said. "Hey guys, come on. You forget what team we are. Team SSSN. we're the freaking best. We can take out some wannabe revolution. This kid just thinks he's the next Adam Taurus. So we're going to find him. Just look around and if we get lucky, he might try attacking." the team walked around the marketplace, looking around. "Hmm….where are you, "Kahn?" there's no way you're actually Sienna Kahn's kid." the team kept searching around until Neptune saw someone that fits the description they were given. "Guys, I think I found him. Red and black cloak." he said over the radio. "Looks like he's heading into the forest. North side of town." "Got it, Neptune. Stay on him." "Got it, dude." Neptune followed the cloaked figure into the woods. Neptune stayed back as much as he could while also following, until he saw the cloaked figure go down into some kind of makeshift mine. "Guys, has there been any mining in Argus?" Neptune asked. "None we could see or research. Why?" Scarlett asked. "Cause i just saw our suspect going into a mine." "Right, we'll be right there. Just stay hidden and watch that entrance." Sun said as the radio went out. "Huh? Sun? Sun?" Neptune keeps saying, hitting the radio. "Dude, what the heck is wrong with this thing?" he was so focused on the radio, he didn't notice that someone was sneaking up behind him. He was struck in the back of the head and fell to the ground, dropping his radio. A foot stomped on the radio, crushing it. "Such loud noises, ruining my concentration." it was Peter, and he grabbed Neptune's arm, dragging him into the mine.
Neptune woke up a few minutes later, and he was strapped onto a table, his arms and legs binded down, his weapon missing. "Uuugh…...what is going on? Where am i?" he looked around, seeing that he was in a cave that was surrounded with laboratory equipment and tools. "Whoa, when did i end up in a mad scientists' lab?" he jokingly said. He looked over at a lab table where Peter was. Peter was wearing his normal outfit, which looked a lot like his mother's outfit, messing around with some test tubes and Dust. "Uh….hello?" "Quiet, human. Do not speak to your future master." said Peter, who was mixing different liquified Dust elements in a test tube. "Master? Please, kid. Do you really think you can be a "master?" We don't live in a world with "Masters" or kings. Not anymore." Neptune said, to which Peter walked over and held a knife up to him. "I….said….silence…...but you are right. We do not live in a world like that anymore. Perhaps that is why the world is not right. You humans locked my people up like rats, used them for anything they didn't want to do themselves. Used them like slaves. You murdered my people, my mother included." Peter said, glaring at Neptune. "I….uh, don't know the whole story, but from what I learned from Sun, he said Adam Taurus killed her." "Indeed, he did. But he is just like you humans. He thinks he can use violence all willy nilly, not caring who he hurts, even his own kind. Well, not me. I will make sure the Faunus, all Faunus, and all children are kept safe. Even the human ones. They don't know what they did. In fact, most humans didn't hurt my people. But you people at the schools, and Atlas…..you all disgust me." Peter said. "Are you sure you're a bad guy, kid? Cause it sounds like you're saying you're not gonna kill a lot of people." "Of course I'm not, you blue haired idiot! I'm not a martyr, someone who kills everyone in my way. I'll give the innocents and the Faunus the choice to rule with me. But all of those students, teachers, and soldiers at the schools, and especially Atlas, will all perish under my new creations." "Creations?" Neptune asked. "Ah…..you will be the first to see my creations." Peter said. He raised the table so it was standing up, and moved it so the table was attached to the wall of the cave. Peter walked over to a cage where a Beowolf was in a cage, docile and tame. "The Creatures of Grimm, i admit, are dirty and disgusting at times, but ever since Salem's surprising demise, most have just wandered around with no master. And when i saw how easy they can be tamed….." Peter said as he rubbed the head of the Beowolf. "It made me realize that they are not that different than most normal animals. And it made me also think, if they are like us, how easy would it be to turn us….like them?" Peter said. He stood up and walked over to a table, where he took off the giant sheet, revealing a random human that was strapped down to the table, mouth covered and freaking out. Neptune gasped. "You're kidnapping people for your experiments?" "Of course. Just like what you did to my people. Now, watch and be amazed by….science." Peter said. He took a syringe, and he stuck it in the Beowolf's body, extracting some of its black blood ooze, and he walked over to the human, who screamed in fear, muffled of course. "Shh shh shh…...it'll all be over soon." he injected the black blood into the human, and Peter backed away next to Neptune. Neptune watched in horror as the person started violently shaking, like he was having a seizure. The human ripped the piece of duct tape off their mouth, and started spitting out black ooze. Neptune's eyes widened more in horror. Peter chuckled evilly as he watched. "Do you not see the beauty in this process?" he said as the human stopped screaming, but then, its skin started turning black, the face's appearance becoming like a skull, with piercing red eyes, and the face expanding out like a wolf's, spikes coming out of its back, and the hands turning into giant clawed hands. Peter happily chuckled, clapping. "Yes! Yes! It's alive! It's really alive! My creation!" Peter walked up to it slowly, and helped it down from the table. "Kneel…..my friend." Peter said, and the new creature got on one knee, kneeling to him. "Ha ha ha ha! Yes! I've done it! I have created what humans have made me into! A half human, half Grimm! I will create an army of them all! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" the half grimm creature howled in victory as Neptune continued looking in horror. "This isn't good."
