Chapter 10: The Plan of Attack? Attack.
It had been about a month since Peter had met with his new "friends", and they have all kept low for a while, under the noses of even the most efficient Huntsman and Huntresses. Peter was sitting in his newly modified cave that Krisopher had built, full of Atlas tech. He had also gotten him some camera access to the kingdoms, so Peter was able to keep an eye on his enemies without them noticing. Carla, being a nice old lady to everyone she met, was able to convince some humans and Faunus to join the cause of "righteousness" they believe they are doing, even some of them purposefully asking for injections of the Black Queen Virus to become strong warriors. Rydin and Bronson were able to recruit some other Faunus from Menagerie who didn't fully believe in the Belladonna name. The 4 of them trained the people they recruited to be deadly and accurate. Peter was able to find some old White Fang armor, but painted most of the white parts black, for the symbol of their group. For the past month, Peter's people have been collecting members, creating armor and weapons, and training in the use of Semblances and specialties. Peter was growing an ever expanding army under the kingdom's noses, and he reviled in it. "Aah….the sounds of victory are soon to be mine." Peter said as he was watching a group of his Black Rider warriors being trained with Semblances by Carla. He heard someone enter, and turned, seeing Neo. "Ah, Neo. Did you gather all the information?" Neo nodded, and handed him a file that had a lot of information, but not all, about the new Vital Tournament in Beacon Coliseum as well as information on the Belladonna family. "Ah, very good. Very good. The Tournament is coming within the week. It's almost time to show the world our strength." he said as he put the files down. "I'll finally make this world right, the way my mother wanted it. After all sinners are destroyed, and only the good are left, i'll rule over this world." Peter sat back down in his chair, watching over the cameras. "I've seen more good people than sinners. The gods are ruling in my favor." Neo raised an eyebrow, confused on his way of thinking, but before she could attempt anything, the door opened, and Krisopher walked into the room, holding a steel briefcase. "Leader Khan, the Black Riders have spotted the mothers of Barton Belladonna in Argus. They appear to be here on business. I believe now would be the right time to attack them at their weakest." Peter looked back at him. "I will decide who I destroy, Kristopher. But thank you. Continue with the experiments in the lab." he turned back to the cameras. "That's the point, Leader Khan. I believe I have created a new kind of Grimm." Peter turned back to him, walking over to Kristopher. "Show me." the two walked down to the new and improved lab where many traitor Atlas scientists were working on making more of the human/Grimm creatures. Kristopher walked into a closed off part of the lab and locked the door behind him and Peter. "What is this new Grimm you think you've created?" Kristopher chuckled as he walked over to a crate. "This, I believe, is my greatest creation." he opened the crate, and a large spider came out of the crate. "I call it….an Arachnid. I used Grimm blood to infect spiders. I have many more like this, continuously breeding and making more by the hour. We will have enough to take over all the kingdoms, if my calculations are correct." Peter knelt down to the spider, and pet its abdomen. "By the brothers…..it's beautiful. And just imagine these creatures dna combined with my warriors…..they'd be deadly…..very deadly." Peter said, growing an evil smile. "Now then….Kristopher, continue working on these creatures. I am going out tonight." Peter grabbed his cloak and put it on, putting his hood up, walking out of the mine and towards the city of Argus.
Yang and Blake were walking around the farmers market, looking around at all of the new produce. They were hoping to get fresh food for the children at their orphanage home. "I'm so happy your father asked to watch the kids for the day." Blake said to Yang. "of course. After he and mom got back together, he got out of the rut he was in and took a job at the orphanage. I wanted to keep it a surprise, but….well, surprise." Blake chuckled. "You're so crazy sometimes." she said. Yang rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I know. I'm just glad my mom and her tribe are actually doing good now. I know they've been doing good ever since they got that pardon for helping us defeat Salem, but I'm just glad they're doing their best." Blake nodded in agreement and kept shopping, soon running into someone, literally. Yang wasn't looking where she was going and walked into someone, both dropping their bags. "Oh I'm so sorry!" Yang said, picking up the bags. "No no, i'm o-Yang?" Yang looked up, and saw that it was Jaune's sister, Saphron. "Saphron?" Saphron picked up her own bag. "Oh my, I can't believe it's you! I haven't seen you in forever! You haven't aged a day!" Yang gave a bit of a nervous smile, since no one besides her and her friends know of the increased life the gods gave everyone in the world as a gift. "Uh….you haven't either! How're you doing?" Saphron giggled. "Oh I'm doing just fine, and Terra and Adrian are doing well. Adrian is at school right now. Haven Academy is a little hard for him, but my little man is doing his best. I never thought he'd be able to handle a double bladed katana, but he proved himself." Yang chuckled. "I haven't seen the little guy since the Leviathan attacked Argus. Maybe we should pay him a visit." Blake smiled. "I agree. It would be great to see Terra and Adrian again." Saphron smiled. "Well, help me drop these groceries off at home, and we'll go see them. Terra's visiting Adrian during his training today. He's excited for the Vital Tournament that's coming up in a few days.'' The 3 women dropped off their stuff at Saphron's house and they walked to Haven Academy. They saw Adrian and Terra out in the field, Adrian with his team, training, and Terra was sitting on a blanket, watching them train. They walked over to Terra. "Saphron, you made it!" Terra said, standing up and giving her wife a kiss. "And you brought Yang and Blake with you. Good to see you two again." Yang waved with her metal arm and Blake bowed a little. "Nice to see you again. I see Adrian has grown to be quite the Huntsman." Terra giggled. "Indeed. That's his team over there. Team LEAF. he's with his friends Leonidas, Erin, and Forrest." Yang looked over at Adrian, seeing him train. "He's pretty good. He might give my son a run for his money." the ladies all giggled and Adrian walked over to them. "Hey mom. Who's this?" "You don't remember? It's Blake and Yang. they're from Team RWBY." Adrian squinted a little. "Oh yeah! You guys came to our house when I was a baby. It's been a long time." Yang ruffled his hair. "You've certainly grown up a lot. So tell me, what's your Semblance?" Adrian chuckled. "Alright, i'll show you." He stepped back, and he put his hands together, activating his Aura, which was an orange color. He then focused the energy into his hands, and formed a ball of fire in his hands. "Whoa…." Yang said, but then she was even more surprised when he ate the ball of fire, and he spewed it out in the air, like it came out of a flamethrower. "Whoa! Hot!" Yang said. "Mmhm. I really like everything about the fire Dust, so I imbued it into my weapons and Semblance. My double katana changes into a flamethrower with blades on the end. I designed it that way so I could stab the front of my weapon into Grimm, and spew fire into them." Yang chuckled. "Well, you've certainly grown, kiddo. I can't wait to see you at the fi-" suddenly, there was an explosion coming from one of the towers of the school. "What was that?!" Blake yelled. "I don't know. That's the armory tower, where we keep any backup weapons." Adrian said. His team came over as some students ran out of the building, civilians outside of the gates running away. "What is going on?" Yang said. "I'm going to look." she ran into the building, Blake and Adrian following. "Be careful, Adrian!" Terra said. The 3 ran towards the door leading up to the tower, but when they ran down the hall to the door, the door slammed open. They stopped and got in position, ready to defend. Peter walked out of the room, smoke coming from inside. "Wh-who are you?" Peter chuckled. "You really don't know me? Well, I guess it's best you don't. But know that this is where you die, Yang Xiao-Long." Yang gasped. "How do you know me?" Peter shook his head. "Stop trying to act dumb. Who hasn't heard of the famous Team RWBY and Team JNPR defeating Salem and the rest of her forces, and bringing the gods back to make the world better?" Adrian looked at the girls. "What?" Yang and Blake looked at each other, then back at Peter. "What is your problem, attacking the schools?" Peter put his hood down, and the 3 of them were shocked at how he looked. "The schools…..Atlas…..they're all the reasons why the Faunus and good people are being hindered. Discriminatory and bullying children in the schools, uncaring and abusive adults in the armies, especially Atlas, where that miserable Schnee, Jacque, turned my people into slaves! Well, if they think their schools are safe, I'll prove them wrong by destroying everything and everyone that goes to these places you say you "teach" kids." Yang glared at him. "You have some kind of vendetta?" "Oh I dare say, I do. Humans murdered my people, and my mother. There are sinners in this world, and they come from the schools, and Atlas. Once I destroy all sinners, only the good will live, and I will lead them into the perfect life." Blake looked down, those same words sounding familiar. "Wait….who was your mother?" Peter took his cloak off. "Well, I guess I should at least let you know. I am Peter Khan, son of Sienna Khan." the girl gasped again. "And I am going to do what should have happened all those years ago. You will die today, Belladonna, and so will your entire family. If not today, but eventually." Yang's eyes turned red. "Don't you dare talk about my family." Peter chuckled as he turned his back to them, looking into the smoking room. "Why don't you meet the newest member of MY family?" he moved out of the way, and suddenly, a group of about 5 medium sized Arachnids crawled out of the room, scurrying quickly at them. Yang and Blake tried shooting them, but they dodged the attacks. "Back up!" Yang said, and the 3 of them ran out of the building. "Get back! Everyone get back!" Blake yelled, and most of the students ran out of the gates. Adrian's team ran over to them. "What's going on?" Leonidus asked. "Some kind of new Grimm." more Arachnids crawled out of the building, coming out of the windows and the doors. "There's a lot of them." Blake said. Adrian and his team got their weapons ready. "We'll handle these things. You go after that guy." Yang and Blake nodded and ran around the school as the Arachnids scurried after Adrian and his team. "Alright, Team LEAF, let's put that training to good use! Leonidas, Erin, take the left! Forrest, with me, we'll take the right!" "Right!" his team said and they seperated. Leonidas and Erin both had assault rifles, shooting at a group of Arachnids, taking a few down. They changed their guns into their melee forms, Leonidas having a greatsword and Erin's splitting into two short katanas. "Send them flying, Leonidas!" Erin said, jumping into the air. Leonidas nodded, and he gripped his sword tightly, spinning around in a circle rapidly. "Imma send you flying, giant bugs!" he slammed his sword down, and activated his Semblance, creating a shockwave of energy that sent the whole group flying into the air. Erin chuckled, and his eyes flashed green, and he zipped around, slashing his swords everywhere at the Arachnids. He landed on the ground, sheathed his swords, and all the spiders were cut in half at the same time, some vertically, some horizontally, and it rained ashes on the two. Erin freaked out a little. "Ack! Ew! Ew!" Leonidas wiped a little off his shoulder. "Eh." Adrian and Forrest both backed up against the wall surrounding the school, Adrian firing his flamethrower, and Forrest firing his shotgun at the Arachnids. "There's too many, man! Too many!" Forrest yelled. "Keep it together, Forrest. Give them a taste of your Dust Shells. It'll help us out. I'll use my Semblance." Forrest nodded, reloading Electrical Dust Shells into his shotgun. Adrian formed a fireball in his hands and ate it. Forrest charged up the energy into one big shot. "Alright…..now or never, Adrian!" Adrian nodded and they attacked together. Adrian spewed out fire and Forrest shot a burst of electrical Dust out of his shotgun, both attacks roasting the group of Arachnids together. "Whew…..that was close." Forrest said. "Yeah….i hope they're alright."
Yang and Blake chased around the school, after Peter, but he soon made his way out the back door and into the woods in the back of the school. Peter chuckled as he ran through the trees and kept running. He soon made it to a cliff, a waterfall to his left. "Alright…..I guess it's time I stop running and show my true strength." he turned around just as Yang and Blake showed up. "Well, I was having fun with this whole cat and mouse game, and as much fun as i was having….." he said, slowly reaching for his pistols. "This is where the fun ends." Yang punched her robotic arm, shooting an explosive shot at him, but he blocked it with his arm. "I guess I understand why your uncle calls you firecracker. It's a shame he will see your remains explode like a firecracker." Blake held her sword up. "But before I kill you, allow me to show you my true power. Huntresses like you deserve it dearly." he spun his pistols around and they turned into his brass knuckle knives, and his aura flashed blood red. His eyes glowed, and he chuckled. "Fear me." he disappeared in a puff of black smoke. "Where did he go?" Yang said, she and Blake going back to back, looking around, hearing his laughs echoing. "I don't know…..he can't catch us off guard though." Blake said. But suddenly, he appeared between them somehow in a puff of smoke, and he pushed them apart. They both turned back and fired, and he disappeared again, both of them dodging the others attack. "This stupid Semblance! He keeps disappearing!" Yang yelled. "I know. Just stay calm. We can't get ourselves caught off guard." Peter appeared again, behind a tree. "Heh heh heh heh. Those two won't live for long. I think maybe my pet can keep them busy until i am ready." he whistled loudly and something ran towards the two, crashing through the trees. Peter chuckled. "Perfect." he disappeared. "What's that?" Blake said. "I don't know. Just be car-" suddenly, a creature crashed a tree between them, and the women both gasped in horror. The creature was a human combined with the blood of the Arachnid. It had 8 large red eyes, 6 arms with sharp claws, and sharp red fangs with green ooze dripping onto the ground, slightly melting the ground. Blake's eyes widened with fear. The creature was such a surprise, and it was so frightening, she froze. The creature hissed, chittering at her, and rushed at her. "Blake!" the creature had long spikes come out of its wrists, acting like 6 long stabbing weapons every time it would punch something. Yang aimed her hands behind her, using her blast to propel herself at the creature, delivering a super strong punch that sent it flying into a tree. Blake stared forward, eyes still wide. "Blake? Blake? Blake!" Blake gasped again, blinking and looking at her. "Are you ok?" Yang asked. "Yeah…..that was just a shock….and i got a little scared." "It's alright. What do you think? Should we leave?" suddenly, the Arachnid hybrid ran at them again, and Yang got in front of Yang to protect her. But before the hybrid could attack, Raven appeared out of a portal, rushing in front of Yang, and slicing all the arms off of the hybrid's right side in one slice, and it screeched loudly in pain as black blood fell onto the ground. "Mom?" Yang said. "I got this honey. You two get away." Blake and Yang nodded and ran off as Raven sliced the creature in half, and it started twitching and screeching, and returned to a normal human male. "What? What happened?" Raven gestured for the man to run away, and he did. "Alright you little brat. Where are you? I know you're here somewhere." she turned to the cliff, looking around, but she heard loud stomping walking up behind her, and she looked up to see Peter in his giant 20 foot Beowolf form. "So you're not fooling around now? Good." Raven said as she sheathed her sword and switched to a different Dust blade. She backed away as best she could as Peter looked down at her. "So….you think you can stop me, Spring Maiden? Well, let's see." Peter grinned, baring his sharp fangs, and Raven smirked as her eyes went fiery. "Bring it."
