Chapter 7: Belladonna Vs Khan, The Mess in the Mines
The two transformed Faunus started fighting, Barton running around Peter, who was having a hard time hitting the speedy cat Faunus in his Inner Cat form. Sun and the other members of Team RWBY were still fighting Peter's creature, and it was a lot stronger than most Grimm. Sun brought out his Gun-chucks, swinging them around and firing to attack the creature, but it was a lot stronger than expected. "Stay behind me, kids." Sun said, but he wasn't in the best shape either, almost falling over when he tried to approach the creature. Roseline stepped in front of him, spinning her scythe. "What're you doing, kid?" Sun said. "You're injured, Mr. Wukong. You go take care of your team. We got this." William and Yolanda stood with Roseline, and whilst Sun was going to protest against it, he nodded and ran to his team, who were all now waking up from being knocked out. Roseline and her friends stood their ground as the creature roared loudly at them. "Alright you guys, let's bring down this Grimm. Yolanda, distract. Roseline, with me." William said. "Right!" the girls said, and Yolanda ran past the creature, shooting at it with Stormflowers. "Ha ha ha ha! Take that!" the creature turned to Yolanda and started walking after her. Yolanda kept firing and running. "Come on, slow poke!" she said, jumping onto a rock and kept firing. The bullets hit the creature, but it didn't make it flinch at all. It was barely reacting to it. "This thing is tough." Yolanda said. William and Roseline ran to the sides of the creature, William on the left side of the creature and Roseline on the right side. William had his greatsword out and Roseline spun her scythe around. William stabbed his sword into the ground, and he used his ice Dust to freeze the creatures legs to the ground. "Guys…..I suddenly feel….really lethargic…." Yolanda said, who looked tired now. "Why? You ok?" William said, and yawned. "Oh right…..Apathy…..this thing is part Apathy…..it makes you lethargic and weighs you down….Roseline, hurry up please." Roseline nodded, and she used a blast from her scythe's gun to launch herself at the creature, put her scythe behind her back, and spun around really fast. "Take this!" Roseline split the creature in half horizontally. The top half went flying and landed with a thud, and was still twitching and screeching. "Whoa…..what's happening?" Suddenly, the top half stopped twitching, and started changing. "What?" William said, as the creature changed back into the human that was infected with the Grimm's blood. "W-what? What happened? Where am i?" the man said, and looked down to notice he was naked. "Ah!" he covers himself up. Sun and his team came over and covered the guy with a blanket. "Don't worry. We'll get you out of here. Nice work, kids." Roseline and her friends chuckled. "No problem, Mr. Wukong. We're just doing our duty, just like anyone would." Roseline said happily. "Good. Now go help your friend out. Seems like he needs help." "Got it! Let's go, you guys!" William said, and they ran to help Barton out, but when they got to Barton, they saw the scale of Peter's large Beowolf form's size, they decided it would be best if they stayed out of the way for now, so they got their weapons ready for covering fire. "I'll destory you, Cat!" Peter yelled, slashing at Barton, who kept nimbly dodging his attacks. Suddenly, Barton's hair got all fiery and more yellow, and launched himself at Peter; knocking him into the ceiling and through the roof of the cave, back onto the surface. Peter went flying a few hundred feet in the air and landed in the middle of a lake. Peter turned back to his normal form, coughing up some water and swimming back to shore. "Ugh…..stupid….little…." he crawled to shore, on his hands and knees. He saw a pair of shoes near his face, and he looked up, seeing Barton, back to normal, arms crossed. "You're under arrest." Barton grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to his feet, but he received a slash on his arm from Peter's knife, and he yelled in pain, letting go and backing up slowly. "Ow! Jerk!" Barton said, holding his arm, which was bleeding a little. "You…..you stupid Faunus….you were supposed to be on my side…..joining my brotherhood. I could have made you powerful. But you decided to join the humans, like the slave you are." "I am no slave, Peter. You don't understand how the world is now. We have a nice peace with the world. Even Atlas has stopped with its Faunus hate crimes and have changed….the gods have given us a second chance…..why can't you see that?" Peter looked at Barton, and then looked down. "I…...i….no. you're trying to make me regret. Well, i have no regrets!" he pulled out his knife, spinning it around to form his pistol, and aimed at Barton. "Die, traitor!" Peter said before firing.
Barton put his arms up to block, but the bullet never came. He also heard the sound of a sword, and the ricochet of the bullet. He looked up and saw Raven there, having blocked the bullet with her sword. "Grandma Raven?" Raven sheathed her sword and looked back at him. "Hey kiddo. You seem to be in a bit of trouble." "Hey, I am not in trouble, I was just ab-wait, kiddo?" "Enough! Get out of here, Maiden! This is between me and the weakling!" Peter said. Raven looked at Peter and glared at him. "Did you call my grandchild weak?" Raven's eyes flared up, like they were on fire, and she pulled out her sword again. "No one calls my family weak. Not even you, little snot nosed brat." Peter laughed evilly. "You don't know who you are talking to. I am the leader of a new species. I am a god amongst you all…..and my creations will destroy all who oppose me." Peter said. He stood up and cracked his neck. "You may have won this time, but you will lose this war I will unleash upon this world." Peter disappeared in a cloud of black smoke. Raven sighed, putting her sword away. "What is that guy's problem?" Barton said. "I don't know." She turns around and she looks at his arm. "Hmm….that seems like a bad cut. I better get you and your friends back to school." Roseline and the others ran out of the cave and ran up to Barton. "Holy….are you ok?" Roseline said. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's a cut, but I feel like I'll be fine." Raven brought her sword out and she opened a portal. "Alright, everyone in." the kids all went through the portal, and came out the other end at Oscar's office at Beacon. "Heh heh. I love Grandma's portals." Barton said. Oscar, Qrow, and Ruby were standing at Oscar's desk. "Hey, Aunt Ruby! We did it! We stopped a bad gu-" he looked at them, realizing they were not happy. "Uh oh. Did we do bad?" Oscar sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "No, you technically didn't. You saved a good amount of lives, including Team SSSN's, but the whole running out to do dangerous work thing is not something we can especially agree with." Oscar said. "Oh really, Oscar? Then what, pray tell, did your wife, your friends, you, and especially Qrow and Raven do when you were all their ages?" Ozpin asked in Oscar's head. "That is none of your business right now, Ozpin." he looks at the kids. "Listen, it was very brave of you all to do that, and honestly, i am very proud of you all for doing that, but i ask you to please not do that again. It was a very dangerous situation that you all could have very well died from. Look at you, Mr. Belladonna. You are injured badly." Barton still held his bleeding arm, sighing. "Yeah, you're right, Headmaster. I'm sorry. It was my fault. Punish me. Not my team." William stepped forward. "No, Headmaster. It was my fault. As team leader, I should have been more efficient with how I lead my team." Oscar looked at Ruby and Qrow. "Well, it's not much different than what we did. Might as well give them a little warning." Qrow said. Oscar nodded. "Alright. I appreciate you two owning up to your mistakes, and for that, i am just grateful no one was gravely injured. I will let you off with a warning, but please, just be safe and do not do this again. At least, not without proper training." Oscar said. The students nodded. "Yes sir." "Good. now Qrow, take Barton and fix his arm up." "you got it, Oscar." Qrow walked over to Barton. "Come on, little man. Let's get the arm fixed." "Sure thing, Uncle Qrow." the two of them walked off, and the other students went back to their room. Oscar sighed, sitting at his desk and putting his hands on his face. "I was not expecting this on the first day of classes." Ruby looked at them leaving. "Well, at least things aren't going to be boring with them around." she said. Oscar looked up at her. "Yes…..I guess you're right." Ruby smiled and kissed him on the forehead, walking out. "I'll be in the car, ok?" "Alright, i'll be down there soon." Ruby left and Oscar stood up, walking to the window and looking out. "Oscar, this child that is trying to hurt people needs to be stopped." Ozpin said. "I know, I know. But how can I stop him when he continues to evade and disappear?" Oscar asked. "Well, it appeared from the information Raven sent to us on the scroll, he fears the power of a Maiden. So I believe we should issue Winter and Raven to try and find him. Send him running somewhere out in the open." Ozpin said. "You're right. I'll send it for Winter, and hopefully they will be able to handle this situation." "I hope so too." Oscar quickly turned around and saw Peter there, his knives in his hands. "For I will destroy you here and now, and send them a message."
